B tells us about going to see Craig and Austen at Pillows and Beer – and meeting Austen and Craig. We have some exclusive tea about Monica from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. Seems like there are a lot more skeletons in her closet than she led us to think. Is Real Housewives of New Orleans (RONO, as Amanda coins it) going to be coming to our screens? And who are we hearing might be cast in it? Andy, please say it ain’t so that some of our favorite shows are going on pause for – THE ENTIRE YEAR of 2024 – we are crying. And not the laughing crying. What’s up cocktail hours. Hi, baby. Hi, back Taylor’s a very Hey, so. Oh my god, I hear you. I think I got we got the similar weather with snow and ice and almost fell completely on my butt yesterday, by the way, because like, unless you’re wearing like, you know your cute boots that you had when we are in New York. I feel like you’re falling on I’m calling on everything because there’s ice and just water and melting crap everywhere. Well, first of all, I’m not even wearing those because I’m such an old lady and I’m so scared of falling because I’m like, I don’t know. Am I at like a break a hip age? It’s hard to know what when that starts. So I’m wearing circles I’m sure you know what circles are love my circle. I actually need a new pair minor so so beat up should beat up my hand me downs because it really doesn’t snow that often in New York and my friend was like, I’m getting a new pair because she commutes to the city and she’s just fancy and whatever. But I haven’t worn any other shoe like, like from now until the spring I’ll probably just wear them. I hear you and yeah, I gotta I gotta agree with you the traction. It’s about I was going out last night. So I didn’t want to wear my snow boots and like I literally slept, grabbed my car. And like, Thanks, God. For me not cracking my head open. So stay safe out there peeps, especially if you’re trying to be fashionable, like another tie. Like last week were high heels. Even though I knew better, I frickin knew better. And like, luckily, like, had a hand on me like helping me in and out of the event that we went to but still like the things we do for fashion. I really should have put the stilettos away. Okay, so I’ve been dying to talk to you about this. We have purposely not talked about it yet. We’ve got to talk about what you did last weekend. Going to see pillows and beer live. So we had the best time I went with Ali Bravo afterthoughts, who’s been on our show a couple times. Of course, our boy Larry from Bravo by gays who’s been on a bunch and then Larry’s friend Christina. And I brought my husband because you know, I needed my security detail.
And we went to dinner at the carriage house.
Austin and Craig are investors in the restaurant along with a celebrity chef Jordan and Dino. He’s has a Netflix show. And he’s been on like, Food Network things, that kind of stuff. The place super cool, great service. The food was delicious. We’re sitting there and I say to my husband, I bet you everybody here right now is going to pillows and beer. And he’s like, Yeah, okay. I don’t think people are as dialed as in, in as you are. Not 30 seconds later. Do we hear? Oh, my god, is that Bravo by gaze? So Larry.
Yeah, so Larry gets spotted. And these girls come over and now I’m like, play cool, right? Because you want to smile, but I’m like, if I talk your kids if they know Larry, there’s very good chance they know my account. Right? So I just smile and kind of like nod and but they’re they were so enthralled. First of all, Amanda, go into a Bravo vent. And I knew this from Bravo Con last year when it was in New York, but like his account has grown so much like he is an A Bravo icon. Here. People were following us like, Oh, my God, bravo. And he’s so tall in person, which is something you probably don’t realize, because so I was shocked. Because when I met him at Bravo con, we had known each other for so long, and we’ve done zooms and this kind of thing, but I don’t know you can’t tell how tall he’s at least six one. Yeah. So he’s really tall and like, you know, built so he’s like a big guy. So it’s like, be with a celebrity. So nobody’s nobody suspected me. So we get we get in the Uber. And we take the Uber to the show, we’re getting out of the Uber. And he’s like, Okay, we’re going to the VIP section. So now my husband looks at me, right? He’s like, What do you want to do? Like, because it was general admission, there was no assigned seats. Right? So I’m like, well, let’s see what it’s like. Right, like, so we get in. And the VIP section was actually better because it was like, high tops, and like a bunch. So it was us. Me ally, Larry, Larry’s friend, Christina, my husband, and then Austin sister and a bunch of her friends. So it was great, because I wasn’t sitting next to somebody where maybe they could have heard my voice so dark. You really couldn’t see anyone. So I felt very safe there. Yes. Good. So show was great. Andy was the guest. I saw the pictures. That’s so opposite almost them. And everyone’s like, was there any tea? Was there any scoop? You know, I’m so bad at these sorts of things. Because you know, me, I’m having my drinks and I really was just enjoying the moment I didn’t even take pic because I wasn’t gonna post in real time anyway. So yeah, he’d said a couple funny things. He was like, oh, Sutton invited me to something and she said, there will be some people I knew. And I said, and the whole audience goes name on me it was you know what it is to it’s so fun to be at a Bravo event because everybody gets it. Everybody you know, is on the same page. It’s like private jokes to write between like a like a dialed in audience. Yeah. And meantime, my husband sitting there like he was literally like, just scrolling his phone the whole time.
