Golnesa Gharachedaghi is finally addressing the Shep Rose rumors — and yes, there was something there.

The “The Valley: Persian Style” star admitted she and the “Southern Charm” bachelor “had a little bit of a thing” during a recent appearance on Access Hollywood’s “Housewives Nightcap,” more than two years after their flirty BravoCon 2023 exchange set Bravo gossip into overdrive.

Golnesa Confirms Shep Rose Flirtation

“That was a little bit of a thing, yeah,” Golnesa said when asked directly about Shep. “I don’t think either of us are each other’s taste, so to speak. I think I was a little bit of, like, the forbidden apple, the forbidden fruit, so to speak, for Shep.”

The whispers first started at BravoCon 2023 when Golnesa walked the red carpet alongside Mercedeh Javid and Reza Farahan. While insisting she was “single,” Reza quickly spilled that a certain Bravolebrity had been texting her.

“[Golnesa] has a Bravolebrity that is texting her, and I’m not gonna say anymore,” Reza teased to Access Hollywood.

Golnesa didn’t hold back.

“Right there!” she said, pointing off camera. “If you zoom over there. Shep. I have a very telling text from last night from Shep. Yes, I do.”

Shep soon joined the interview and confirmed the vibe.

“There’s no secret there,” Shep said. “She’s gonna ditch me. She’s gonna find a better suitor, I’m sure, at any moment.”

Although the flirtation never turned into a full-blown relationship, Golnesa had nothing but positive things to say about Shep.

“He’s extremely intelligent,” she said on “Housewives Nightcap.” “So, I am really turned on by intellect, and he’s very, very, smart about an array of topics. You can kind of talk to him about anything, and he has input. He’s well-traveled, he’s classy. Yeah, the juices started kind of.”

Golnesa has long identified as a sapiosexual, meaning she’s more attracted to intellect than physical appearance. In a recent interview with Parade, she shared that she is looking for a financially successful “brainiac” who respects her need for space.

“I am looking for a relationship. I just started,” Golnesa said. “I want to get into the dating scene… I don’t know how that works in LA. I don’t know how to do the apps and stuff like that. Maybe just like someone will appear for me, I don’t know. I’m supposed to be manifesting. That’s what they’re telling me: manifest!”

Marriage, however, is off the table. After her 2018 divorce from Shalom Yeroushalmi and her 2024 annulment from Dennis DeSantis — which she discussed on “The Valley: Persian Style” season 1 — Golnesa has made it clear she has no interest in walking down the aisle again.

Fans can watch Shep on new episodes of “Southern Charm” on Wednesdays and Golnesa on “The Valley: Persian Style” on Thursdays on Bravo.
