Lisa Hochstein can officially put one of the most contentious chapters of her divorce drama behind her.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the “Real Housewives of Miami” star is no longer facing criminal prosecution in connection with allegations that she illegally intercepted communications involving her ex-husband, Dr. Lenny Hochstein.

The update marks a significant development in a legal battle that has played out alongside the former couple’s highly publicized split.

A counselor with Miami-Dade County’s Advocate Program notified prosecutors that Lisa successfully completed all requirements of the pretrial diversion program she entered after being charged earlier this year, according to TMZ.

The filing reportedly states that Lisa was referred to the program on May 15 and fulfilled all conditions required for completion. Following that review, the counselor requested that the case be dismissed.

According to the outlet, prosecutors announced in court Monday that the charge would be dropped as a result of Lisa successfully completing the program.

The felony case stemmed from allegations that Lisa and her boyfriend, Jody Glidden, illegally intercepted communications involving Lenny during the couple’s lengthy divorce proceedings.

At the time, both Lisa and Jody were charged with one felony count of interception of wire, oral, or electronic communications.

Lisa Speaks Out Following Major Legal Development

Following the dismissal, Lisa addressed the outcome in a statement.

“I’m relieved that charges have been dropped,” she said.

She continued, “What makes this particularly difficult is that this is from more than three years ago, police at the time declined it, and Lenny continued to hire people to pursue it, at the expense of our children.”

Throughout the case, Lisa’s legal team argued that the dispute belonged in civil court rather than criminal court.

Now, with the criminal case dismissed, it appears that particular legal battle has reached its conclusion.

Lisa and Lenny’s Divorce Drama Continues to Make Headlines

The former couple’s divorce proceedings have included disputes over finances, property, custody matters, and public accusations from both sides.

While the latest legal update does not impact any separate civil matters, it does remove the criminal case from the equation.

Lisa’s attorney, Jayne Weintraub, also commented on the dismissal.

“We are pleased that the charges were dismissed and they can go forward with their lives,” Weintraub told the outlet.