Oh, isn’t it he didn’t listen. Tonight without the kids. It was basically like being in a bar. And him having to watch a Bravo show. So how many times have you I’ve gone to a bar with him to watch a sporting event. I don’t care about for reals. So and there’s more details. We’ll do that on the cocktail pot because I don’t know if everyone’s into it. But I did meet them. I met Craig I met Austin a hook. I can’t wait to hear you guys. I haven’t I purposely haven’t been asking her about this because I wanted to save it. We wanted to save it for the pod. But so B sent me pictures the next morning, and my text response was just like I needed some time to properly process it well, so they were so great and great. But my husband gets the paranoid he’s like, you can’t really stand that a line like people could hear you. So I was like, that’s true. Also, I wasn’t so much worried about people hearing me as when I walked over if I were to tell them and there was like a line of people behind me. Right? Their reaction would be like, like, I mean crying and also like Bravo and cocktails and then anyone there could just snap a picture and then my face is out there. Which I know people think Listen, don’t mistake me. I don’t believe I’m Cher. It’s just a matter of like not being comfortable with it because of my kids. That’s really what it’s about for me at that at this point in my life, you know, yeah, first year and like there’s just there’s so yeah, I want to obviously 100% get it but I will say guys be did meet them in person as you just said. And there’s there is a picture, and I am still giggling about the look on Austin’s face in that picture. While I have Okay, so what did I tell everybody? I’m gonna tell everybody because you. Let’s see Oh, no, I think we should save it because it is good. Yeah, we’ll save it. Just that’s that’s a great reason for you guys to join cocktail party Shameless, Shameless plug
Okay, so let’s talk some about the Salt Lake City reunion. Like what? Like, tell me tell me what you thought about this one. I guess we have to start with Mary. Okay, in small doses. I’m somebody who gets the comedic relief of it all. But at the reunion and it reminded me of her Watch What Happens Live. Because when she’s in a scene and it’s just her making a comment, you can court you can sort of forget about how sort of twisted she is to be honest. But at the reunion, she was so delusional. How was it worse? To make a comment for Heather to comment on her home decor than it is for her to call Heather an inbred? Yes, agreed. Ruthless, but she doesn’t get it. And it’s almost like she comes from the Judy che School of reasoning where even worse, I think it’s the fact that now she’s siding with Monica is funny, because she doesn’t even really know Monica, because she didn’t film that much this season. It’s obvious that she’s wanting to secure a spot on the show. I think that she’ll hate Monica within like, a day of filming with her. But also she needs money. Her cult that she ran is no longer functioning. And we have gotten emails, which we posted a while back about financial issues, which is a surprise to nobody.
Yeah, I thought it was bizarre what she was saying about her son and his sexualized.
