127. Valley tea keeps brewing; Potomac daddy drama; Is financial betrayal worse than cheating?

First, our thoughts and love go to those affected by Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The tea on the Valley keeps coming, and we seemingly have an unpopular opinion about it. Is Vanderpump Rules filming being held up by egos? Speaking of VPR, there’s a tie to Momtok and Scheana’s talking to anyone and everyone about it. Potomac is back. Mia comes in hot with the daddy drama. Karen takes no accountability for her DUI – despite the fact that she is charged with 8 different counts and will be facing a trial. The new housewives are promising. On RHONY, of course we’ve got to talk about Abe and Erin’s marital issues. Is financial betrayal worse/as bad as cheating? B’s got opinions about Brynn, and why won’t Becky Minkoff talk about her religion? 

What’s up? Cocktailers, Amanda, I want to really start with sending all of our love and well wishes to everyone affected by Hurricane Helene, Hurricane Milton. We mentioned it last week on cocktail pod. I don’t think we mentioned it on this pod. Please do send me any community resources for all of the areas affected so that I can share them to my stories. I always, as you guys know, I share two to three go fund me’s a day. In the case of these sort of natural disasters, I like to share community resources so we can hopefully help and get donations and to the most amount of, yeah, the most amount of people possible. And locals always know I shared so many for North Carolina, and you guys were fantastic in letting us know which organizations get it to the people that need it fast. So please continue to send me those, either email or DM, and we’re thinking of all of you praying and thinking of all of you guys, and I gotta say, with all of the kind of it, just the world has felt dark lately. And so I’m at least glad that, hopefully, for anyone, anywhere who is listening, that hopefully we can provide a little bit of levity in the day. Because sometimes B and I have talked about this, when things are scary out in the world, sometimes it feels like a little, we feel a little, oh, should we even be doing this? Should we even be talking about this when there are so many bad things going on, but then we hear from so many people that things as little as we help them get them through their chores, to helping them through just harder getting a little distraction from harder times in life. So we hope we can continue to help with that and talk about some of the absurdity that we all love when it comes to reality TV and gossip. Listen for both of us, it’s gotten us. Jimmy, I am sitting in the eye of the storm, and I’m going through your stories. I’m just like, oh my god, go under good shelter. I know, seriously, save your battery. But I was watching last night. I’m watching because you’re on Twitter, and yeah, I have very close friends who live in Venice, Florida, and I’m watching it, and I’m watching it, and then I’m sitting with my son, and then I put my phone down, and I’m laughing at Mary Cosby and my son’s, how can you be watching this right now? And I’m like, because you have to, because if you just look at the darkness, it’s going to swallow you up. You have to pay attention, obviously, and know what’s going on in the world, and be responsible and help where and when you can. But then you have to give yourself mental health breaks, or you’ll go crazy. Mary Cosby,
well, we’ll talk about her probably a little bit later. Wanted to start out with Valley, because over the summer, your source, one of your sources, on the valley and the valley kids who we love this source and has given us some incredible scoop shared a bombshell that Brittany, who, as we know, filed for divorce earlier this year from Jax. The bombshell is that was that Brit hooked up with jax’s friend, whose name we couldn’t share, although he’s not in the shows, not somebody that you would recognize from watching the shows, and that jets found out, and it was a big part of the reason that he went into treatment.
So when I saw the story on, I believe I saw it on page six, I knew the guy’s name was Julian, because the source had told me, and the name Julian really meant nothing to me when they told me, because, as you said, He’s not on any of the shows, but I was oh, yes, this is the name, because it’s a unique name. So we know that Julian sends Lee is 42 years old, and what we had initially heard was that he and his on and off fiance were going through a rough time, but that now he is engaged. Brittany and Julian are no longer together. When we posted it, we had said it was a brief hook up, and this wasn’t somebody she was dating, but Julian is a former NBA player. Total side note, but for those, a lot of cocktails pointed out that at one point they had to dress up as their fantasy person, and she asked Jax to dress up as a basketball player. So that’s funny. He also used to work at Tom and Schwartz’s Tom. Jax went berserk when he found out about the romance. And so we had shared all of this, and it’s always fun when it gets leaked, and it’s Yep, cocktails knew that in July, yeah, definitely. And it was this over the last week, it was all over Instagram, and as I’m watching, I guess I all of these different stories. I have what I think maybe is an unpopular opinion here, because seeing all these Bravo accounts say, get a girl or play that song, get it girl, getting that song over a slide of this story and essentially give Brittany high fives on social media for this, my unpopular opinion is why I am by no means a Jax fan when I’m saying this, so please let me preface my statement by saying that, but we would have been all over Jax if he screwed one of Brittany’s friends After they were separated. While I’m all for Brittany dating and getting it whatever. After the separation, I just, I don’t personally find it cool that she did this with a friend of jaxes. It just feels wrong to me, and especially now that we know that Julian wasn’t exactly single, just messy. I’m 100% with you. I think it’s also important to note that she’s dealing with an emotionally unstable person when dealing with Jax, and there’s a toddler involved. And so who jacks or Cruz?
