The drama from “Next Gen NYC” hasn’t stayed confined to the screen. Georgia McCann, one of the breakout stars of Bravo’s buzzy new reality series, is opening up about her fractured friendship with castmate Charlie Zakkour. The two started off the show as close friends, but their relationship unraveled following an explosive fight over a pair of borrowed speakers—and things only got messier from there.

Now, Georgia says she hasn’t spoken to Charlie in months, hinting that there were deeper betrayals behind the scenes that made reconciliation impossible.

Georgia Reflects on Her Falling Out With Charlie

Appearing on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Georgia confirmed that her relationship with Charlie is still on ice.

“We had a falling out a couple of months ago, we haven’t spoken in months, she said.It was a long time coming. You can see Charlie in the show—he has a lot of wonderful qualities, he’s hysterical, he can be very generous at times—but he’s also an incredibly challenging person to be close with.”

Georgia explained that she had often given Charlie the benefit of the doubt, even when his behavior crossed the line.Throughout our friendship, I had a soft spot for him and I let a lot slide that I wouldn’t normally with friends, she admitted.

But the final straw wasn’t what fans saw on screen. According to Georgia, there werecompletely unforgivablethings that happened off-camera.What occurred behind my back for the last couple of months was definitely completely unforgivable, she said.I really looked for a grain to see through. Like, I always try and find an angle where we can move on from this, and I didn’t. I can’t.”

Is There a Path Forward for ‘Next Gen NYC’ Season 2?

Despite the distance, Georgia didn’t dismiss the emotional toll of losing someone she was once close to.

When asked whether she felt relieved by the split, her answer was conflicted. That’s hard … I don’t know if it’s like a relief because it was still upsetting to have to move on from a friendship. At times, yes. At times, it does feel like there’s a weight off my shoulder. At times, I’m like, I miss him.”

Charlie has also made waves with otherNext Gen NYCcast members, including feuds with “Real Housewives” kids Gia Giudice, Riley Burruss, and Ariana Biermann. Rumors suggest he was frustrated by their inclusion in the show, which may have fueled his on-camera outbursts and behind-the-scenes drama.

As for Georgia, she’s moved on—personally and professionally—and fans will have to tune in to see whether Charlie’s presence—because he is returning for season 2—continues to shake things up.