Yeah, that whole scene just was so weird. It was so weird. It was it’s yeah, it’s just weird. And I don’t know, I can’t say that. I don’t like when she pops in here and there because, and also the ladies don’t really go in on her. I think it’s almost like they know that they’re dealing with somebody without a full deck. And it isn’t fair. That’s an interesting take i interesting, because do you think that’s the case? I feel like she is fully with it and just doesn’t give a crap about anybody but herself. Yeah, like a total narcissist. Like even what she said about her son. I mean, I don’t think he’s dealing with a full day. Well, I mean, he. And also somebody pointed out online that Andy didn’t bring up. He has been arrested. He was posting about doing drugs and all this kind of stuff. And he didn’t bring that up at all. It just Yeah. Feels like they treat her with kid gloves. Yeah, definitely. Andy did call her out for, you know, the inbred comment. And for like some of the things that she says, but it was a softball. I completely agree. Like he’s, he was definitely treating her with Cadillac cars, at least from what we saw. I do feel like the cast was more honest about Mary’s role than I’ve ever seen them be like, I think until now, they were very much like, she used, you know,
just like the rest of us now. They’re like, Oh, Mary’s different. And she’s there for Comic Relief, and like, kind of owning up to release a code to her to like Lisa a little bit, gave it back, because she’s kind of like, whatever. I mean, at a certain point, it’s like, I have to put myself out there. And you could just get away with saying what you want and being kooky and still earning a check. You know, it’s, yeah, yeah, I can. I don’t know why I could never get it out of my head. Every time I see her a mic. So your house fell down the mountain and it changed your view. And we’re still living in the house. Okay. Like,
all right. That’s I just said it’s one of those things. I can just never get past it with her. Well, so where’s my husband? Well, I mean, I wonder if we’ll be seeing more of him if when we get to some of the other tea about her. I wonder if we’ll be seeing more. But I want to talk about the bottom of it all because that’s clearly what the focus of all of the pretty much the reunion has been so far. So let me read this email because this is some guys this is some exclusive tea that we have for you from SLC subject somewhere about her. This is going to be a long one. Monica has committed several crimes. She’s had multiple affairs, and she’s contacted the authorities on Jen Shaw, though I’m sure they were already investigating Jen. When Season One premiered, she said watch me. I’m going to be on this show someday. In October 2020, Monica started quote unquote, working for Jen. The only payment Monica ever see from her was $2,500. So her car wouldn’t be repossessed, an Apple Watch and a fake Louis Vuitton bag and then the email says in parentheses she asked me for the 2500 and I told her no because I had lent her money in the past and she hadn’t paid me back my
I saw Jen as a stepping stone for her career. I remember having dinner with Monica and she told me about being hired on with Jen and all. And by the way, hired on was in parentheses or in quotes, with Jen and all of the NDAs that she had to sign. Monica only knew Angie through Jen when they filmed the WAPP video WAP video. It says in parentheses look this up on YouTube. Monaco’s dream has always been to be a TV star. She idolizes Kim K. Listen to her voice, she tries to mimic her. Monica talks about being open and honest, but she’s only open and honest about certain things. She only talks about the one affair with Jared, and doesn’t mention the other three she had. I also know her mom very well, and their relationship on TV is exactly how it is in real life. At the end of her relationship with Jen, she wanted to do anything she could to make a name for herself and she willingly contacted the authorities to let them know what information she had against Jett Monica had a plan this whole time and email from anonymous source person and then anonymous partner was set up. This was a very long email and there was something else I think that was in this unless it was another about I think she set up Jen Shahs security cameras or something I don’t know and then use that against her. Here’s the thing. I have zero sympathy for Monica. Look, I don’t even fault her for wanting to be on the show. All of these women want to be on the show. Many have would go to great lengths to get on housewives. That isn’t even my issue.