It’s just listen Brittany’s a beautiful woman and an attractive woman, and if she’s out in WeHo and out with her girlfriends, there are so many different men she can attract. And you do get the sense that she purposely went for this guy to get at Jax, and it’s for what I’ve never been a huge fan of, Brittany. I think that it gets misconstrued because we’ve seen Jacks cheat on her and ridicule her and all of these type of things. But I always keep in mind that she chose to be with him, and birds of a flat feather flock together and then so wait So Lori K who is their joint publicist, the bathroom Chronicles, you guys will remember.
So a little birdie told me that Laurie Kay is the one who leaked Brittany’s hook up with Julian, aka Jax, his friend. Apparently, Jax wanted it out because Julian was not completely broken up with his fiance. I believed that he has a child with a woman who he is now engaged to my understanding.
Is they got engaged after so maybe she found out about Brittany was pissed, and he’s only put a ring on it, but they were not completely split. So whether Brittany knew they were together or not, obviously Brittany gonna publicly deny. She’s gonna say, Oh, he told me they weren’t together. I just, I don’t feel sympathy for her at this point. In regards to her relationship with Jax, she wanted to be on the show. She put up with him. Good for her for leaving. But I would like to note that she left after she had secured herself a new show that was a hit and on its way up, and she’s as opportunistic as everybody else in the mix. And I think what annoys me is that they always spin Brittany as a sweet girl from Kentucky. And I just don’t ever, I have never felt that about her. Yeah, she the Kentucky muffin. The persona definitely doesn’t always seem to add up when you look at some of her actions. Just because somebody says, Oh, bless your heart with a sweet southern accent doesn’t mean that they’re saying something nice. So I Yeah, I’m with you. I and I, we see you. Lori Kay, trying to also just make Brittany maybe not look so good, or just keep her in the news, whatever it is like, why? This is the other thing that’s so shady about Brittany, and further, makes me not have sympathy. She continues to work with this woman who puts this stuff out. So either she is the stupidest person in the world who can’t figure out a way I understand how, initially, if you have business appearances and stuff set up, you have to continue to work with her after the bathroom Chronicles, right? But at this point, months removed from that. You just want your name in the press, because if she’s leaking it, and you’re continuing to work with her, you don’t care. Yeah, I’m looking in her Instagram right now, and Lori k Is still listed as her PR person. It just at a minimum, and that’s the other thing. I think that they’re really getting divorced. Don’t mistake me, definitely, but I do think that they have a joint purpose in making their breakup a money maker, and the fact that they have the same publicist speaks to that. Because if there really was as much contention as their dueling stories in the press makes it seems, then one of them would have gotten a new publicist. You can’t have the same publicist. Ariana and Tom wouldn’t have had the same publicist. Do you know what I’m saying? It’s not they’re really getting divorced, but they’re also okay. Let’s work with Lori to see how we can make the most money possible off this divorce, 100%
especially if we know that it was Laurie that would have been just downright unethical if she was the one to allegedly leak that story without letting Brittany know so well, that’s somebody who allegedly bangs the husband in the bathroom. It doesn’t have a strong moral compass to begin with.
Yeah, I agree thing. Just read so money grab and I’m just not that interested. What else can they do? You never know the things that we’ve seen over the last couple years with some of these people. Yeah, I guess I’m getting back together. Would be whoa down late, shocking. That’s a good point. What is she gonna bang Sandoval next? Is he gonna Oh, is he getting his best together with that’s what Jack says is
best friend.
Yeah, we have been getting a lot of questions about Vanderpump and when they will filming. We had heard fall, I don’t know if that’s still the case. What I’m hearing is that, yeah, they want fall production network. There’s tons of drama behind the scenes. People are making demands this one won’t film with that one, and much of the cast is very pissed off at Ariana. They, according to this source, they feel that she thinks who she is, she forgot where she came from. They’re sick of her getting special treatment and everything scheduled around her because she’s booked and busy. Guys, my daughter’s Get it together. Fans are waiting. There’s gonna come a point where we’re moving on and right the network will move on. So it’s curious to me, because Lala and Sheena, I can see them saying all of that about Ariana, but I can’t see them refusing to film with her. Maybe one of those people who have already moved on, because I was thinking about this. Do they have a show without Ariana? Do they have a show with her? I don’t really think I care, one way or the other, which is telling me I still love the characters. I enjoy Katie. I still really enjoy watching her interact with her ex husband, James. Always a good time. Lala has some very cutting comments, and I enjoy watching her, but I am I’m a little bit bored. I.
