We have a RHONY casting update plus B has a prediction about Summer House. Amanda’s been creeping on Lindsday Hubbard’s stories to see whether there is evidence of a gentleman’s things in her new apartment. Secret Lives of Mormon Wives dropped ten episodes, and of course, we need to make it about ourselves and the tea we dropped about Jessi Ngatikaura, allegedly, of course. Are these women just mean girls hiding behind their religion? Honest question for everyone – where are the foundations of Momtok written and why is there always dancing? And why we both find all religions to be an interesting topic…

What’s up Cocktailers? Hi cocktailers. Hi B. I want to say first to you at congrats on our three year pod anniversary, which was Sunday, I posted it and I sent you some of the responses. Yeah, you guys are the best. We appreciate you so much. I can’t believe it’s been three years. I can’t believe it’s been three years either it’s flown by and the friends that we have made, and like the comments that we get, and just this community that you guys are all a part of has, I really feel like it’s been life changing, and it’s just been one of the things that I’m most proud of is just this community and and the fun that we have, absolutely, as a matter of fact, when anything happens, like, if there’s a technical issue, like on cocktail party, as an example, if someone’s credit card expires, they’ll get, like, a they won’t be able to log in, and they’ll DM, yeah, I’ll be like, Hey, I think it’s probably because you changed your credit card. Did you change it? They’d be like, yeah. And they’re like, I can’t believe, like you’re writing me back. And I’m like, who’s gonna do it? If it’s not me, it’s Amanda. And I love that people think we’re, like, a legitimate I guess we are an operation. But I never think of us like that. And we do have, we have Tracy, and we have other wonderful people who help us. And I also want to say. And I tell you guys this, when you DM me, if we’re not currently hiring, I keep a folder. So if you ever email me, Bravo and cocktails@gmail.com
I keep your and just say what it is you’re good at. Yeah, if someone’s good at organizing basements, I could use bill, because I’m sitting in my basement and saying to myself, when I because I’m gonna have time in the summer, right? Because I’m taking my time off, and I just know that I’m going to take that time to sit by my pool and drink like I did last summer, and come back down to this. But I’m going to try to, as you know, should I see these? Bravo, liberties higher. Okay, I need your thoughts on this, okay, and I don’t know, are you talking about Lindsay Hubbard, yeah, okay, as an example.
Lindsey, which we also want to discuss her move, and where we’re at with that. But so you see them hire these people, right? And they have these Instagram accounts, and I’m sure that the reality stars get it like, at a discount for the promotion, right? What have you? I’m looking at my basement, and I’m like, Oh, I’d be embarrassed for these people to come I don’t think so at all, because you’re not like a hoarder, no, it’s getting doing work on your house. And like kids, I try my very best to go into my kids rooms every couple of months and just throw out all the crap that they don’t own with you don’t need your folder from third grade. Let’s get and so a lot of it is kids. And I think these folks understand I so I would not be embarrassed. Well, as a matter of fact, what I am is I have no problem throwing stuff out, but like when I moved to my house, I pack stuff, and this is just a tip to anybody moving that I knew I wasn’t going to use, but I felt bad throwing out. And it’s stupid, because you’re not throwing it out you’re donating to somebody that will use it. Like I’m currently looking at a painting I had in my kitchen. It’s actually really nice. It’s of like, champagne bottles. But when I redid my kitchen, it just didn’t go and so now it sits in my basement, and I probably should just hang it in my basement, because I like it. So maybe I will, you should, but that’s an example of what I have. Like, I just have stuff that I pack and then I don’t use here is my question. How do you find stuff? Because part of the thing is, like, when you move into a new house and you’re the one to put stuff away yourself, you still have a hard time finding stuff. Like when you have professional organizers come in, I think that’s my point. I think that they’re like elves who help, but you still have to be there. Okay, this is the China. This is the this I wanted. I want somebody who knows my inner thoughts and knows what to get rid of and what not to get rid of. And then do they come in and do a quarterly like maintenance session? Because, again, my kids, yes, and they grow just their clothes alone. All of a sudden, I’ll be looking at one of my kids, and I’ll be like, okay, yeah, wearing high waters. I need to do, like, a draw, clean out. And then good luck finding the time with sports. But I try to find a couple hours on a Sunday, yeah, yeah. And then finding the new or then you save for the good stuff, for, like, friends or family that have younger kids, and then it sits in your guest room and you never get it, get them, and then their kids have outgrown it, and you’re like, why don’t you’re like, why didn’t I just donate this? I know, and I have some friends that are so good about that, and we have gotten like, the nicest hand like me downs from them, and like, I’m pretty good about it, but I yeah, I can be a little bit slow. I’m only good about it if it’s people I see on a like, people that live right neighborhood, if it’s my cousins who live whatever, further away, and I don’t see them regularly. I forget to bring it on Thanksgiving because you’re so focused about on bringing, like, the the
salami roll and all the food and all that. Okay, I have something that I need to hire for, and I don’t know if this is a thing. So guys, Diamas, if I’m serious, if you’re in the New York City Long Island area and you have one of these organization companies, yes, that would be, I would love that email for you, for me too, because, like, our office, like I have that big all that wall of shelves behind me you can see on the camera, yes, and they need to be done. They still haven’t been we just put stuff on the shelves and didn’t organize stuff. No, what I need is somebody to help with, just like all of the like, I don’t even know that it’s like, necessarily a personal assistant, but it’s like a therapeutic personal assistant who is okay, I see you have this time in your weekend. You need to book yourself for a massage, instead of like me waking up on sun on a Sunday and being like, God, I really should have gotten myself a massage. Now it’s too late or Okay, I have to tell you something. You’re going to be really jealous, because I don’t think they exist where you live, what so in New York City, and shout out to everyone who lives in New York City and Long Island and probably parts of Jersey and Connecticut, we have, like, foot spas that are very affordable. And you go there, and I’m not exaggerating, it’s 35 bucks for an hour. You could do a body massage too, but I do a foot massage because I do some of my best. I’m gonna be a little embarrassed to admit this, but at least once a week I go and I like, bang out work for the website. I organize master posts, I answer DMS and like, I’m like, technically, it’s a write off. I don’t that is a write off expense that lady. But so with tip, because, of course, you tip well, because if someone’s massaging my feet for 35 bucks, I tip well, but you’re out of there for 50 bucks. Nice. I need that. I don’t know. I just need somebody to know what I need before I know I need it. And when there’s nothing to book it, we’re really going on tangents. But you know what else they have that I have not tried yet? Because there’s not one way. Am I just going to be more dollars, or I just have to come to New York? You’re going to come to New York for this, because this is really so there’s something called Head spas. Have you heard.
