Our Send Us Tea inbox has been overflowing and we have so much of it to share that we’re calling this an All Tea episode. Starting with RHONY…we have an update on casting and will we see Carole Radziwell again? Who is coming back for Season 3 of The Valley? And who is not…we’re hearing there has been a breakup of one of The Valley couples. Next Gen NYC will start filming soon, we’ve got casting updates for that show and also have the tea on why Emira wanted all of us to google Georgia’s boyfriend, Omar. And what’s happening with Summer House this summer? And where is it headed?
Welcome to cocktails and gossip, the podcast where we drink cocktails, but you better believe we’re going to spill the tape. We chat reality TV celebrity blinds and the hottest tea from Bravo and cocktails.com
and as always, it’s all alleged. And just for fun, we do not verify our blinds. I’m V and I’m Amanda. Let’s get into this week’s team.
Oh, Amanda and cocktails. Do we have tea today?
Hi, cock tailors, Hi Fi, what’s up? I mean, what is happening? Did all of the reality TV, the powers that be, the decision makers, the executives, were they all in Europe, and just came back from vacation because our send us tea inbox was has been absolutely wild this week. So, and I know you’ve been getting a lot coming in through the DMS as well. Well, the emails are always amazing, because even if somebody completely goes into their fiction tales and sends us an email, sources will follow up and be like, Okay, here’s the parts of this email that are accurate, and here’s what I can tell you, is not happening. So it helps us clarify, gives us a clearer picture. So we really, yesterday was quite the journey.
I think it was like four or five big time emails throughout the course of the day. I mean, we woke up to, yes, almost that many, four or five, I feel like, and then got more. So let’s wild. Let’s break them all down. Okay, so I’m trying to think of where to start. Okay, because we have stuff on the valley. We have stuff for Roni. We have Atlanta and summer to start with, and summer house. Let’s start with Roni subject, sweet 16. I apologize, but I can’t give out an authentic email out of fear of being cut. Of course, we always love to get those. It says, But producers have officially received the green light from Bravo and NBC to begin filming The Real Housewives of New York City, season 16, beginning the first week of September, returning as full time housewives are Jenna Lyons, Aaron Liche, side of Silva Jaisal tank and Rachelle Raquel chevermont, celebrity stylist to Beyonce and to Jay Z June Ambrose and peloton, VP of fitness programming and head instructor, Robin arzone, both of whom are married with younger children will be the newest Apple holders. UBA Hassan, who now lives in Connecticut full time with her fiance, Oliver, will not be returning as a main cast member. However, she’s expected to pop in from time to time as she still maintains a busy professional and social life in the city.
Bravo is pulling out all of the stops while keeping it as grounded and realistic as possible. They’re well aware of fans desire to see the OGS return, but they know that simply throwing all of them in would feel would feel forced with that said, Carol wadzewell, who is back on good terms with both Bravo and Andy Cohen. Cohen, what is wrong with me? Andy Cohen is in talks to return to the show in a part time capacity. Producers see her as a natural bridge between the old and the new eras of Roni, especially given her friendship with Jenna. They also believe her sharp wit and dynamic presence would spark compelling banter with Aaron, Tsai, Jessel and Raquel, giving her a genuinely organic in with a current cast, the storylines align naturally. Another plan is to bring Luanne, Sonia and Dorinda in for a few appearances throughout the season. Jenna has also agreed to film with her fiance, Cass and producers are committed to ensuring the cast remains both authentic and drama fueled to avoid another misfire like the past few seasons. So I have some bad news. A lot of this is inaccurate. We did have some reliable people reach out, according to the people I spoke with, Jenna is not coming back, I get the sense that she was coming back, because I had, actually, I wasn’t straight told, but I was told who wasn’t coming, which was Uber and Brynn. So I maybe I assumed, and I also wasn’t specifically told she isn’t but what I was told was all of the returning ladies have youngish kids, which means Jen is not returning right now. I don’t know if the new women are all gonna have youngish kids too. It leads me to believe they’re going that route. But the ones that are returning have youngish kids, is what I was told. Erin sy Jessel Raquel, no surprise there. They’re locked June Ambrose, the celebrity stylist. Her name was mentioned Amanda the first time around. If you remember, we got an email. Remember, I know I can picture her face in my I’ve seen her many times, and yes, it was thrown around at the very beginning. They do want her, and she has been in talks, but her husband ultimately just isn’t into it. So she’s not a lock Robin from peloton his name. I did not hear from this person, but they said that toon day was considered, but ultimately they didn’t go with her. So we know who’s out.
