Amanda just had an evening out doing an activity that B does NOT approve of.  And we go on a bit of a tangent about boating. Our merch store is almost ready – we can’t wait to share it with you! And while things were slow on Bravo this week during the holiday, there was a lot going on offscreen. True to B’s prediction, Lindsay Hubbard announced her pregnancy. And we share a little about why we haven’t and won’t share specifics or pictures of the new man in her life. Summer House is filming, and we’ve got info on the newbies – and who is vibing. And Hannah Berner came out this week telling the story of why she and Kyle actually had beef – turns out it had nothing to do with Luke. We each have theories about why Hannah is now telling that story, four years later. And if you haven’t watched Ryan Serhant’s new show Owning Manhattan on Netflix, jump on it. We both loved it and share our thoughts on what makes it so good – and of course, we’ve got opinions on the agents.

What’s up? Cocktailers, Hello, Miss Amanda. Hi, cock Taylors. Hi, Pete. How are you? I literally sent you a text this morning, just thank you for taking a ride on the Hot Mess express with me. I literally feel like a hot I as I was like, I’m trying to we’re trying to figure out what time to record today. And then I was like, Oh, can we push back a half an hour? I forgot my cleaning ladies coming, and my new house has a lot of stairs. Like, this is my cardio today. I feel like I’m still out of breath from running around. And we had like we were out last night. So what you were doing, tell them I do not approve of this guy. This is going to this is going to highlight. We have a lot of similarities, but we are very different. And this is a very good example of how we’re different. We were at a lake weeks our friends have a wake surfing boat, and so wake surfing is different than water skiing and wake boarding, because wake surfing is actually a special kind of boat that puts up like a wave that you can actually ride. Yeah, I sent, I actually have footage, but you can see, like, my little bit of chub coming out from under my stop it. But, yeah, so I sent her a picture. So I was week surfing. Now it was nighttime. Was it not? It was evening. It was light. It was what still stays light until, I don’t know, 830 or so. Number one, this is dangerous. Pete
is not approved. She was like, I really worried about this night. I have, okay, I don’t even know of me, like a geyser. Know this about me, but I am a very big Oh, yeah, it was starting to get dark. Yeah, I think the sun was down, but it was definitely not dark. I’m a scaredy cat. I don’t do roller coasters. To me living on the edge is getting on the escalator.
And to be honest, I don’t love it. I do not. I like you know what’s funny? I do identify with that, though, because I used to be scared to death of revolving doors. Still, am still I’m resolving doors are doozy. I am telling you
I don’t like risk, physical risk. Friends of ours have a boat, and I’m scared just to be on the boat. Now, my friend rides the boat. He’s great. It’s a beautiful boat, safe. I just don’t like it, because I’m like, where is the actual captain from? Like, Royal Caribbean? Like,
I don’t know. And it’s funny, because you guys know, we’re in South Florida a lot, we don’t have a boat. But my husband says, oh, when we’re older, if we were to be down here a lot, I’d want to get a boat. And I’m, like, for who?
I am not going on, you could start taking lessons now and retire in 20 years and I’m still not going to be comfortable with you as my captain. So you better buy a yacht and hire somebody who is Captain Lee. The ocean is a whole different situation too, trying to bring in your boat to a dock that when there’s, there’s a tide, yeah, like, having to time that and yeah, that, that’s like a, I agree, lakes are like, no big deal. Oh, you were on a lake. We were on a, yeah, we were on a lake. It was super fun because then we took the boat over and moored it a.
Over close to Marina, and there was a band playing, and so we did that, and then we did boat back to the dock in the dark. I’ve done lights, but it was super fun. It was a really just fun summer night. No boats in the summer are fun, but yeah, wakeboarding off the back not fun.
I did. So if anybody here does, if any of the cocktailers Wake surf. So I grew up water skiing, so I knew how to do that. And then so I was able to pick up wake surfing pretty easily. You’re just a lot closer to the boat when you’re wake surfing. And then that could, actually could get you could get eaten by the engine, yes, or an alligator, as you said, yeah, yeah. There’s a lot of things. There’s a lot of reasons I’m curious, and we’re gonna have to pull this in cocktail party, because I need to know if people think I’m crazy for being so cautious, or Amanda’s crazy for almost getting eaten by alligators and or the engine of the boat. Yeah, for those of you guys who have done it, I was trying. I saw, like, I’ve done it in the past, been able, because you can actually drop the rope and then ride the wave behind the boat. So I was trying to do that last night. I did not, I did not succeed. But that is so fun when you can actually get that, because then you’re like, you’re not even being pulled by anything. You’re just literally riding the way behind the boat. Anyway. I’m not in No, but this is like, this is the kinds of things that like, back in the 80s, people would be like, oh, people in their 40s are like, over the hill, and wouldn’t do that. I’m like, this is the kind of stuff I love. I love it. Oh, it has nothing to do with age. I wouldn’t do this at 18.
