Married to Medicine has officially wrapped filming for Season 12.

Returning as full-time cast members from last season are Dr. Jackie, Dr. Simone, Dr. Heavenly, Toya, and Quad, with Dr. Contessa stepping back into a “Friend” role. Dr. Mimi, who appeared as a friend last year, has been promoted to full-time, followed by newcomer Dr. Brandi Milton, a nurse practitioner and wellness specialist.

Rounding out the group is nurse Angel Love (formerly of Basketball Wives), who joins the cast as a friend via Quad. Kari Wells, who is an OG, also filmed a bit this season.

    I will never understand the decisions around Contessa. Bravo constantly chooses Heavenly over her. Heavenly has been extremely aggressive, cruel and a shit starter from day 1. She’s not entertaining… she’s toxic and cruel and has caused chaos for damn near every one of the couple. Bravos choice to keep rewarding her says everything. Why is it that she’s never even been demoted to a friend role? Horrible cast of GROWN women who bullied Sweet Tea. A horrible representation for Black women in my opinion. Phaedra was right in her assessment of them. Glad she didn’t show up for the reunion.

    @Maggie, Sweet Tea came out a few months ago and said she wasn’t offered a contract.

    I loathe Heavenly. She can talk all the shit she wants, but if you open your mouth about her, she throws an epic hissy fit.
