Bravo is looking for another VPR/Southern Hospitality type show. They have done test work with an all Black cast in Houston. The initial cuts are a bit rough because of the location and lack of “matriarch” like Lisa or Leva Bonaparte, but Bravo sees Houston as the next untapped city, Especially for a more diverse audience.

No offense but Leva doesn’t really bring anything to SC or SH. Even LVP was phased out of VPR towards the last two seasons. So, finding a matriarch isn’t really necessary as long as their chemistry among the cast

Speaking of Bravo “matriarchs,” is anyone watching Sold on SLC? The “matriarch” of that show appears to be one of the worst people I’ve seen on Bravo in a while. There’s a male realtor in the matriarch’s real estate company who does some mean and weird things to several of the female realtors, and the “matriarch” literally takes the guy’s side every single time. And she even tells one of the female realtors to apologize to him. If that’s what they are looking for, count me out.
Love and hip hop tried it and its got deadly biolent mayb bravo can accomplish something but i doubt it in houston
Kandi tried this!!! Her shows had both matriarch and patriarch with her and Todd. But these spinoffs are mad boring, you really need a good cast. So if there is a chaotic group in Houston they can thrive without any matriarch imo