I don’t like how she does all of these things, and then tries to gain sympathy regarding her mom. Yeah, I’m not saying her mom isn’t crazier isn’t whatever. I just the way that she goes back at the women. She’s just not night epic. There’s nothing about her that I except for her looks. I don’t find her entertaining to watch. I think that in this situation. At first, she was entertaining. I think obviously we got the finale out of her going forward. I don’t know what she would bring because you can be somebody who is how she is aggressive at a reunion and does things but there has to be an element that makes you want to watch the person whether it’s like hate watch or they have endearing qualities or something about them is interesting. I don’t I personally don’t find her to have any of those things other than like a pretty nice and a nice figure. Which isn’t enough for him to tune in like it’s I’m not you know, I’m not attracted to him in that day. If she were in a porn, I could see people wanting to tune in but on a reality show i She doesn’t have it for me at all. Ding ding ding. I gotta I I have to say I couldn’t agree with you more on the point. I am just gonna say it. I think she is a sociopath. Like I don’t think there is anything that she wouldn’t do for her own personal gain, no matter the collateral damage with any of the people in her life. And that is
exactly what makes me not want to watch her anymore either because you know exactly what you said. But I also feel like too, like if you’ve ever read any of those books where there’s like, it’s like being narrated by a person or a Girl on a Train is the one that comes to mind. And then like, without giving too much away at the very end, you realize that the narrator was like not telling you the truth, the whole entire book. And like that, to me is Monica Right? Like she you just can’t rely on anything she does or says, which just makes me I have no interest in watching that like it’s it. There’s, there’s nothing redeeming to me about that, you know, we see the women be fake to each other all the time. Right. But this is a whole different level, right? Like they we see things that we love, like you know, Lisa Barlow, not her biggest fan, but I enjoy watching her. I mean, she’s, she’s a little batshit. She’s very into herself. She is very uniquely Lisa, Lisa Barlow, which makes her even though she’s not my favorite, like she’s still felt like I really enjoy it. I do enjoy watching. Yeah. And I’m not I just don’t see it with Monica. Lisa Barra also has her Vita brand. And she, you know, we watched her do Sundance and she has these. She’s got a husband. She has a son this season who was going on a Mormon mission. There are layers to her. Yeah. Yeah. First of all, I also like I feel so bad for Monica’s daughter’s, because based on what we’ve seen, and the impression we have of her, I just can’t imagine that they have it easy. I don’t like and I don’t think her mom’s a nice lady. And I believe that her mom went to try to be an actress and I believe all of that, but like, I don’t want to watch it. I just she just doesn’t interest me. Yeah. So knowing that now we’re looking at this cast. And as I’m like, thinking of the reunion and thinking of like, what I wanted to recap and who’s friends on this cast? I had the exact same question for you. I mean, I don’t feel like there isn’t merit Italy star no longer friends. Period. End of story. We’ve we beat that to a pulp. They can be some Yes. Heather and Whitney, same deal. Mary isn’t friends with anybody. I actually kind of find it weird. We’re married. It’s like, Yes, I love you. And I’m like, Lido. I don’t know. Whatever. Monica. Clearly nobody. The Heather and Meredith. I feel like it’s more of an alliance and a real true friendship. I like Angie Kay, and I hate but again, she’s not really friends with anybody. I kind of like her and Heather. And what I think’s interesting about her and Heather is even though they’re not friends, they have a true history, they went to the same high school. And you could always see when there are layers to when there’s like a real connection. So I could see them that those are the only two that I could see forming a bond because there’s something about having a history with somebody, even if it’s an acquaintance. Like I know myself, I live in the area I grew up in, and you know how it is many people move in whatever. And the moms that are in the same school that my kids go to, even if we weren’t good friends when we were growing up. If we knew each other, there’s sort of a natural you know what I mean? We know each other, we know that. There’s, there’s that meme going around right now. There’s like, it’s like, you know, shout out to that person. You know, who barely knew each other in high school, but were weirdly supportive each of each other on social media. 