Feel like Sandoval can definitely go. We all know how I feel about Sheena. I know I would miss the show when it’s gone, but I’m not clamoring for the next installments of their stories. Maybe we just appreciate it for what it was and move on. Think we should I pull that and see what they think definitely, and in my DMs, that’s definitely the sentiment. Yeah, I do think that people would like to see something about her. They’d like to see Schwartz pop in. I know I would, and I know others would love to see lala’s new baby, who is just beautiful. I’m interested. I don’t know if everyone feels this way, but I’m interested in Katie and Ariana. They have a lot going on. Katie’s podcast is very successful. I would love to see them bring Dana on. I listen to their pod, and I think they’re great. Yeah, I like doing on the show too, and I don’t see why they can’t parallel film. I’d be okay with that, because we do want to see I know you’re going to get mad at me, but she has got to be in the mix, because Sheen is going to be the one to pull them all together to be okay, it’s time for us to all have a get together. And then, yes, it pops in. But I’m more so interested in Ariana and Katie and that side of it. And I feel like fans would be too. I think the other people have to be careful making demands. It could be Ariana that’s, listen, I don’t want to film with Lala and Sheena, maybe. And I’m just thinking aloud here, maybe Katie and Lala are let them have the valley. Let them go do that. We don’t need them on Vanderpump because I just can’t see Lala and Sheena putting up any barriers to filming. We know that they want, yeah, but I was thinking about this too. And do Lala and Sheena become overexposed by being on both shows? Do we do they become less interesting because we’re seeing too much of them? I feel like that could be a realistic outcome as well. So maybe there’s just trying to figure out, because I agree. I would love to see something about her. I would love to see more about what Ariana is doing in general.

B because Sheena has shared with all the valley girls that Jesse from Mom Talk did make out with Marciano. Followers of our saw it, and they This person also said she was all over another guy too. Look, I don’t get it either, because I am aware that her husband, after this came out, after we posted about it, was with her in LA and hung out with Marciano with her. But we all know the Montauk crew are wild and free, so perhaps it’s a deal we’ve heard in Hollywood that when celebs are filming, they’re allowed to do what they want with their CO stars, but Sheena has told all the valley girls that it’s true. I think if Hulu is smart, which Hulu is very smart, they will be trying to get this back in front of us ASAP, because there’s so much interest and just heat on that group of women and just this topic. So I do hear cameras. I think last week they said cameras are up this week or next week, so it’s rolling fast. Yeah, we have also heard there’s a little bit of online speculation. I think you actually posted about it today too. I saw something about this yesterday that Jennifer Affleck, so remember, she’s the one who has the blonde husband who graduated from college at 27 and to is going to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a surgeon. So he I believe his next step is med school. He’s the one who asked Jen for $2,500 so he could gamble, but told her she could not go to what Thunder Down Under or Magic Mike, one of those, one of those male kind of strip club shows. So that is Jennifer Affleck. There is some speculation that she may be going through a divorce. She has been filming videos, apparently in a different house that looks barely moved into. In a couple of videos not wearing her wedding ring and seemingly not wearing her garments. I trust nothing, because I think that
as every good reality cast does, as we saw with the valley, we’re going to see what the we’ve historically seen. We’re seeing it on New York. We’re seeing it on Salt Lake City. These women are all vying for the top dog position, and they all want to come in with interesting storylines. It’s why I think Jesse is a lot of people were in her comments. Did you see Bravo and cocktails? And she’s LOL, yup. And yet, anytime I share a tick tock of theirs on my Bravo and cocktail stories. She hearts it. She follows me. She’s all good with me. I just think that what’s good for the goose is good for the gander. And I think these women, it’s hard for me to not call them girls, because I know chronologically, they’re women, but they have such a child like energy for me,
I think that these women are ready to do whatever.

