Sutton Stracke Addresses Jennifer Tilly’s RHOBH Trailer Shade and ‘Sad’ Split From Garcelle

Sutton Stracke is finally addressing Jennifer Tilly’s now-infamous comment about Garcelle Beauvais in the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 15 trailer — and let’s just say she didn’t love it. The Bravo star opened up at BravoCon about her rift with Garcelle, Jennifer’s not-so-subtle dig and what really happened when the former best friends crossed paths on a red carpet. And yes, Sutton is keeping it classy… but she’s also making it clear she’s hurt.

Sutton Stracke Says Jennifer Tilly’s Trailer Comment ‘Stung’ and Shares Update on Garcelle Beauvais Rift

Jennifer raised eyebrows in the trailer when she joked that Garcelle left the show because it was “always all about Sutton.” Sutton wasn’t amused.

“How dare she say that?” Sutton told Entertainment Tonight. “I think Jennifer was in a moment of her own. It was quickly squashed because obviously she didn’t mean it, and I don’t know why she said it. It stung, and it was very surprising for me.”

What surprised Sutton even more? Her falling out with Garcelle.

“I’ve never lost a friend. I’m a good friend, so it’s been very interesting,” Sutton said, admitting she’s been “very sad” about where things stand.

The two recently attended the “Song Sung Blue” premiere, and while they didn’t exactly rekindle the friendship, Sutton said they did speak.

“We sure did. I said, ‘Hello,’” she shared. When asked if the ball is in Garcelle’s court, Sutton was firm: “I don’t think anything’s completely up to one person.”

Jennifer also walked back her trailer comment, saying she initially didn’t even remember saying it. “My feelings were hurt at the time,” she explained. “We’ve been best friends for 18 years. It was nothing more than a tiff that hopefully we’ll resolve.”

Jennifer also confirmed she wants Sutton and Garcelle to reconcile.

“They were such a good couple and I hope they come to terms,” she said. “Nobody’s sure what happened… I think even Sutton is confused about what happened.”

Of course, Jennifer didn’t miss the chance to joke about her viral poolside thirst trap.

“I did do a thirst trap and it went viral,” she laughed, recalling how she insisted on being underwater “to cover all your wiggly wobbly bits.”

She also teased the new RHOBH cast members: stylist Rachel Zoe, finance influencer Amanda Frances, and Natalie Swanston Fuller, whom Jennifer calls an “always ready to dance on tables” party girl.

Season 15 premieres December 4 — and with this much off-camera drama already happening, the episodes can’t come soon enough.