Heard of this. We have them. We have them here where they like look at your scalp, scalp, yes, and then they basically do, like a facial to your scalp with a special faucet, and then massaging your shoulders as they do it again. I have not done it, but it is on the if you guys have recommendations, send them, I follow a couple of accounts on Instagram, and every time I see it, I’m like, but you know why I’m always on the go? Yeah, yeah, that’s it. It’s one thing to leave with, like, cream on your feet, but like to leave, I think they blow dry your hair, but I think it’s, like, flat and whatever. And I’m always running to a meeting or picking my kids that I don’t really have that whatever. I’ve always joked that I just, I need the car wash for, like, beauty stuff, right? Like, somebody, I’m getting my facial, I’m getting my nails, I’m getting my toenails, I’m getting my wax, I’m getting my eyebrows, I’m getting my Botox all at once. Just have at it 90 minutes. Get it all done at once some place, because I don’t mind aging, and we always talk about that. But one thing I miss is there was so much less upkeep, like we just looked pretty. It didn’t matter. We didn’t die. I We didn’t die our I didn’t dye my hair until I started getting Gray. I always got my nails done because I’m a guidette. I’ve had tips since I’m 11. I’m not kidding. It was somebody I posted my daughter in a video. I don’t know I was whatever. I was showing something. And they were like, oh my god, your daughter’s nails. And I’m like, Oh God, this probably isn’t normal to people, like, not in the New York City area, for a little girl to have long nails, that must be something that is, like, less expensive there too, because I was telling you I just left, I got just dip nails, and then regular, I got, like, a nicer putty this time. And I want to say my whole thing was, like, 130
No, you are all cheaper around here. Hi, and my daughter doesn’t always get them. Like, especially, daughter is asking for tips all the time. I’m like, what you want me to start having you have written three every three weeks. I don’t think so, honey, no, and it’s not all the time. It’s special occasion first, and I Christmas. It’s like part of and I take her for those, like, for every once in a while. But I’m like, this is just, you’re not graduating or anything. This is like May, and you, I’m also from the school of belief of that is something that, as you get older, like, I always had to pay for them, even when I was young, I had to use my birthday money. If my birthday money ran out, I stopped getting them. Like, yeah, you know, like, that is not something I believe that parents should pay for unless it’s you’re part of your birthday present or something, yeah. Like parents, they’re not getting your nails done every two weeks, and I’m paying for them. That’s something you do when you have a ftj, not full time job. Yes, agree. All right, let’s discuss Lindsay’s move. Yeah, because the people want to know. And here’s what we know. And I don’t know if we said this on cocktail pod or if we said it here, but what I know is I know that her baby daddy, Turner, moved out of his apartment building. I was told that he said he was moving actually further from where she lives. He didn’t say it like I’m moving away from her. He was just stating facts. He was asked, Is she moving in with you? He said, No, I want to say this was six to eight weeks ago. Maybe it’s a little bit longer now, let’s say the most 10 weeks ago. So then she announces her move. She documents everything, and something that we all picked up on when we see her videos is that this apartment has pictures on the wall. So I’m like, wait, maybe she moved in with him. But then in another video, she was like, Oh, the Wi Fi finally got hooked up. Oh, Guy is living in a place for 10 weeks without Wi Fi. No, I and I am wondering if it’s a weird sublet. It looks beautiful. It’s 13 foot ceilings. It’s definitely huge. Why would there? If there’s no way you moved in, your boxes aren’t open yet, but you have a lot of pictures on the walls. I’m thinking maybe it’s a sublet of some sort. Oh, that. That’s a good thought, because I too have been creeping on these videos and like pausing them when they’re showing the closets, it looks like all women’s clothes, yes, in those class, like she’s in, this is the primary and she shows the whole thing, and it was all and like the coat closet, for example, which enviable amount of storage, given the 14 feet, like this apartment looks gorgeous, it does. But yes, I agree, because then there was already, there was paint in there. Like, I think you’re right, that it’s some sort of sublet and but it does not look like she is sharing that place with a man, because I did not see any male clothing. Kyle said somewhere that he and Lindsay are neighbors now. Ira recently moved, and one of the cocktails told me, because we were like, Wait, which part does Paige live in? She lives in the Upper East Side. They all have these bowling apartments, very let’s get a spin off in our apartments. Oh, did Kyle and Amanda? No, Kyle and have not moved Okay, no, but they live in the financial district now. She lives closer to them. Oh, very interesting. Yes. Okay, well, I have to ask my source, who knows the.
