Part 2:
Heading west to San Francisco, the Bay Area offers a modern, dynamic route. Producers are eyeing women like Bozoma Saint John (obviously not exactly her), but someone who has charisma and global brand influence. Names being floated around include Melissa King, Top Chef All-Stars winner, San Francisco native, and LGBTQ+ advocate; Sonya Yu, art collector, investor, and philanthropist; Ayesha Curry, entrepreneur, cookbook author, and wife of Steph Curry; Lucy Guo, a young self-made billionaire, DJ, and co-founder of Scale AI; Dr. Bernadette “Bernie” Lim, founder of the Freedom Community Clinic in Oakland, and recognized as a 40 Under 40 Leader in Minority Health; and Dr. Sumbul Desai, Apple’s Vice President of Health who has brought many innovative features to the company’s products.
Another route would be casting women with legacy ties, such as Vanessa Getty, who is a close friend of Kathy Hilton. This fashion icon and philanthropist is connected to the Getty family and high-society galas, which makes her a quintessential San Francisco star. Producers are even floating around the idea of casting someone connected to the 2019 Varsity Blues scandal, as many families involved reside in Atherton and Hillsborough, which happen to be some of the most expensive neighborhoods in and around San Francisco

Oh man, I hope Marin County will enter the chat, I can’t wait
This has been talked about for YEARS!!!!
I am obsessed with Top Chef (binge watched every season breastfeeding my first!) and as much as I love Melissa, I simply cannot envision her in this role! A weird option, imo.
Yall SF is a DUMP! I mean they can edit anything but it’s gonna be so fake! That place is gnarly now!
Hope this gets off the ground! Would be amazing. I remember that flop of a season of Million Dollar Listing San Fran.
