The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were spotted smiling and mingling at Kris Jenner’s over-the-top 70th birthday bash — and palace sources are not amused. “It’s so tacky,” one insider told Page Six claiming the couple’s Hollywood antics show exactly why they should not be welcomed back into the royal fold.

Harry and Meghan turned heads at Kris Jenner’s star-studded birthday party, hosted by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez at their $165 million Beverly Hills mansion. Dressed in black tie, the couple rubbed elbows with some of the biggest names in entertainment — including Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Mariah Carey, Oprah Winfrey, Martha Stewart, Adele, Paris Hilton, and the entire Kardashian clan. Jenner’s own plastic surgeon, Dr. Steven Levine, even made the guest list, reportedly taking a victory lap for her “astonishing facelift.”

According to a palace insider, Harry’s appearance at the lavish soirée “shows how far removed he is from the rest of the family. These people may be stars in America, but the pure ostentatiousness is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy.”
Adding to the awkwardness, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg — with whom Harry and Meghan have publicly clashed — was also in attendance. Back in January, the Sussexes slammed Zuckerberg’s decision to relax Meta’s content moderation policies, accusing the company of “contributing to a global mental health crisis.”

Still, the Sussexes seem to have fully embraced the Hollywood scene. Bezos’ company, Amazon MGM Studios, is producing Meghan’s upcoming movie “Close Personal Friends,” further cementing the couple’s place in the California elite.