I have more too, though. Like motorcycles. I do not like them. Hated a guy in high school that had one or I would not ride with him. Absolutely. I don’t even like looking at people on motorcycles that I don’t know. Yeah, but this is the thing I think, that when you have kids, you have to go outside your comfort zone. Yeah, I don’t like rides when I was young, they did, but they always scared me. But there have been times where my daughter is petite and not like I’m hunting her on big roller coasters, but stuff that I wouldn’t go on, I would go on because it was just me there, and if I was with my friends, and it was just moms and my husband couldn’t. And most recently, last summer, we went to Baja Mar and they have all those crazy slides. My kids through such a fit. They’re like, you have to go on. And they’re these huge you guys know what these water parks are like? And I’m like, I guys, I’m and then I’m like, trying to explain to them. I’m like, I’m fine about you guys doing it, but you have to respect the fact that I’m scared and they, like, wouldn’t stop. So I went on one of them, and it wasn’t that scary, because it was huge and big, but it didn’t have those big dips. It was, yeah, like, straight. It had a little lesson. It was way outside of what I normally would do. But it was nice, because I was like, okay, my kids are happy and we are all alive.
There are there’s a place called, like, the Great Wolf Lodge. I think they have them. We have them country. And, yeah, my daughter, her friend, did a little birthday thing. And so, like the mom said, Mom, the moms, when it was like, like, a big mom and daughter slumber party, and they have this water slide where you literally stand and the floor grabs out from under you. And maybe either moms would do it, but I did it, and it was, it’s that one was scary. I had to close my eyes The first time, and then I did a few more times. They have that at bahamar. I refused, yeah, but my husband did do it with the kids. My husband, like will go on everything. He is not like me, which is very helpful, because typically, if we’re at an amusement park or a border Park, we’re together, and my son is older and not at all scared, and so like, my husband will just go with my daughter, and then I get out of jail for free, yeah, but I don’t know. I do feel like age, though, has changed me a little bit. Like, I don’t like roller I used to love roller coasters. I don’t love them. I think you saw the picture or no, did I send you a picture of I was in Calgary, and they have one of those towers, and then at the top of the tower, they have a glass floor that you can go out on. And my son is like, full on, no fear doesn’t and it took me a minute I had to hold on to the wall, and because it’s very freaky to just have be literally looking down.
Do I would be scared, but I would do it because it’s not moving and like people are doing, it’s obviously safe. And engineer built it like I have a whole thought process of what prohibits me, like wakeboarding, it’s on me to stand up and not go under the engine, so I’m not doing that.
But something that’s like a legit building, I can do as long as it’s not moving, if it drops suddenly, yeah, no, yeah. That feeling, you know, that feeling when you’re on a roller coaster where your stomach goes down, I do my stomach, like, literally flipped when I went on that glass floor in that tower, it literally flipped over. And I was like, this is we.
Weird for me, because I’ve never had that problem. I’ve never felt weird about heights, and I’ve always been, like, fearless with stuff like that, but that definitely I don’t know heights in and of themselves. Don’t like, when we were in Paris, I was at the top of the Eiffel Tower, like, because I feel like it’s a state, it’s a safe, secure structure, so I’m okay with it, as long as it’s not, like, moving, flipping, shaking. Yeah, we’re gonna go zip lining in a few weeks on vacation. And I’m like, I’m excited about it, but I’m also like, apprehensive, because I’m like, I feel like there is a 30% chance that we get to the top, and somebody is like, Absolutely not.
And then I’ll be the one to go down with them, right? Sorry, we’ll see. Well, I’ll keep you posted on that, but so a few things just to share with the cocktailers quickly. So tonight, we are doing our first book club, which is super fun. So by the time you guys hear this, we’ll have already done it, but there’s a lot of excitement and a lot of chatter on Discord about it, so I think that’s super fun. I’m very excited. And I like this whole book club annex that we have created. Yeah, I love it. And then we got a sneak preview. And then cocktail or cocktail party members will get a sneak preview as well. But we are getting so close with merch I was explaining to be kind of part of the reason why it’s taking so long is we essentially have to build a whole separate e commerce website to so you’ll see also, Amanda has really researched. And this is like her baby, and she’s really researched, because one thing that listen, when I first had my my Instagram site, I had a short lived thing where I had merch from Shopify, but put it on Etsy, and what happened is I ordered some of the stuff myself, and the quality was like, just okay. And so I stopped doing it, because ultimately I’m like, I don’t want people buying stuff and having it shrink and everything like that. So Amanda and I, from the very beginning, said, like, when we do it, we’re gonna, like, really vet quality products, quality designs. Like, yeah, we we don’t just want to put anything out there just to sell. That’s not the purpose of it. It’s but for people who are part of our community and we’re proud of it, and I want to wear it, and since I’m anonymous, pretend that I just listened, but yeah, like, I want to wear it and feel like, proud of it. I don’t want to just have a chintzy t shirt with our logo on it and be like, Yeah, we have merch. Yeah. So there’s some, I think it’s we’re doing some stuff at a variety of price points, the hoodies are definitely going to be the most expensive. Buying a good hoodie, it’s just, you know, you’ve got to spend up a little bit for quality. And then we’ve got some cropped hoodies, and then regular, we’ve got a regular hoodie. So anyway, it’s been super fun doing this. Thank you guys for your patience with this, because it has essentially just been we’re building an entirely different website that will then it’ll still hook into the regular, our regular Bravo and cocktails.com website, but it’s running on its own framework, just to make sure that everything else runs very smoothly with cocktail party and all of that. It’s an ecosystem that we have to, we have to coddle along. So anyway, it’s going to be fun, and that’s coming very soon. Okay, so fun that we’ve had like other things to chat about, because it has been a little bit of a slow period on Bravo, there’s been because of the holiday week, because of the fourth Jersey wasn’t on, so we only had Dubai, and last night was Million Dollar Listing. La, which I forgot about. So when I went to put on Watch What Happens Live, I was like, oh, so I have to catch up on that, because I love Million Dollar Listing. I should watch it. I like Tracy Tudor a lot. So I like all of them. I love the Josh’s. I like Josh’s wife, Heather. I just think they’re really great TV. Yeah, I agree. There has been, though, off screen, quite a lot going on, and gotta get it to be again, because Lindsay finally announced that she was pregnant like I was on the fourth, right? It’s funny because Amanda and I recorded last week, on Wednesday, July 3. We typically record about the time she announced on Thursday, however, but July 4. So we’re like, you know what? Let’s do it the day before. So we did. I had kept saying and I posted it to stories, and I’m sure we said it on the pod. My prediction summerhouse started filming on Friday or Saturday. I predicted Lindsay would announce ahead of filming, I predicted it would involve a brand deal and a people exclusive. And it did. Yeah, I was personally a little surprised that it was.