2020 years. Yeah. Right. Like, yeah, and there’s also like a car didn’t knowing like, whether I knew the person or not, I know that they’re a nice person. I know what their home was like. And like, if my kid wants to go there for play date, or carpooling with them, it’s just like, You know what I’m saying yet, it may be better. It does. It’s like a shorthand right? Because you you have that shared history even if it’s not a lot of shared history, you still have it. I will also say like I I came out of it, my mind was changed a little bit after seeing some more of the footage of the whole Whitney and Lisa fight Meredith jewel event that it was the day after or the I think it was the day after Whitney’s best friend died. And like seeing some more of the footage actually made me change my mind about the way that Lisa handled it, because actually Lisa did say Are you okay? And well that’s the other day Yeah, it always does. Whitney always tries to capitalize on nothing and there are a lot of housewives right do it like Oh, yeah. And like, you know, would you ever use going whatever she said to Heather use you exploited by vagina, like, come on. She wants that to be a meme. It is so trihard and I don’t know total
sidenote what her and Lindsey Hubbard are doing because they’re always posting these pictures together. Are they trying to get some sort of spin off together? I don’t know. But I’m suspicious of both of them. And yeah, well they did is they spent a bunch of time together in New York. And then like, some of the stuff that we’re seeing is like, pictures from that trip, have like, you know, their promo and jewelry and stuff. It’s almost like to see that can be a promo. So it could be a paid sponsorship, whatever. But it also could be like, cross promoting how people do with podcasts like, Oh, I’ll share Lindsay in the summer, have the, you know, Salt Lake City fans will follow her and she shares me in the summer house fans will follow me It’s so cheesy to me. Or Jason and Giselle. And like, I mean, it’s It feels very strategic to me as well. But I don’t know, I actually, like gotta give, like, a shout out to Lisa Barlow, because I think what she did was the appropriate thing was she was like, Are you okay, and you see, Whitney give us like, imperceptible shake of her head, which I would have read as like, I can’t talk about it right now. And I have I have an currently have friends who are going through enough right now that like, I wouldn’t bring it up, you know, other than like, are you okay? You don’t last night we launch into this whole deep conversation and like how you know, because people want to keep it together in social circles. I think that was totally our land. I think that this whole season has been about Whitney and Heather both highlighted how self centered Lisa was not that Lisa isn’t and then Whitney planned to do that because Whitney knew that at least his personality would like ask her quietly or whatever it like you know what I’m saying? And she just what
I’m Yeah, I don’t know. I feel like I got a little different perspective once we saw more footage around that so because it really did was edited to make it look very much like Lisa didn’t really do anything and and just, you know, flitted right into the edit and like just everything was okay and I don’t think she actually did it that way. True. So let’s read the email that we got about season five Salt Lake City. Okay, from center snowflake subject the future for Salt Lake City season five. Okay, beginning email. Salt Lake City five will film in February similar filming schedule to seasons two to four which will film until the end of May. despite all odds Monica will be returning. There’s apparently many more layers to what was exposed production also once Heather to film with Tanisha. So we remember her she’s a hairdresser. koa who we also remember was the fashion designer who did a lot of stuff for Jen and others from that situation, but I don’t think they’ll be going ahead with it. So that season five can have fresh storylines. They’ll be making marry a full time housewife again, and there is a newbie who is Indian and a Hindu because they want salt lake city to be the religion franchise. Unclear that it is an Indian housewife or a Hindu housewife. But this is one angle I have heard of and parentheses. Also dot dot dot, take it with a grain of salt but they might call back Dan is it Dana? Dana or Danna? Dana. I thought so too. So my first thought is that I certainly don’t think that they want to get Tanisha and cola and and rehash a Gen SHA storyline from now what, five, six years ago? I think that’s ridiculous. I think that’s got to be like a Plan D. If it’s really tanking, they’ll do something like that. I think that Dana was friends with I don’t remember who but they have to bring on somebody where we can have some cohesion. I don’t believe Angie, h would want to come back just based on hearing her on Heather MacDonald’s pod. And yeah, but I could be wrong. And you never know things change year to year. So she may be in a position now where she wants to go back on.
