Real moms of Bravo Abby & Vanessa join B this week. Expect to here about F boys, OC insider scoop , Jersey insider scoop. And all of B and the ladies opinions on everything from VPR to the publicist. Yes, we get into it, we break it down. We laugh and we spill all the tea. It is not to be missed🥂

Welcome to cocktails and gossip, the podcast where we drink cocktails, but you better believe we’re going to spill the tea. We chat reality TV celebrity blinds and the hottest tea from Bravo and cocktails.com
and as always, it’s all alleged. And just for fun, we do not verify our blinds. I’m B and I’m Amanda. Let’s get into this week’s tea. You team.
What’s up? Cocktails. As you guys know, Amanda is away this week, getting married. We are thrilled for her. Can’t wait to hear all about it next week, those of you asking why I’m not there, her and her fiance went to a beautiful location, just them and their kids. So it’s very much a family affair. Otherwise, you guys know I would be there so excited, joining me today, one of my favorite accounts, I’m sure one of your favorite accounts as well, Abby and Vanessa from the real moms of Bravo. Guys. How are you? I’m so excited. Hi. Thank you so much for having us. I feel like this is wild. We’ve been like DMing and talking to each other for years, and this is the first time we’re really chatting voice to voice. It’s so fun. Internet friends, it’s really are the best types of friends to me. So I’m thrilled to be here. This is Vanessa, by the way, I always like to tell people so you can just not that we sound alike, but just so you know who’s talking. This is Vanessa, one half of real mom, so Bravo, and the other lovely voice is Abby. But thank you so much for having us be I’m so excited. So I you guys, they know Abby and Vanessa know, but you guys don’t know that. Before I had my account, I you probably know I was a fan of all of the accounts, and I listened to real moms of Bravo’s podcast. And when I started my account, my real life friend, Stone Cold daddy, knew real moms of Bravo, I assume, because you guys like the whole parenting thing, right? There’s like crossover, and we know he’s a huge Bravo fan. Exactly, there used to be, like a parent account, share group and just to share things that we were, like, workshopping, and he was part of that with us, yeah. And then just everybody got, like, more people got into it. And then, like, a family, when it gets so big, not everyone can host Thanksgiving dinner anymore. So I went from a fan to a friend because I’m a huge fan of you guys. Love your pod, love your account. We don’t always agree. I think I always think it’s funny, because people think that if accounts are friendly with each other, they have to agree. I like a nice debate Vanessa and I rarely agree on housewives, like, there’ll be like, my favorite housewives are not Vanessa’s favorites, and I think that’s the and same with franchises. Yes, exactly. That’s the beauty of Bravo, is it brings us all together for the drama. But you don’t.
Have to like everyone. And I also understand too, and I think you have the same understanding, B is that everyone serves a purpose, right? I watch a lot of these people, and you don’t have to like like them. I don’t always want to go have dinner and drinks with a lot of them. Some of them, I definitely do. And you guys know who those people are. But other than that, I don’t know I’m like, It’s not that deep. It’s just Bravo. I always say, like, my favorite part is that we will all watch the same scene and have very different reactions, but not to be like all deep and Lovey Dovey, but it feels like, right now, the world is very divisive in general. And somehow, with Bravo, even though we all have different opinions, it like brings us together and we have dialog and conversation and debate without somebody being like, No, you’re wrong, because I took it this way. I think we all enjoy the debate and hearing like, oh, like, you’re on Melissa’s side for this. Tell me why. Like, it’s interesting to see how everyone’s viewing this through a different lens. And I think that’s what makes Bravo so special and fun, and why you look at an event like bravocon, and just like the diversity of the types of people there, it’s predominantly women, but amongst the crowd, you’ll find people of all different ages and backgrounds. So it’s cool, just to get everybody’s take on all the same we’re all watching the same thing, and I know you guys are probably the same. My my favorites change depending on the season, depending on the episode. Sometimes I went into OC this season, and I was like, out for blood with Shannon, because I am as I think most of us are enraged with the drunk driving, and now you have Alexis acting like a buffoon, and I find myself, and I had some followers yelling at me, because last week they were like you were a little bit too defensive of Shannon. And it’s it happens where then all of a sudden you’re flopped, and you’re like, wait a minute, that’s not right. Why are they doing that to her? We flipped last week. We can share some tea with you all. So we had the opportunity to attend the watch party in New York for OC. Shannon VI and Jen from OC were all there, along with Melissa Gorga and Shannon, I was ready to be like, we are here for you. It’s so shitty. What happened with Johnny J and Alexis? Like, we got you and all this shit. And she couldn’t have cared less that we were there. We were definitely like, peons to her, Abby. Her vibe was like, Nah, yeah, she cool. She was very condescending when she would talk to us. Oh, okay, thank you for watching. And I was like, What the fuck? Oh, wow, yeah. So back to I know I never really liked her. I never was like a Shannon. I get again. I get why she’s on the show. I get why she’s a good housewife, but personally, I think she’s obnoxious, self centered and everything else always have. And hearing that, one, it’s not surprising. And two, I’m back to burning her down. I also felt going into it. And even in other seasons too, there’s something like inexplicable about Shannon, where you find yourself somewhat feeling sorry for her or sympathizing with her, and I think it’s because she’s have a, like, kind of a rough journey, and she makes sure everyone knows about it, like her husband cheated on her, then part of that she had, like, weight gain and trying to, like, learn to love herself again, and then having like, relationships with some, like, people that really were toxic for the drinking piece of it. It’s God, like you just want to see her somehow make it through all this. But yeah, after last week, I’m like, All right, I guess I’ll just, I don’t wanna say I’m Team Jesus jugs, but I’m just team no one with it. I will add though I have not always been Vicky’s biggest fan, and she and I were, like, holding hands and having an emotional heart to heart and crying to one another. But you have Shannon, who could care less to be there, and then Vicki, who was like, so, like, genuinely appreciative and like, really wanted to connect with not just me, like she was doing it with so many other people. So I will give, I like to give housewives credit when they are very appreciative and gracious to the fans, and I would put Vicky in with that. I have to tell you, I have heard many times that Vicky is very nice, like, so you guys like my account, does we get like, locals writing in and people have many times said, like, I know Vicky’s wacky on the show, but she’s lovely. She’s a lovely person. She’s always kind, she’s always friendly. So yeah, it’s interesting, because I wouldn’t necessarily expect that from her, but I’ve heard it a lot. I’ve expected like, a diva complex with her, because she’s always like, I’m the OG of the OGs. And even on the show, I think sometimes she can be a little bit high and mighty, but she is not. She was not like that at all. She they were so I didn’t know what to do. I like, turned around and I wanted to laugh, because I just didn’t know what to do, because they were holding hands and crying and talking about being Trailblazers for working women. I know I did call I was like, you were a trailblazer for working women. I love it. She, yeah, she at the time, I was in college watching it, and there weren’t a ton of women on these type of shows that were building their own success and wealth. And so I do give her a lot of credit for that. You look back on housewives and the people that got on the show were because of their husband’s success, yeah, and wealth. You do what?