I really think
they’ll leave their husband for the show. I really, yeah, it’s and it’s great to watch. I don’t know what that says about me, about my morals. I think it’s the juxtaposition of the fact that the whole behind that they’re such religious and the soda drive through and the whole thing, that they’re not allowed to do all of these things, and yet they’re stripping on camera, swinging, leaving their husbands. My one burning question is, Will mom talk survive this? Yes, I think montalk is going to survive this. I hear that there’s a lot of influencers vying to get a spot with big followings and starting their own Montauk talks. And who knows, TLC might pick up a crew. I’m just, I’m not saying that. I’ve heard that. I’m just saying that it’s really interesting Amanda, because if we go back to the first Bravo con before I even before Bravo and cocktails existed before you and I knew each other. And we remember, we knew they were announcing a city. And I remember when they said Salt Lake City. There was a collective huh, absolutely. And so then we met these women, and I remember the trailer. What stood out was they really focused on the Mormon religion, but also the fact that Mary was the Christian pastor and Meredith was of Jewish faith, and so the dichotomy of all of their different religions. And then there was the strong focus on the Mormon LDS with Whitney and Heather, and it really piqued everyone’s attention. And I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised, because remember, oh gosh, I’m gonna forget the show Sister Wives. Was it sister wives? The show on HBO? Oh, you’re thinking of the show with Bill, yes. Pullman, Paxton. Bill Paxton, oh my gosh, I’m blanking on the name of it. If you guys haven’t seen it, I’m gonna Google it. It was captivating. HBO, big love. That’s what it was. I actually might go back in the winter and re watch it. That was such a good show. It’s just so interesting, right? Because it’s one of those things that really was never publicly spoke about that non Mormons like you and I would hear about really be like, really plural marriages, and it makes absolute sense. Yeah, I would love to see and Hulu, if you’re listening. We love you, but I would really love to see a companion, almost documentary, pulling out some of the things that we’re seeing. What are the garments? Why are they worn? Why do Mormons believe that they shouldn’t have, shouldn’t drink? Where did the idea of the men being the priesthood holders, where the women don’t have the roles in the church. What is the roots? What are the roots of that? There’s so many interesting things I’ve I happen to know a little bit about this, just because I’m really fascinated, and have spent some time in Utah. You go to Utah and there is symbology everywhere about the LDS religion, better understanding why they why Mormons believe that unless you’re married, you can’t go to heaven, things like that. I would love to see just a, almost a companion documentary explaining some of these things same. Yeah, I would love that. Okay, yes, Mom Talk will survive. I think there’s, I think in Mom Talk is doing quite well. So Potomac premiered. There’s a lot going on Robin, obviously not on the show. I definitely felt her presence missed, because as I was watching it, I’m like, Oh, I wonder if she’ll even make any appearances or anything, because it’s funny to see Gisele do all the Giselle things without Robin. And I thought it was very classy of Robin. On social she posted and said, good luck to the Potomac cast on the premiere. Yeah, I really like Robin. I just unfortunately.
Definitely think that when you have that much mess and you try to hide it and you’re not authentic, I get it as a person, and I would do the same thing that Robin did, certainly I would be much more inclined to do that, as opposed to the mom talk girls who lean in and or Let’s blow up the whole family Exactly. Let’s throw our garments away, and I would definitely do what Robin did. I’m not saying I would ride for my husband the way she rode for one, but I wouldn’t step out of the stop the spotlight. Yeah, yeah. Agreed. I think she was asked to leave the spotlight after being told you got to show it. And they gave her two seasons, and she kept not, and they were all right, this is done. Then, speaking of blowing up families, one of the big things that happened on this first episode is Mia and Gordon are co parenting. They’re sitting at a park watching the kids play. Mia tells Gordon that she would like to have a paternity test on their son. I have to imagine that we’re all united on this one, how dare she? And then at Karen’s birthday lunch, she got mad at, I believe it was Giselle and Karen, she got mad at, Mia brought this paternity subject up, the fact that her son may be inks and not Gordon’s. I forget. I know that she tried to say that Gordon mentioned it first he may have, but clearly this season, when she’s with Gordon on a co parenting get together, and that right? So at first we see them together, and we’re all good. This is so nice that they’re putting the kids first. And then she immediately hits so below the belt, and you could see the hurt in Gordon, and he looks like he has just given up, doesn’t he? Gordon? He looks like he’s just defeated. I do have to say, I do think it was Gordon who brought it up. So if you remember, during the finale, when they’re having me and Gordon are having that fight in that penthouse that they were in the kitchen, where she also talked about how Gordon had locked her in rooms and taken her phone. Yeah, he actually was the one to bring this up on camera. I don’t know that making a whole storyline out of this is wise. I think it’s makes me really sad for their son, regardless, to be talking about, to just continue to be talking about this, but now that it’s been talked about, I am pretty curious about who the father is. I feel like the father is Gordon, and if the father is Gordon, I feel like I’m gonna be even more pissed off. I feel like, if the father’s ink, I will be you know what? To your point. Gordon brought it up and me, and again, on television, her son is, regardless of what his age is he would find out, but he’s also school aged, and the daughter is 100% Gordon’s regardless. So how will that work? And I agree, I don’t see the needs. It’s just I feel for their son, because it’s gonna get back to him. The editors on Potomac, first of all, I love how they always show the flowers with the heck of those beautiful flowers called the cherry blossoms. Yes, the cherry blossoms. But I love when Mia’s sitting on the bench with Gordon, and she’s Gordon. It’s not like I ran into the next man’s arms and and they flip to the clip of her on vacation with ink, and she’s physically running into his arm, running into his arms.
