The Plan Bravo Has for New Cities Revealed

Over the past year and a half, Bravo has been having production companies scout casting for 7 new housewives cities, including San Fran, Chicago, Seattle, Rhode Island, New Orleans, Philly, and Nashville.

Once they came up with a group of women and test filmed, it was sent to Bravo. By early 2025 it was down to 4 cities, with Rhode Island being one. By late March, Rhode Island was officially chosen and notified.

This doesn’t mean the other cities may not come, it’s just that Bravo needs to do one at a time. Once Rhode Island starts airing and feedback is received, they will begin to choose another city. It’s looking like San Fran or Chicago, as Bravo wants a big city in their pocket if RHONY doesn’t come back after season 3.

Don’t expect a new city to start in the next year though. Rhode Island is the focus now with no plans to replace Jersey, but Bravo was smart in that if Jersey reboot isn’t well received and ends up being cancelled, that Rhode Island gives off similar vibes in a sense to the viewers.