You like her or not she is. She has a strong work ethic, and I think she’s those people that’s always a fighter. I don’t think Vicky will ever be fully Down and Out in anything in life. She’ll find a way to get out of it. Oh, for sure, she’s a hustler. And yeah, I lot of respect for her. I have a question for yes, we sorry before you go ahead. Okay, so you said your favorites change? Does that are your the blinds that you receive? Does that influence, like your opinions, aside from watching them? Has that changed with people? It really sucks when I get stuff on people. I like that sucks, but I listen at the end of the day I’m posting it, and I think people and you guys will understand this, and that’s why it’s always great to do pods with other accounts, because we can relate to each other. We’re human. We have opinions, like there are people that rub us the wrong way. But when I get perfect example, I got somebody wrote in that they met Teresa and Louis in the Hamptons, and they had a lot of fun with them, and they were lovely, etc. I shared it as a post because, number one, I need contact content right click on my website. But number two, it’s, I try to be fair. I’m not the Wall Street Journal. I don’t claim to be correct on anything, but I think it’s like shitty if I get and I always hear that Theresa is lovely. That’s another person they say she’s great to fans. She’s a sweetheart in person. And I share those things right now, Louie, we know. We all know what he is, but whatever, I’m not going to not share it. So yeah, it does change. It doesn’t make me think Louie’s a nice person, but it does make me look differently at people I think are nice. An example of somebody is somebody. I don’t know if you guys caught it, my listeners, I hope you did. But Abby and Vanessa had a show at the city winery. Congratulations. That was super cool with you West. And I have to tell you, I’ve received a lot of stuff in my DMs about West. I know that he’s a friend of yours. He’s from your hometown of St Louis, but I have to tell you, he’s a fuckboy in New York City. I don’t know how he is when he’s at home. At home,
but in the streets of Manhattan, he’s getting it in. He’s going to meet and greets, and he’s banging on the way out. I’m just saying, you know, part of it too, not to be like quest apologists, but we probably are gonna be. There is something when someone is like, from where you’re from, and he’s actually from Columbia, Missouri, which is right in the middle of Missouri, for those who aren’t familiar, but that’s but that’s the it’s a college town where Vanessa and I went to college, so we bonded over our favorite spots. And like, when he describes where he like, grew up, we know exactly where it is. So I think there’s just, you just have a familiarity. But I also sometimes people like, he’s such a fuck boy. Why didn’t he settle down with Sierra? I’m like, he is a 29 year old male who is getting all this attention, being told how great he is, how funny he is, all the DMS of people wanting to hook up with him. I don’t fault him. It’s no different. I get that he probably could have handled it a lot better with Sierra, and we did push a little bit on that with the live show. But I look at people like Austin and Shep, and I feel like everyone, oh, that’s just how they are. It’s just boys being boys. And I do feel like Wes at that reunion. His feet were really held to the fire more than maybe some other men on Bravo that we’ve seen behave this way. I don’t know if maybe this, hopefully that’s a sign of the times, though, even the lecture, we’re getting sick of seeing guys like that. So we’re like, you know what? You’re not just gonna get away with it how Shep did for a decade. And I think it’s done. I think it’s good. Oh, my only point was my The only thing that bothered me is I was like, all four Yeah, let’s the bar for men is so low. Like, I when I talk to my single friends, I’m like, I feel terrible for you because a text back within four days is, oh, wow, they’re interested. I’m like, No, that’s not okay. Like, the bar is so low. So I’m glad that even Andy was you probably could have communicated to her better. Why did you bring her home? But then we didn’t say anything to Kyle cook for calling his wife a fucking bitch on TV. It’s I just want some consistency. I have to tell you the truth. I have a hot take on the Sierra. I’m less than love to hear it. I so I do think he’s a fuck boy. Yes, I do think the new fame. Yes, I honestly think that. I don’t have to tell you how gorgeous Sierra is we all have? I Yeah, and I think he was very taken with her. I honestly think that he wasn’t in love with her, and he didn’t want to make that commitment to her. I don’t necessarily think he’s a forever fuck boy. I really we don’t know that yet, time will tell. Of course, if you see a beautiful woman and she’s nice, and all the things that Sierra is smart, and everything, you’re going to want to hook up with her, you’re going to want to get to know her. But maybe when he got to know her, and I’m just saying, maybe, I don’t know, maybe he is an F boy, and he’ll do it to every girlfriend, but maybe when he got to know her, he’s, you know what, she’s not the one. And I don’t want to settle down and be committed to just her for a year or two, and because I’m not that into it in that way, I like her. She’s beautiful, but she’s not somebody I want to be with long time. Absolutely, that’s okay, too. I think something in talking with him and just getting to know him that was different with Sierra and just being on reality TV is most of the times when he was in situationships.