I can’t say that I know exactly who the new people are, and I don’t know that they know. I think they really have cast a wide net, and I don’t think they’re planning to start filming until after the new year. So it’s possible that they haven’t really made final decisions, right? Like they know who’s not in, but they don’t know who’s in. Does that make sense? So the piece of tea we got that said they got the green light to film in September is not true. I don’t believe so I actually think that they might still be looking maybe what that means is they’re still testing people, but whoever the new people are are not like firm Well, I hope, I mean, I know originally the show, back in the day, whenever it started, was supposed to be Manhattan moms, but I don’t feel like I need to have only women who have small children, and I guess Raquel, her kids are a little bigger. Yeah, I don’t know, but I don’t know. I feel like the mom angle is the most important thing to me by any means. So I don’t let that so either. I think the person said it more as a way to not name Jenna, but let me know Jenna wasn’t returning, if that makes sense. I was also told no OGS, listen, I think Carol would be perfect for somebody who makes cameos. I don’t, I don’t know. I don’t think that’s gonna happen for me. When I got the email, I was like, You know what? At one time, we would have said, No way, but Bethany is so off the reservation with Bravo and Andy and Carol have made amends. So I could see, and I feel like I’ve seen Carol more active on social media. So maybe she was wanting, I was thinking, Maybe she wants to be like back in public on social media, the Luann and Dorinda thing, although I know we’d all want to see it, I can’t say I ever believes that, but I’m hearing no OGs. I think probably everybody can agree that we don’t need to see the OGS and the reboot cast on the same screen. I think everybody just holds on to hope that we’ll get the OGS back in some way, shape or form. Listen with successes. Net share in New York City, we have Avery and Ally Jill and Ramona daughter hanging out, actually, in the Hamptons, but they both have residents in Miami. Their moms do throw them on. Have the moms make appearances. Luann’s daughter Victoria could be on. Heck even Sonia’s daughter Quincy could be on. That’s a vibe, and I have to tell you something, next gen has the highest rating.
Price of any show ever on, bravo. More than any housewife show, 5.8 million. It is a money maker. So, and we’re going to get to that later. We have a lot of tea on that. So, yeah. Well, speaking of newer reality shows, the valley just wrapped up at least the regular programming before the reunion. I think it was
quite a season. We got an email about the valley season three, which we have talked about this, that they wanted to start filming with the cast here pretty soon, to capture, you know, Kristen’s new life as a mom, and Nia and Danny’s new baby and they have moved, I believe, by now. So we knew that this was coming. So here’s what the email says, subject, peaks and valleys. Season Three of the valley is set to begin filming within the next three weeks, Kristen and Luke, Danny and Nia, Jason and Janet Brittany, Jesse, Michelle, Jasmine and Zach are all returning as full time cast members. A new couple will also be joining to round out the ensemble, but it’s unclear who they are. As for former Vanderpump Rules cast members, producers are taking viewer feedback seriously, which also played a major role in Jax is firing. With that being said, don’t expect to see Lala or Schwartz next season. However, Sheena and Brock are the most likely of that group to return in a part time capacity, though it’s still undecided. Jesse’s partner lacy Nicole is going to film Benji Zach’s boyfriend, Aaron Michelle’s boyfriend, and Melissa Jasmine’s fiance will be present, but not promoted to full time cast members. That’s all for now. Well, thank you for this email, because we got some exclusive Bravo and cocktails tea that was not posted anywhere else that Aaron and Michelle have split because someone reached out and they said that Aaron won’t be filming. And I was like, That’s odd. And then I see people speculating that Michelle unfollowed him, so I messaged the source, and I’m like, did they split? And the person’s like, yep, don’t know specifics, but apparently he broke up with her. What are your thoughts on that, because she was talking babies at the finale episode and moving in together, which we know they did, because we saw that on the preview for the reunion. I think maybe Aaron couldn’t take the heat, so he had to get out of the kitchen. I don’t feel like he had a particularly great showing on reality TV, and I think he probably didn’t like that, and I think he realized that that is Michelle’s life for the time being. It. It makes me sad for Isabella, Michelle and Jesse’s daughter, that that change will be happening because, you know, but it’s, I know, Michelle, no mother wants to have their child in upheaval. And I think I’m betting, if you said that, it sounds like he broke up with her, I’m I’m betting she was kind of taken by surprise, because I don’t think she would have made that step to move in, move them in, unless she, you know, was thinking end game with him. I feel Michelle has a lot of different qualities that have annoyed us. I feel for her because she went through a divorce. Her mother passed away, she dealt with her mother’s cancer battle, and so that can certainly cloud your judgment. And I think that maybe she built Aaron up to be better than he was in her mind, because she was in a vulnerable place without Jesse, with her mom’s illness and then her passing. So yeah, I think it said, I am not a fan of his. I know, just from that great valley source that we have, that he was very wanting to be paid for his appearances. And so we had posted, and we had spoke about that. We kind of got the impression that he was in it for exposure, money, fame. He has his honey business. I believe he was even like the bartender in the audience when she was on watch. What Happens Live, which doesn’t always indicate a thirsty person, but he seemed very thirsty to me. So yeah, yeah, I agree. Can I ask a question? Yeah? Am I the only person who kind of hopes Jesse and Michelle get back together? It’s so funny that you say that, because watching this last show, I am like Michelle and Jesse have more chemistry than I mean, I feel like Erin is wallpaper. Yeah,
in terms of personality, and maybe she needed that at that very tumultuous time in her life with her mother’s illness, maybe the fact that Aaron was so boring and
right, I mean, minus the eyes, which could give you nightmares, I don’t I doubt they’ll ever get back together, but I wouldn’t be so.
