Jesse Solomon isn’t pretending the fallout from the “Summer House” season 10 reunion was easy.
The musician and Bravo star has been vocal about feeling hurt after learning more about West Wilson and Amanda Batula’s relationship timeline, but he’s also making it clear that he hasn’t completely given up on the friendships.
Speaking to BravoTV.com backstage at the season 10 reunion, Jesse admitted he arrived feeling emotional about the state of the group’s relationships.
While he wanted answers about West and Amanda’s romance, his biggest concern was something else entirely.
Jesse Solomon Says He’s Mourning the Loss of the Friend Group
According to Jesse, the reunion wasn’t just about getting clarity.
He said he was mourning what had once been a close-knit group of friends.
“I was a little sad,” Jesse admitted before explaining that he hoped the reunion would help clear up questions surrounding West and Amanda’s relationship timeline.
More importantly, he wanted to see some healing.
“Yeah, there is some hope,” Jesse said. “But it’s just like a situation that can’t truly be fixed, so I just hope that there is some reconciliation.”
During the extended and uncensored version of the reunion streaming on Peacock, Jesse became emotional while discussing how the situation affected him.
“It hurts deeply. I just feel lied to,” he said. “And I’m really upset that the sanctity of this friend group feels broken.”
“And today has really proved I just would never have expected this out of you,” he continued. “And I’m sad about it.”
The emotional moment quickly became one of the most talked-about scenes from the reunion.
The Bravo Crooner Shares Updates on West Wilson and Amanda Batula
Although tensions were high at the reunion, Jesse has remained in contact with both West and Amanda.
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Julia Cunningham Show,” Jesse revealed that West reached out following the reunion.
“I just feel lied to and he apologized,” Jesse said. “So, just seeing what happens from here, honestly.”
Later, while appearing on E! News’ “The Rundown,” Jesse provided an update on Amanda.
“I checked in with her a few days ago,” he said. “I don’t think she’s doing particularly great. But she’s been my biggest supporter musically. She’s so proud of me and I appreciate that.”
Jesse also suggested Amanda understood why so many people were upset.
“I think she knows she f—ed up, and she wishes it were different, but it is what it is,” he added.
Jesse Solomon Says the Door Isn’t Completely Closed
Most recently, Jesse appeared on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” and shared where things currently stand with both castmates.
When asked if he had spoken with West since the reunion, Jesse revealed the two have exchanged texts.
“Yeah. We were talking about him potentially coming to my Kansas City show, and he texted me saying he couldn’t make it. And then he texted me yesterday asking how tour was,” Jesse said.
As for Amanda, he said they’ve also been in touch.
“We’ve texted. She apologized. I don’t think they realized how hurt we were, so she was sad to see that.”
When Andy Cohen asked whether he thought he could eventually be friends with West again, Jesse didn’t completely shut the door.
“We’ll see,” he replied.
“Summer House: The Aftermath” airs Tuesday, June 16, on Bravo.