Right, it would end and he’d never have to see the person again. So having to see Sierra is like a whole new world for him in terms of, I think, holding himself accountable and doing better in those types of situations. That said, we’re both married, so we don’t dive too much into his dating life. We do try to tell him that just because you turn 30, your life isn’t over, you can still have fun and stuff, just be like responsible. I like to think we’re guiding him. We’ll be guiding him through his 30s and trying to coach him through any fboy moves he makes. So just know that I do enjoy that he has you to as life coaches. It makes me feel good for him, because I think he needs it. Listen, what got we listen Jesse Solomon could have been in the same situation. He got lucky, because he didn’t hook up with anybody, and this year he’s hooking up with Lexi. Now the difference is and so this is where things are gonna It’s a flip, because we’re all all in on Jesse for the most part, right? As a fan base, we like him. He’s funny, he’s cute, he’s tall, which matters a lot in Bravo world. For whatever reason, you get a pen. If you’re above six two, you get a pass on a lot of things. Yeah, and we don’t know this girl from a can of paint, so we’re coming into it where if he fucks her over, he’s not going to get the reaction at the reunion that Wes did, right? Because as a fan base, we knew Sierra, and our loyalty, although we liked Wes, our loyalty ultimately lied with her, whereas with Jesse, if something falls through with him and Lexi, our loyalty is gonna lie with most likely him. It’s possible she can win us over in the first season, but it’s unlikely, and I hate to say it, women can be petty, and she is gorgeous. She looks like Lala, so there’s a great chance that we’re going to be like, Oh, who does she think she is? Until we’re used to her and grow to like her? Yeah, I 100%

And I also think too, in the Bravo world, it’s if you rise up really fast production. I don’t wanna say the fan base necessarily, but I just feel like people who have quick rises, like unexpected rises, sometimes can fall just as quickly, like I as Wes was like, mid season, and McSweeney also, I would say Heather gay. She’s been up, down, up, down. And I remember I loved Heather so much in the beginning, because I was like, Oh my gosh, someone who’s not a size zero, someone who’s just being real, I really and then I feel like it got to her head a little bit. And mid season Wes is being told you’re the new number one guy in the group. All these things. There’s all these like publications are wanting to interview him. And I remember saying to Vanessa, I’m worried for the fall, because you just know as someone’s being built up, it’s going to happen. In some ways. I think for him, it happening at the reunion is a good thing, because we also love a comeback. Look at Erica, Jane. We all hated her, and now we’re back. She’s not that terrible. So for him to have it during the reunion, I’m like, maybe he’ll have a little bit of the comeback this season. Our advice to him, too was like, stay single. You can have some fun, random makeups. Stay single. Don’t bring any girls back to the house. Let this be a season of just west being West. Anything that’s going to further people being annoyed, because Sierra, listen, we all want a storyline, and Sierra’s definitely going to play into that trope of, oh, look at him. He’s making out with a girl at a party kind of thing. I would. I really want to see Sierra date somebody not like in her past, or I want to see how she is when it’s maybe we’re just seeing dates, but we’re not. I just want to hear from it more from her perspective, because we.
Seen her with Austin, and we’ve seen her with Wes, but when it’s in those situations, you’re equally hearing both sides. And I look back at maya, even when she first started dating Oliver, it was fun to really more see it just from her perspective. And so I would like to see Sierra date somebody not in the house. I also would love to see Sierra like, fall in love and get married, because I think ultimately, that’s what she wants. Yeah, that’s what she wants. And God, can you imagine? You bring up good you bring up a good point. Because I think we also have to remember as viewers how that affects their standing on the show. So in Maya’s case, Oliver was willing to film. So although he wasn’t a cast member, we got to see him and feel like we knew what was going on if Sierra dates somebody who’s off camera, and even if, sometimes, if they’re willing to film, like in Andreas case, those single shows, they really only want you in a couple, if you’re both from the show, or you’re both in the world of Bravo, like Paige and Craig, they don’t want Sierra to get some random guy. And now she’s no longer the model who’s single and gonna hook up that can get you cut from a cast. I could see Sierra, though, leaving the show for love. I think for her, ultimately, like she wants to be, I think for her she wants to really, I think she wants to have a career on her own. But I think for her, like, modeling is like perfect, because she could take a little bit of a break, raise some kids, or be modeling for more, like Mom Where, but I think for her, like, ultimately, that she that’s what she wants, and that’s great, and I hope she finds it. But I could see her leaving the show for true love. I don’t think other past members possibly would. I’m really curious, too, as we’re talking about people who want to film and don’t want to film for Lindsay Hubbard, obviously, we know she’s pregnant, but her boyfriend the and I hate saying like, baby daddy, but I the father of her child, wants to keep his identity private, even though it’s already been leaked, does not want to film. I’m just really curious how that’s going to work out for her long term too. Like, how are you just going to leave the baby? That’s the question the law, yeah, with the nanny? Yeah, so long term, I don’t see there’s a world where she could be a full time cast member again, unless the show changed, and even if it did, and they started focusing on the families, right? Let’s say they all got a condo. Let’s Melrose Place this jam, if the guy doesn’t want to film. I don’t know if anyone could do it. It’s Lindsay, because she’s interesting. But, yeah, I don’t know where that I always I don’t look back to Cameron from southern charm, because remember Jason. I think that’s her husband’s name. He wasn’t on camera a lot of the times, and eventually he attended, like, some of the events and stuff with her. And I remember her decision ultimately, to leave the show. She’s I’m being such a hypocrite, because here I am speaking about everyone’s relationships, but I won’t be real about my own. So that ultimately ended up in her decision, and I commend her for that, for one being like self aware in that, but I think about that a lot with this Lindsay and this guy and you situation and moving forward like it is, it would be hypocritical if she’s Don’t talk about my man. But here I am asking you, Kyle and Amanda, like, what’s going on here? Like, it that doesn’t slide. And I think as viewers went, Yeah, and as time went, Cameron is such a great example, Vanessa, because as time went, I found myself feeling very disconnected from her and just not interested, because I don’t really care about your opinion on who she’s hooking up with, what’s going on in your world or by I love it gives that same energy for me. I agree with you, and I like lava, but it’s similar, like we never see Lamar. We get glimpses of her son, but it’s like very similar energy. And I get from their perspective, they’re trying to protect their loved ones. But I also think, I think Madison has found a fine balance with Brett. We get snippets of him on social media. He’s there and is just smiling. Hello, nice to meet you. He’s not trying to get involved in the drama. But I think if you’re gonna be dating or be married to one of these reality stars, you’re gonna have to, I, if it were me, I’d be like, you’re gonna have to, like, show up. And just say hello. You don’t have to get involved. Or she’s gonna have to not show up. Yeah? So it’s like one of those choices. You go Cameron’s way, or you go Madison’s way. You either stand in the crowd and have the conversation with Austin, where you nod, but they have some content, or your girls got to go exactly. What’s your prediction for the future of summer house? Just knowing, with hubs being pregnant, we have our own thoughts, but I’m curious, like, what, how you think the show’s gonna evolve? I think that they were very happy with Jesse and west. I think that Danielle’s exit is a sign that the turnover is happening. It’s the kind of show where you can gradually turn it over, as opposed to a housewives. You know what? I mean, you don’t always need I just got a call. I disconnected my phone, obviously wrong, because I’m so tech savvy and I still got a call. Of course, it was a scam, likely I forgot what I was saying, but I think Kyle is gonna hold on to that show for dear life. But wow, does it become inappropriate and creepy that like a 40.
