Meredith Marks is weighing in after Angie Katsanevas claimed that Lisa Barlow once encouraged her to “dig up information” on Meredith’s family. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star shared her reaction to the resurfaced allegation — and why the timing raised an eyebrow.

Meredith Says the Timing Was “A Little Concerning”

In the most recent episode, Angie alleged that Lisa wanted her to collect dirt on Meredith to intimidate her. Meredith admitted to The Daily Dish on October 7 that the claim gave her “mixed” feelings.

“On one hand, we were talking about something that Lisa supposedly did a long time ago,” Meredith, 53, said. “We’ve moved past that, we’ve built a new friendship and a new relationship, and I can’t live in the past.”

She didn’t take Angie’s claim too seriously, but she didn’t dismiss it entirely either. “If it were true, it would be bothersome to me,” she said. “It wouldn’t be something that I couldn’t move past, if she and I talked through it.”

Still, Meredith found the timing suspicious. “It was a little concerning to me that it was brought to me during a time when Lisa and Angie were not getting along,” she explained. “And it was such an old thing. So, I just couldn’t get that invested in it.”

Outside the drama, Meredith is focused on expanding her brand. She revealed plans to open a speakeasy-style caviar lounge behind her Park City boutique and teased new bath products coming soon. She’s also headlining a 10-city Naughty & Ice Tour and just launched a cheeky new card game called “Rumors and Nastiness.”

Season six of the “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’ airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
