Production on season two of “Next Gen NYC” is underway, and Gia Giudice is back with most of the season one cast. But now that cameras are rolling again, Gia is reflecting on what she wishes had been different the first time around. The 23-year-old recently won “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” where she competed alongside her mom Teresa Giudice, Eva Marcille, and Brittany Cartwright. Fresh off that win, she appeared on the “Plan Bri” podcast and didn’t hold back about the Bravo series.
Gia Giudice Says ‘Next Gen NYC’ Didn’t Show Her Real Life
“Season one was good. Um, not my favorite,” Gia admitted. When she was asked why, she suggested producers didn’t fully capture what she brought to the show. “I think they… maybe I didn’t give enough, I don’t know, but I wanna say that I did because also a lot was filmed that wasn’t shown.”
One of the biggest issues for Gia was the storyline built around her allegedly exhausting commute from New Jersey to Manhattan. “They kind of played this narrative that I was commuting back and forth from Jersey, and it was so exhausting, and it was like such a pain in the a**, and like ‘oh, I have to go back and forth to the city,’ and it’s like why would you do that?” she said.
She added that she didn’t appreciate being portrayed as ungrateful. “Making it seem like I’m complaining about my work. I’m like, ‘No, I’m actually so grateful to work.’ And I’m in the city all the time because that is work, and this is what I have to do.”
Gia also revealed that major parts of her career were barely featured. “They just didn’t dive into my work life, which really bothered me,” she said. “Like, I had this huge Vince Camuto campaign that I did. They filmed the entire thing, and you literally blink your eye, and the scene’s over. They literally just show a picture of me walking out of the restaurant.”
With season two expected to premiere in 2026, Gia seems ready for producers to tell a fuller story — one that actually reflects her life, her work, and the momentum she’s built since season one.
If she gets her way, “Next Gen NYC” might finally show viewers the version of Gia she’s been trying to introduce all along.

Maybe they didn’t show stuff because…she’s incredibly boring…?