Five year old dude is sharing a house with a 25 year old girl. Not for me. I don’t know why things ago. Yeah, it just, there’s times I get the ick and it’s, you’re becoming the creepy uncle. It’s just, I don’t know I get he’s married, but he’s still, I think sometimes can be a little inappropriate. I could see, like, a the valley type of thing too. Like you said, are they gonna get like, a condo, or some of them move to like more of a suburb, and it follows them more as parents and like that part, and then we still have summer houses. Some feels like, in some ways, they’re almost trying to pass the baton to a West and a Jesse. I think bring in newer, younger girls is the same hope. Could we get maybe a little bit of a younger group and slowly transition it and split the show with like, is like, with the Valley, which, oh, we’ll get to, I need your opinions on all that mess. But with the valley, they legitimately all live close enough to each other. So like, the idea that Paige, Amanda Lindsey are all gonna move to the same suburb in Jersey or Westchester is, like, not feasible, but there is a world where they can do, like, a summer house trip, right? Maybe they all get a I don’t know. There’s ways to do it. It’s also hard because, like, I would love to see the show continue with some of, like, the originals, like a spin off, but like, at the end of the day, Lindsay isn’t really friends with Paige and Amanda, so to your point, like, she’s not going to move to the same suburb their kids, let’s just say, hypothetically, Amanda and Kyle get pregnant this summer, and we’ll have a kid close in age to Lindsay, their kids aren’t going to hang out. Like it’s that’s not really. I think that’s the whole point of the valley, is they all actually all live close together. We’re actually friends. And then you have some of that organic chemistry of some of the Vanderpump people also being truly friends with them. That’s why we had Lala and Sheena like in the mix. I know they’re also hardcore campaigning to join that show, but I just Yeah, I feel, and I’m sure you guys get this too, going to the valley. I feel like there’s a lot of backlash on Lala and Sheena trying to get on the show. But in all reality, they do hang out. Now, are they around more because they want to be on the show, possibly. But could they easily mesh? Were they on the first season here and there? Yes, are their kids the same age? Yes, I’m not so opposed to it. Also, from, like, my limited knowledge of LA and the suburbs, it does seem like it’s better schools in the valley, you get more house for your money, like I could see, like Lala is having another kid if she wants a bigger house and also wants to be around other young families and in a good like area for schools like it does seem like it’s a natural transition to go to the valley. So it’s not like, I don’t to me. It’s not like she was like, living in like San Diego and moved to the Valley for a show. I don’t think it’s that far fetched of an idea. I know they’re not doing it this season, but it wouldn’t shock me if the next season three of the valley, if that’s where they introduce transition Sheena and Lala, once they determine what they’re going to be doing for VPR, I think that can be spin off territory. I personally don’t see Ariana coming back to VPR. I see I also, I think Sheena and Lala, if that’s the case, if the cast is going to be in shambles a little bit, I can see it either being like, I just see them all, each kind of getting some sort of spin off, or, like, a special or something of some kind. But I definitely think the writing’s on the wall with VPR. do you think? Okay, so I agree with you, with Ariana, but one possibility is, do we think it’s possible to not do it fully Jersey style? Because we saw that with like, two separate but do we think it’s possible for the next season of VPR and possibly the last season? I don’t know, as long as it’s making money. We can never say last, right, because this is a business at the end of the day. But is it a possibility where, like, they focus?
On Ariana and Katie and maybe Dana and like people they hang with at their business, at their restaurant, doing their thing. And then there are times they get together with everybody, and maybe there’s a little drama, and they talk about it a little bit like that kind of thing. Like James acts as the bridge to get them all to his DJ event. And there’s a little fight, but the bulk of it is like Tom being a crackhead with his new girlfriend and dressing like rock star, like with Tom Schwartz, looking like he doesn’t know where he is. And then there’s a way to make I think there’s definitely, I think, yes, you bring up lots of good points. I think there’s definitely a way to make that happen. I think this group has been so integrated in each other’s lives for so long that I could see it happening in that way. I think it’s whether or not we as viewers would find it authentic when they’ve given us so much over the years, is whether or not we’re gonna buy into it. And it feels natural to watch. And Ariana has the has the issue that we were just discussing where her boyfriend lives in New York City, and she said like they’re gonna stay bicoastal, so as long as she’s dating him and he’s not on. That’s a big portion of her life that we’re not seeing. So she’s not with the larger group, and she’s not showing that part of her life. It becomes disjointed, yeah. And I also feel like, I think the only way Ariana comes back as if, like, Katie wants or needs her too, so that Katie can remain on there. Because honestly, Ariana doesn’t need it. She’s booked and busy. Love island had the best ratings it’s ever had. It took. I like, have never been a love Island person. I’m like, do I go back and watch because everyone’s been talking about it, and I’m sure some of it has to do with the people on the show, but a lot of it also is the Ariana effect. She’s going back on Broadway. I think she’s going to continue to get really good opportunities. I don’t think she necessarily needs reality TV, I also write the vibe that Katie is I could take her leave reality TV like I’ve loved the evolution of Katie, and that she’s so confident that she truly does not give a fuck the Edit she gets what people think of her. She’s just being herself, and I think she’s I’ll be good with my sandwich shop and living my life if you want me on the show. Great. If not, I’m gonna keep living my life the same way, whereas, like Sheena and Lala, I think are a little bit more a little bit desperate a lot. They want it they and that’s okay. I get it a lot of money. I would, I was gonna say monetarily like you bring up a good business. Be a good business. A good point be about this being a business. And I do think obviously Money talks with their seasons, getting continuously to get great ratings, Emmy nominations. I could see aside from Ariana, but I could see the rest of the cast members being enticed with that paycheck, because it’s like, what four months of filming for? Can they even afford Ariana at this point? Then I feel like her, the budget for her would be extremely high, if you think people are bitter now, wait till Ariana is getting double the check and their checks get cut, especially like a Lala and Ashina, that is not going to sit well with them. It’s a Q score, which I don’t have any freaking idea what that actually means, but clearly Ariana has got a high Q Score. Now I and we can all appreciate Lala and Sheena’s point, because they rightfully feel like they bring more, they stir it, they do this, they do that. But at the end of the day, people just love Ariana.