Surprised if we hear that they hooked up, right? Well, because there’s a lot of passion between them, yeah, and you can tell, like they used to have, like, drag out fights and then crazy makeup sex. You can just tell yes, 100% the main reaction to this email was, how can they say they’re listening to the viewer feedback and still have Janet on guys. For better or worse, Janet has us talking. I actually had somebody DM me and say, I don’t even watch the valley, but every time I open Instagram, I see a meme about Janet, so she’s not going anywhere. Yeah, it doesn’t surprise me, and we’ve had this conversation. You don’t have to like somebody for them to make good TV. I also am not surprised they’re phasing out Lala. Well, we had heard that Lala wouldn’t be on, but when I saw the shorts, I was like, Huh? The reality is, if Jax isn’t on, there’s no bridge for Schwartz. Yeah, Sheena and Brock, we’re gonna see them. I mean, whether they’re full time or part time, I think, depends on if Sheen is willing to adjust her salary demands, she’s out here naming every celebrity she ever hooked up with. I mean, go for her. Okay, I have to tell you something. I You’re gonna spit your drinks out guys when you hear me say this. So I listened to Sheena on Heather McDonald’s podcast, and then I’ve been working you guys can are gonna see it, but I’ve been working on a graphic about Sheena and her reality TV history and all the men that you know she says that she has dated. So first of all, I want to read her book, right? This is shocking, but second of all, I am just gonna say, I give this girl all the respect. I put respect on her name, because I guess I sort of knew this. But, and keep in mind, she is still my BTC guys, but she lived through the golden age of the, you know, early 21st Century, Los Angeles, like the Britney, Lindsay, Lohan, Paris Hilton, kind of heyday. She’s been on so many shows, she was on the hills, way back when our girl is still hanging in there and staying relevant. So like I said, like she is my BC, but put some respect on her name after I realized all of this, so I feel like Sheena is gonna she’s gonna find a way. Yeah, she will still be in front of us. She is, and I respect that this episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Do you ever think about switching insurance companies to see if you could save some cash. I have to say, I do too. Okay, so more details of the email. I was surprised to see Jesse’s girlfriend, Lacey, was willing to film because I had heard she was very opposed to it, and sort of says she, as of right now, is not filming the women she’s she’s a young daughter, and just isn’t comfortable. That’s what people say. So yeah, well, and I don’t I, you know, I get that, and not everybody wants to be on TV. I think people have a hard time believing that, but I do. I believe that, like not everybody wants to be famous.
Miss. Also about Sheena. I mean, we have to put some respect on her name, because although she didn’t say us on juicy scoop, she has many times in the past, said us on her own pod, but she did say how she was, like, surprised that a gossip blog, when her book was being written, had the scoop on Brock’s affair, and that was and, yeah, it was us, because she also said it was behind a paywall. So I wasn’t as worried about about it that, rather than if it had been out. But you know, Sheena, if, if you’re a cocktail, respect on your name, yes, if you’re listening. So Okay, so next gen NYC, we started to talk a little bit about it again. Such, I think, such a great season. So a lot of the cocktails were asking, you know, when Amira kept saying, Google him, when she was talking about Georgia’s boyfriend, Omar, and she’s, you know? And then when they she heard they broke up, she was like, Oh, thank goodness. Again. She said, Google him again. So we knew that something was up with him, but there is some serious tea on him. So it says the Securities and Exchange Commission filed a complaint against recent Yale graduate, Omar Zaki, class of 18 for misleading investors in financing an unregistered hedge fund that he was operating as an undergraduate student in New Haven. Zachy settled with the Commission on Monday without admitting or denying its findings. He agreed to pay $25,000
in fraud charges, which he must pay within the next two and a half years and is barred from working in the investment industry for the next three years. Zaki will not face prison time, as per the settlement. According to the SEC the fund was founded in the fall of 2016 by Zaki and individual, a a law student at the time who is not named in a complaint, from January 2017 to February 2018 Zaki and individual, a succeeded in raising roughly $1.7 million from 11 investors. The duo created investor prospectuses with false trading history investment returns and management teams. Zaki an individual, a allegedly told defense investors that the fund managed between two and $5 million when the fund never managed more than 1.3 and wrong wrongly reported returns in excess of 80% from December 16 through March 17, the fund did not conduct any trading at all until June of 2017, wow. Okay. First of all, he went to Yale. So we know he’s very bright, but I’m impressed with the fact that he was able to avoid jail time. That’s pretty serious stuff. I really I had no opinion on Omar. He sort of came in in the middle, other than it appeared to me, he only owned one suit, so