On the fourth. I wasn’t expecting that once the week went like when we got to Wednesday and there was no announcement, I said, Ah, maybe she’ll announce it like the Monday after the holiday weekend or something like that. But she did it on the fourth, and I am thrilled for her. I am thrilled for her. I think she has been very transparent and open and honest, and we followed her journey. When she froze her eggs. Since we met her, she talked about wanting a family. So I am absolutely thrilled for her. Yeah, me too.

When Lindsay was telling the story of her pregnancy and the date that she found out was April 6. What was so crazy is like going back to look that intel that we got that she was pregnant came on 415 so literally, not even 10 days later. And then we teased in a post that cocktails know that there is a bombshell coming.
I was shocked when I saw how close it was. I said, from the very start, I just felt it was true based on the people who told me, Well, the person who told me, and then it was, it was confirmed by people we didn’t, I don’t know, pregnancy is always touchy, yeah, which is why we just said bombshell is coming, and we hinted. And as more time went and more confirmation came from sources, I was like, she is and then listen, Lindsay is a person who we have seen on television and for years, and she has always dressed in figure, tight, midriff, all this kind of stuff. So as soon as she was at that Kleinfeld thing and her she was, like, in a three piece Hillary Clinton’s but sexy suit, yeah, I was like, she’s pregnant, you know what I’m saying? And again, I’m thrilled for her. And it does become tricky, because, listen, you want to have the scoop, we are a gossip website. Okay? I am not gonna sit here and say that I don’t love and there, there is so much stuff that we hear, like little pieces that we don’t post. And many times it’s because I find it cruel, like even the Danielle summerhouse stuff I said it last week, or, I think on cocktail pod, like we got a lot of intel about her, and granted, I don’t think she’s particularly the nicest gal, but at a certain point it’s okay. I’m not going to post every email of everybody’s experience with her, because it does feel like there’s our integrity. Yeah, I will say, though. So the thing that did bug me a little bit is, I think it was in May when she came out and said, these rumors are crazy. I am not pregnant. To me, it’s I just to flat out lie, bending the truth. Absolutely everybody can forgive that, because people don’t want to announce until they’re ready to announce, but straight up saying I’m not and straight up lying and saying I’m not pregnant is odd, but Lindsay, I don’t. Lindsay is a very sorry guys. I’m adjusting my headphones because I don’t know why. She’s a she’s an interesting person, and she’s one of those people where I’m always conflicted, because there are things about her I really admire and respect. She’s almost like a Bethany personality.
She’s a lot, she’s intense, and she’s a lot, and a lot of parts of her are, like, super interesting, and she’s an interesting person. God knows she’s not boring. And I like that, and I respect that, yeah, yeah. But then there are pieces of her that are disingenuous, I think, is the word I’m looking for. She can tell not truths with a straight face, and we’ve seen her do it, yeah? So she’s one of the people where I don’t necessarily feel bad when I post stuff about her, because I always feel like she’s a person and I everyone. Yeah, of course, she’s in PR, but it’s beyond that, like she’s a person who’s in on it. She never messaged me, but not to talk about the bombshell. She never denied it to me. Everybody knows that we had the exclusive. Come on these P, these reality stars all know, because you know what. She likes being talked about, and she likes being relevant. And I love reality stars like that, because it works both ways, right? Yeah, I hate getting the messages where I’m being screamed at and whatever, because, yeah, they’re doing their job. We’re doing our job. It’s one hand washes the other, and when it’s good, it’s great, and when it’s bad, we’re awful, terrible people with no moral compass,
but we do, like, there are some things like that we are.
Are like, we have our rules about what we talk about, and one of those is that we don’t give people’s names or where they work if they are, we don’t show their picture if they are a private person. So for those people, so yesterday, I apparently it was out on Tiktok, which, of course, I see tick tock because you guys send me videos and I have an account there. I don’t really post on tick tock. Yeah, I don’t. I just have it basically as a placeholder, so nobody takes my cocktails and whatever impersonates me. But I made a story, and I just said, because so many of you were sending it to me, we knew who he was. I knew who he was a while ago. Out.