Sheena. A lot of people don’t like her. It doesn’t mean she’s not good reality television, right? I was just gonna say that, like, yeah, I want to say to people, be careful. Of I would say, don’t call for someone’s head, because, just because someone isn’t likable, you need that on a cast. You need someone who’s going to stir it up. You need someone that you love to dislike. I think Bravo. Learned that with Tamara. I think that I remember that season. And you girls remember where we were calling, we were all like, get her off enough. And then when she left, we’re like, wow, this shows, yeah, absolutely, it was pain. I watched without her. I’ve had several discussions about this, but I think in general, with a lot of these veteran Bravo shows and cast members, that they need to start going a little bit the Kardashian route of breaking the fourth wall more. And just like those conversations that Sheena and Lala were having behind the camera. Just have it on camera. Just talk about it. In Dubai, Caroline Brooks is straight up calling to lean a beggar and say, You begged me to be on this show. I just think we are too smart, like just have these conversations on camera. And that’s enough content. I think in the show of itself is just the jealousy that comes along with this person getting this opportunity, or, Hey, I’m doing this and you’re not doing that, like I’d still watch that like that, to me, is where they need to go and be more comfortable going there. I and I think it’s starting to happen. I think we’re seeing it a little bit, and I agree with you. It’s we all know that you’re on a show. Yes, I don’t know why. I don’t know why we’re saying when we were in New York, it’s you mean at the reunion taping, because that’s why you were in New York. Exactly. So the valley’s in production. Speaking of the valley, I listen you girls. Seem like me. I hate to keep calling you, you girls. I should be saying you ladies. I still call men. I say girls that I keep us young. I like ladies, right? Yeah.
Girls, ladies, whatever. I hate when people say women. I don’t know if, to me, that just sounds like older. Or what about when you’re like at the grocery store and the teenager at checkout calls you ma’am. I’m like, you could stick with myths
also, yeah, really rough, I think, in the Midwest and apparently in Canada. Apparently, Canada and the Midwest are very similar, but it’s that you grow up. Anybody who’s more than 10 years older than you, you’re supposed to refer to them as ma’am as like, a sign of respect, and it’s pushed into your head. So like, you’re 28 at a grocery store and someone’s, do you need help with that? Ma’am? I’m like, ma’am, I am 30. Like, why are you Hamming me? Yeah, it is. It that is, I always not want to be I just think ma’am just sounds right. Yeah, anyhow, say, but Okay, so I loved it. I I didn’t know what to expect. I didn’t think I’d love it as much as I did. I want to know your thoughts and can we discuss Janet girls, don’t tell me you like her. No, I actually, I think she’s unnecessary. She serves a point. Yes, I don’t dislike her. I think I look at her as like a character, a little bit like I I don’t, I don’t love her, but I’m like, not like hating her. I just think she’s a necessary evil and a popster. And that’s how I feel about everyone on the valley. I don’t think anyone in particular where I’m like, oh my god, I stand this person. You are like everything. I just think they all are a little bit crazy in their own ways. I do think so. Jada was been, oh, he’s an angel. Yeah, I poor. I know I was just gonna say, I feel like he doesn’t really know what he signed up for, still, but I will say, I think for Janet, it was a mess and a fail to try to isolate out Kristen, because part of why everyone was potentially excited to watch was because it was the return of Jackson Kristen. Whether you like them or not, it was like you either wanted to see them not have changed at all, or maybe you were hoping they changed. But for the most part, people were tuning in to see them again. And I think Janet’s attempts to ice her out, I think failed. When you look at how the viewers respond to it, and a lot of them were like, I wanted to see more of Kristen. I will say, when they announced the valley, I was like, I’m not even gonna watch this, because to me, it just screamed desperation and thirst, which it 100% is. But I almost feel like Jax and Kristen and Brittany were like, Yeah, we get it. We’re thirsty for the paycheck. We missed the fame. Yeah, and they weren’t like, really hiding that, like, they weren’t very they weren’t apologetic. They were just like, This is who we are. And I think some of the other cast, like, picked up on it too, to the point where it was pretty entertaining, and it was almost like, I think what we’re wanting a little bit more of Vanderpump, right? A little bit more of like, a breaking the fourth wall, or a little bit more of like, really saying how you feel about people when the cameras rolling. Were you surprised when Brittany and Jax announced their separation? Yes and no. I mean, I never thought they’d last forever, but I thought in my head, I’m almost like, I’m honestly really proud of Brittany. In my head, I thought she was, I’m like, she’ll she’s the type that will continue to forgive him, because she wants to be like, Mrs. Couchy. She just wants to be alive and a mom, and I’m actually really proud of her to be like, No, I deserve more than this. And like Jax even said it, she’ll never leave me, and I’m glad she did, but I just wonder if she’ll actually end up divorcing, like filing and moving forward with that. What’s your thoughts be? I agree with what Abby said. I so. I never thought they would last forever. I pictured it to play out like now that they were back making money, she would tolerate more, I thought, based on what we saw the first season of the valley, I thought she was very motivated to have another child. And we know we’re women. We know that when you’re in your 30s, you have one, you want to have another one, because then it can get too late and all of those things. So I really thought she’d pop out a second kid, and then maybe then I then anything goes, whether the fame dried up and there were money issues, they’d split, or he was just out dropping it like it was hot, they would split. Still on TV, but I thought that they would go a little bit longer, because I thought that she would get that second baby. Do you think on this season, they’re going to bring up the publicist. No, I don’t think they will. And this is what’s very interesting. And you guys like me, we get receipts. I believe something went down with the publicist, personally, allegedly to cover you, allegedly, like my opinion is I believe what I was sent. But I’m going to say this, people want to know, so why was Brittany in the Bahamas with her? Here’s what I think, I think a couple things. I think, first of all, the publicist is married, so she’s denying it. They’re not like, really getting together if something happened, it was very much a drunken whatever. So there’s that, right? So it’s not like they’re going to go out there and be dating and something like that. So it’s, she’s denying it too. That’s number one. So I think there is a possibility that Britney chooses to believe her. I think another possibility is that this publicist is very tied to their money making events. These are not rocket scientists, brat bratney Jax, nor Brittany. Are we?
