The RHOSLC cast’s flight home from their “Below Deck Down Under” crossover trip turned out to be more turbulent than anyone expected — and cameras weren’t rolling to capture it. Now, the Housewives are breaking down what really happened during the now-infamous “plane incident” between Meredith Marks and Britani Bateman that reportedly spiraled into chaos at 30,000 feet.

RHOSLC Cast Details Meredith Marks’ Outburst

According to several of the women, the drama started before they even boarded the flight from Barbados back to Utah during RHOSLC season 6. Heather Gay told producers that Meredith “was completely out of her mind” over TikTok rumors Britani brought up on the yacht — ones suggesting Meredith’s husband, Seth Marks, had been involved in a “possible indiscretion” with another woman.

“I mean, we were all uncomfortable,” Angie Katsanevas shared. “She was yelling and screaming and crying, because Britani talked about her marriage. She was making a scene in the airport.”

Britani said she boarded the plane last, only to realize her seat was directly in front of Meredith and Lisa Barlow. Heather recalled being jolted awake by the commotion. “I slipped off into sleep and was awoken by Meredith raging and making a scene,” she said. “She was just unhinged.”

Mary Cosby said Meredith “could not come back from it,” adding that the argument “spiraled for hours.” Whitney Rose confirmed that Meredith started “calling Britani names” and was “talking loud about her so the entire first class could hear.”

Whitney also claimed Meredith and Lisa demanded that she and Britani hand over their phones so they could verify the TikTok rumor themselves. “I started bawling,” Britani admitted. “I just couldn’t take it anymore. I’ve never been treated like that in my life.”

Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow Give Their Side of the Story

Meredith and Lisa, however, painted a very different picture of what happened in their confessionals. “What happened is very simple,” Meredith said. “I vented to Lisa about Britani. I never engaged with Britani. I never spoke to her; I never touched her. There was nothing.”

She also denied screaming on the plane. “Obviously, nothing was that deep because I would’ve been arrested by an air marshal,” she added. Lisa echoed that she didn’t take part in the argument, claiming she simply told Britani, “Just give her the f–king TikTok,” before sitting back down.

But once the women landed back in Salt Lake City, Lisa admitted to her husband, John Barlow, that Meredith had “lost her mind” and was loudly saying “mean stuff about Britani.” Still, she told Heather later that she was “helping diffuse” the situation. “I don’t agree with what she said, and I’m not gonna be held responsible for it,” Lisa insisted.

Britani, meanwhile, wasn’t buying it. She revealed that upon landing, she confronted Lisa directly. “I said, ‘If you’re condoning and endorsing Meredith’s behavior, then you and I are gonna have a problem,’” Britani said. “And she goes, ‘Well, then I choose Meredith.’”

According to Britani, only Lisa and Meredith’s stories failed to match up with the rest of the group. “It became the Lisa and Meredith Show and then the rest of us,” she added. “I feel really fortunate, blessed, thankful, grateful — whatever you wanna call it — to have everyone else on my side of history.”

Meredith closed out her confessional unapologetically: “Am I sorry her feelings were hurt? Yes. But I’m not sorry for what I said, because it’s all true.”
