Jesse Solomon is opening up about where things stand with West Wilson ahead of the “Summer House” season 10 reunion—and it sounds complicated.
Appearing on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” on April 21, Jesse shared an update on his friendship with West following the fallout surrounding West’s relationship with Amanda Batula. While Amanda has already reached out, Jesse made it clear that West has not.
Jesse Solomon Says Trust Is ‘A Little Broken’ With West Wilson
“He hasn’t apologized, but we — the trust is like, a little broken,” Jesse said during the appearance.
Even so, Jesse made it clear that his history with West still matters to him. The two joined “Summer House” in season 8 and quickly formed a close bond.
“Listen, I’m disappointed with how he’s handled the situation, but he’s been a good friend to me,” Jesse explained. “You’re talking about a guy who’s sat on the floor with me when I thought I had cancer again. He’s a good person, I think.”
Looking ahead to the reunion, Jesse said he hopes West takes accountability for how everything played out.
“I think he should take accountability,” he said. “I think he’s going to be combative at the reunion, but I think he really should really like, hear people and apologize and go from there.”
Jesse also addressed West’s stance on the situation, noting, “He thinks people have the timeline all messed up, and it’s ‘two single people.’ But I’ll let him speak for himself.”
Host Andy Cohen responded simply, “Well, this is gonna be interesting.”
West, for his part, has also started speaking out. On the April 20 episode of his podcast “Show Me Something,” he addressed the backlash and shared his perspective on the relationship.
“A lot has happened in a very, very short amount of time, obviously,” West said. “And yeah, I’m trying to take it a day at a time and stay off my phone, but the internet is a very scary place to be.”
He also pushed back on speculation about overlapping relationships.
“There was no overlap,” he said. “I know, there’s a thousand of different theories on the internet right now, but that is one thing that for sure did not happen. Everyone was single, like I said earlier. So then we realized things are maybe a bit serious in February, and that’s when this all started, and there’s not a whole lot more to it than that.”