Capable of going out there, finding different representation. But this woman has been with them a long time. It’s all Britney knows. She has all these events, probably already on the slate, and it’s the kind of thing where she’s just moving ahead. She’s we’re separated, she they say it didn’t happen. You know what I’m saying? I think that people really are like, Oh my god, I can’t believe she’s with her Yeah, because we’re like, normies living in our house with her husband, and if our friend may or may not have banged him one night in a bar, we’re probably never going to speak to her again. But this is a totally different platform. This is somebody who runs her business. She’d be out money. She probably has brand deals. She’s going to her probably now with her tail between her legs. Oh my god, I got you on this trip to the Bahamas. Oh my god, I have this. I have that. You know what I’m saying. So I just think it’s that like that scenario, whichever way it’s mixed together. I don’t believe that nothing happened. I don’t believe they’ll bring it up on the show because the woman is married, they very much want to play like this never happened. Everybody involved. Interesting. I think you’ve nailed it, honestly, in terms of your analysis of all of that. It’s just wild. I just think Brittany, it’s just gonna be really this kind of, honestly. That explanation, to me, reiterates the fact that I don’t think she’s gonna file divorce from him, like, in order to, like, turn a blind eye like that and just continue on with business. To me, this feels like we’re, I hate to say it like this, we’re a brand. Like, I feel like JAXA has mentioned it like that with the two of them, yeah, between the bar the podcast and like, now the valley, they obviously share a child. I can see her riding this wave until the checks start to dry up. Life is what you make it. So what are you making? Healthier choices, new friends, new beginnings, whatever you’re making in life. I’m sure Lori probably explained to her too, like, you’re worth more together like I do think financially, they’re not in a position where it’s just rolling in and they don’t necessarily need the show or the brand deals. So to maintain the lifestyle they want, I think certain decisions have to make. It would be expensive for them to divorce, and so I think both of them probably know that’s likely not going to happen. I could also see Lori getting in Britney’s head, being like, Jax is willing to do X, Y and Z to make you look better when he comes back to you, like, really put Britney in a position of power. And I just, I think there was a lot of like, conversation of how this looks. Let’s build a storyline. And I’m sure Lori was instrumental in that, because she’s worked with them for so long, no one would know them better than her, and I think Lori’s probably smarter than the both of them. I don’t want to sound like an asshole, but I just am, I’m. I tell it like it is, and I just think that she’s smarter and she knows how to play them as PR people do. I know I’ve dealt with I’m gonna go and guess that you guys have, especially in my early days, PR people reaching out to me and trying to, like, influence or get me to stop posting certain things. And I’m always just listen, I get it like, I 100% get it good on you. You’re doing your job. But no, I think that’s the thing with when you’re running accounts like ours, you do they’re all, it’s all, it’s a business for them. And so you also have to think like, what, not what’s in it for me. But if I post this, do I agree with it? If a publicist sends us something and we’re like, oh yeah, we would have posted that anyway. We’ll do it, yeah? But if it’s like, they’re sending it to us, and it’s, I don’t even think this is accurate, or I don’t like this person, so why am I, like reposting like, a brand deal for them? We won’t. We just do it, yeah? Or if I think something happened, or if I have an opinion on something, like a reality star was spotted out doing XYZ and I make a post about it, if they’re going to ask me to take it down? No, respectfully, why should I? We’ve never publicist asked us to take things down, necessarily. We have had housewives. This was like a couple years ago. I.
I have a very much, like, a dialog about, hey, I don’t that’s not, like, factual, and here’s like, what happened, or, like, I find this, like, slightly offensive, and here’s why. And we’ve, in those cases, we’ve removed it if we felt like we were agreeing with them, or they brought, like, a different perspective to it for us. But we typically don’t have PR people asking us to take things down, but usually the things, if we’re posting something like strong, like, we feel strongly about somebody, it’s usually someone that, like, it’d be really hard to defend, like Jen Shah, for example. Like I right early on, actually, it was like episode two, when she kept talking about how her party for Meredith was $80,000 I was like, my gut tells me she’s the next Teresa. I’m not buying what she’s selling. So I early on was, like, posting negative stuff about her, and she just blocked us. And I think a few of her people of the Shaw squad, were like, That’s not true, but it all turned out to be true. It’s interesting with some of them, 100% Yeah. Jen Shah, what a mess she was. I like, stopped posting about her altogether once she was found guilty. I was like, I won’t be posting about this person. Wait. Do you want to hear something hilarious, though? So I Oh, yeah, I forgot about that, Leon, but I wrote her two letters in jail. She never responded. But I used my personal I used my I used my personal name, hoping, like, she wouldn’t know it was, like, tied to the account. But I really just wanted to see, is she writing people back in jail? But that was, like, months ago, and then I haven’t heard anything. So I don’t think I’m getting a response from Jen Shah from prison. I like, forgot about her until you guys brought her up. I need, like another photo. Remember, like the Barbie competition, or whatever they did. I need, like another in touch, exclusive of Jen Shah’s update with Elizabeth Holmes in prison. I was there with Elizabeth Holmes two of all people like, what scam are those two cooking up? Oh, God, could you imagine what’s happening in there? I’m like, Oh, he’s, like, worried. I’m like, is it gonna be, like, because the two of them together, like, it’s like, evil genius. I’m like, is it gonna be something that, like, majority of us are gonna fall for? Probably got poor Andy Cohen, he was out like, hundreds of 1000s of dollars over a scam. Yeah, it’s really, I the thing I can never get past. And I’m sure you guys too, and we’re seeing it now in the OC with Jen pedantry’s fiance. Yes, are these people absolutely out of their ever loving mind? Why are you going on a show if you’re doing illegal things? I so badly we saw her at the watch party one I insulted his merch. Literally. I was like, hi, nice to meet you, Ryan. Can I be honest with you, the dick pic merch is awful,
yeah? Just like, we why? And I was like, he was like, production was telling me that someone’s gonna try to take it. And I’m like, I really wanted to be like, sir, no one’s asking for dick pic merch. That is all on you. Jen was like, super, super sweet. And I so badly wanted to be like, blink twice if you need help. Because I know I really do. He was also very nice. I don’t want to say that, but given the shadiness of this allegation, it doesn’t sound good. I will say though he did. We saw him the next day because they were walking in. I somehow so weird. Vicky and Shannon their live show. We were both at City Winery at the same time. It was so bizarre. But they were walking in the same time as wait was their live show before, after yours. Like, what was that? Because I saw them there and I saw you there exact same time. We were just in different rooms. They were in like, the big room for like, 300 people, and we had 115 at ours. And this is another reason why I love Vicky, because she’s like, I told her, I was like, I tried to see if we could switch the times, but it was, like, too close already. She’s had, I known that I would have had you guys open for us. We could have worked together on this. Like, we shouldn’t be competing against each other, which I give her a lot of. I look that’s Yeah, but I will say Jen and her fiance, like, recognized us, and they’re like, Hey, girls. And so I’ll give him some credit for that, but you think he’s a shady person, I would be careful giving that man any money. And I do worry about Jen. I think she’s gonna I saw a tweet that she’s like, Lynn Curtin, 2.0 and I was like, Oh, she is. This is history loving itself. I’m gonna say something that’s gonna make me look like an asshole. Again. I love when a sentence starts like that, yeah, because you know what, I don’t feel sorry for her. She’s a grown ass woman, mother of a whole bunch of kids and period blank. She’s with him for the financial aspect. It doesn’t seem that she cares where he gets his money. She openly said, Oh no, he doesn’t work. And then she, like, tried to, like, in the last episode, tried to backpedal mortgages. He just doesn’t whatever it. Doesn’t have an office, whatever she likes his big, fancy house, and she went from the husband to the new guy. And you get what you get in that situation, and I am not a Gina Stan, but in this and I don’t believe she should have brought the kids up. However, Jen is with this man, yes, okay, maybe she loves him, likes him, whatever the case may be, but she’s also with him for financial security that she’s not willing to or unable to provide for herself right now. So your housewife, you have a yoga studio. Ditch the zero, who is somehow implicated in this gambling scheme he’s named in it, downsize and figure it the four.