clearly he won’t be back on but wow, that’s quite a crime. Steph is some straight up white collar crime. And I actually am really surprised too, and we’ll have to read more into it. But not only did he avoid prison time. But I don’t know if it says anything about him having to pay these investors back. So maybe they kept, maybe they were able to pay. It’s not clear what happened to the funds that were in there, but that is that’s wild, because we were all looking at Charlie zakora sideways, because, yeah, he was at that house of crypto, House of Horrors, but Omari was right there under our eyes. I wonder if he did use any of his funds from this fund to invest in Georgia’s venue ideas, I’m telling you. And then I think later in the notes, we do have some more intel on next gen. Guys, we so we don’t write a script, but we like write notes. So as we were writing this yesterday, we kept getting emails. So we’re a little all over the place, but this email is exciting, because we all love supper house. So yeah, we’re gonna jump to that and we’ll go back to next gen. I think that’s kind of fun about today’s podcast is it’s all it is all tea beginning. It is a lesson we’re really have time to talk about today. So Okay, question for you, after I read this email, did we manifest this or is Bravo listening to our podcast? Here’s what the email said, summer should be fun. Filming for season 10 of summer house is nearing the one month mark, as previously reported, returning cast members, Kyle, Amanda, Lindsay, Carl, Sierra, West Jesse and Gabby are being joined by five new faces, Levi, seabree, Bailey, Taylor, KJ, Dillard, JJ, Wakim.
Kim and former bachelor Australia star Ben Waddell, this season marks a shift with the veteran cast members stepping into new roles. Kyle and Amanda are focusing more on lover boy and future family plans. Lindsay is splitting her time between the house and a nearby Airbnb where a nanny is staying with her daughter, and Carl is busy trying to launch his non alcoholic bar this summer. With that in mind, the spotlight is shifting towards Sierra West, Jesse Gabby and the newcomers, if all goes as planned, producers are looking to rebuild the core cast around them and transition Kyle Amanda and Lindsay to a new spin off, currently in development called Summer in the City. No word on Carl as of now, while few details are available, the new series is expected to include Paige Hannah and a few of their close friends. Unlike next gen NYC, this show will follow a group of millennial professionals who are more established in their careers, though still younger and slightly more chaotic than the current Roni cast. Okay, first of all, I’m not sure if this is true or being we’re being punked, because part what we know, some of it is true. We know the new people that’s hasn’t been confirmed by the network, but we see them posting with the cast. So that part, we know we had that Intel for a while. It’s accurate. As far as the Lindsay Airbnb thing, I find that wild, because nobody else has said that. That’s just something you and I like spit balled off the top of our heads on either cocktail pot or here.
So I mean, it makes sense, and I hope it’s true, because I think that’s a great way for Lindsay to like be there. But also, it’s not a matter of the thing. I think when people are like, the baby has a father, but new moms generally don’t want to leave their child for long periods of time. Like, it’s not a matter of, of course, she can, of course, you can hire a nanny. Of course, the child has a father, but you know you want your baby nearby, so I can see this working. Amanda Kyle Lindsay, they have a lot of mutual and wealthy friends. We know this because we’ve seen them go to weddings, a lot of them oversea. Last year, they were all in Mexico, Portugal. I don’t know how willing these people would be to film, but you would imagine that there would be some people who would want to because I’m sure they’re entrepreneurial, as Kyle Lindsay and Amanda are, like the new guy. Ben was met through Amanda’s best friend who is also friends with Lindsay and Danielle. So this is where we go back to them being a core group of friends. And I do think that filming in the city would be more appropriate for some of these people who may have said to Kyle in the last couple of years, Kyle, I’m not joining a share house at 40 years old, right? But now, if he’s like, listen, we’re doing a spin off in the city, and we could highlight your xyz business that people may be like, Huh? You know, because they may be married couples with kids or what have you So, yes, so the spin off piece from that, that part of the spin off, I can say, Okay, so the part about Paige and Hannah, I have a conspiracy theory. Your local Ferguson showroom,
weirdly hearing conversations about Kyle and Hannah making up like Andy asked about it. I can’t remember if it was the summer house reunion or on Watch What Happens Live. I remember it may have been both. There is a large focus when Amanda is on and Kyle and Paige about the Hannah of it all. And do you see them making up? And, right? Yeah, so, and as you have said, be like Hannah doesn’t need she doesn’t need the show. She doesn’t need to make up with him, unless it’s for, you know, real reasons. It’s not for strategic she and Paige are arguably more successful than I would say, maybe any of the rest of the summer house cast combined. Yep. But what if Kyle might have to apologize if he wants Paige to come on the new show, because if Paige says, I’ll do it, but I want Hannah on too, then he’s got no choice but to make things right with Hannah before either them would agree to come on the show. Because I think everybody knows that Paige is kind of the bigger star is the big star from summer house. Paige knows that network wants her back, and so maybe she is making Kyle eat his words in order to get them both on the show. It just makes me wonder if this has all been like a page mastermind situation, and if not, she, I think, is still like the smartest person on reality TV by far. So first of all, Paige just publicly said, I think