Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker have confirmed they are divorcing after 11 years of marriage — and Bravo fans immediately remembered the very documented prenup negotiations that played out long before the wedding. Kandi announced the split in a statement to People, calling it “a difficult and emotional time” and emphasizing her focus on “protecting my peace” and co-parenting. I’m a resident of Georgia and it’s not a 50/50 state. Assets are not distributed evenly like California. The fact that they went into their marriage w a solid prenup should protect her. I could see him filing for child support if they do 50/50 custody based on her net worth versus his. I always felt like she included him in things to not let him feel emasculated.
