A new docuseries is puttingThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake Citystar Mary Cosby back in the hot seat — and this time, the allegations are far more serious than anything viewers have seen play out on Bravo.

TLC’sThe Cult of the Real Housewife, which premiered Jan. 1, takes a deep dive into Faith Temple Pentecostal Church in Salt Lake City. The church was founded by Mary’s grandmother, Dr. RosemaryMamaRedmon Cosby, and later taken over by Mary and her husband, Robert Cosby Sr., after Rosemary’s death in 1997.

The three-part series features interviews with former church members who accuse Mary and Robert Sr. of financial abuse, cult-like behavior, and inappropriate relationships. Here are the biggest bombshells from the documentary.

Mary Cosby Faces Serious Claims in TLC’sThe Cult of the Real Housewife’

One of the most explosive claims comes from Mary’s first cousin, Dan Cosby. In the docuseries, Dan alleges that former Faith Temple member Cameron Williams told him he had an affair with Mary.

According to Dan, Cameron described Mary coming to his home, asking him to play music, and initiating physical contact. Dan claimed Cameron told him they later had sex.

“He said,Me and Mary had an affair,’ former congregant Ernest Enoch said in the documentary, adding that Cameron allegedly shared the story with multiple people, including Mary’s sister Denise Jefferson Odinaka.

Cameron died in 2021 following complications from brain tumor surgery. Mary has not publicly addressed the specific claims.

Several former Faith Temple members allege that Mary and Robert Sr. repeatedly demanded large financial donations from congregants through what were calledheave offerings.”

Former member Rosalind Enoch claimed these meetings initially happened every six months but increased in frequency over time.

There’s an emergency and they need $100,000,Rosalind said in the doc.The worst announcement you could hear was,Tell everybody don’t leave. You knew it was about money.”

She also alleged that ushers blocked exits during these meetings and that members were pressured into giving money they couldn’t afford. There were people cashing out 401(k)s, losing homes, she claimed.

Dan also alleged that Robert Sr. physically abused young boys during mandatory church meetings known asthe brotherhood. These gatherings were described as military-style training sessions that allegedly escalated into abuse.

Dan claimed elders, including Robert Sr., forced boys to endure intense drills and, in one instance, used pins to keep them compliant. According to the docuseries, Rosemary was eventually informed and shut the meetings down.

OnThe Real Housewives of Salt Lake City,Mary has repeatedly said her grandmother arranged for her to inherit the church and marry Robert Sr. However, Denise disputed that claim in the documentary.

She’s lying,Denise said, alleging Mary began spending time with Robert Sr. after Rosemary’s death and was gifted a BMW.He knows better than to let her say Mama wanted this.”

The docuseries also revisits Mary’s marriage timeline. Investigative journalist Cheyenne Roundtree presented court documents suggesting Mary married Robert Sr. just 19 days after finalizing her divorce from her first husband.

“The timeline shows there was some crossover happening,Cheyenne claimed.

Mary previously denied any overlap during the season 1 reunion with Andy Cohen.

Mary has denied that Faith Temple is a cult and called the documentarysad and a shameat BravoCon 2025.It’s horrible, she said. And it’s not true.”