My parameters are always when a person is not a public person, I’m not going to post their government name, their alma mater, exact name their where they work, exact name. It’s my and Amanda’s. It’s terms that we’ve agreed upon with each other and what we’re comfortable with, yeah, every account, every blogger, every person, has their own whatever guidelines, and this is just what we’re comfortable with. And as a matter of fact, he was at a wedding with her, and the guy sitting next to her was on her Insta story. We all obviously assumed it was him. I snapshotted that and posted it. It was on her public social media account. Yeah. So my thing is, once she posts him, it’s fair game. So I posted that story, and as a matter of fact, Lindsay actually shared my story and said thank you to Bravo and cocktails and other bloggers who have respected my wish for him to be a private person. You know, there’s a fine line. And I of course, have people in my DMs being like, Oh, you’re like, Oh, you’re patting yourself on the back. I’m not patting myself on the back. I’m simply stating why I don’t do it. Right? There’s plenty of stuff I post that other people may be like, Wow, I can’t believe she posted. That’s fine. I’m okay with it. So, yeah, it’s it is what it is. And I actually appreciate Lindsay acknowledging that, yeah, agreed. And so, yeah, like you said, there’s plenty of people who did post it. I did see a picture of him, and he is very good looking by the list. You Yeah, more your speed than my speed. Let’s face it, I don’t know he’s a blog though he’s like, kind of blondish, I feel like, I don’t know, but like, the cocktails, know we we did share some information, some more general information painted a picture without giving any specifics. So we had originally heard that he was in finance. After the announcement, we got a little bit more information on who he was, so I wanted to share a couple of those posts. So the first one had said Lindsay’s New Man is a VP at JP Morgan, and now is a VP of a medicine and investment company out of NYC. He went to a private school. I took all the names out, by the way, guys. So this is what I mean about the details, because now you’re like, Oh, you’re reading this. I took so I had the investment company’s name, I had the school’s name. I took it out and just gave an idea of what it was, yeah, private school in Massachusetts for high school, quite the upgrade. Also, apparently a doctor who works in pharmacy. But then we got some more information. He went to a fancy private school for lower High School, which is $60,000 a year and only has an 18% acceptance rate comes from family money that’s prominent where he’s from. A big part of his reason for wanting to stay out of the public eye is some of the things about his family he’s worked, still works very hard to remain successful in his own right. So then a little more information. He went to one of the best medicine medical schools in the nation. He did not do a residency or ever practice medicine. He went straight to finance, definitely not a typical finance bro. Can you imagine going through how many years is med school like seven, five, I know that’s something more than five. Yeah, I know that, although I don’t know, because some of that is residency, so maybe five without residency? Yeah, I know I got my little like, you know, podcasting Medical Degree in much shorter time. But as I like to joke that my legal degree that I don’t have anyway very impressive to go all the way through medicine knowing you’re going to go into finance. He’s now at a pharma company, lives in New York City, is a nice guy and truly wants to keep a low profile. So I’m going to go out there and say he’s most definitely crushing love.
Life as Lindsay wanted. In the article she did with people, she said that they were not trying or planning. They were newly dating. It was very much a surprise. Some of the comments were wild, I think for me, and I think you too, Amanda, we know how important it is for Lindsay to have children, so I’m thrilled for her. The relationship’s new. I hope that it’s a happy, healthy one, and that they stay together. It’s a new relationship. They sound very different. Sometimes opposites attract, sometimes not so much. We’re women of a certain age, and we know that getting pregnant naturally is not the easiest thing, yeah, and as we get older, it becomes harder. So good on her. Yeah, because what is it? They’re at 35
you technically have what they call a geriatric pregnancy. So my second child was a Jerry, a quote, unquote geriatric pregnancy. Because I think I turned 35 during the pregnancy to such like an antiquated I know, I know it’s nuts, but yeah, she even laid out in her little timeline Mandy seasons ago she wanted and the baby was always on there. And something that I think is funny is I’m already imagining the editors taking this scene where she even said to Carl last summer that she might be pregnant this summer. So I can totally see them taking that and putting it back on this year’s footage as she’s talking about her pregnancy. I don’t know. I just think I believe in manifesting, and like often you might say, or you wish for something, you want something, and often it doesn’t turn out kind of the way that you plan. But sometimes it’s very different, but better baby with not with Carl, but like a whole different, you know, whole different relationship. So I I’m very curious how they are going to pull this off with her being such a public figure and him wanting to stay private. And not only does he want to remain private, he also comes from what it sounds like, right from the emails we got, a very buttoned up to do society type family.
I have to imagine it’s important to his family as well. Yeah, although we don’t know that it’s all just going off of stereotypes that I’m assuming that it’s just hard to picture old money Ivy League send our son to a fancy private school, folks embracing a reality television lifestyle with partying like it’s almost would be different if the show was showcasing her PR business. It’s like, legitimately a show about partying, and she is an influencer, which is great to me. I don’t know how that would be to like somebody who lives in Martha’s Vineyard and choppers in Yeah, Lindsay, if you’re listening, my advice to you is to use this last season is your swan song and make the best of it, but then take a page from tinsley’s book and embrace that private light. Nothing’s more important than your family, and I don’t know, I think it would be very difficult for her to continue to do reality television and not have it put a strain on her family when he does not want to be in the public eye. So I have to imagine even this week has put a strain on their relationship. Yeah,
I’m guessing so too, especially like honestly, already fine deal, and I hope him, yeah, and I hope that he acknowledges, like she’s certainly making an effort. She’s saying, Keep him private. He knew when he started dating her, that she was a public reality star. So Right? Like he’s not blameless in that. Yeah, absolutely. Speaking of summer house, you guys all know, they are filming right now, and Lindsay is apparently in the house with Carl, with the pregnancy and announcement being official. I mean, I think they’re ultimately going to be civil. He did not want to marry her. She’s having the baby that she’s always wanted. She says that she has a very healthy, happy relationship that she’s wanted. I see him more so pissed that she sat at the reunion pregnant and still played into the victim. Had her pay his he’s paying her rent as she’s carrying another man’s child that’s gonna burn a little, not from, I want her back way, but from, like, what the f way. The financial part of it. He paid all the wedding costs, half of their lease for all those months. So I think there’ll be a conversation around that. Certainly him and Kyle will have a conversation about that. Yeah, he was spotted on a date this week. Conveniently, it was on page six. I mean, listen, it may very well have been a date.
