“The Golden Life” hasn’t even premiered yet, but the upcoming “Real Housewives of New York City” spinoff is reportedly already getting more episodes.

The E! series stars Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, Ramona Singer and Dorinda Medley as they begin a new chapter in Palm Beach, Florida. After filming wrapped earlier this year, TMZ reported that the women will soon be back in front of the cameras.

According to production sources who spoke with the outlet, network executives were so impressed with the footage that they ordered additional episodes before the series even debuted.

‘The Golden Life’ Is Heading Back to New York

TMZ reported that cameras are expected to start rolling again before the end of the month, with the cast first filming in the Hamptons before returning to New York City.

When E! announced the series in February, the network described it as a fresh start for the fan-favorite group.

“Bound by decades of shared history, fallouts and friendship, this fan-favorite group of New Yorkers are starting fresh together in the Sunshine State,” the show’s description reads.

“In this new ‘golden’ era of life, the longtime friends are thriving in and around Palm Beach with fabulous second homes and a bustling social scene. With their signature humor and non-stop hijinks, the series will follow the group as they navigate dating, family, and career milestones.”

Production sources also told TMZ the series has a much lighter feel than “RHONY,” describing it as “fun” and “light.”

The outlet also reported that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Margaret Josephs will make a cameo during the additional filming.

One insider even offered a strong opinion about Bravo’s decision to reboot “RHONY.”

“Bravo made the worst decision of their lives recasting RHONY,” the source told TMZ.

Jill Zarin was originally expected to be part of “The Golden Life,” but she was reportedly removed from the cast after backlash over comments she made about Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime show that were widely criticized as racist.
