Gina Kirschenheiter is getting real about her relationship struggles with longtime boyfriend Travis Mullen. In the season 19 trailer for “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” Gina doesn’t hold back as she hints at growing tension and painful family issues behind closed doors—especially when it comes to Travis’ ongoing divorce and custody battle.

“Whenever Travis and I Are Happy, We Pay for It”

In a conversation with Shannon Storms Beador featured in the RHOC season 19 trailer, Gina reveals the emotional toll her relationship with Travis has taken.

“Whenever Travis and I are happy, we pay for it,Gina says, hinting at a pattern of highs and lows that have plagued their dynamic. She also opens up about heartbreaking challenges related to Travis’ son:Travis’ son — we haven’t seen [him] in three weeks. He’s gotta go back to court.”

Gina and Travis have been navigating life as a blended family. Gina shares three children—Nicholas, Luca, and Sienna—with her ex-husband Matt Kirschenheiter. Travis also has three children—Presley, Bennett, and Joseph—with his estranged wife.

Why Gina and Travis Previously Lived Apart

Fans of “The Real Housewives of Orange County” will remember that Gina and Travis made the difficult decision to live separately during Season 18, citing financial and logistical reasons as well as emotional strain.

I feel like in my home, it’s me, Travis, six kids, and Travis’ baggage. And it’s too much,Gina confessed.

At the time, Gina said their three-bedroom home simply couldn’t accommodate the needs of six growing kids. Now, they need space. They need privacy, she explained. We went and we looked at houses, and we looked at what it would take to get into a house the size of our family, and we can’t afford it. Honestly, my gut is telling me that we need to live separately and see where the chips land.

In the RHOC season 19 premiere, Gina and Travis revealed they had a new house and were living together again.