Eight, but I just distinctly remember Lindsay being called out for calling the paparazzi. And paparazzi don’t just hang around looking for a call Radke, sorry they don’t. If anything, a Bravo account like myself or somebody else would have been sent a picture of him on a date, and we would have posted it, but it being in Page Six, you called. Yeah. I agree. I think my my spidey senses pop right up when I see any kind of paparazzi pictures anymore, unless it is, like, at Craig’s in LA or like it’s Taylor Swift, yeah, pretty much like he’s not Taylor Swift. I don’t know. I am not invested in him. I feel like he’s a little bit snooze but
and I hear he’s like, hanging very closely with Jesse, and like he’s totally trying to hang on, but there’s no way he’s going to be on past this season, and that’s my passion. Yeah, I don’t think so either. But speaking of Jesse, who was a new newbie last year. We’ve gotten some intel on who the newbies in the house are this season. So we are hearing there’s, there might be a guy, but we haven’t gotten confirmation, but and we’re hearing there’s a guy filming, but we do know about two new girls, Lexi wood and Bailey Henderson. So Lexi is the one like, who’s, like, kind of blondish, super hot. Bailey is the one who has, like, long, dark hair, has like a very like sweet looks like, she’s just like a sweet person. But we got some, somebody said they look like Lala and Anne, the two pictures that I posted when I announced them, and I was like, oh my god, they really do. They do that’s actually, that’s exactly what she looks like. So Lexi, who is a quote, unquote, super hot one, apparently dated Brooklyn Beckham, and Cindy Crawford’s son, Drake. And then no Cindy Crawford’s son, I don’t even know his name. And then Drake, like the rapper, Oh, that’s right, I don’t remember Cindy Crawford’s son. Drake stated everybody, I think. And then a guy named Noah, who was on Bravo show workout, and I guess he also fumble founded rumble boxing, yeah. So this girl was very connected with hot celebs. There was an article in 2022
where her and with her and Cindy Crawford’s son, where he talks all about how in love he is with her, and she’s his favorite. I reposted that so we heard she was really vibing with Jesse all weekend, that everybody is thinking she’s so hot. I think the buzz is that she’s going to be introduced as Sierra’s modeling friend. I also heard from a follower that there was a lunch on Sunday, so cameras weren’t up. It was after when they leave the house, and it was her Jessie, I think Carl, because, like I said, Carl’s hanging on there and whatever, a group of, like, friends of theirs. They went out to lunch after filming. They were vibing, so at a minimum, these two are hooking up. That’s always cool to see how that marinates and plays out. Yeah, so I like it. I’d like to see Jesse dating and see how that what that looks like, because we know he’s hot and a big hookup guy, but to see him like dating in the house, we’ll totally get a different Jesse, for sure, and that’s when all the good drama happens.
I do have to say, I love hearing the like they went out for lunch with cameras off like that. There’s true friendships being formed and all of that early. Yes. Okay, so wanted to bring something up. I was actually just watching a bar stool clip about this earlier this morning, for those of you guys who also listen to giggly swad, which, by the way, I’m totally a giggler. We love, I love their podcasts. So Hannah, who had been on summer house, announced, because she’s got her comedy special came out. I think it was yesterday, today, the day before. No, I watched it. I think I either watched it yesterday the day before. It was so funny, you have to watch it. If you haven’t, oh, I’m definitely going to. So she’s doing like a press tour, and I have to say it to her, just good for her. She’s having such incredible success after being fired. She says, fired from summer house and on this press tour, and then again, on this, this bar stool, when she did their pod, she shared that the beef of what had what was really going on, that everyone thought was because of Luke was actually because she promoted truly Seltzer, which is a competing brand to Loverboy and Kyle.