Or just as a friend of because I think part of what she was saying is like her family is just not integrated. I you know, this has been now we have a situation where that last episode, the finale was great. It was drama. We’re going to watch a season of them try to recreate that. And I just don’t know how it’s going to shake out. Yeah, I’m struggling on this one. I agree with you. Mary is a full time housewife. I mean, will that mean that we get to see the step husband? I think he would be like watching paint dry to me. I don’t know. We’ll see. But I mean, if they’re really filming soon, maybe what they’ll do too, is just throw a bunch of other people in there and kind of see, see how it goes. I would really like to see MGK I enjoyed what the the season. I always enjoy. Heather would love to just see somebody else’s else from Heather’s life like purposes partner may be or somebody else like that who’ve who is a little bit more organic. Yes, kind of read that. It’s kind of what I’m thinking like, why can’t we get something like that? Why can’t we get Heather has a business partner who owns beauty lab, those two things we need? And I don’t think that I don’t think that only Heather should have that. Right? I think that we need to have a couple of those. Why don’t we get Lisa, why don’t we get somebody that works? But uh, but not not an assistant. Right? So like if they asked me on a show, get you on it not not you know, somebody who helps me like get get an actual peer or partner or friend. I just rain more connection and I get the religion piece of it. I did think it was very interesting because I know you studied Mormonism when Mary called Whitney completely out of nowhere. A racist. And then somebody turned around, maybe it was Heather and said, well, Mormonism is rooted in racism. I mean, I don’t move. I don’t even know. I don’t even know about that specific, like, the books that I’ve read about it. I haven’t. So I can’t say if if it is or not. But it has been a very predominantly white blond hair, you know, like they are. But now there’s I think there had been at some point, a push to bring people of all shapes and sizes into the religion. But I think originally it was very, but I don’t I don’t think that that necessarily means it was racist. I can’t right. I can’t really comment on that. And I don’t think that just because, and they had the load the cast, because if your intention is to bring Mary on full time, that’s great until she refuses to fail him and the same thing happens again. So yeah, yeah. Yeah, I don’t know. I think Angie can give us a lot. I think her salon can give us a lot. I think she’s got to have a manager, she’s got to have somebody other than her and her husband, who maybe obviously she’s the owner of the salons, but it’s still like, not just her sister who’s just gonna nod and smile because you can’t cast somebody like that, right? It needs to be like more equal footing, right? So obviously, it’s part of the sister right here a cousin or somebody like that would be very interesting to me as well. So hopefully the producers are listening because what I don’t want to happen is what we are hearing is happening with some other shows which I don’t even really want to talk about this topic because I don’t want to put it out there. Maybe we have obviously on the website and everything but it’s making me worry because we have had such a wealth of content to watch as Bravo fans lately like you and I have talked about like some some weeks it’s hard to keep keep up I haven’t even started southern Hospital.

It does remind me a little bit of early days of VPR I’m liking I was liking this season a little bit better actually. But so there’s been a lot of chatter about some shows going on pause for the entire year of 2024 So we first heard winter house which would not surprise me. I think it’s getting a little formulaic then we heard about some housewife shows which I wouldn’t even it just said not airing in 2024 Which doesn’t mean it’s not he’ll know in 2024 I know. Okay, so here’s the list but like this will be sad if there’s none of these shows this year at Liana toMac, which Potomac is technically airing this year so that would but no, I guess what it would be is no new content starting in December whenever this season of Potomac did. And Beverly Hills no Beverly Hills No, no new Beverly Hills this year two is what we have been told they are going on pause to figure out future cat like just the future of the show. As well as casting and that if they begin filming the seasons won’t air until 2025. If this is true, I’m crying. So something is going on with Atlanta. We have been talking about it nonstop forever. Yeah, my source told me months ago and I told you guys that Atlanta is getting a full new cast since then. I’ve shared the emails, emails are not sources. Gucci means wife who would take care. Keisha, I think her name is Keisha Keisha.
All these names in the mirror. So we of course, Nene and Cynthia hanging out horseshoes with them. We kind of get the vibe Candy’s not coming back with this resurgence of Phaedra. What does that mean? If Candy’s out? I mean Phaedra on traders and guys, we’re getting to traders, because it’s just so good. So I do believe that Atlanta is being reworked. I think that they have some of the cast down. So I’m hoping and this is just my hope. And this is based on different things that I’ve heard. My hope is that they are going to be filming at some point this year, and hopefully rolling it out this time next year. Potomac. We had that email this week, Amanda. That said, Two of the women are out. I didn’t name the women. The email said Wendy and Candice again, these are just emails. I don’t have any confirmation on that it could very well be sent in by me for all I know, right. I do think we’re gonna see change in Potomac though, that I that I think, I just don’t know who Beverly Hills today we got an email. And the email said they are revamping, and they named her eat crystal and obviously Anne Marie, as not coming back. So I think there’s like a state of panic.
