Producers are finalizing the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 17 cast before sending out contracts and flying cameras to Atlanta in the coming weeks.

As previously reported, Porsha Williams, Phaedra Parks, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton, and Angela Oakley will allegedly return in a full-time capacity. Kelli Ferrell is also set to return — either full-time or as a friend-of-the-show — with her official role expected to be confirmed midway through filming. Already on the production calendar are Angela’s fan launch event, Kelli’s restaurant opening, and Phaedra’s star-studded birthday bash.

Kenya Moore remains in ongoing talks with NBCUniversal and Truly Original, but Brit Eady’s surprise lawsuit has complicated negotiations. Discussions are still underway about incorporating her into the season — ideally as a full-time cast member, though a guest or friend role is also on the table. However, sources say her appearance is unlikely at this point.

Season 17 of ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Could See an OG Return

Kim Zolciak is in heavy talks to return as a friend, with producers eager to capture her messy divorce from Kroy Biermann. With daughter Ariana Biermann thriving on “Next Gen NYC,” the timing feels right. Executives are also hoping for a few cameos from Shereé Whitfield, given her friendships with Porsha, Phaedra, and Kim, plus her history with Angela’s ex-husband Charles Oakley — though her return will reportedly come down to whether she’s “satisfied with the check.”

Several potential new faces are also under consideration, including Pinky Cole Hayes (founder of Slutty Vegan ATL), Eudoxie Bridges (entrepreneur and wife of Ludacris), and Tammy Rivera (former “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star).

Meanwhile, early conversations about bringing back NeNe Leakes reportedly fell through — though in Atlanta, that door is never truly closed.
