If you thought the backstabbing on “The Traitors” season 4 was intense on camera, new chatter suggests it may have been even messier behind the scenes. While the Peacock competition series is built on betrayals, secret alliances, and roundtable drama, insiders are now claiming the real tension wasn’t limited to the cloaks and daggers.

According to behind-the-scenes claims, multiple cast relationships reportedly cracked during filming — with feuds spilling into major blowups that left certain players “iced out” after production wrapped.

‘The Traitors’ Feud Rumors: Candiace Dillard Bassett and Yam Yam Arocho

In a new report from The U.S. Sun, an insider alleged that “The Real Housewives of Potomac” star Candiace Dillard Bassett had major issues with “Survivor 44” winner Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho, with tensions escalating midseason.

“Candiace specifically has problems with him. She absolutely lost trust in Yam Yam, and tensions boil over into a mid-season blowout,” the insider claimed.

The source also alleged that Candiace believed Yam Yam “betrayed” her during the game, with the fallout impacting the cast dynamic.

“The fallout he causes reportedly shifts the entire dynamic of the season, and post-filming, Yam Yam has basically been iced out,” the insider alleged.

Adding fuel to the fire, the report noted that Candiace was still furious heading into the season’s release and hinted someone she trusted “did her dirty.” While she didn’t name names, fans began speculating she meant Yam Yam — especially after the season trailer dropped.

‘Love Island’ Drama: Maura Higgins and Rob Rausch Allegedly Clash

The report also claimed the castle wasn’t big enough for “Love Island” loyalty expectations. UK star Maura Higgins reportedly assumed she would have a natural built-in alliance with “Love Island USA” alum Rob Rausch.

Instead, the insider alleged Rob had no interest in playing that way — and Maura took it personally.

“She felt abandoned by him on set,” the source claimed, adding that Maura believed it was an unspoken rule that franchise-mates support each other.

Rob allegedly focused on his own game early, which the insider claimed “torpedoed” Maura’s strategy.

“She felt he betrayed her and ruined her chances,” the source alleged.
The report also claimed Maura entered the season hoping to charm her way through the game — basically attempting to tap into Parvati Shallow energy — but insiders suggested she didn’t have the strategic edge to pull it off.

New episodes of “The Traitors” season 4 drop Thursdays on Peacock.