Baby Daddy? Does he live in the financial district? Yeah. And we also, if they know anything, like, why Lindsay was saying that this move is really about her daughter, and like, what that’s about, because she made it sound like, almost like, where her daughter will go to school or something, and I’m like, she’s a baby, yeah? But she did. She was like, I’m she was like, I’m making these choices for Gemma. So maybe what she was, she meant was like, so that she can be Gemma is closer to her dad, but it was unclear. But in other New York news, the whiplash continues. There’s more tea. Please tell us what is happening. I promise to give you guys updates. Roni, so I’m hearing that new women are test filming this week. I’m sticking with my gut that is telling me Aaron, Jessel, Cy Raquel and probably Jenna are back. That leaves space for a couple of women, either a couple of friends of a full time and a friend who knows maybe not all that are returning are going to be full time. So another source shared that they don’t know who’s test filming. This person didn’t know, but it’s all hinged on their final decisions. They really want to get it right. I think that much is apparent, but that it is possible they get into production quickly, and that fall winter isn’t unrealistic. Depending on casting, oikos presents 15 seconds of strength. a I also saw that Jessel signed with William Morris Agency. What somebody who works in the biz told me was that’s a good sign, because It either means she’s negotiated a good contract, or that they’re working with her to negotiate her contract. So if she was out, we don’t see Mia signing with them. We don’t see Bryn signing with them. My point is that if she was out on her ass, it’s unlikely the William Morris Agency, which is the largest, I think, entertainment model representation in the world, probably would be signing her. So that’s definitely a good sign for New York. Yeah, and Angie made a promise to all of us, and I think the Bravo verse will literally come for him if he says Roni isn’t canceled and then cancels it. Yeah, whether or not it’s his decision or his fault, like people will come for him. I There are so many fabulous women in New York. Yes, and we love New York in the fall, so come on, casting. You guys got this. We got this. And in a rare moment, I’m going to compliment Ramona, because recently we heard about Sonia skipping out on $1,000 bill at a fancy restaurant in New York. And then there was a disturbing report over the weekend. I actually didn’t repost it because I just didn’t like it that she was leaving a palm beach restaurant in an ambulance. So Ramona was on a red carpet for, ironically, something called the fountain of youth. And of course, the reporter did what reporters do. And they said, Are you worried about Sonia? And Ramona totally had her friends back. She was like, I’m not worried. You know, how the media is. They like to report stuff that’s gonna get clicks and be sensational. Sonia is doing great, and I’m not worried about her, and she’s doing well, so good. Yes. She also said they were like, would you come back?
And she was like, I love Bravo, and I had an absolute wonderful time doing it, but I’m enjoying the next phase of my life, and I have no interest in coming back. And I have to say, Good for her. Yeah, there are so many things about her that I and because I just did a re watch, we remember, like, the final seasons with her and Leah, and, like, a lot of off putting stuff, but she does have good qualities, and she is a good friend. Yeah, I feel relieved to hear that about Sonia, too. I’m hoping that it was just two incidents that just happened within days of each other, because I read that the incident with Sonia on the stretcher actually started because there was an elderly person in distress at the restaurant, and that she was trying to help that person, and then when the emergency responders came, she somehow got hurt in the process. I’m hoping that it’s just two kind of big incidents that happened within a week or within the same week of each other, and I need to get on that. There’s just so much content to watch as you and I have been texting, we’re, like, trying to keep up with all the Mormon wives, which, literally, they just dropped 10 shows on us, and then everybody else, everyone I’m like, did you guys all stay up all night? Like, how are we all talking about all of the shows? When the show just came out right two days ago. But I do really want to go back and watch New York, because I was just talking to one of the cocktails on Discord, who has had her mom start watching, doing re watches of some of the shows with her. And I’m like, I’m just so jealous of your mom, because you get to see this. She gets to see you for the first time. Yeah, I’m with you. I am with you. Okay, should we talk summer house? I think we should. We should talk on because there’s a lot going on. Yeah? So guys, we’re recording this on a Wednesday, so we haven’t watched the finale yet, but obviously we’re seeing all the clips everything coming out, and it seems like all of the girls, except for Gabby, will remain neutral towards Jesse, maybe erring towards citing a little bit with him. Yeah, so that’s what we’re guessing is happening. So we see in the clip, we see Paige like after they have that. I forget what time of the day it was that dinner, breakfast, lunch, I don’t know, but they’re having a meal, and they all have get into it. Different parties get into it. Lexi’s very outspoken. And Paige says to Jesse, I’m always about the girls, but in my opinion, you didn’t do anything terrible. It’s not like you cheated on her. I think you both moved too fast. I think she was being fair. She wasn’t bad mouthing Lexi but she wasn’t like taking Jesse’s side. She was just this. Just seems like it was too much, too fast, and hopefully it’ll cool off. Yeah, what reason number 50 million you shouldn’t date somebody in the house West Point that he has a year relationship Jesse with the house, most of the house, none of them are best friends with Jesse. A year isn’t a lifetime. But I think they also feel like they know him well enough to know that he isn’t a terrible person who purposely manipulated Lexi to purposely isolate her. Now, did he do that by telling her she can’t trust people possibly, but maybe he was also just very into her, and thought he was warning her, I don’t know. And then I listened to Lexi, I listened to some of the Nick vial podcast, and I see why she would feel like some of it was purposeful. Listen West and Sierra had a short relationship, and it really took Sierra a while to move on. I hope that Lexi and Jesse, they’ve had now an entire year, and I do feel that Lexi will be back. I feel that way for a variety of reasons, but if she’s back like they don’t have to be besties, but I hope that they’re not, like, contentious with each other for more than an episode, like, maybe hash it out and then move on. Yeah, I agree. I think I agree with you. Also about Lexi being back. I believe I saw her name on the Bravo con list, which would tell me, chances are good watching them is just it made me think like when you’re younger, that’s when you learn some of the harder lessons about love and relationships. I think a lot of people learn the lesson at some point not to put all of your eggs in one basket, which is sometimes that looks Hey, don’t skip out on opportunities to spend time with your existing friends when you’re new leading somebody, don’t spend all of your time with a new person, or don’t skip out on opportunities, in this case, to make the friendships so that you have you have friends outside of your relationship, and I hope.