Out like a grown ass woman. I’m not going to feel bad for you when he ends up going to jail and you’re on the streets and everything else. No, I’m not, because you see it and I see it, you can’t be that stupid. I don’t think she’s a rocket scientist, but she’s not. She’s not what Vicky taught all of us in 2003
I think it was if you don’t have financial independence, then you do not have your independence as a woman. And I think we’ve seen it countless times on housewives, but Jen’s a classic example. She’s just depending on also for finding I feel like this is the classic east coast, first Midwest, because here Abby and I are bees like, can I be an asshole for a minute? And we’re like, yes, but then we’re also like she was nice, but we’re just trying to dance around it. I just love that. I do hope there’s such a difference of three idiots. You guys met her in person too. We all know all of that when you are nice to you and you understand, it’s hard to talk shit about them. I still will, but it’s if you’re an idiot and an asshole, then I will go in on you without any feeling, any bit of guilt, but not that I feel guilty talking about her. To your point, she’s a grown ass woman. If it were anybody else in that situation, they would have, they’d have to figure it out much harder on their own. At least she’ll have the show to fall back on. But yeah, I think she can’t play victim forever, too. I would love to know more of what really went down with her and her husband, because, like, her family is still, like, on her soon to be ex husband’s side. I think that she left him, yeah, I don’t know. I don’t know if she necessarily cheated. I think there’s a gray area there. But I think that she left the marriage. She wasn’t happy in the marriage. We spoke about her settlement last week. I was under the impression that he had a lot of money, like her family obviously has money, but he’s probably a salaried employee, so maybe, you know what I mean, yeah, while they were married, maybe the family subsidized them. So like, he earns a salary from whatever this company is, and I don’t think he’s working for the company anymore. I don’t know whatever the case is. Yeah, her settlement wasn’t impressive by the standards of somebody with money. It wasn’t Shannon Madore money. And I think it feels like too he might have the kids more than she does, so that could play into it as well. True, true, yeah, I think she left the marriage. And again, there’s no judgment on that either. That’s men do it all the time. Whatever floats your boat. I just if you’re going to leave a marriage, maybe best to not be reliant on the next one to pay for you plan so, like, maybe build your career before you leave, hon, before. Like, no, you’re expecting a settlement. You’re and when that doesn’t come, on time, you’re just moving into the new guy’s house, which you don’t know how he makes his money, but he lives in a fancy ass house looks like Vicky’s house that she used to live in, beautiful, and he’s beautiful. His house is beautiful. But the other thing too is, okay, you want to be a your yoga instructor, and that’s amazing about do you need to own a yoga studio? Could you go teach somewhere else? Such a good point? And maybe not have the overhead dingbat? It seems like she’s, I’m not even making money on the yoga studio. Oh, sell it, and maybe you’ll get a little bit of money for selling the studio. She’s probably renting it, though. But then go teach somewhere and or, god, there’s enough people in laws County. Be a private yoga instructor in someone’s home. They’re gonna pay you a shit ton of money for that. Be a life coach. Petty built a business on it, right or wrong? Why can’t Jen use your platform now? Okay, I know we’re getting close to the ends here, but I got to ask you guys. I’m not I know Vanessa had a hard stop. So I don’t know if she’s still with us. I think she jumped, but I am. I’m all yours, yes, Abby, I need you to tell me your thoughts on jersey. I’m hearing it’s not coming back. I hope that’s not true. Nobody hopes that I’m a jersey I’m not a Jersey girl. I’m a New York girl. But like, I relate the most to that show. I know a lot of people like that. It’s.