I just too good. I know it really is. It really is too good. And speaking of production, masterful the way they reenacted carrots. DUI, oh my. It reminds me of something the warrior video reenaction, yeah. And again, guys, I’m not laughing whatsoever about DUI is not funny. I want to first remind everybody of the details of what happened. So March 19 of this year, Karen left a dinner. She wrecked her 2017 Maserati, she hit a median and then a crosswalk sign. Cat. Side note. Side note, yeah, if you can afford to drive a Maserati, you can afford to call an Uber. No kidding, yeah. She then kept driving, and then hit a parking sign off the street and then went off the went off into the grass. She walked out of the car at the time, seemed unharmed, refused medical treatment, although on she says on the episode that she hurt her ribs and ankle. She was cited for driving a vehicle while impaired by alcohol and driving while under the influence of alcohol. I’ll explain the difference in a second. She faces charges of negligent driving, endangering property, recklessly driving a vehicle in disregard for the safety of people and property, failure to control a vehicle speed on the highway, driving above Reasonable and Prudent speeds, driving with suspended registration, failure to notice.
Fi the administration of a change to her address within 30 days, and then the next day. I’m still not 100% clear on how the whole arresting happened, because it sounds like she did not get arrested that night, but she was eventually charged. She released a statement saying to TMZ that grief influenced her accident and that she had been she went off the road because she was trying to avoid another car. Also want to point out the fact there were two unopened bottles of Stella in her car. Oh, God, the beer. Yeah,

and I did a little more digging. So in Maryland, the difference between DUI and DWI, because she was charged with both, is the blood alcohol level of the driver. So DUI is more serious in Maryland, and is given when a driver’s blood alcohol concentration is point oh 8% or higher. DWI is given for point oh 7% or higher. And let me remind you guys that in most states, the legal limit is actually point oh six, so higher. So what she’s being charged with is for having an even higher than blood alcohol concentration, then in most states, is legal. She refused to give a field sobriety test. Feel like that makes me really question her story. That she I think she was why else would you refuse to take a field sobriety test if you’re sober? What I’m confused about is when she’s asked about it, um, watch what happens. Live on with Giselle, she’s talking about it. She’s saying things. This is a lawsuit. This is a legal matter. I can’t address it. This is not your company’s being sued because you didn’t properly pay an employee. And there’s a gray area, right? You drove under the influence of alcohol, which is illegal and you were charged. There’s no gray area. Certainly, there may still be a court date pending at the time of filming, where she is going to, you know what I’m saying, lose her license, or have to do time, what all of that might be pending. But the facts are the facts. This isn’t like a regular old lawsuit where the facts are in question. What is she talking about and why are we why are the women allowing it? Why is the network allowing it? I think they’re letting her off too easy. It’s zero accountability. Thank you so much for saying that. Why is Bravo Getting late to her just full on pulling this is an ongoing legal matter, and not saying I fucked up. I What the heck she could say I made a terrible mistake more than once, might I add, because this is our second DUI. I made a terrible mistake. I’m very disappointed in myself. I’m getting help all of those things. I can’t discuss the details of the case, right? Because I understand that, because judge has not decided what your punishment is going to be, maybe, but show the remorse for the mistake of driving under the influence. I both of us, we’ve always loved Karen, and I’ve always appreciated her delusion calling herself the grand DOM. It was always ridiculous and slapstick, Lisa Barlow esque in that they anoint themselves the queen bee, but full stop on this and her, it’s a gross entitlement. I was actually surprised. Were you surprised by even giselle’s behavior with it? I think I was watching it. I was impressed, actually, but also laughed, because I was thinking about, what would I do if I had a friend who had gone through this I wouldn’t ostracize them. I would say, I’m really glad you’re okay, because that is what Giselle said. Giselle definitely sold through her shade in when they were in the car, saying the.
Yes, will this give you post traumatic will this trigger you when we if we drive by the accident scene? I just wonder if there was possibly a meeting that said, Look, Karen’s handling this way. See what you can get her to say on camera. But yeah, we know tam the way Tamara handled Shannon’s was, there was absolutely no empathy, sympathy. I always get the two confused. There was no hey, I appreciate that you made some you really fucked up. You made some mistakes. I’m glad you’re okay, and I’m glad that you’re learning from it. That, to me, would be a good way to handle this as a friend. See, the thing to me is, of course, I agree with you, if this was one of my friends and I was seeing her for the first time, I wouldn’t lambast her. But I think that if my friend and I were at lunch and she, of course, we have to always remember there’s cameras there. But it doesn’t matter. Taking accountability is taking accountability. If my friend said anything other than be I can’t discuss the details because I don’t know what the outcome is going to be. But of course, I am disappointed and horrified in the decision I made to drive under the influence, and I will never do that again. If my friend said what Karen said to Giselle, I would say, Are you kidding? You realize that you really could have hurt somebody right? Which I think we do see Ashley say leading in the clips. I understand, right? You don’t want to