Lexi learned from this. It does, and I hear what you’re saying, if I’m reading between the lines, like we all have friends, men and women who, when they get into relationships, discard their friendships, right? I was never that person, and I never really related to that person, because I’m a person who values especially my girlfriend, so much. Yeah, selfishly, I would be unhappy, yeah, yeah. And even though these weren’t, like, okay, I get these weren’t, we both went away to college, and we both studied abroad, where we were, like, tossed into apartments with Pete. Didn’t know, so so I can relate to a share house. I’ve been, yeah, those situations and I wasn’t being filmed, but even when you’re not being filmed, I remember when I was studying abroad, was probably the harder time, because there is a sense of you’re not making a bond that’s going to last for four years, right? You’re there for a few months. So it’s very similar to a share house, but you still want to have a connection. I don’t know. That’s my personality. Like, you still want to connect with people. You don’t want to just sure have, like, totally superficial friends. So I don’t know, but if Lexi, obviously, I’m way too young for Lexi to be my daughter, yeah, but if Lexi had been my daughter, I would have been like, you know what? Like? I am so glad that you really like this guy. But how are the girls doing? Have you planned a fun lunch for the girls or a beach outing day to get to know the girls better? I I don’t think, I don’t think she had learned that lesson about, hey, you need to make girlfriends too, and she’s so tight with her family. And she even said on the Nick vial podcast, which she loved about Brooklyn, Beckham and Preston Gerber, is that they were so tight with their families. And listen, you guys, know, if you’ve been listening, Amanda and I are very tight with our families, but you still need friends. Yeah. And I think, yeah, I do think it brings up a good point. Like, when you say, like a mom, because my mother placed high value on her female friendships. And I hate to keep saying female friendships, because, of course, you can be friends with men as well, but it’s different. And when you’re married, yeah, yeah, or even not married, sorry, but yeah, it’s their mate was always different. I know that there are a lot of girls who have, like, very tight male friends, and there were periods in my life when I did, but I never, it was never the same for me as, like, my girls, yeah, yeah. I agree. I just Yeah. I’m with you in that too. Like, I hope they just learn from the experience and move on. Because honestly, a lot just dragging this out. I don’t feel like any of us are very interested in seeing more of that drama. I would love to see Lexi come in and date a few different gentlemen and but still be cool with Jesse. I think I did also appreciate West Point of like Gabby has a lot to say, but she’s been in this house three summers, and she doesn’t share her relationships. And I think what he was saying in that is, because she doesn’t date anyone in the house, nobody’s on her about it. But Gabby is single. Gabby is beautiful. I’m with West. It’s an impossibility that she’s not dating at all. Yeah, so I get where he’s coming from, because the second that West was like sneaking out and like, meeting up with other people off camera. It was like, West you ditched us, and so he didn’t do that the weekends he was in the Hamptons, and it’s like nobody was checking for Gabby when she wasn’t there at night. Yeah, why? And on these shows, there are different rules for different people. It’s almost once you’ve been in a relationship with someone in the house, like you’re under a microscope with relationships. And when that’s it’s a theme we see on reality over and over, just in different forms. And it comes down to some people are sharing way more than others, and people get resent the people who are sharing more and who are being more genuine get they they resent the people that aren’t. We’ve seen it with everybody jumping on Kyle for not sharing more about what’s going on. We’ve seen it on Mormon wives. We know when they’re saying Jen and Zach aren’t being genuine. We have seen this with some of the people on the valley saying that Nia and Danny aren’t being as genuine. And less point about Gabby, like it’s all kind of the variations on the same theme. And I get it because some people like, Oh, I’m showing everything. Why isn’t someone absolutely, I know a lot of things. We know a lot of things get decided kind of late on summer house regarding casting. But have you heard anything new about I feel like it’s like June when stuff we start to finally hear about who’s gonna be on the show. Have you heard anything where there’s that thing from Jesse, where he was talking about there being an announcement? But, yeah, right, maybe there isn’t one. I haven’t I’m like, thinking of something, and this is not, this is, if this comes true, it’ll be like, I’m a psychic, because it’s just what my gut is telling me. Okay, I had been told that Paige is absolutely doing one more summer, and then it’s a huge maybe, if we see her again, that was certainly the plan. And let’s not even discuss the spin off, because certainly if Bravo can keep Paige on our screens, they will, and there will be a spin off, and that’s all to be determined. Maybe we’re gonna get it sooner than they planned, because of Lindsay’s baby, because of Paige’s success. But here’s what I’m thinking, Paige wasn’t really out. She was a full time member, but she she came late, she left early. I’m wondering, does Paige just do a few appearances this weekend, this summer, like on weekends? And here’s why I’m saying this, Paige is pretty untouchable. Okay, most of the cast is either her genuinely good friend, or they’re scared of her. I wonder if they bring a newbie on or if production convinces Lexi. There were a lot of rumors that were largely on Instagram after her and Craig broke up the ex fiance of the guy she was spotted with multiple times, who we don’t know if she’s dating, but we haven’t seen her linked with anyone else since she’s been, since she was spotted with that guy a few times. So there were these rumors, and these rumors were that she was in the DMS. I’m not saying any of these rumors are true. It’s a much bigger platform, and now there are always going to be people who believe it. Okay, here’s here is my question. I guess I’m gonna respond to your question with a question. I think one of the things about summer house is, I don’t think they pull the same kind of gotcha stuff that we’ve seen, like when Miami girl on Vanderpump Rules, right where, like the cast member, like, I don’t feel like that stuff goes on the show. And I think they did Kyle when they added him cheating on Amanda. Yeah, that’s true. And the reality is, but chaos doesn’t, and I can’t. I don’t think that Jesse or West, certainly not Ciara, certainly not Amanda. I don’t believe Kyle would. I’m saying you get a new girl. I’m saying Lexi’s a little salty. We see her going at it. And we’ll discuss the we’ll discuss the clip for the reunion. Lexi’s pretty outspoken on every podcast, doing all the rounds. Yeah, no, she I wouldn’t put it past her. I never felt like she was intimidated by Paige. I Why wouldn’t she call it out? I guess my question is, at this point for Paige, like, has the train left the station already? In terms of her being so famous that she does do something that is egregious, whatever? Aren’t we going to hear about it anyway? So what’s the big risk for her doing another year? That’s true. But.