Okay, so then Okay, so now we’re merging emails and sources. And what I heard was somebody reached out regarding winter house, right. And what they said to me was, they said, first of all, season three was more successful than season two, they bombed the email that we posted about it suffering because of not having Lindsay they said, they Lindsay and Carl were not asked to be on season three. So why would producers torture they worded it torture the house and audience for season four? Sam also wasn’t considered for season three. So what’s changed? A breakup? And Amanda, did you see that email? That we got that Sam and Cory, you know, they recently went public which cocktail is new, because we posted weeks ago, we posted before Christmas that they had broken up. Apparently that’s all for show. Allegedly. They said if they’re cast on the show, you know, they’ll keep it going. And then they’ll probably get back after dooring whatever they can pull off and if they’re not cast, we’ll see them back together sooner. What do you think? It’s just a matter of so nobody is saying that these shows are being canceled. I didn’t watch southern charm Nola, but I share today in cocktail party. Or, you know, overnight. So, did you see the promo for the new Valley? The Vanderpump Rules spin also, I was tipped off yesterday and I posted it that that would be at the premiere, which Ally was at Bravo afterthoughts, a lot of our girl Kiki from talk of shame. Was there. A lot of people were at the valley village Zen blonde Heather McDonald. I don’t live in LA I wish I did. But you know.
Yeah, so I was told that would be I thought that the promo didn’t really show us much. It just kind of it looked it was kind of like it reminded me a little bit of The Truman Show.

I like to I kind of I liked it because it was like very light hearted. It reminded me too of like when Bravo used to do those like summer promos where they would do like the big fun ad, there was the circus one, right? We’re very candid that they had a bunch of the what’s the Britney Spears song and like very camp. Very fun. I enjoyed it. So the question then becomes, we know the prior scan of all the talk was that Vanderpump was in its last season. And due to the success of scannable. They were like, Let’s do that valley village spin off we were gonna do because time has passed. Stasi. I don’t know whether she was asked back I don’t believe she was but they brought back Jax and Kirsten who had previously been let go. I do think the ratings for this season of Vanderpump will be fantastic. I do not see them cutting the show. At this point. The cast has lightning in a bottle. And I just think that they are going to find a way to make themselves relevant and keep the momentum for at least a couple more seasons. I also think there’s room for both shows. And there’s room to cross over those shows. There’s businesses Yes, Ariana is on Broadway, there’ll be more new babies. There’ll be new weddings, you know, people are invested in this group of people. I do think that there’s a real chance they would have canceled, you know, if scandal hadn’t have happened because the ratings are so low. But now they’ve gained a whole new families who didn’t watch Vanderpump Rules, who are going to watch this season and probably the spin off, you know, so yeah, I think the spin off looks cool. We have Kristen we have Jax and Brittany as the anchors and then new couples. So hopefully they’re interesting. I haven’t looked that much into it because I’m done trying to invest myself in housewives before we meet them. Because every time I do that, I’m disappointed. And it never like aligns. Yeah, I agree. And I’ll be interested to to see if Lisa Vanderpump has any kind of role because if you remember a long time ago, two years ago, probably maybe three there was that

So it came out last week, actually, over the long weekend watch with my kids, because, you know, they know about our podcasts. And obviously, they know they met you. And so I thought it was kind of fun for them. Because most of the housewives shows I don’t watch with them for obvious reasons, talking about threesomes and blowjobs. And all that stuff in the sole traders is I mean, I think very, I think it’s family appropriate if you have kids over, you know, age of nine or 10. I know we both enjoyed last season, but what do you think so far of this? I actually watched it with my kids and my husband too. And they all enjoyed it. I think it’s so good. I liked last season. I love this season. This cast is amazing. First, yes, Phaedra and CT. When they were standing in front of all of their pictures, and like going one by one their commentary was you have this Bostonian wise ass. And then you have the Southern belle with her shade. And when Phaedra said, pointed Johnny bananas, and she’s just too fucking good this woman and says he kind of reminds me of the repo man. I mean, what? And it was such a great she didn’t even know him. And it was just so great. But listen, I think that Phaedra is smart as hell. I think as soon as she was cast at she looked into who else was going to be on it. She did a little research. She watched a couple of episodes. You know what I’m saying? Because she’s smart. Oh, yeah. And then I love what she was talking about something and she’s like, Yeah, you know, CT might be a good person to make a trader with I also kind of have a mild crush on him. And I’m like, Yes.

