After her banishment from Season 4 of “The Traitors,” Candiace Dillard Bassett is looking back at Rob Rausch’s gameplay — and she has thoughts.

Speaking with Gold Derby following her exit, Candiace made it clear she entered the castle with intention. “From the jump,” she said, she “wanted to be a Traitor.” At the time, her baby was just eight months old, and if she was going to be “miles away from home in the Highlands of Scotland, running around Alan’s castle,” she wanted it to be worth it.

But things shifted when Rob began turning on his fellow Traitors.

“My boy Rob started to break up the band, and I wasn’t with that,” Candiace explained. “I’m loyal to the soil, and I was loyal to my fellow Traitors. It didn’t feel necessary to go against Lisa or Rob.”

Instead, she believed there were “enough places to introduce doubt elsewhere” without betraying each other inside the turret. Still, Rob voted to banish Lisa Rinna — and Candiace soon followed her out the castle doors.

Looking back, Candiace now believes it was all part of a bigger plan. “I think he always planned to betray us and go alone, if you will,” she said, adding that she stands by her own strategy. “I don’t think my game was flawed.”

As for the Faithfuls still in the game? Candiace did not hold back.

“They’re drinking his bathwater. His dirty bathwater,” she quipped. “Everybody has goblets clinking together. ‘Cheers to Rob’s bathwater!’”

Rob is now the only Traitor left standing, though he did offer Eric Nam a chance to join him. Candiace, however, questioned that decision. “Eric is a wonderful person… but Eric can’t hear, and he can’t see. So, you think about that choice and why Rob would make that choice.”

New episodes of “The Traitors” drop Thursdays on Peacock.