And I agree with you that they’re probably a little scared of her, which good for Paige. But my argument to that is, yes, that side of it, and that’s the case we make for her absolutely coming back. The other side of it is she’s getting dropped off on Saturday mornings by a black car that Bravo is not paying for. So what if she’s, you know what? I don’t want to deal with that shit. Yeah, no, I she’s shown there, she’s there and when she’s there. But the other thing is, she had a real visceral reaction to the to the backlash, and rightfully, listen, yeah, like I said, I have no receipts. I have no reason to believe that any of that is true. It’s just an internet rumor. I’m not saying it’s anything more than that, I’m saying, is to put yourself in a position where that’s the focus, yeah, when you don’t have to. You know Lindsay Leanne, Lindsay is a reality star. She is not, she is not. She doesn’t have a tour, she doesn’t have a podcast. She has brand deals based on her being a reality star. If Paige left summer house, what is she losing? And that’s I think I like, that’s what I mean. And I think Paige is there. I don’t think the show is really gonna fire that much more in terms of fame or whatever. And you’re probably right that she at this point, she probably has more to lose. I just think she’s also just outgrown, outgrown it. So we’ll see what happens. I don’t know. And again, guys, this is not I have zero Intel telling me that Paige isn’t coming back. My gut feeling is that she calls it. And I’m not saying we won’t see her at all. I just don’t think she’s going to be there every weekend. That’s my feeling. Yeah, yeah, I’m with you on that. Okay, should we talk about secret lives of Mormon wives? I think. Okay, so first we got to make it about us. Avi, of course, but our cocktail or tea did make its way onto the show as because, as far as I know, nobody else reported that, nobody or shared this. So on the show, they called it online rumors that Jesse, who has the bright blue eyes, Jesse and Demi, look very much alike, but Jesse has the bright blue eyes that she made out with Marciano. So you’ll remember we posted this back in September, September of last year. Yeah, so we had a cocktail at TomTom spot them. She was with Sheena. And so just to put it into context, when I get messages, I sometimes do get DMS where it’s the first DM I’ve ever gotten, and they say things like, I spotted Amanda and her husband dropping it like, it’s hot in Nashville. And I’m like, I know that’s true, but in other words, this is somebody I routinely DM if I scroll up, there’s tons of DMS, so they have no reason to just randomly make this up. And Jesse and marciani Marciano weren’t even linked Sure enough. After that, there were pictures of them hanging out. We saw that they were hanging out. Then it became, remember, because we were like, Guys, are you sure? Because we were talking about, I’m like, are we sure it wasn’t Demi? Is it Demi and dancy lookalike? And we had heard yes, there had been something interesting going on in Italy earlier that summer. So as we’re learning, we were right in our original Intel, which is, yeah, Jesse was rumored to be making out with him at Tom Tom, and Demi was rumored to be making out with him or doing something at Vanderpump villa. Yeah. So Jesse was on a podcast. I think I want to say it was Page Six is pod, and she was flipping it and saying that all the girls thought Demi and marchiano were inappropriate on vandermonde Vanderpump villa, and she got lucky with the edit on Vanderpump villa. So it’s like the two of them are just but this is not new. On the same pod, Jesse says that marchiano made a tick tock about being uninvited to the Hulu event, and Jesse tried saying, Oh, I think he was talking about Demi. When one is saying he was talking about Jesse, they look identical, so it does get confusing. Either way, Demi and Jesse have completely turned on each other and are both rumored to have had inappropriate relations with Marciano because they’re both married and Jesse has so first of all, guys, this really was eyewitness from a cocktail that Bea has an ongoing relation DM chat with. And the person was like, No, it wasn’t Demi, it was Jesse. And here, I just think that Jesse has everything to lose and really nothing to gain by telling the truth, if she’s and so I’m like, Of course she’s, of course she’s lying about it. But this is one of those. I’m like, No, I believe 100%
like, she was seen in public making out with Marciano. So we got some other tea from somebody who is.
In the same universe, and knows some of these women. So it says a popular hairstylist in Utah said that prior to the show, she used to do Demi’s hair, but had to fire her as a client because she was too emotionally draining and would frequently cancel appointments. Can you imagine? No if you’re a hairdresser broke up with you, it’s so embarrassing. Yeah, waiting worse is if your cleaning crew breaks up with you. Oh, God, I know. Seriously, mine can never leave me. No, he’s the best. Demi’s husband, Brett, who used to be married to Angie Harrington from Salt Lake City, apparently had a text exchange with Angie’s current husband, telling him that Angie thought that he her current husband was ugly and fat, I just can’t. Also total side note that a cocktail pointed out to me today. Demi like casually says that Brett’s sister was married to Larry King. Yes. Random. So random, yes. So then Miranda, who is, if you guys will remember, the new one, who also has beautiful little eyes, yeah, yes. I apparently, the way that she is on the show, she is in real life. She’s being authentic. And then it says everyone I’ve talked to from church who watches Secret Lives of Mormon wise. So just for those of you guys who haven’t quite gotten there yet, Taylor, who is the was, is the center diamond, we’d call it on this show.
