The Real Reason Tommy Feight Won’t Film With Reza Farahan on “The Valley: Persian Style”

During the Season 1 premiere, Tommy drops off MJ at Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi’s son Elijah’s birthday party but makes it clear he won’t step foot inside. “My wife will always try to get me to come to things, but when you bring Reza into the equation, I do not hang out with people that I don’t like,” Tommy tells producers.

He also explains the moment he says changed everything — MJ’s terrifying 2019 labor complications, which landed her in the ICU after giving birth to their son, Shams Feight. In flashbacks, Tommy is visibly emotional while confronting MJ about the situation, saying, “You know Reza 30 years, dude, and he left you to rot in the hospital. He knew the severity. He knew how bad it was.”

While MJ and Reza eventually made peace, Tommy hasn’t been interested in playing the forgiveness game. “That’s why it’s not easy for me just to… turn the page. It’s not,” he says in a confessional.

And the drama between Tommy and Reza didn’t stop at hurt feelings. In May 2019, Reza was granted a restraining order against Tommy after Tommy allegedly threatened his life and vandalized Reza’s home. The court order required Tommy to stay 100 yards away from Reza and was set for three years.

That legal battle came after Reza and MJ’s feud exploded publicly, involving accusations of infidelity and harassment. Tommy’s alleged actions pushed the situation into another level entirely — and it’s a big reason this feud still feels radioactive years later.

Now that Reza and MJ are filming together again on “The Valley: Persian Style,” the big question isn’t whether MJ and Reza can coexist — it’s whether Tommy will ever be willing to share the same orbit.

And based on the season 1 trailer, this messy history isn’t going away anytime soon — even as Mercedeh and Tommy’s own marriage faces cracks on camera ahead of their divorce filing in October 2025.