discuss whatever your legal situation is, but feel bad about this, right? This was a bad thing, yeah, because she definitely is not coming off saying that. And I even understand the desire to not want to pile on to Karen at her birthday lunch. That might not be the time and the place. So to your point, I’m glad to see Ashley saying more. It sounds like there are other women. You can’t always tell who’s saying what. When they overlay voices over other scenes, it does look like the other women will call her to account, but to some extent, watch what happens live. And I don’t think we discussed that. We discussed last week how she said Ashley sucking down the corona as we discussed that, right? Yes, that really pisses me off. You can’t compare someone enjoying an adult beverage when they’re out with their friends responsibly to driving drunk. And the fact that, yeah, obviously Karen seems pissed at Ashley, because I’m sure Ashley, this season, is watching her lack of accountability, wanting to just gloss over it. And she obviously stands up and says, You could have hurt somebody. What are you doing? Feel bad. And so Karen, she likes to drink too. Not the same thing, hon. The same thing. Definitely not the same and it was interesting how Karen said, Oh, I will be having libations soon
again. Just, she just has no no accountability and no okay, hey, I do need to take another look at my drinking. And I have, I’ve taken none of okay and the risk of people saying that I’m being ageist. I’m just gonna say you and I are in the same age bracket. Shannon who lacked accountability. She took a little bit more than Karen, but she lacked accountability in a big way. In my opinion, they’re about the same age. They’re women in their 60s. Is this a generational thing? Do people in their 30s and 40s take drinking and driving more seriously than people in their 60s. I’m gonna go with no, is it a wealthy woman entitlement? What am I missing? Yeah, the delusion is real. I’d be interested to see, because I did appreciate that. OC gave us the conversation of Shannon having to face her daughters, which for me, was the most accountability we saw, right? I don’t agree with you. I think Shannon, multiple times, has said, I made terrible decisions. This is my fault. At least we’ve seen her say this on camera. I don’t know that we saw a personal statement or anything like that. She went and did some sort of treatment, some looking within. It seems that she has made some changes so far from what we’ve seen on camera. So I do not put her in the same category whatsoever as Karen. Okay. She did take some accountability. I admitted she did it, and then it was dumb and that she really fucked up, but we’re not seeing Karen admit anything, and I would be interested, and I know it won’t happen, but I think production should have insisted. I’d like to see her face Raven, her daughter, you know what I’m saying, and because she can’t look your child in the face, right, we raise our kids to make good choices and good decisions and prioritize their safety. And I have to believe that as delusional as Karen is, she raised her children to prioritize their safety. I’d like to see that conversation, yeah, but I doubt we’re gonna see it, and this is where I’m I’m just not there with Karen, and I am not she is going to have a two day jury.
Aisle in December, from what I was reading, yeah, we got and we posted in cocktail. She’s being picky about the judge. She’s trying to get special treatment in court as well. We’ll just leave it there without reading all of the again, thank you again, all of the resources that it takes to go to court and having the prosecution put together a case, having the judge, having the jury, having all these people, having the court reporters, all of that for taking up all of those resources for a DUI again, it just, I don’t like it. I’m not a fan. I’m I think I might be fast forwarding through some of Kara and stuff. I just, I can’t with her. Yeah, I don’t, I really don’t like it. But let’s talk about some of the new wives on Potomac, because we got a few. We have Stacy love her gorgeous former QVC host, mother of an eight year old daughter, divorcing after 16 years of marriage we had so when Stacey was first announced, we had got some intel that they weren’t sure, because I don’t know if she was the public, because the women seemed to not know that her and her husband of 16 years were split when they were at the dress store. So I think they probably did know, but whatever. So people were wondering if she was going to try to try to pretend she’s married. But no, she was. She’s being honest about her split. I loved being in the dress store. It gave me old school posh vibes that the woman who owns the local Boutique is friends with the ladies. I like that. Yeah. Then we also have, I don’t want to say this wrong, Kiana Stuart, who we’ve seen her before? Yes, her Bravo. Bio says she’s trying to put her past behind her. She’s working on building her relationship with the women, but her plate is full. She’s running her business, launching a skincare line you gotta love You gotta love the pushing the product before we even know you.

Roni, let’s start with the aviaryn conversation yesterday, as we I was furiously looking through all of our podcasts, all of our posts, because when I talk about stuff, we do mostly keep it for the podcast. In my head, you and I had a long conversation about this lawsuit that we got some information that was against Abe and Aaron and essentially, $200,000
or more showed up in one of their business accounts from it was essentially just a bad wire. The numbers got routed wrong, and the bank was suing to get the money back. It sounds like it’s been resolved. So I know you and I talked about it. I even asked about it on the pod. I yeah, I just can’t. I wanted to link it for you guys, so go ahead. For me, I can’t find it. I know we did, because people were asking in my DMs after the first episode, when we saw the clips of Aaron saying something happened with her and Abe, people were suspecting cheating. And I was like, Oh, we mentioned it on the pod.
