Gia Giudice is not holding back when it comes to her feelings about Ava Dash.

Ahead of the season 2 premiere of “Next Gen NYC,” Gia opened up about her ongoing issues with her co-star and revisited the drama that began when Dash accused Teresa Giudice of unfollowing her on social media.

Speaking on the “Virtual Reali-Tea” podcast with hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy, Gia said the situation felt anything but genuine.

Gia Giudice Says Ava Dash’s Teresa Giudice Claims Felt ‘Calculated’

According to Gia, Dash’s comments about Teresa came as a surprise because the two women had already spent time together before the issue surfaced.

“It came out of nowhere and it just seems very convenient. That’s why I thought the whole thing was very calculated because this wasn’t the first time Ava and I had seen each other,” Gia said.

When Murphy suggested Dash may have been attempting to redirect attention from negative headlines surrounding her own family, Gia hinted viewers may eventually understand her perspective.

“I think that eventually viewers will see that within her a little bit,” Gia said.

Gia also questioned how aware Dash is of her public image.

“She’s very aware of her image and how she would like to be perceived. Obviously, nobody likes bad press or bad attention. But, unfortunately that comes with this territory,” she explained.

Despite the criticism, Gia made it clear she still considers Dash beautiful.

“I would never take that away from her,” she said before adding, “You could be nasty and still beautiful.”

‘Next Gen NYC’ Drama Continues Into Season 2

The conflict dates back to season 1 of “Next Gen NYC,” when Dash alleged that Teresa had unfollowed her on social media. The claim created tension between Dash and Gia and reportedly contributed to fractures within the friend group.

Gia previously addressed the issue during a 2025 appearance on Nick Viall’s “Viall Files” podcast, but she revisited the topic again while discussing the dynamic among the cast.

“I think that definitely had something to do with the divide a little bit, but also … there was also weird energy and attitude being given to some of us during press last year during season 1 of ‘Next Gen,’” Gia said.

“There was just always this weird energy that was kind of given to some of us, and we’ve never done anything,” she continued. “So, it was kind of just like, let’s see how this goes.”

Season 2 will bring back several familiar faces, including Riley Burruss, Emira D’Spain, Brooks Marks, Georgia McCann, Charlie Zakkour and Shai Fruchter.

The returning cast will also include Ariana Biermann and Hudson McLeroy as they continue navigating friendships, relationships and life in New York City.

New additions Rowan Henchy, Liam Obergfoll and Kendall White will join the cast for the upcoming season.

With old tensions still simmering and new faces entering the mix, viewers can expect plenty of drama when “Next Gen NYC” returns.

Season 2 of “Next Gen NYC” premieres June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo.
