“The Valley: Persian Style” premieres January 8, and for fans of “Shahs of Sunset,” the new Bravo series will feel both familiar and brand new. Several longtime faces are returning to the spotlight, including Reza Farahan, Adam Farahan, Mercedeh Javid, Tommy Feight, and Golnesa Gharachedaghi. But this time around, they’re joined by a group of fresh personalities who are ready to stir things up in a quieter — but no less dramatic — suburban setting.

According to Bravo, the friend group finds itself at a crossroads as they try to balance marriages, friendships, and personal growth. And while suburbia may seem calm on the surface, a desert trip that goes sideways proves that old patterns die hard.

Returning Faces From ‘Shahs of Sunset’

Reza Farahan and Adam Farahan enter the series 14 years into their relationship, living a calmer, child-free life away from the city. Reza appears to be in a better place with longtime friends Golnesa and Mercedeh, though unresolved history still simmers beneath the surface.

Mercedeh Javid and Tommy Feight return amid major life changes. After their fairytale wedding and becoming parents, the couple is now struggling to keep their marriage intact as family pressure, careers, and loyalty issues collide.

Golnesa Gharachedaghi has traded bottle service for playdates, but her fiery personality hasn’t gone anywhere. After a brief marriage to a close friend and business partner, she’s focused on rebuilding her life and moving forward.

The New Couples and Singles Joining the Cast

Tanin Nikpey and Greg Haroutunian appear to have it all — success, ambition, and a thriving social life — but their marriage faces serious tests that force them to reevaluate their connection.

Sky Askari and Bamshad Akhbari couldn’t be more different. Her discipline clashes with his playful nature, and unresolved grudges threaten both their relationship and friendships within the group.

Natasha Kashanian and Amir Boroumand bring a more grounded energy, though balancing marriage, young children, and a packed social life proves easier said than done.

Rounding out the cast is Reza Jackson, the group’s resident charmer. While he talks about settling down, he’s still holding tight to his playboy lifestyle — at least for now.

“The Valley: Persian Style” premieres Thursday, Jan. 8 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on Bravo. Episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