There was a financial situation that we’re aware of that we actually didn’t post about, because it was resolved, and we also wanted to see how it played out on camera. So these documents, these actual bank documents, because their legal public documents, were sent to us, showing the wire transfer and then showing that it was resolved, so we knew that had happened. And so then when Aaron was pissed at Abe Amanda, and I said to each other, Oh snap, I bet you, Aaron didn’t know about that transfer, and found out when they got the court. Dr bank went to the court, whatever the legal situation, he had a clue her in, so I found it right. But then he brought up Bitcoin, which is a totally separate financial issue, yes. And he sold it without telling Aaron so we know about some issue. He brought up Bitcoin. She actually, in that conversation, brought up other stuff, like she alluded till this isn’t the only thing. This is a pattern. There have been things about our finances that you have been less than truthful with me about. And he had his confessional. I have to just give my honest opinion. And I always like a I liked Abe. I’m not saying I dislike him. Now. I do find this very concerning. I think that the conversation really spoke to a pattern of Abe being dishonest with Aaron about finances. I also, just to be really frank, was shocked that Aaron was honest and open and put this on camera. We discussed this bank issue, although we can’t find the clip. I know we did, but people the Bitcoin thing, they didn’t have to tell us about that. You know what I mean? If my if I’m on a show and my husband sells assets that we have, Bitcoin or otherwise, stocks, whatever, that’s not illegal, that’s a marital, private issue, right? So there’s no way other than Erin bringing to the table. So I did Erin’s honesty and transparency with it. I think it’s proof that she’s a great housewife. And I feel like I’m constantly having to defend Erin, especially, but the Roni housewives in general. But I think this goes to show that she’s came to play, the fact that she shared that with us. I just really have a lot of concerns that this is not a bigger issue that will continue in their marriage. To your point, lying by omission is still lying, and so that is, that’s that’s got to that’s not even omission, though. Amanda, this was a large sum of money that they had as a marital asset. That’s not omission. You sold it? What? Yeah, yeah, no, it’s a big, it’s a big transgression, betrayal. I don’t know that quite the right word. I also feel you’re right that about Erin bringing us to table, and then she happened to throw out there too that she had a failed handbag line that they lost a lot of money on. Again, probably not a necessary thing for her to say, but I think she’s being very honest almost. Bethany Frankel ish, where Bethany was always quick to point out her failures, too. I liked her more actually, I’m going to say it after that, after her conversation with Britt, with Brynn and their whole fight I am starting because you’ve always been a big yarn fan. I’ve always liked her, but been a little wary of her, I have to say, though, especially hearing her say, when she was talking about her mom being sick and saying, We are in this fight together, I’m cutting my hair too, because she cut it, I’m gonna wear wigs too to show her that I am in this with her. Just she really came out of this episode as somebody that have really come around 100% I loved seeing her cut her hair and taking her mom, and it’s just even more to the point she has a legit storyline. She wasn’t searching for something. She has a very full life. She could have focused on her mom’s battle with cancer and then dramas with the girls and raising her kids. She didn’t have to go into the marriage issues I find myself, and I don’t know why, almost a protective in my head. If I were her friend in real life, or if I were her PR person, I think I would have told her not to bring it up the ABE stuff, yeah, because clearly they’re very much together, and she’s not, seemingly not planning on leaving. And I just think that I don’t like it at all. I think financial dishonesty is bad. I think it’s as bad as cheating. I agree. You have three kids, yeah, and living in Manhattan, in New York City and everywhere is so expensive, and playing around with money. And I don’t like it. I think it’s dishonest. There’s that big story about the influencer I’m blanking on committed suicide, yes, because he they were living way above their means, and he was not honest about their finances either, and everything caught up to him, and he took his own life.