I think bananas has aged well. I always thought he was very like, first okay, I thought he was a jerk. He’s like the kind of guy to me that would like in a bar call a girl fat, you know, just that ik energy. And I just found him because of that energy. His looks never translated. Do you think he aged? Well, do think he’s had some work done? I think there’s some jaw situation going whether it’s a chin implant or fillers, which is fine. not knocking it. He looks good. Over on Bravo and cocktails. Instagram, went down a little rabbit hole. I loved CT from you know, real world Paris to the challenges. Yes, he was an asshole. But we did see him mature. And of course, how he loved dem may she rest in peace. She was for those of you that don’t know, a reality star on the MTV challenge. And very tragically, we watched her fight ovarian cancer and then we watched her lose her body battle. And there was a famous scene where she had done a round of chemo and was in remission. And after one of the events ripped her wig off, and he like grabs her lifts her and kisses her and it’s was one of those like, love story moments.
So yeah, I always like had the biggest crush on Si, si ti. And then I get a message from Amanda who tells me CTS all yours. This is why we’d make great wing women. So Amanda, are you telling me you prefer bananas?

And just so much of it is just about all the interactions and they’re throwing some fun twists in that they didn’t put in last season. So it doesn’t feel as formulaic. But I think it also makes it fun because the people who are playing themselves, like can’t completely strategize, because they don’t know exactly how it’s gonna happen. Right? And it’s I like that they pull in like Parvati. She was on survivor and Seattle, like both of them survivor. We really didn’t. Yeah, like the kids had. Because we had, I’ve watched that with the kids too. So they remembered them and like, it’s fun to just kind of armchair quarterback it and be like, what would you say? What would you have done? So definitely recommend like it’s kind of a more of a show that you can totally watch with your family if you’re an honorable mention to Larsa, who is so much more tolerable on traders than housewives. I also really like Marcus, I think they were smart to get rid of him because I think he was on to Dan. And who for some reason, he just looks like a job and to me.
Well, and they he had Larsa that somebody they had to scrape up. They had to because there was no there was no advantage for anybody. Other than Marcus and Laura Larsa to for them being there too. I really like Florida. Like I think he’s a nice to person. And I also think and of course I’m watching him on reality shows. But I also think considering Listen, your father is Michael Jordan. Like he grew up so privileged, and you could he’s very bright and obviously very well educated. It was funny. I said, I’m watching it last night I said to my husband, I’m like Marcus is so smart. He’s like, Yeah, but like, let’s also remember, I’m fairly certain he went to the best schools in the world. Like, is Michael Jordan’s kid? You know, of course he’s smart and everything like that, but I think he brings out a nice side of Larsa Yeah, and he’s got I mean, he’s not just smart. He’s got EQ Yeah, right. Like he has influence and that’s not you can be the smartest person in the world and no one will listen to you.
But he’s got he’s got swag. He’s got EQ he understands that how is he? Or her feeling? He just like has no EQ or I don’t know maybe she does and she plays a character but she seems like robotic to me. She is I don’t know and it’s funny just speaking of Larissa because I had liked her on old my Yes. And like save I like I hate to say this because I say do whatever makes you feel good cosmetically right. You know be and I have talked about how one day we will go away for a few weeks coming back looking very refreshed. But her personality changed the way she Yes. The way she looks like it’s so it’s so different and that for me it’s really hard to get past that because I’m like who are you really almost reads like because we did watch and when Miami came back I rewatched both of those seasons. And it almost I think she was only on one of them actually but whatever it is it
It almost reads like she came back and she decided to play a character and not really be her true self. And I don’t like that. I mean, do you feel like she looks like to us she has a different head and body.
At Listen, she’s an attractive woman now, but she was a natural beauty there was zero need for her to. There’s never a need I get it, like, to your point do what you want. It just doesn’t make sense. And I mean you do you but like, it just I don’t know. It just doesn’t feel I just have a hard time seeing Passat and I think that’s what totally off topic.