I’m gonna take a long break from reality TV. Never say never. But it’s not something I’m looking to do anytime soon. So there’s that which money talks right, that could change. I can see that this would work more for her schedule, rather than like having to be in the Hamptons three days. This is in the city where she lives and works, right? I don’t see Hannah coming back, because she has been very outspoken on their podcast about how she’s so happy she doesn’t have to do reality TV. I don’t know. I’m not saying it’s not possible. It would surprise me. It would really surprise me. I do think there’ll be a spin off. I do think the network would love Paige and Hannah to be on it. I just don’t know that that’s a realistic goal for them. Yeah. I mean, we have heard Hannah say, if you guys listen to giggly squad, many, many times on the show, how much she hated doing reality TV. And I think she’s even used the words PTSD right as the result of doing it and show married, and I don’t know, but I do think it’s funny that this email felt very like it was very in line with, you know what we’ve been talking I mean, even down to us calling it Summer in the City, yes. So yeah, what do you do? You think we manifested this? Or do you think Bravo is listening? I think that you and I are very smart, and we do like how I’m giving us problems. I think that we all assume that they’re gonna do a spin off, because why wouldn’t they? Yeah, the part about that’s not the part that I find funny that it lines up. The part that I find funny that it lines up is the Lindsay piece. Because I think that the reaction when we said that Lindsay possibly has an Airbnb out there and is kind of filming there and at the house, and obviously in the city, people were kind of like, okay, she doesn’t have her own air and be out there, Airbnb out there. And I’m like, why not? Like, you have to also recognize Paige leaving, put Lindsay in a really good position, because Lindsay was the lead, and then Paige came in, and that’s sort of why, like, Paige did steal some of Lindsay’s thunder, and then ultimately they ended up having, like, a real friendship. I think that they both, they’re very different, but they both appreciated each other’s way, or what have you. And so Paige leaving the show positioned production and the network to really need Lindsay. I think you need a strong female lead. Sierra and Amanda are friends of they may not be paid that way, they may not be featured that way, but they don’t have main character energy. I said, what? I said, Yeah. And of course, Lindsay’s not gonna have her baby in the house, within her house, and then she’s not gonna leave the baby all the way back, and she don’t, she doesn’t want to be on a regular basis, three plus hours away from her baby. So I agree that all that all makes sense. So let’s see. We’ll get more tea as time goes, and we’ll share it, of course. So we need to talk about Denise’s soon. Denise Richards soon to be ex husband Aaron. He is doing himself a little media tour trying to make Denise out to be a cheater and a drug addict. And we got some exclusive tea that only the cocktails know about, but we’ll share it here. First of all, Aaron is a grifter. He makes us sick. Yeah, I wouldn’t, I don’t think any of us.
Would be shocked to learn that Denise, like has some tequila and maybe has pops a pill. Clearly, we washed her on Beverly Hills and her spin off, and she’s quirky, but Aaron trying to make her out to be a bad person, we’re not buying it. Somebody who knows them shared that Denise fully funds not only his lifestyle, but his family’s they said that Denise has been fully funding his family. Aaron has no job. Allegedly, there was also a lawsuit with their neighbor and Aaron’s brother, and Denise paid for it all. Aaron is lying about everything, and he had his friends try to break into her house, and she’s had to hire security now to protect her and her daughters. And apparently, Denise is telling those close to her like, never get married. They’ll just financially drain you. She’s tired of funding him and his family’s life. I mean, I felt actually sick to my stomach when I saw that he blamed her black eye that we’ve seen the picture of on her falling up the stairs. Like, sorry, but fuck that abuser seriously. We could spend, I think, another hour going on about him, but I would rather move on. Yeah, I don’t want to give him any spotlight. I just wanted to share what we were told about, right? Her funding him, which, I mean, we kind of knew, because we knew that he didn’t appear to have a job, and we also knew that his family was living in the townhouses, which we all found weird when we watched the show. So yeah, the whole family is Grifters. So we
talked, I think it was last week about the Netflix show set in Palm Beach. We’ve posted about it as well, but A source told us that the woman who filmed for that show members only, the one described as having Ramona audacity and Luanne libido. She was hanging out with Jill Zarin this weekend in the Hamptons. Apparently she is Jill’s best friend, and word is that they also had asked Jill to join the cast of the show, but I guess they never followed through. So that came in, and then we mentioned at the top of the pod, Avery and Jill’s daughter Allie, were hanging out. It was some influencers event. As soon as I saw it, I was like, Are they pushing to be on Miami’s because we hear that next gen is expanding from New York. They’re gonna have one in Miami, possibly London. We know there’s probably gonna be one in LA,
giant ratings for this show. So whereas somebody like Avery and ally, who you know have wealthy parents, and they do seemingly well on their own, may have initially poo pooed it, when you see ratings like that, your mind changes.