Was pissed about it. So here’s the thing, it’s a lot. Okay, so Hannah’s last season, she had a really poor showing at the reunion, but she was also very much teamed up against, with the exception of Paige, who was also in her first or second season herself. So she wasn’t as outspoken as she is today, and I believe Sierra, who was not as outspoken, and a lot of the fans were like turned off by Hannah. What we didn’t know is we knew Kyle was very angry at her. We knew Amanda was angry at her. I think the audience really assumed that it was a because of Luke. Because the thing was, is she painted it? Luke was this terrible guy, but when she went into filming the next season, she was already speaking to her now husband, Dez. So their Point was, like you and Luke didn’t work out. Yes, maybe he wasn’t as nice as he could have been. Yes, maybe he, like, was a little bit of a player with you, but you, like, totally didn’t acknowledge that you were giving him this hard time, very Lindsay esque, actually, but yet you were dating your new guy, who you ultimately now are engaged to, and she’s married to him. So I see both sides, like I do think Luke was a jerk, and we’ve said it on here. And if you are a member of cocktail party, you know that there are reasons why Luke wasn’t asked back. It’s not that they just he was not asked back after winter house lines were crossed, whatever. He’s, in my opinion, not a great guy, and he certainly wasn’t a great guy to Hannah. So two things can be true. Yes, she was in a new relationship, but he also was a real dick, and led her on throughout covid, when everyone was home and whatever. Yeah, long story short, this whole news, and maybe some people knew, but Hannah never spoke on it, which is wild, because if Hannah at that time would have spoke on it, it spoke on it, we would have had like we know Kyle better now, and this is I find the timing very interesting. A part of me thinks that there’s a possibility that Hannah, out of respect for Paige, never spoke on it like at first, she felt like Kyle and Amanda were fan favorites, and at that time she wasn’t. So it wasn’t going to serve her. She I think she maneuvered very smart throughout this it wasn’t going to serve her to bad mouth them. So she never did, and she never said that the real reason Kyle was angry at her is because she did a promotion with truly Seltzer, and he was mad because what we have found out when he called Craig a liar and then when the a girl with no job, the spritz company people came out and they shared their experience with Kyle, And essentially what we learned from their pod is that Kyle, like very much, expects everyone in the house to drink it, and if they don’t, he has an issue. Like, you can’t drink a truly, you can’t drink a high noon, like, all this kind of stuff, which, on the one hand, makes sense, as far as I can understand him being like, drink it at the house. But if I get offered a deal with high noon as your cast member, and you don’t pay me to promote lover boy, then I can take the deal with high noon. I don’t have to sit in the house and drink. Okay? I drink when it’s timing interesting, because I think it was out of respect for Paige. But now it’s all coming out, and this is after he came for Craig. So maybe Hannah said to herself, you know what? Audience likes me right now? I’m on the up. He came for Craig. This is the perfect opportunity to let people know exactly how he operates. So she piggybacked on girl with no job and Craig’s situation.
Here is another theory. Could part of the reason that she feels like she can finally talk about this. Could it also be out of the reason she didn’t before was out of respect for Amanda and Paige’s close. Hannah and Paige are really close. I don’t think she and Amanda were Han or Hannah and Amanda were but out of also just respect through Paige for Amanda, if there really is trouble in the marriage, maybe she doesn’t feel like she’s got to keep that information secret anymore. That’s a good point, I think, in a general way, once Okay, I think it could be a combination of all of those things. I think the reason she didn’t say it at the time was because she felt like people would it would fall on deaf ears, because she wasn’t. So she built up her career, she built up her following, and now she has a very strong fan base. And so when she’s asked the question, and when Dave Portnoy says, Is it because you had a brand deal with another seltzer company? She can say, yeah, it is. That is one of the big reasons, because Kyle was mad at me. And Kyle has a lot of influence on the cast, and we know that to be true at that time, Kyle finds himself in a pickle right now because.
The cast has evolved. The OGS left are Lindsay, who is with child, no longer a fan of Kyle’s, and probably no longer on the show or not in a full time capacity because she has a baby, unless they change the format, whatever. I’m just going based off how it is, yeah. Carl witch, snooze fest, so it’s Danielle’s gone. It is Kyle and Carl. And if there really is trouble in paradise, Bravo picks Amanda, because it’s all her friends. I don’t know. And then I don’t know, I don’t that’s a bigger conversation, but I’m just saying this is a really bad look for Kyle. And if, yeah, he’s smart, he does not do what he did and come out and comment on it like he did with Craig. He should just let sleeping dogs lie and let people form their opinions. And because it, I don’t know, I just also feel like knowing how emotional Kyle is, all of this happening, the Craig thing, putting him in a bag light, the spritz thing with the girl with no job now, the Hannah burner in another big barstool interview, putting him in a bad light, whether he speaks on it publicly or not, it’s definitely going to affect him and probably his mood, and we’re probably going to see a pissy Kyle this season. Yeah, I think the whole Kyle and Craig beefing thing is definitely going to be a storyline. Because, of course, Craig will come up for a weekend, and I think Kyle better handle it with care, because he could really, I think, continue. Because, like, I think back about it too, and, like, I think about that season with Hannah, when they were in that other house in the Hamptons, and Kyle is absolutely screaming at her, full on, screaming at Hannah. And remember, if you know, like, why are people on Kyle’s side on this that is, I don’t, I just that’s not a nice look, just even that. So I think, I think he better watch his stuff this summer and handle things in a way that don’t dig him in a deeper hole. Are annoyed at him on for so many reasons. The whole DJ thing, people are annoyed about Sol. What is it? Solid, basic. DJ, yeah, this solid. DJ, we gotta make some merch out of this. It personally annoy me that much, and I’m gonna tell you why a lot of people are like he won’t let Amanda do her own thing. Amanda’s a grown woman. Amanda can do her own thing if Amanda wants to. So that doesn’t him wanting to be a DJ and going and being a DJ doesn’t bother me, no, because if Amanda wants to make a swimsuit, she’s got connections, she would. She could do all that for with or without Kyle time. I totally agree. I
