Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley are officially going their separate ways. The “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star and the tech executive have separated after nine years of marriage, a decision that comes as their relationship struggles continue to play out on season six of the Bravo series.

A representative for Bronwyn confirmed the split in a statement to E! News on Dec. 12. “After thoughtful consideration, Bronwyn Newport and Todd Bradley have separated,” the statement read. “This was a mutual decision made with care and respect for one another.” The rep added that the former couple is asking “for privacy during this time.”

Bronwyn is mom to daughter Gwen, 19, from a previous relationship. Todd does not share children with Bronwyn.

RHOSLC Season 6 Showed Cracks in Bronwyn Newport’s Marriage

The timing of the separation has not gone unnoticed by viewers, as season six of “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” has documented tension in the couple’s marriage. Earlier in the season, Angie Katsanevas alleged that Todd had made out with one of Lisa Barlow’s friends, a claim Bronwyn quickly denied.

There’s no way Todd cheated with one of Lisa’s friends,” Bronwyn told Bravo’s “The Daily Dish” when asked about the rumor.

Later episodes focused on another incident that sparked conflict between the two. Bronwyn addressed claims circulating online that Todd had been “caught on a plane cheating” after allegedly looking at photos of other women on his phone. The situation escalated enough that Todd ended up sleeping at a hotel.

“When I first got this screenshot of a tweet sent to me, I was furious with him,” Bronwyn said in a confessional. “I told Todd he needed to stay at a hotel that night and leave for his business trip the next day or early. We needed some space from each other.”

The fallout from that fight led Bronwyn to openly question whether their marriage could evolve into something different. During a conversation with Whitney Rose, she shared that she was not ready to give up on the relationship entirely.

“Look, I don’t wanna be done with Todd. I wanna evolve with Todd, and I need him to evolve with me,” she said. “Todd can do what he wants to do, and I can do what I wanna do. But we still need to be a partnership when we get to where we wanna go.”

Those revelations followed an earlier admission during season five, when Bronwyn shared that Todd had previously had an emotional affair.
