Jasmine Goode is clearing the air about who did — and didn’t — attend her wedding, plus updating fans on where her relationships with some of her co-stars stand today.
During an appearance on “The Reality of Reality,” the “The Valley” star revealed that nearly all of her castmates were there for the big day, except for Lala Kent and Michelle Saniei. She also admitted she was pleasantly surprised to see Danny Booko and Nia Sanchez in attendance.
Jasmine Goode Says She’s Moved On With Danny Booko
Looking back on her guest list, Jasmine said there weren’t many notable absences.
“Everyone was there besides Lala and Michelle. And Lacy was supposed to be there, but she missed her flight,” she said on the podcast.
Jasmine said both Lala and Michelle received invitations but had different reasons for not attending.
“Lala had something I guess she had to do. Michelle, listen, I wouldn’t have even noticed if she was there or not,” she joked.
One couple she wasn’t expecting to see was Danny and Nia.
“I was very surprised [Nia and Danny] came,” Jasmine admitted. “But I think, you know, we’re in a place right now where we’re trying to move our friendship forward. So they’re … supporting me, which is really nice.”
Jasmine also made it clear she no longer has any issues with Danny despite their rocky history on “The Valley.”
“We’re in a good place. We moved on. He was at my wedding. We have a great time together. Honestly, he’s kind of fun,” she said.
She added that she hopes other cast members keep their own issues with Danny separate from hers.
“I think other people in this group have issues with him. And I just hope when other people have issues with him in the group, I hope they can keep it with them.”
As for Danny’s drinking, Jasmine said the concern isn’t alcohol itself.
“When it comes to Danny and this drinking situation, no one truly cares about him actually drinking,” she explained. “Do what you want, drink as much as you want, we don’t truly care. It’s that when you do drink, sometimes you do things that make you look like an (expletive).”
‘The Valley’ Star Says Janet Caperna Is Still Family
Jasmine also offered an update on her friendship with Janet Caperna and Jason Caperna following their season 2 drama.
“I love Jason and Janet. They’re always going to be like family to me,” she said. “We were friends way before ‘The Valley’ was even in the picture.”
Still, Jasmine believes their friendship changed once filming began.
“I think once we started filming a show, things definitely got a little weird and different,” she said. “At that time, I felt like Janet was moving different.”
Jasmine questioned whether the cameras played a role in Janet’s behavior.
“I was like, is it the cameras? Why is she acting this way?” she recalled. “Once the camera’s up, people sometimes get a little, ‘Oh, I want to fight for the screen time,’ or they want to pop off or act a certain way.”
She added, “I was like, why is she changing? Who is this person? She’s not the same. And I just was seeing a different side.”