Toxic right now it is really toxic. I don’t know how you make it untoxic, because I feel if you do a spin off and you allow Teresa to be the main figurehead, you’re almost rewarding her behavior. I thought her post yesterday was comical, how she’s it’s be it’s dark, and please stop as if she hasn’t contributed to the darkness and the toxicity. I also get really annoyed when housewives try to say, like, all of the toxicity is coming from the fans. I’m like, you’ve got Jennifer Aden intentionally leaking things to quote bloggers, but Instagram accounts, you’ve got Teresa and Louie like, calling up John fudas, the mother of his child who’s incarcerated. That’s really fucking shady. So I don’t know, like, I don’t think we should be rewarding Teresa’s bad behavior. I’m not a huge Melissa fan. I don’t think a show like of the Gorgas could stand on its own. I like Jen Fessler, messy fessy, I don’t think she’s enough to though, to stand on her own. It’s so hard. I don’t know what the future of it is. It’s not working with the two sides not talking, yeah, they’re not going to come together. It’s, I don’t really know what they do. And I don’t think a full reboot works because in Jersey, everyone’s so connected and grew up together that whoever you pick as this new cast is gonna somehow be related to Teresa or to Melissa or to delore. We’re still gonna have a lot of those legacy people somehow in the mix. I think there’s a world where Marge, because Marge can keep it interesting. I think there’s a world where, yeah, Marge, I do too. I agree with you that the Gorgas can’t carry a show, but they can be on an ensemble. Marge, Melissa Fessler, love Fessler. Rachel, I don’t dislike her, but she doesn’t, she doesn’t bother me. Yeah, I agree. And again, I say this, and I know it’s not nice, but I feel like if her husband was better looking, he would get the Gorga effect or the Frank effect. But unfortunately, it just isn’t happening for him. People aren’t really buying into that whole thing. I don’t know. I believe it’s not coming I don’t think it’ll never be back. I think it’s not coming back, and they’re going to take a beat Teresa’s great TV, and it’s very sad to watch her this last episode, and I saw someone on Twitter, tweet, and I don’t remember who I think it was, just like a person, not necessarily account, an account, they said something like, Teresa and her husband were both facing federal jail time. The father of her children was deported, and she never cracked why? Last episode was she telling Dolores, if I faint, call an ambulance? Why was she like, such a nervous wreck? Something is bigger there, there’s something. There’s an it there, yeah, and it’s not just some case that, and it’s not Margaret somehow involved in the case. Yeah, I don’t I, and to that point too, it’s like, it’s so hard because I say don’t reward Teresa’s bad behavior, but also, like, she has given so much to the show. However, I think Theresa is a very I don’t want to say I like the way she said it on this week’s episode, when she’s like, I might not have the biggest vocabulary, but I know what I’m doing in life. And she’s like, really instilled that and her daughters, Gia is going to be on this new show that some of the Bravo and a Manhattan, maybe for Teresa, she would be okay with being a little bit more in the shadows and letting her daughters that want to be part of it. Because we obviously, we know that it seems like her, two of her daughters have no interest really, on being on TV, but Melania and Gia do I think she would be okay if stepping back, if it meant they got more of a shot and could possibly start building their career. I actually said a few pods ago when we spoke about the making it a Manhattan show, I was like, I think a cool thing for Teresa would maybe to be like the mother hen of all the kids and show her meeting with the girls to talk about the drama and bring it back to Teresa being likable, because we all remember when she was Teresa as a mom, is Teresa the best, and I know she’s always a mom, but when she’s like in full mom mode and having the conversations with her daughter, not about the drama in her group, but really Being there for her daughters. I love it. I think has she made some questionable decisions in her life? Sure, but she loves her children. She loves her daughters, and I think she would do anything to give them all the opportunities that they would want in the world. And so I agree. I think that could make her really likable again. It also maybe could let her and Louie work on whatever is happening. I still haven’t seen I’m so annoyed that they put in the trailer like Louie’s pickling all her money, and we still haven’t seen that. What’s going on there, and what about where they’re standing in front of the house, and she we’re not I think that was one of Louie’s bullshit attempts to be like, we should make up with your brother, like, something to make him something to save him, because what we learned last week was she brings up the lawsuit. I’m sure production made her she brings up the lawsuit. She’s a nervous wreck. She’s showing all that. So I think that was his Hail Mary to like, look like a good guy, and she’s, we’re not doing that. They’re not making up with my brother. At least she put her foot down. But I don’t know that’s my thing. If she’s off the show, and if her it’s gonna take a while.
Even when she’s off the show, she is booked, she is busy. She’ll be on a trader, she’ll be on that kind of stuff. But in a couple of years, when it starts to dry up, because they also spend a lot of money. So this is massive. She likes Yeah, things, yeah. She has four girls that she buys fancy cars and college and designer clothes. And so I think if the money starts to dry up, I think he he leaves, and I think he leaves, Bravo’s interested again. And I think Bravo’s interested again. She might be willing to smooth it over with her brother, because then she could blame Lily for everything. Yeah. Or I even think an interesting show is her
single as a single mom with four adult daughters and helping them with their careers and their lives. And she’s interesting enough that I think she, 100% could carry a show on her own. It just it has to be in the right setting. And I think it has not Louie, yeah, yeah. Louis has to be removed from it if they give her spit. I like your I like the making Manhattan. I like your idea with the girls. And maybe Louise coming into the house and being like, all right, I’m going on a work trip. And then she but even him still being with her, married to her, she’s hiding something she’s got him telling her what to and not to do, like this whole blogger thing. That’s not Teresa. No, I that was motivated by him. It’s just that our style, I very much believe she showed up, she filmed, she went about her day, this whole thing, and I think he, I think whatever, I don’t want to say too much about him, because he’s scary, but you know what I’m saying. Okay, I just think that there’s nowhere to go. It sucks, but you can’t do another season like this. The ratings weren’t they weren’t normal jersey, but they were not like. They weren’t as bad as like Dubai, I know, and that makes me sad. I’m really worried Dubai is gone after this season. I’ve actually, I think the reason why I’ve enjoyed Dubai is because Jersey has been just, it feels very like dark and heavy, and everyone hates each other, and Dubai is silly fighting. It’s not as heavy and deep. But that is the thing, though, with jersey, it is one of those franchises that like a bad season of Jersey still beats some mediocre to above average other franchises. It’s a very I love jersey. I’m not as obsessed with it as some, but it is a very large, committed and engaged fan base. And so I think that’s the challenge for Bravo, is like, what do we do? They want more and better. They these fans probably deserve better, but we can’t get rid of it. And there are people that like, love, love Melissa Gorga, and there are people that are tree huggers. And if you’re never gonna please both, it’s it is. I don’t envy them, and I don’t know what you do. And I also under think that they feel like two shows would go like people love, love one love, love the other, but once they separate them, number one, the budget’s too big. And number two, you lose something in the matrix. Yeah, because people you could, they could say, till they’re blue in the face, they’re sick of the toxicity between the gorges and the judiciary ruelases, but people are still tuning in for it. Maybe it’s like a special three part six sit down Andy with the Gorgas and Theresa. I would want it without Louie, but I don’t, I don’t know what they’re gonna have to try to figure I think they’re gonna have to test some things out. I think they’re gonna wait and see how making it make was it? Making it Manhattan does? Yeah, there’s a lot of question works. I would be shocked, a part of me wonders if their plan is to almost either announce the new season or announce their plans at next year’s Bravo con. I think they take a full six months. Yeah. Oh, it’s better. I mean, as things stand, it’s not coming back. I believe that to be true, yeah. I think anybody who has a PhD in Bravo, as we do, Abby, believes that to be true.
