On our pod we were talking about John & Shannon’s rentals and guesstimates on what they pay in rent lol a local helped us out! Sharing with you guys!

I live on Newport Beach peninsula. John Jansen rents on a canal street in a duplex (about 8 streets from me). I bet his rent is about 8K. His house is small but it’s on the canal and it has a dock for a very small boat. Shannon lives in an apartment on Via lido Island, probably a half mile from John. She has a bay view so probably pays about 8K.

Kelly and Rick rent a bottom unit of a duplex on the peninsula but not on boardwalk or sand (about 2 blocks away from sand). They probably pay 8K.

They are all about 1/2 a mile from each other other at the most. Quiet women is in corona Del Mar about 4 miles south on PCH. “A” restaurant is also on PCH and close to all of them. They should be walking or biking if they go to A. No reason to drive! (I just listened to your podcast. Absolutely love it!)

    I just walked by one blocks away from
    The beach 1bd and it was 7,200. I highly doubt his rent is as “low” as 8k on
    Canal street

    confused bc shannon definitely doesn’t live in an apartment on the show. what house is that? (and it ain’t no $8k!)
    also agree with the comment above that john is paying more than $8 on a canal.

    lol and it’s all 8k which I can believe but I bet there’s some difference between them all. Also there’s Zillow…

    His address was printed around the time Shannon got her DUI. I looked it up on Zillow and I believe it was something like $5500 in 2021. Real cheap for being on the water.

    Is this per month? I’m asking because in Australia we pay rent by the week.
