Mary Cosby and Angie Katsanevas are once again at the center of friendship speculation as filming continues on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” season 7.

The two have had a complicated dynamic in past seasons, and earlier this week, fans began questioning where they currently stand. A now-deleted screenshot shared by Realness of Bravo on X on April 15 appeared to show the pair had briefly disconnected on Instagram, sparking chatter about a possible falling-out. The moment came less than two months after the tragic death of Mary’s son, Robert Cosby Jr., adding another layer to the situation.

Mary Cosby & Angie Katsanevas Friendship History on RHOSLC

Mary and Angie’s relationship has shifted over time, with both tension and support playing out on “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.”

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Mary spoke positively about their bond. “The friendships that I’ve developed, mainly with Angie, [has] probably been one of the pleasures of being on the show,” she said.

She added, “Finding sisterhood in this world just in general [is important] because nowadays people … are just different now, even after COVID … People are not looking for friends, and they’re not looking to be a friend to the point where it feels like family. And you just don’t find that no more.”

The speculation surrounding their friendship comes during a difficult time for Mary, who is grieving the loss of her son, Robert Cosby Jr., who died on February 23. His official cause of death has not been released.

Angie publicly supported Mary following the loss, sharing a message on Instagram. “You were always there for him. The bond was felt. I’m so grateful you two had so many special adventures together. You showed Robert the world and gave him so much love,” she wrote. “I love you Mary.”

Mary has also acknowledged the support she has received from fans. In a recent message shared around Easter, she wrote, “I see all of you!” as she reflected on her grief and the meaning of the holiday.