Ally Jill’s daughter, Ally is an influencer. You know, they have their Jill and Ally brand, but you can see if you follow her on socials, she has completely leaned into being an influencer. Jill keeps saying it when she’s a guest on pods, yeah, Avery has that bachelorette party business. I mean, both of them could use the exposure of 5.8 million people, even at the height of housewives, that’s higher than all the housewives. So love them or hate them. You know, they’re entitled little brats. Some would say they know how to lean in. People are begging for a taste of old school Roni. You know, throw Victoria luanne’s daughter in there. Do they live in Miami? No. Could New Yorkers easily go rent an apartment in Miami and get a show going? Yes, and then, I’m sure there’s many other young, interesting people living in Miami, toss their mom with some housewife kids the same formula that they did in New York City. I’m sure Avery and Allie have friends that live in South Florida, right? So, yeah, I’m just saying, well, bravo. Copy us again.
You guys remember the email that we got and shared with you months ago saying that NBCU and Bravo. Feel that next gen is the network’s next great franchise, and it’s looking like they were right. Like you said, the best so the ratings are crazy high. They also are the best show premiere and the best series premiere ever on Bravo. So yeah, you’re right. Ali and Avery are smart. They’re hooked into social media. They see what’s up. I’m not surprised to see them try to capitalize as well. And you know, I’m open. Maybe we will come to like Avery once we see her on screen, just like we have with Ariana. We won’t strangers have happened? Stop now, now, now you’re acting. Are you okay?
First, Sheena, now we say maybe, well, like Avery, or maybe there is something in the water and I’m drinking it too. Yes, I think so. We get another, another email. Yeah. Do you want to read this one? Yes, okay.
Subject the generation continues, next gen NYC, season two filming is imminent. Bravo is thrilled with how the show has performed. Riley, Ariana Brooks, Gia, Charlie, Ava, Amira, Shai and Hudson are all returning as full time cast. A handful of newcomers are in talks to join some names being mentioned. Ming Lee Simmons, daughter of Kimora and Russell. Simmons, she was in talk season one, but ultimately declined. Lola Consuelos, daughter of Kelly and Mark. Sophie bedor, obviously Shannon’s daughter. Along with a few lesser known names who are being considered that are they’re big. These the names that we don’t know are big in the Manhattan social scene. Producers are hoping to welcome four newbies into the fold, two guys, two girls. An early storyline will center on GIA and her boyfriend Christian, moving to the city with the help of the cast, even if it’s just for show. Let’s break this down first. We had heard Charlie would be out. Yes, that was where I wanted, what I wanted to talk about first so I guess he’s back in because of the the ratings Well, or maybe he was never fully out. So we heard that it was his choice. I think that we know Bravo has a hard time quitting toxic men. And I think that somebody like Charlie, I mean, what have we been talking about, what has the cast been talking about? Yeah, so I wouldn’t be surprised, and you have to imagine, he’s seeing the ratings and thinking, okay, I can get a brands going. I can get deals going. I’m sure they’re gonna have to pay these kids more. I mean, Riley and Ariana and Brooks are certainly know from their moms that they’re gonna have to negotiate larger salaries. Their moms have people that they work with that have dealt with. Bravo. They know how to negotiate. So yeah. Amira, makes sense? Or to come back. Ava, wait before we move on from Charlie. I just had a couple quick things about Charlie. So first of all, something that you guys wouldn’t know. And b I don’t think you even know this, because I don’t know if I’ve had a chance to tell you about it. This episode is brought to you by Progressive Insurance. Charlie zakor is our like articles in our posts about him and his family, but also just about him, are like, the highest trending articles driving traffic to our site right now? Wow. Not the highest. But like, in terms of the trend, like the biggest trend lately has been the content about him. So people are really interested in him. It’s really surprised me, but it makes sense, because people are trying to understand more about him, because he’s new and he is an interesting character. Yes, he’s kind of an a hole, but he is an interesting character. I think the other thing as I was watching, and I’m curious to see if you picked this up as well. In this last episode, he’s in the kitchen talking to his dad, like, Charlie’s making some toast or something. His dad is like, kind of standing there and looks like he’s also maybe making coffee. His dad will look at him. Did you know like? And his dad, like, won’t look him in the eye.