B going off like our usual, Bravo bullshit, because it’s been a little quieter. B and I took a little time to binge watch owning Manhattan, which is on Netflix, and it is Ryan serhant, who used to be on Million Dollar Listing New York. Yeah, it’s been, I don’t know, it came out like two, three weeks ago. So if you guys aren’t watching it, definitely give it a try. It’s very entertaining. I think let’s talk through, like, some of the What are you thinking? B Oh, my God. I have so many comments. I love Tricia Lee, the queen of Brooklyn. I love that we watched her talking about wanting to grow, wanting to get into Manhattan. And the season. Throughout the season, we see her do that. Jess t does she not look like a young Caroline Stanberry, a little bit, and like her mannerisms and everything. Yeah, she’s, she’s British, very pretty. Yes, she does, now that you say that, she definitely does remind me of Caroline. My thought, I don’t know, back in the spring, I remember you’re like, Okay, buying Beverly Hills is on. It looks like there’s some stuff coming up with Kyle, we should watch this. So I did, and I’m sorry, Mauricio, but I’d had to force myself to watch it. I I did too, and like I just was worried that this show would be another show, because I’m also not a big what is it called Real Estate selling Beverly Hills, or what’s the one with the selling OC the twins, the twins, as Heather McDonald calls them, yeah, like that show bugs me. I get a little over it, but so I was like, I was a little worried that this should be like that, and it’s so not. I think Ryan serhant is. He is very charming, very witty. I really like seeing the way that he works with his team. I think his agents are actually all really interesting in the I’m curious to hear what you think about this, but I feel like the situations don’t seem as set up to me as they do on some of these other shows. And of course, like seeing some of this beautiful.
New York City Real Estate. I love how they’ll like in between. They’ll show them like they’ll show on the map, where the what neighborhood, yeah, they’re in. I think that is super cool. I think cocktails. I think you guys are gonna really like the show. Because it really surprised me how much I like it. I forgot how much I love Ryan serhant. First of all, I think he is so attractive, like he’s got this perfectly pretty face, which I love, and he’s so smart, like he could have been successful at anything. He’s just such a smart, hardworking guy. Yeah, some of the things about the season that So Jonathan, you guys have to watch, but if you didn’t watch, Jonathan is this very attractive guy from Denmark, because he from Denmark, so yeah, and it’s kind of like this red accent, because it sounds like an American accent, but then there’s this like inflection, yeah? And he’s got tattoos all over him, very good looking. His neck, yeah, like his chin, yeah, has a menacing look to him. And he is a menace. But hot, really odd. He was a model. So him this rap boy, summer thing that keeps going around like he is yes boy, but Hot Rap boy, yes. And then so him and Jess M So sir, hey, also a model, don’t care for her, don’t like her personality, beauty, but whatever. So Sirhan has this in his office. He has a podcast studio where, like the brokers, because what’s interesting about this is they very much say, like, social media is a huge vehicle for us. All of these avenues that influencers use, like these are like realtors, who are influencers, right? Their followings help them get listings, and they promote and all these things. So they sometimes hop in and do podcasts. So Jonathan and Jess M do a podcast bashing people at the firm, specifically this young, new green right? She’s new to real estate. Girl Savannah and Jonathan just he has this toxic energy, but at first, because he’s so hot and, like, mysterious, it’s intriguing. Podcast was immediate. Ick, immediate ick, yeah, I am not a fan for kind of a different reason, like, I agree with you on everything you said. I think he has a very cool look like, I think he’s, I totally understand. He’s got a very like editorial magazine model. But I think, can I just say one thing, yeah, don’t you always wonder people like that’s not going to age well, ah, I’m trying to think of somebody who has aged quite a bit with tattoos all the way, oh, that’s, oh, that’s tattoo thing, yes, yeah, I don’t know. I don’t think so that’s my cool thing with tattoos. My personal thing, I love tattoos for other people. I’m just so scared that if I get anything that I’m not gonna like it in 10 years. And so, you will,
I don’t know that’s why, because I’m like, I literally will chase a waiter down so tell them I changed my mind about when I ordered for dinner. Right? Me, too, I have one tattoo that’s awful. It looks like a jail tat. It’s a long story. We’ll get into another time. Oh, my God, I think you might have to tell that story on cocktail good. I Yeah, I do think I am gonna get a tattoo at some point in my life. I just, I still have it settled on something okay. But back to Jonathan. This happened a little bit before the podcast, and this is when I really got turned off by him. It is a huge ick for me when a person, especially a man, takes credit for things that were a team effort. Like he goes around saying that he sold $100 million in real estate the year before. But that’s not true. His team sold $100 million in real estate, and that he is going around saying that was me, like, That’s gross, 100% agree. What do you think of Chloe? Chloe is a boss, so at first I was turned off when she had that spat with Jade. So Jade is her longtime close friend, and when Jade shares that her husband cheated on her, Chloe somehow made it about herself. I found that very off putting. But then we see Savannah, who is new and looking for help and to learn the real estate world. And Chloe takes her under her wing. She redeemed. Chloe redeemed herself for me in a lot of ways, with that. When she stood up to Jess, she stood up to Jess and Jonathan, oh no, not Jonathan, but Jess, at one of her listings, she for bad mouthing Savannah on the pod. So I really like Chloe. I think Chloe is like, she’s a complicated person, which makes her interesting. And she has things about her that I’m like, Okay, you’re too much about yourself. But then you see her really supporting, like younger brokers, female just starting, and I’m like, okay, she supports women so that, like, I like her. Yeah, I agree. I enjoy her.
