RHOBH Stars Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke Have Cringey Red Carpet Moment After Friendship Split

The timing couldn’t have been more awkward. Days after confirming that her friendship with Sutton Stracke was officially over, Garcelle Beauvais nearly ran into her former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” co-star at a star-studded Hollywood event.

The two Bravo alums both attended AFI Fest’s closing night gala premiere of “Song Sung Blue,” at the TCL Chinese Theatre on October 26. Photos shared to Instagram showed Garcelle, 58, and Sutton, 54, walking the red carpet just steps apart — but notably not together.

Just days earlier, Garcelle made headlines after addressing their fallout during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live.” When asked about her friendship with Sutton, Garcelle didn’t mince words. “Not only did she not have my back at the reunion,” she said. “She also, when she called me, never took accountability for it. And that hurt my feelings a lot.”

Garcelle Reflects on RHOBH and Moving On From the Drama

While Garcelle’s “RHOBH” friendships may have soured, she’s clearly keeping busy. In a recent interview with Us Weekly, she revealed a lighthearted run-in with Mauricio Umansky and Paul “PK” Kemsley — both estranged husbands of her former castmates Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley.

“I recently went to dinner with a girlfriend, and who did I run into? PK and Mauricio,” Garcelle shared. “PK said, ‘Garcelle, on a scale of one to 10, how do you feel after the show?’ I said, ‘30,’ and they started cracking up.”

The actress admitted she’s enjoying her post-“Housewives” privacy, adding, “It was fun, but having a little privacy is nice.” She’s also been dating, though she joked that her ideal partner probably wouldn’t want to join reality TV.

Since leaving the show, Garcelle has turned her focus to her family and her passion projects, including producing Lifetime’s “Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie.”

“It’s always been important,” she said of her advocacy for missing women of color. “Until we no longer have to talk about the disparity in media coverage, we’ll keep doing these movies.”