I was, like, looking down, like, standing with his back to him, and I’m like, you know, this all just makes a little bit more sense. Like, his dad won’t even he won’t even look at him. Here’s the thing that I think piques all of our interest. I think that, generally speaking, we see wealth as like a child can’t be abused or neglected if they’re rich, right? And so I think watching Charlie, we’re seeing a young adult, because he’s 29 years old, who’s very clearly stunted. So our rich kids of the past, our mailbox money kids, who comes to mind Shep, and when you see Sheps and Austin too, who, I don’t think Austin says wealthy, but you get my point. Well, to do parents, the parents like run to the door, on on their scenes and embrace them, and anything their little Peter Pan sons do is perfect and wonderful, right? That’s always been kind of what we see, what we’ve seen, and I think what we assume, right? And so here you have this boy, Charlie, who the father’s hedge fund. He grew up going to all the best prep schools. He’s got the apartment in the city and and he’s just so lonely. His father clearly, either is embarrassed by him, doesn’t approve of him, just isn’t a kind person in a general way, outside of financially helping him. And then we met his mother too, who sort of seems like to live in la la land. And I wouldn’t say I got the impression that she didn’t love him, but she sort of almost reminded me of James Kennedy’s mom, like there’s a vacancy there. Yes, right? Not a very maternal, not really a maternal. You know what I you know what I’m saying? Yeah, I do. And so he’s hilarious too. Really quick. Guys like our lawn people are here, and they never come at this time. So I’m really sorry if you’re hearing the background noise. It’ll be done soon, though. So I think that that intrigues people. Because I think that, listen, money and power are something that are very intriguing to us, regular folks. Most of us don’t, aren’t parents, aren’t multi million billionaires, right? Yeah, and so then it’s almost like we’re confused how he can be such a sad boy,
like he really feels defeated. And you even see it when people get mad at him and they’re like, annoyed by him, and they ultimately give in, because there’s something like, you know, there’s like, all these quotes, and like, sentimental quotes, and like, if you have to love yourself first, and if you don’t love yourself, love yourself, you can’t love anybody else. And like, Charlie’s like a walking poster board for that. Like he isn’t nice to his friends, but he isn’t nice to himself. Yeah, I think you’re spot on about the sadness and the juxtaposition and with the other kids, like, you see Brooks, whose parents are like, Ha, you know, spoon feeding him, and he’s crying about not being able to work for his mother, like, okay, even, even Ariana, who, God knows Kim spent her money and has all these faults when she came to that, you could see her mother loves her Riley’s mother loves her. Ava’s father, who, again, is a very troubled guy, and he’s bankrupt, and he has a lot of scandal. Dane dash loves his daughter, right, right? And then you just see Charlie, who just seems really neglected, which is a hard thing to wrap our head around. Somebody rich being neglected like it doesn’t make sense, but that’s how you end up being in the club scene in New York City at 14, right? Because nobody’s nobody cares. His mother isn’t watching, and his father, it’s sort of like his father made a determination early on, whether it was that, who knows, maybe, maybe, academically, things didn’t come as easy to Charlie, or maybe he was a little misbehaved. But it seems that Charlie’s dad decided early on he wasn’t going to do much that was going to impress him and just sort of tolerates him, right? Well, I love I think Amira has definitely become one of my favorites. Can I ask a question? So, yeah, Dave never mentioned that she’s transgender, right? Do we find that a little odd that it’s not mentioned? If I wasn’t told it by somebody ahead of filming, I don’t think I would even realize it either she it, you know, I think
because she is fully transitioned, that is her right guess,
and it’s not, it’s not a thing. I think it would be interesting to hear about, you know, her childhood and the feelings that you know of what it was like to know that she was transgender before she actually transitioned. I think that would be an interesting part of her story. But I also like that you know, we’re seeing her have her success. So every once in a while when I’m watching not on Peacock, I see the ads, and Amira is in this, trust me, ad that plays a lot during next gen NYC. She is, she really is just such a natural. There’s so much. It’s good to see all of the fun and.