So she had the baby at the end of last season with Dakota. Dakota is the baby daddy, which is literally what the show puts on his bio love her family has a family barbecue and invites him. And you would think they’re gonna ambush Dakota, give him a hard time for the lying, batting, lying, cheating that we’ve found out. He said, Oh, but no, they actually ambushed Taylor, telling her that she needs to work it out with Dakota, and they imply that she deserves to be unhappy and to be going through all this crap because she had sex with him within the first few days of meeting him. I was fuming watching this scene. I am sure you are to be I can’t Taylor must feel so very alone and unsupported to see her parents essentially slut shaming her and taking the baby daddy’s side. I was disturbed, and you even saw her physically like recoil, cover her face and go inward, how her parents could shame her and stick up for this man who is very clearly a sociopath. And I believe on something, the pupils are not pupiling. I was appalled. There was a moment where I think her sister tried to weakly defend her. But, yeah, she did. She tried, but obviously, I believe it’s a younger sibling and right? Toxic family, toxic, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we see Taylor cutting ties with her family, even the mom getting the facelift and saying her, Don’t I look like you now. Not girl. No, Dakota. He is.
No prize. I don’t really get it when Taylor, clearly, everybody makes mistakes, but she is a very sweet girl who needs her family support more than now, more than ever. That just that whole storyline really kills me, and I agree if she ends up cutting ties with family, I wouldn’t be surprised either. So we got a little bit more tea on this whole universe. So Zach is the guy who had the bright blonde hair, long hair, married to Jen Affleck. So the bright blonde hair, like, what I mean, it’s white, essentially. And he cut it this year. And he was going to med school last year, but it seems that he has dropped out. They say the people who know him say his high school friends say he’s exactly like how he is on the show. They weren’t surprised by anything they saw. It also says his family is not just rich because his dad is a doctor. His mom’s family has ties with a large insurance company, and they have amassed a lot of wealth from that. So if Zach and Jen don’t keep the family happy, they stand to lose a lot of inheritance money. And this one is a good one. Zach’s dad apparently, has, allegedly, has gotten more than one DUI. I mean, we love this tea. Keep it coming. I love that our salt lake folks are like our Charleston folks, they tell us everything, like our Montauk folks, you guys are all great, and apparently our Rhode Island folks are very good too. Yeah, a lot of people think Jen isn’t being authentic. They question if her and Zach actually split. Yeah, I found the conversation with Jesse and Demi and Zach so weird. How quickly they like, flipped on Jen on her, yeah. And they basically, they were like, Oh, she told us you were terrible. If he is terrible, is he gonna sit there and be like, yes, she was telling you the truth. I’m terrible. Zach’s for her under the bus, and me like, I I’m like, This guy is trash to rash. And it looks like whether they were split or not, it looks like he’s perfectly fine with her supporting him because he was a med school student, which sounds to me like he was broke, and he’s in his late 20s. Yeah, he was like 28 as a med school and again, and his dream was to be a doctor. If your dream was not a doctor, you would have been in med school 10 years ago, right? But I guess he’s fine with the mom talk now, because he’s going to accept all the checks and brand deals. So
I have a lot of opinions about this show. I think, honestly, the girls have piled on. Jen right when she’s at her most vulnerable, she seems to have a hard time navigating this whole situation. Zach acted like a complete ass to her last season. And in my mind, I don’t know, I think I’ve said this before, guys, but I really, truly feel like this, you’re here for your girlfriends, right? And like a real friend says, I’m here for you if you want to vent about all the shitty things your husband does, and this week, I will listen. And then if you call me and you say, next week, let’s all go on a double date, things are better. Then you say, okay, can’t wait to spend time with you. These women are so vicious, and marriage is tricky. Couples, we see Amir going through it on the valley in this very similar way, yeah, and couples have their seasons. You’ve seen this in your life. So has i, and everyone has been an ass to their spouse at some point. But that doesn’t mean divorce. I think I just, I think this viciousness is viciousness on purpose. Like when Whitney asks who I’m no big fan of Whitney either. She annoys the crap out of me. But when she asks if she can be back in the group, quote, unquote, while they’re on a girls trip together, and they all vote no, except for Taylor. Like this is the kind of mean girl shit that I warned my daughter about, yeah? Because I’m like, this is the kind of stuff that happens and you I literally was having this conversation with my daughter this week, like, somebody, one of her friends, I drove on a field trip, and I, like, was just listening to the girls. I was like, Yeah, right. You hear stuff, yeah. I was like, does she talk like that a lot? Like, how do you feel about that? Not trying to steer her one way or the other? And she’s like, is me? And I’m like, so a different friend does over talk like that, and she’s no and I’m like, like, just notice these things, because this is the kind of stuff that it gets worse and worse until it gets better and you figure out who are the mean girls and who are not so I well, and the problem is, when you don’t have somebody guiding you through that at school age, you end up being a 20 something year old mean girl or person who allows mean girls to bully them. And it is such a hard balance to not be the mean girl, but also not be the person who accepts that treatment just for the sake of keeping the peace. Yeah, and I, too have been in situation with my school aged daughter and with girls, and I shouldn’t generalize, but I will, and in my experience with like my daughter.
