Charlie Zakkour may be the breakout “bad boy” of “Next Gen NYC,” but his headline-making behavior didn’t start when Bravo’s cameras started rolling. According to court documents, the reality star was arrested for trespassing and cannabis possession back in 2014. Now, as tensions boil over on screen ahead of the “Next Gen NYC” finale, Charlie’s past—and his pattern of erratic, aggressive behavior—is coming under even more scrutiny.
Charlie Zakkour’s 2014 Arrest Was Quietly Dismissed—but Not Forgotten
Zakkour was arrested in Miami Beach in 2014 and charged with trespassing after warning and cannabis possession. He posted bond the following day and pleaded not guilty in writing. A hearing was scheduled for May 20 of that year, but the case was ultimately dismissed.
According to court records, obtained by the US Sun, the case was marked nolle prosequi—a legal term meaning the prosecution chose to discontinue or drop the charges. While the arrest was later scrubbed from public records, a court clerk confirmed that the case did, in fact, exist.
It’s not the only time Zakkour has found himself in legal or financial hot water. He was spotted at the now-infamous “crypto torture arrest” incident and filed for bankruptcy just two years ago. Despite the sealed records, the dots are starting to connect for viewers who have watched his chaotic on-screen clashes throughout season 1.
Cast Members Say Charlie’s Behavior Isn’t Just for TV
On “Next Gen NYC,” Zakkour has clashed with several castmates—but none more intensely than Georgia McCann. Their feud hit a boiling point over what many viewers considered a minor disagreement, leading to a full-blown meltdown.
Behind the scenes, some cast members have tried to give Zakkour the benefit of the doubt. Gia Giudice suggested that his behavior might be tied to unresolved childhood trauma.
“I think it definitely comes from somewhere,” Giudice shared on a recent episode. “But what you’re seeing on the show is the real Charlie.”
Fans can catch the “Next Gen NYC” season 1 finale July 22 on Bravo.

He’s horrible
Gia the “psychologist” now…just like she is a “lawyer”
So his family paid someone to drop the case and scrub the records….that tracks.
