“The Valley” is rolling cameras again, and Bravo fans have plenty to say about the timing.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, production resumed on season 3 after TMZ published photos of Jax Taylor vacationing in Mexico with longtime publicist Lori Krebs. The photos showed the pair embracing in a swimming pool, with witnesses telling the outlet they appeared comfortable showing affection throughout the day.

The renewed filming comes even though Jax is no longer part of the season 3 cast.

Bravo Fans Wonder Why ‘The Valley’ Started Filming Again

After news broke that cameras were back up, presumably to capture Brittany Cartwright’s reaction, fans quickly questioned why producers felt the latest headlines warranted more filming.

Bravo fan account Two Judgey Girls summed up much of the reaction with a simple post: “But why?”

Others echoed the same sentiment.

“But why? They’re split up and he’s not on the show. why would I care what Brittany thinks? Stop allowing Jax Taylor to haunt the narrative,” one viewer commented.

Another wrote, “This is just ridiculous. This is not worth picking cameras back up for.”

One more fan added, “This is so unnecessary.”

The extra filming follows reports that Taylor and Krebs were seen together in Mexico. Krebs, who had worked as the longtime publicist for both Jax and Brittany, reportedly deactivated her Instagram account following the attention surrounding the photos.

Jax and Brittany separated in 2024 after nearly five years of marriage.

Although the latest headlines could become part of season 3, many viewers questioned whether the storyline is enough to justify additional filming, especially after Jax’s departure from the series.

Taylor exited “The Valley” after season 2, saying he wanted to focus on his sobriety, mental health and co-parenting with Brittany as they raise their son, Cruz.

Season 2 centered heavily on Jax’s struggles with addiction and included a domestic incident involving Brittany before the couple’s split.

“The Valley” airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