Daughter and my nieces and cousins and whatever, versus the boys there’s, of course, boys have some stuff too, but it’s very hard to separate yourself and not fight back. But what I say to my daughter too is you could see how a person is being like if that means you can’t sit with them at lunch, I don’t want you fighting back. I want you finding people who align with how you are not that you have to be on the defense and fight with them, because they shouldn’t have said this or that to you or when, right? And but there are always going to be people who just accept it for the sake of getting along. It’s personality types. They’re Gretchen wieners, yeah? And I don’t know what’s worse, because obviously I think it’s worse to be the mean girl, yeah, but I also think it’s, I wouldn’t want to be Gretchen wiener either. No. And you post this, I feel like probably quarterly. And I always think it’s such it’s such a good statement that your real friends are the friends that defend you when you’re not in the room. And I tell my daughter that now, because we have these conversations, I don’t know why it’s different, because I don’t these kind of conversations. Like it’s just there’s not somebody constantly, somebody trying to push somebody out with the boys that I see as much as I do, like, it’s another mom and I were talking about this happening to her daughter in high school, and she’s and the pattern there, there are two girls that just pick one girl, and then they would do this, and they would push them out of the group, and it was like it was just a pattern, and those are the people you just have to watch out for. And I felt so bad, as annoying as I find Whitney to be, I felt you could just see her kind of crumble internally when that happened. And then Demi and Jesse, who I think are probably the leaders of some of this behavior, they’re currently like in current day, in a big falling out. And we find out on the show, it’s because that there’s been a lot of things, but we know Demi, in between seasons had said that she was okay with Jesse not being on the show if it meant all the other girls could get more money? Yeah, Demi is being accused by Taylor as only caring about brand deals, and Taylor said Money doesn’t come first to me. And the reason why you think I don’t know what I’m making isn’t that I don’t know what I’m making. But she basically was like, I am the center diamond bitch, and I’m not gonna rub it in my friends faces. You know what’s interesting? I have a legit question for you, for anybody who can answer it, because watching the show, it gets the show annoys me. I’m not gonna lie. I think there’s some really interesting things about it, but it also, I don’t it annoys me when they’re like, tick tock Mom Talk stands for helping other women and upholding whatever. And I’m like, how? Like, how does that all work? Because, like, most of what you guys do is.
Dancing and, like, why is it always dancing? Is it just because that’s what a lot of people do on Tiktok? I really don’t get it. I think I don’t get it. Is that why? Okay, because, or is this, like, the dancing, like I did it, just say, I don’t really get it either. The funniest thing is, I think it was Morgan from, oh god, what’s Morgan’s Instagram? Beautiful brown haired, long brown haired girl. Why can I think of her? Is this an influencer? No, she’s a Bravo. Recapper, Morgan. Morgan P talk. Oh, I watching one of her videos, and she had me cracking up because she’s and the hair and she has, Morgan has beautiful, long, dark hair, and she’s and the hair’s always done, and the hairs, and the hairs always done, and I find myself watching them as they’re doing their hair to figure out how they flip it. And I’m like, it gives me Stepford Wives, Oh, for sure, because that’s the point. But yeah, and listen, I have to be honest with you guys, and I’d like your feedback on this, because there are shows that I do feel like I watch because they’re popular, and I get, in this case, we get a lot of tea, like we were the ones knowing that Jesse was making out with Marciano. So of course, we’re gonna cover it. But if I didn’t do this, and I didn’t have people listening that were interested, I think this is a show that I probably would watch a couple episodes of but be like, and not for me, maybe tune in for the reunion kind of thing. Like, maybe, yeah, you know, like, I might pay attention to some of the drama, but I don’t I’m not invested, like I am in Shamia and Porsche’s friendship. Like, I completely agree. I don’t know younger, I don’t know if the people are too superficial themselves. I think I have a real problem with people being shitty and then, and I think most of us have a problem with this, and then talking about being religious, yeah, because whatever religion you practice, and I have family and friends that are literally every religion, but something that every devout person has supposed to have is Like decency and a moral code, and they’re so devoid of that. Yeah? And I’m not speaking to Mormon people because I know Mormon people who are absolutely devout and everything. I’m just, I’m just speaking to what’s represented in this small group of influencers. I have to imagine the Mormon population is like, not happy, yeah. I would imagine, yeah, I would, but I would also imagine, like, they’re looking at that as bringing, like, more young people into, I don’t know, I think the Mormon religion would have put a pretty big kibosh on it if they didn’t see the benefit of possibly bringing more people in. I think it was Heather McDonald that I was listening to the other day who was saying, the Scientologists shut everybody out and wanted nothing on air, and the Mormons have been opposite of that. So you’ve got to think of that as like, at least it’s, I don’t know well. And now we posted a couple weeks ago that a new show is being filmed in Texas about Christian moms, similar to Mormon wives, and Peacock has just picked it up. I think the reason people are so interested in it because typically very religious people, it’s I was very intrigued by my unorthodox life, because, yes, the one, the woman had left the Orthodox religion, and we were like hearing about it. It’s, unless you’re Orthodox, you really wouldn’t know the inner workings of that, unless you’re a Mormon, because they’re not putting themselves on television, and anything you do see is going to be what they want you to see. And unless you’ve been to Utah, especially unless you’ve been to Utah, maybe before the last 10 years, it was like a different and I don’t say this in a bad way. It felt very foreign to go there because, like, like these communities that all have, like, huge houses, because of all the families, the people you know walking to temple you bat, especially before, I don’t know, like, 1015, years ago, you literally, they would give you a cocktail menu. You had to ask for it. I remember being at a restaurant, actually with my parents. We were on a ski trip when I was in high school, so I was old enough to understand that it was weird, like they had to ask three times and finally, the waiter brought the wine list. But not that my parents were like, they just wanted to have wine with dinner. You could it was a very it’s changed a lot, because I do go there. I go skis there. Sometimes I think Utah is probably one of the most beautiful states. It’s absolutely gorgeous. There it was. But because, unless you’ve been there and understand this.
