Bronwyn Newport isn’t holding back. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star broke her silence on the “ridiculous headlines” about her alleged legal history after her name was linked to “identity theft” and “fraud” during season 6, episode 6.
Bronwyn Newport Addresses “Fraud” Rumors on RHOSLC
In her confessional, Bronwyn wasted no time clarifying what she called a swirl of misinformation. “There’s two separate things happening here,” she said. “There are mistakes I made in college — we’re talking 20 years ago. I think I had an eviction notice after I left BYU and I had to pay it later.”
She explained that the online chatter escalated because newer allegations were being confused with old, resolved issues. “And then they’re saying that I allegedly committed crimes, current day, in the last year or so. Identity theft, grand theft, fraud, all of those are things listed under that penal code.”
Bronwyn insisted that the situation wasn’t recent and that legal restrictions prevent her from discussing it fully. “What actually happened was almost 10 years ago, nothing recent,” she told producers. “But it’s been a case that was dismissed and then later sealed, and I really, legally, can’t talk about what my involvement is in that.”
Bronwyn and Todd Bradley Weigh Fallout from the Scandal
Later in the episode, Bronwyn sat down with her husband, Todd Bradley, to unpack how the “ridiculous headlines” were impacting their family. “You know this lying bulls—t online in the press affects all of us, personally and professionally,” Todd said.
Bronwyn acknowledged the strain, adding, “I know this is gonna cause a problem for you at work, so I’m sorry about that. I know that my name next to any of these words reflects poorly on you.”
The couple’s tension grew when Todd questioned why Bronwyn still planned to attend the upcoming “Below Deck Down Under” crossover yacht trip — especially since they both suspected Lisa Barlow had a hand in the renewed gossip. “It’s unclear to me why you wanna go spend time with these people,” Todd said. “A tiger can’t change its stripes.”
Bronwyn defended her choice but admitted she was conflicted. “I wanted to be done fighting with Lisa,” she said. “And the idea that she could’ve been doing this while apologizing to me is pretty devious.”
Todd ended their conversation with a warning: “If you decide to go, fine. But don’t come home complaining that you and Lisa got into a fight, because I assume it’s gonna happen.”

I don’t think it’s Lisa, it’s Whitney she like the others, except Mary, loves to dig dirt on their cast mates. Bravo Todd’s are the worst!
