'Summer House': Carl Radke and Mia Calabrese Admit They Have Crushes

Carl Radke and Mia Calabrese may have just become Bravo’s newest duo to watch.

The “Summer House” castmates had fans buzzing after openly admitting they have crushes on one another during a candid conversation on Carl’s “More Life” podcast. The flirty exchange comes as both reality stars are single following the end of their previous relationships.

It was Mia who made the first move.

“Carl I have such a crush on you,” she told him. “I’m serious. You are so cute and like yourself and sure of yourself and confident.”

Carl didn’t hesitate to return the compliment.

“I have a crush on you as well,” he admitted.

Whether the comments were simply playful or hint at something more remains to be seen, but fans are sure to be watching closely when the next season of “Summer House” premieres.

The conversation later turned to Mia’s breakup with Scott Robert Williams, whom she dated last summer.

“I did get to know your ex,” Carl said. “You know, always had thought he was, you know, respectful and cool. But the way you kind of navigated a lot of that, I feel like, sounds like you guys are still friends.”

Mia confirmed they’re still “cool,” but said she’s embracing single life.

“Nothing against Scott,” she explained. “It’s exciting.”

She added that she’s intentionally taking time before jumping into another relationship.

“I think I needed like… Okay, so I don’t believe in like going from one relationship to the next. That is so weird… I needed some time. Like, I needed some time. I’m still in the place of like, I need time. I’m not ready to like, seriously date anyone or do any of those things.”

Mia also revealed that she has frozen her eggs as she plans for the future.

Carl and Mia Return for the New Season of ‘Summer House’

The timing of the conversation is especially interesting after Bravo confirmed the returning cast for the upcoming season on July 13.

Carl and Mia will both be back alongside Ciara Miller, Kyle Cooke, Lindsay Hubbard, KJ Dillard, Bailey Taylor and Jesse Solomon.

Amanda Batula, West Wilson, Levi Sebree, Ben Waddell and Dara Levitan will not return as full-time cast members.

As Bravo and Cocktails previously reported, additional new faces are expected to join the house, although casting has not yet been officially confirmed.