I think she is spunky. She seems like one of those people who does and has put her career first, and I’m guessing, has probably lost some friends because of it, because she has this kind of hard shell and is almost too defensive about what a good friend she is, but I don’t know she’s definitely one. I rooting for her. I just, in a general way, I think that Ryan is what makes the show a hit, the way he weaves the story so well he so I thought he was gonna fire Jonathan this moment. This isn’t when he fired him, but he gave him a talking to and they show him in this empty, new development that he’s been hired to sell, like the whole building, and he tells the story of his first big deal, which was $22 million and he was just so interested in getting the price. And he got the price, and he didn’t really check the guy’s financials. And the contract had the guy tied in for $4 million turns out the guy could not pay for it. When the property was ready, two years later, he met with the guy, and the guy basically threatened his life and was like, I put people under the Brooklyn Bridge, so you better get me out of that contract. And Ryan says that’s when he learned that when people first have success is when they get sloppy, and then Jonathan walks in, like, it’s really it was like cinema, like, it’s really well done. But he so then he gives Jonathan another shot, and then you see Jonathan having this bizarre showing, which I wouldn’t say he was high, I would he’s just gonna ask if you think he was maybe on something he seemed off. Yeah, yeah. But what got him fired was you watch Ryan call him and say, Listen, this is a $9 million deal. The buyers want the furniture. Just take them there to get pictures at 6pm don’t mention what the furniture costs. It doesn’t matter. I’m going to close that part of the deal. Then he finds out from the buyer’s broker. The buyers walked away because they were insulted, because Jonathan tells them, you probably can’t even afford this couch. And they were like, we’re not doing business with Sirhan.
Is some of and then, of course, people are saying, Oh, I heard that. This isn’t exactly accurate. Yes, of course they have to make stories and embellish and all these things. But it’s really well done. And you see the most amazing properties, as a matter of fact, in the last episode, he gets the deal for the entire building, but specifically the unit that Bobby Axelrod lived in. Billions, I don’t know if you watched billions, which was incredible penthouse, and it’s selling for 38 million so like you just get to see he has another listing. It’s a $50 million penthouse, guys, and he says to his team, Whoever sells this, whoever brings me a buyer, gets ten million I swear to God, Amanda, a part of me was like, Maybe I should call him. Maybe I should work for him. I know I live in New York. I have a social media following. I’m pushy. I might do it, guys, I may be working for Ryan serhant, next, that’s so funny that you say that, because I have always been really interested in doing real estate, I had a license. Fascinating. Do you really you did when I was in college, I worked for an appraisal company, and she also sometimes got listings. So one summer, I got my license. It’s like, it’s very easy to get your license, but I ended up getting my master’s going into my career, and I didn’t keep up with it. Yeah? But yeah, I would, I always say, like, when I retire, I wanted to get into real estate, because I just, I find it so interesting. It’s a hard listen. It’s a hard way to earn a living, if it’s your main source of income, yeah, because it could be a lot of waste, like when you’re building, you go to open houses, or you show and then it sells, and you’re not the person who showed it, and you get $0.00
for your time and efforts, advertising and all that. It’s not easy. No, it definitely is not easy, but it’s fascinating. I am. So one of those people, when I see an open house, I stop and go in just because I love, I love staying out and yeah, and I love driving around neighborhoods and like finding streets that I’d never seen before. And yeah, so I know that’s and I know that the real, the real life of a real estate agent, it’s a lot of relationship building, and it’s a lot of pushing yourself to go to those social events, even when you don’t want to, because you never know when you’re going to meet a new client. So I know that it’s a ton of hard work, but it just looks like a lot of fun, too. 100%

La, a lot of you guys are asking me Million Dollar Listing New York, I heard it’s not it’s not coming back anytime soon. They’re not currently filming. Obviously Ryan won’t be on it. Miami. Now I don’t know, so he’s not on it. That wacko Lewis has all those weird allegations from his baby mama. I don’t even think he does real estate. And now we have Sirhan. So I don’t know if we need Million Dollar Listing New York. Certainly there’s enough realtors to make another show. Yeah, it is Thursday morning. OC comes out tonight. That is why we don’t worry, guys, you will be OCD out right next week, because I’m sure we’re going to be doing a lot of discussions on good old drunken Shannon bedor.
I yeah, I think it’s I look forward to us having our reactions and discussing what we think about that first episode, because we’ve heard, yeah, that she really gets it, and that it’s really all about the DUI that whole first episode. So I’m gonna get it, and I hope Karen hugar gets it. There are very few things I feel like I pass judgment on adults. Drinking and driving is something that I had zero tolerance or patience for. I agree. And don’t you think I was thinking about this, just thinking about the show coming out tonight, I feel like Karen’s the blowback on Karen has been minimal compared to what the blowback on Shannon had been she doesn’t have a camera. Yeah, that’s true. I feel like, I mean, Aaron had Zello. They’re not gonna let that go well on camera. But she hasn’t spoke out in the media. She’s not tweeting funny anecdotals about it, yeah, yeah. That’s true. Which leads you to believe what? What is she hiding?