Especially if you’re not a Mormon, it is. It was a very it was a very different thing. So I do think the church is probably maybe not condoning this, but also knowing that, like we’re there. Well, I think I did first show it was big love, which obviously was different because it was fiction, and they showed a side of it with the polygamy that we haven’t seen like normalized. But Sister Wives? Are they Mormon Sister Wives? So one of the crazy things about like, the Mormon religion not to go like, I told you, like, I’m very this religion. I read that book under the banner of heaven. And one of the things, the points that the author, John Krakauer, makes in the book, is that the roots of the religion, the Mormon religion, which is essentially Joseph Smith, says, I found these gold this gold tablets with a new set of I’m totally messing this up, guys, so please don’t come for me. But he essentially says, I found these gold tablets, and the angel Moroni came down and said, This is where these tablets are, and I am now the new prophet of and you need to follow me. And so it set a precedent in that religion where anybody could be a prophet, whereas before, organized religion had always been like the Catholic Church goes all the way up to the Pope, right? And it’s about the priests and the but in that religion, then what happened was there were other people who were like, I’m a prophet too. And so what had happened is there were other different groups within the Mormon that kind of followed the same things, but they were different sects, C, C, T, sects of the religion. And so the sister wives were part of a different group within that was loosely tied to Mormonism. Had the belief of it’s okay for a man should, because that is how Mormonism did start. But then the Mormon church said, Wait, no, you can’t have more than one wife anymore. And so that’s essentially guys. I know I’m butchering this, and there’s so many more details and things that I’m probably getting wrong a little bit, but that’s generally, you know what it thing is. And this is like how you started it, by saying I don’t want to offend people. I think that’s what it is, because there’s a feeling that you never want to offend somebody’s religion. I know even myself, and as I’ve gotten older, I think I’m more comfortable. But once I know somebody like I work with two women, one woman is an Orthodox Jewish woman, and one one woman is a Muslim woman, and I’ve worked with them for many years. So with both women, more recently, feeling okay, we’ve worked together. I’ve asked them questions, and they didn’t take it, if anything, they were, like, happy to talk about it, yeah, but it’s just because it’s curious. And the funniest thing is, to me, and you and I are Catholic, and I don’t know why you just when you’re something, you assume everybody, like, knows what it is. Yeah, we’re asking me questions. And I was like, Oh, that. And it was so nice. So yeah, I love and I it comes from a real place of curiosity for me, not from I want to tear this down, but really trying to understand the roots and where it all comes from, which is why I find it so fascinating. And by the way, guys like, there are so many, I always say to my kids, I’m like, one of the things I love about being Catholic is there are so many like, weird things, like we go and like we in the Catholic Church, like, hold on to pieces of fingernails and hair and teeth of saints, and we call them relics, and we put them in little boxes that you can go and peek through a little gold covered hole to go look at. We were in Argentina in February, we were like, looking at the mummified saints, and my kids were like, what’s happening? I was I know, but it’s like one of the, I think it’s like a cool, very strange thing about our religion that, like, we just see and accept, because that’s totally what we grew up with, and it seems like normal to us, but when we were to explain it, and obviously the person you’re explaining it to isn’t going to be like, Oh, my God, but it may be that one of my friends at work went home to their family and was like, Wait, did you know that Catholics like, mummify saints and can go look at them and then, like, I’m always in my head, I’m like, Okay, why do we not have all of the saints? We only have a certain like their femur bone or whatever, like, Where is the rest of this is, but those are the things that like, I think we can poke fun at our own in our own religion, because there’s, it’s just there’s, that’s one of the things I think, personally, is cool and mystical about the Catholic religion, just like everybody has their things, And I never mind if anybody asks me questions here. I’m like, You know what happened? I’m like, I have no idea. My daughter was like, Why can’t girls be priests? Oh, yeah. Went right back to her, and I was like, I was that little girl. My daughter says the same thing, but I was that little girl very bothered by it. And yeah, not to get into a whole Yeah, time.
Topic of religion. And I, my kids are baptized, and they made their communion. But I, I really have said at many points in my life, I think I should convert to Episcopalian, and my dad is Irish. As you guys know, my mom was Italian, and my husband is mostly Irish, and my dad and my husband are like, we’re Irish Catholics. That’s what we are. And though, even though, like in many ways, we don’t agree with all of the teachings, certainly socially and everything like that. And for me, what I always say is it’s very weird. And I explained to my daughter like it’s very old fashioned, and I hope that we live to see it change. That’s how I explain it to her, because, yeah, oh, I also say, I mean, I I also say there’s a lot of things about religion that that are held on to because people are scared to let go of the power and whatever there’s all just like with any religion, there is okay, and I’m I don’t want to piss off any devout Catholics, but why can’t priests get married? Let’s face it, because they don’t want them to procreate, and have to give other people the money, not note as the church burns behind me the same day for coming to cocktails and Catholics guy B is the worst. I’m not, you know what I but I do think that. And I remember even as a little girl, I didn’t go to Catholic elementary school, I went to public elementary school, and I was always that kid in CCD, questioning, yeah, and I think that’s okay, and I think people find their part, like their place in religion. I will just say this too, because, like, we’ve seen Lisa, Lisa from Salt Lake City, say she’s Mormon 2.0 and that she still goes to temple, and that everyone knows that she drinks and whatever, like I find I go to a parish that is a little bit is more on the liberal side, and encourages people to question things and talk about these things.