A light, and maybe either she wasn’t ready to have that conversation or it wasn’t relevant to who she is. I don’t know. Yeah, I just, I don’t know what the appropriate thing is, and I think that maybe it’s something like to your point, she she is a woman now, and doesn’t want to discuss the past, and that makes sense. I guess I’m just surprised nobody like mentioned it in confessionals or something. I’m surprised to see that she is so enamored by her straight up, four out of 10 of a boyfriend,
yeah, he’s very basic, isn’t he? It’s just not like, he’s like, you know, it doesn’t seem to be that funny, seems very sweet, doesn’t seem that handsome, I don’t but maybe she likes being like the star, the beautiful one, the interesting one. And she kind of likes that he’s boring. There are people that like that. Yeah, I don’t know if I believe the Lolo Consuelos. Somebody told me she lives in London currently, which, again, she’s from New York. She could always be coming back, but Kelly, Ripa and Mark Consuelos are kind of huge names. They’re also very good friends with Andy. Would they want to kind of, we know that their son, their son, actually works in production on Bravo shows. He like, studied, you know, studied in college to do that work. But that’s different. I think it’s different to be behind the camera than in front. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe Lola wants to be a public persona like Kelly in some way. I just, I don’t know. I haven’t heard of her working in the biz at all, so her name seemed out of the clear blue sky. But I could be wrong. I mean, when your parents are in the biz, sometimes you want to be in it well. And part of what’s interesting about this show, minus Charlie, is everybody else is, you know, either has careers that they’re or they’re kind of figuring out what their careers and so I could see a place where Lola continues to work on her career, or whatever her day job is, but then uses this as an opportunity to have more exposure. So true, because it looks like, and also it looks like to me, that with such a large cast, that the filming and schedule demands are probably not as heavy as being on, say, like a real housewives. That’s true. So Sophie bedor makes absolute sense. You could just say you’re friends with Ariana. Bring her on. Ming Lee Batman’s the Kimura has her own reality show coming out. So I that that I don’t know. But again, you know, 5.8 million viewers, I think ups the ante, you know. So you see a name like Lola Consuelos, you see a name like Ming Lee Simmons, and where these are people that probably turned it down season one. When you get ratings like that, I mean, those are bigger ratings than her mom’s and her dad’s talk show in the morning.
Yeah, yeah, that’s true. And what do we think about GIA still being around? Because a lot of cocktails feel like and it’s not that they dislike GIA, because she really does seem like a very nice girl, and her boy, John, is adorable. They’re such a cute couple, they just feel like she doesn’t fit. So I think that if the storyline is her moving to the city, it’s got to be that she’s moving to the city. You can’t continue to drive an hour and a half in, right? I agree. I would be, you know, I would be open to seeing more about what they do. I because I feel like Gio was in a pretty limited role this season. I did like the I liked her boyfriend, and how he quietly had her back during that dinner out at the Jersey Shore. So I kind of see them, them working. I could see GIA being a little salty that Ariana was so beloved by fans and maybe pushing back against her, especially because we know that GIA and Riley don’t get along. They don’t particularly like each other. Wasn’t some huge thing. They just don’t vibe. And that happens with people, and I can Ariana and Riley BFFs. They say that they talk every day, so they’re definitely the leads, and I could see that bothering GIA, because I think GIA went in with the assumption that she would be a lead, and she was actually featured very limited. And if anything, she was like a side part to Brooks, who, although he was heavily featured, was not very interesting. I don’t dislike the boy. He’s adorable, but I can see him taking a back seat. I don’t think he’ll be as prominent Ariana Riley, are gonna have people coming for them, which will make for great drama, because they all want to be the top dog, right? Yeah,

It’s good. I’m glad they’re filming soon, so that we get it. We’re not getting this, you know, 18 month pause in between filming and the show, you know, so that we get it again next year. So we need it a little light. Beverly Hills tea. Since we have the time, I think Amanda, one of the most asked questions in my DMs is, what’s going on with Kyle and Morgan Wade? Yeah, Kyle was in New York on Sunday night at a bush concert. Apparently, Morgan Wade was the opener, and she was there wearing a white sequin bomber. I don’t know. I don’t know if I’m that interested in them. I mean, it would just be nice to know what’s really going on with Kyle. Honestly, I think people have given her space, but at this point it’s like, okay, like, Are you dating or not? It’s a simple and, like, it’s a simple enough question. I agree. I I don’t know how to word this, but it kind of bothers me that it’s almost like she’s making it like being a lesbian is bad. Does that make sense? Right? Not well, but not. That’s the whole thing about Yeah. Like, if it’s we can’t talk about it and we can’t acknowledge it, then that puts a stigma on it, right? Like, if she were dating a man, do we think she would keep it so close to the vest? I don’t, I don’t, either. So what’s the real reason? Is it? Or, you know, or, or maybe, maybe the real reason is, oh, Mauricio doesn’t want her publicly dating as part of the divorce terms that they’re they seem to be working through, but you can make out with young girls in the airport. Well, yeah, I don’t know. Yeah, I don’t know. I have stopped holding out hope that we’re going to get the real answer, though, for sure, and like we heard that there was that spin off with her, if that there’s truth to that, and it’s like for what is she finally gonna tell us what’s going on? Yeah, I doubt it. We love you guys. We will continue to so this, all these emails came in yesterday, so I do have messages sent out to a variety of sources, and we’re trying to piece it together. So as we clear up what’s true and what’s fiction from these emails, I will continue to post it too the website. We love you guys. Love you. Bye.
