Bravo has officially hit pause on RHOM following season seven, but readers of Bravo & Cocktails heard about the potential shake-up weeks earlier.
On February 22, Bravo & Cocktails received a tip claiming the Miami-based franchise had been cancelled and that Bravo would likely announce it in April.
According to multiple outlets, Bravo has officially paused “The Real Housewives of Miami” after season seven. While the series has remained a fan favorite, several reports indicate that declining viewership contributed to the network’s decision.
This is not the first time the Miami franchise has been taken off the air.
‘Real Housewives of Miami’ Previously Went on an Extended Hiatus
The Bravo series first premiered in 2011 and quickly became one of the network’s most glamorous entries in the “Real Housewives” franchise.
However, after season three aired in 2013, the show went on hiatus for nearly eight years. It eventually returned in 2021 with season four, which debuted on Peacock with a partially refreshed cast.
The revival proved popular with longtime fans and introduced new viewers to the Miami group’s over-the-top lifestyle, friendships, and feuds.
Season 7 of “The Real Housewives of Miami,” which concluded in October, featured returning Housewives Alexia Nepola, Larsa Pippen, Guerdy Abraira, Lisa Hochstein, and Julia Lemigova. New cast member Stephanie Shojaee joined the group during the season.
Friends-of Adriana de Moura, Marysol Patton, and Kiki Barth also appeared throughout the season.
RHOM Season 7 Reunion Ended With a Major Bombshell
The season 7 reunion ended with one of the most shocking revelations in the franchise’s recent history.
During the October 2 reunion episode, Julia revealed a surprising claim about her longtime friendship with Adriana.
“I would like to say something that will bring clarity, hopefully, on why we’re with Adriana where we are,” Julia told the group during the reunion.
“In the Hamptons, Adriana and I slept together.”
The moment prompted stunned reactions from the rest of the cast, as well as reunion host Andy Cohen.
Adriana quickly denied the claim.
“I never scissored anybody,” Adriana responded. “I’ll never go for your dirty whore.”
The explosive moment became one of the most talked-about scenes of the reunion and added to an already dramatic season.
For now, Bravo has not announced when or if “The Real Housewives of Miami” will return. But if Cocktailers are paying attention, they know one thing for sure: sometimes the tea arrives here first.
