Lindsay Hubbard is revealing more than ever about what led to the end of her relationship with Turner Kufe.

On the June 30 episode of “In The City,” Lindsay told producers she believed she had found her “fairy tale” with Turner and was even willing to make major sacrifices to keep their family together. However, she said their differing views on life in the public eye ultimately proved insurmountable.

Lindsay Hubbard Says She Was Ready to Compromise for Turner

Looking back on their relationship, Lindsay admitted she knew from the beginning that Turner wasn’t comfortable with her public career.

“When my baby daddy and I started dating, I just, yeah, I thought that this was gonna be my fairy tale,” she said. “I knew that he didn’t love that I was [a] public [figure]. But I guess I just thought we could overcome the differences between like the public/private stuff.”

She then revealed just how far she was prepared to go to make the relationship work.

“You know, I was willing to compromise huge things—including my career—to give our family a shot. He didn’t want to do it.”

During the episode, Lindsay also reflected on a pattern she sees in her past relationships.

“My relationships haven’t worked out. I can’t sit here and say like, it’s all their fault, and I can’t sit here and say it’s all my fault,” she admitted. “But I do think I choose partners that aren’t necessarily, like, healthy for me.”

She compared the end of her relationship with Turner to her broken engagement with Carl Radke.

“Carl had a whole f**king vat of issues that he’s still working through. But like, what happened at the end of the day? He wound up abandoning me,” she said.

She added, “What happened with my baby daddy? He wound up abandoning me.”

Lindsay also connected those feelings to her childhood while speaking with Kenny Martin, explaining that her estrangement from her mother has had a lasting impact.

“I’m gonna be battling abandonment issues until the day I die,” she said. “And the only thing I can do is try to manage, and control it, and recognize it.”

Despite the emotional breakup, Lindsay recently shared that things have improved between her and Turner as they continue raising their daughter, Gemma Britt Kufe.

“We’re in a really great place. I feel like it took a while,” she said on Lala Kent’s “Untraditionally Lala” podcast. “Now last year is behind me, we’ve found our footing as like new parents and a new dynamic of co-parenting, mediation, the whole bit, lawyers, this or that.”

New episodes of “In The City” air Tuesday nights on Bravo.
