Kenya Moore is finally explaining why she wasn’t invited on Bravo’s upcoming “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th” — and according to her, it has nothing to do with her legacy.
The 20th anniversary special is bringing together more than 60 Housewives, along with a core cast of seven. But the longtime “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star was notably absent from filming.
Kenya Moore Claims Bravo Legal Issues Blocked Her Casting
When fans asked about her absence during a January 24 YouTube livestream, Kenya didn’t mince words.
“I think that’s legal stuff,” she said. “Nothing to do with whether they thought I was a legendary Housewife or not. That’s a whole different legal thing.”
Kenya’s comments come after she was suspended during “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 16 for showing explicit photos of Britt Eady at her Hair Care event. Since then, she has not appeared at the season reunion and was also missing from BravoCon 2025.
Despite that, Kenya believes production missed a major opportunity by not making Atlanta originals part of the main lineup.
“When it comes to NeNe or an OG from Atlanta, I do feel like NeNe or Shereé should have been a part of that main cast,” she said.
NeNe Leakes and other Atlanta staples are expected to appear in limited roles, along with Porsha Williams, who Kenya believes may have a broader deal with NBCUniversal.
“So maybe that’s a part of her deal, where she has to be on a certain amount of shows for them, since we’ve been seeing her on a lot,” Kenya alleged, pointing out Porsha’s appearances on “Real Housewives Girls Trip” and season 4 of Peacock’s “The Traitors.”
The confirmed main cast for the anniversary trip includes Teresa Giudice, Porsha Williams, Luann de Lesseps, Kyle Richards, Lisa Barlow, Vicki Gunvalson, and Gizelle Bryant.
Production is currently filming in Miami, even though an original Miami Housewife was also reportedly left out of the core group.
