Andy Cohen is weighing in on the growing drama surrounding Amanda Batula and West Wilson as fans continue to react to their recently confirmed connection.
The “Watch What Happens Live” host addressed the situation during an April 1 episode of his SiriusXM show, “Radio Andy,” sharing that he has plenty of questions heading into the upcoming “Summer House” season 10 reunion.
“I will say that I saw a lot of conspiracy theories online yesterday that I somehow knew about this. I did not,” Andy said. “I have so many questions, and the reunion is coming up. And, boy, do I have a lot of questions.”

“We’ve seen the growing online speculation, so while this is still very new, we wanted to provide some clarity,” they shared. “It was never our intention to purposely hide anything.”
The pair explained that their relationship developed over time from a close friendship.
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing either of us expected,” the statement continued. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, longstanding friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
They added that they wanted to take time to process their feelings privately before speaking publicly.
“As our feelings evolved, we wanted to take time to understand exactly what we were feeling. We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless.”

As reactions continue online, Andy also shared a reminder for viewers following the story closely.
“I do think it’s worth reminding everybody, all the passionate fans of the show, that these are real people involved,” he said. “Just know these are real people who are dealing with a lot.”
