Michelle Saniei is embracing a new chapter.

The “The Valley” star confirmed in a new interview with People that she is still dating rapper and music executive Dr. Dre, months after the pair were first photographed together.

Michelle, 37, and Dr. Dre, 61, sparked headlines in April when they were seen holding hands while leaving Nobu Malibu. Now, the Bravo star is sharing a few more details about the relationship while keeping much of it private.

“We’re spending time together and we love being in each other’s company,” Michelle told the outlet, adding that they met through a mutual friend.

Michelle Saniei Says She’s Happy After Jesse Lally Divorce

While fans have been eager to hear what her “The Valley” castmates and ex-husband, Jesse Lally, think about her new romance, Michelle has made it clear she’s focused on herself.

“For now we’re just keeping everything super private. I’m just living my life,” she said.

Michelle and Jesse announced their split in March 2024 after six years of marriage. The former couple, who share daughter Isabella, finalized their divorce in October 2025.

Looking back, Michelle says she has no regrets about ending the marriage.

“I think in the beginning you get so scared, ‘Did I make the right choice and is this best for myself and my child?’ But now looking back, I feel like everything I did was the best decision for myself and for my daughter and I have no regrets on that part,” she said in the interview.

“I’m truly happy with where life is taking me.”

Jesse previously told TMZ that he learned about Michelle’s relationship with Dr. Dre the same way everyone else did.

“I did not get a heads up,” he said, explaining that he first saw photos of the couple on social media.

Michelle Opens Up About Co-Parenting With Jesse Lally

Although Michelle says her relationship with Jesse has improved since their split, co-parenting still comes with challenges.

“I try not to really have a relationship with him unless it has to be about our daughter,” she explained.

“We won’t text, we won’t see each other unless like Isabella has a school function, then we’ll go and we’ll sit next to each other.”

She acknowledged that disagreements still happen from time to time.

“He still makes me upset at times and it’s hard to navigate, but I just focus on myself. Don’t get me wrong, we definitely fight here and there, but we’re much better than before.”

Before dating Dr. Dre, Michelle was romantically linked to Aaron Nosler for about a year following her divorce.

As for Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Young, the music mogul was previously married to Nicole Young from 1996 until their divorce was finalized in 2021.

For now, Michelle appears focused on enjoying her new relationship while continuing to build a life after her highly publicized split.

And if her latest comments are any indication, she’s feeling confident about where that journey is taking her.

“I’m truly happy with where life is taking me,” she said.