If it can be a slippery slope with these things. And now they just invested into this Mezcal business, which seemingly is doing really well. I have to just say, My honest feeling on it is, you obviously have investors on that Mezcal. I’m going to assume, I don’t know that, but I’m going to assume and those investors are watching this, and your husband, who previously the view was he’s a successful attorney, which he is, but I wouldn’t want my investors knowing that I made those sort of financial decisions. Sorry, I just, I think it’s great for her as a housewife, as far as authenticity, I just wouldn’t want it out there. But, well, I guess we’ll see how it flushes out. What about what you think of her fight with Brynn when she showed up to brynn’s house and Brynn was on the couch on the phone, giving her tap water. Yeah, I find it so odd that she gave her that Brynn gave such a cold Welcome to saying I left you some water over there, not even really standing up, not looking up from her phone, when, again, what I saw Aaron do was be very genuine. And I really liked that. And I actually really liked Brynn being really honest and saying, part of what I’m really realizing I was actually mad about with that whole situation was that Jenna thought I forgave you too quickly that my ego was what was really I realized my ego kind of took a hit with that, so I thought it was a really, actually authentic moment. And I do think that they had it felt authentic, that they made up as well, and that even Bren was, oh yeah, you don’t get the dog and you don’t get the nice water, because I was mad at you and I liked it. I have a different take. I don’t really feel that there’s a genuine friendship there. I think that the fact that Brynn didn’t reach over and hug Aaron, who was talking about her mom and saying, I just have so much on my plate. I’m spinning and bother me. I’m you have some a friend who’s going through a parent being seriously ill, you hug them no matter what. That’s the thing it seems like, from Bryn side, it seems there’s a lack of real, authentic caring about Erin Which isn’t to say that I don’t think they could patch it up and move past and get along, but it just seems, and maybe Brynn is coming from a place of, if you were my real friend, you would have shut down any talk of me having a sugar daddy. So I don’t want to say that Erin’s right 100% brain has her feelings, but I just for me, I wouldn’t be surprised if they fell out again. I don’t think there’s some friendships have a base that is people genuinely feel away for a person, and I don’t feel that with their friends, party friends, party girlfriends, their television friends. In this case, yes, I’m finding Brynn flimsy. She isn’t giving us much, but pots stirring and her puppy and her brother and her cool apartment. I’m not saying there isn’t more to her. I’m confident there is. I just don’t see it. I want to also give a shout out to New York City tap water, which is the best tap water in the entire world. It’s delicious. It’s well filtered. It is good for you. I took severe offense to the whole tap water. Okay? I was wondering if you’re gonna bring that up, because it is a point of pride with New Yorkers, the top pride. And I also want to shout out to my fellow borough girls, because you’re all in my DMs. How dare she get so offended about Staten Island? Because there’s always this thing. And I’ve posted about it. We’ve spoke about it, Manhattan people. And Erin is born and raised in Manhattan. Don’t mistake me, but she’s a rich Manhattan girl. Okay, yes, you’re truly a New Yorker. But real New Yorkers know that US borough people are more authentically New York so I’ll just leave that there.
And either way, Britain is from i Oh, you know what else I didn’t like. I didn’t like Brynn randomly calling Psy. Belonged in Rikers Island. I didn’t like that. Isn’t that where the prison is? Yes, it’s a prison because she got mad at you. And it goes back to that carbon monoxide thing. It’s Brynn wants to keep a very polished exterior, and she is not willing to get vulnerable. And that is starting to really be clear, and I think that the fans are going to have the reaction that I’m having to it, which is where you see Erin being very authentic, Psy really trying to be more open and authentic. You’re not. I’m not seeing or feeling that from Brynn. And then, yeah, I agree. I think she’s we need to see more from her. I agree. Rebecca, so she so Brynn Jessel, Rebecca, the new housewife, Minkoff. They asked her about Scientology on the helicopter. I am really curious to hear what you think is.
I did not understand. I thought Rebecca made a very poor choice. Yes, they’re on a helicopter. You can still have a conversation. Rebecca had the perfect opportunity to be open, answer their questions, get them allied to her, before going into this girls weekend with all of the women, but instead brushes it off and really made it look like she had something to hide 100% and she she said something, oh yeah. As soon as that was announced, breaking the fourth wall, I got messages like, yeah, no, shit. You’re going on a reality show and you’re tied to the Scientology community. What I’m puzzled about is that Rebecca, also Minkoff, also identifies as Jewish. So I actually saw a clip, I want to say, within the last couple of weeks, where she’s talking about how judium is a cultural aspect for her, and she’s Jewish and all of this. But then she’s also defending she said something that was defending Scientology. So clearly, she didn’t deny it. She just was basically, we could talk about it. You can read or I forget what she said, yeah, it was a non answer. And I just hope that they poke her more. And I would be interested. When you said that she identifies also as Jewish, I would be interested. That’s where I would want to talk to her. Is Scientology not a religion? Understand? Yeah. How do they work together? How does your family all view this? Do you go to the Church of Scientology regularly? How does it fit into your life? Things like that? Just, I’m legitimately curious about it, and it’s almost like she’s continuing this kind of negative stigma on the church by not wanting to talk about it when there’s right. I think quite a few people who are Scientologists, who are pretty open about it, and I have heard in the past that you can be Scientologists plus another religion, and that’s where my natural curiosity, but yeah, that’s, I don’t understand your religion is, how does that fit together? And what does that How has it shaped you as a person? There’s so many interesting questions that she could answer and make us intrigued, and now it just looks I said she’s hiding something. I have a lot of Jewish friends, and I have friends who are Jewish identify as Jewish, but they don’t. Aren’t necessarily religious. Where they go to synagogue, okay? But they identify as Jewish. If you say, I’m Jewish, it also is a cultural thing, right? It’s almost like being Italian, in a way, right? People will say, Oh, I’m Jewish, whereas I might say, Oh, my dad’s Irish, my mom’s Italian. I’m obviously American, but Irish, Italian American. But those friends I have aren’t I’m Jewish, oh yes. And I’m also a born again Christian. It’s they’re not necessarily observant, but they are Jewish. Does that make sense? Yeah, I don’t understand where the Scientology comes in. To your point. I have heard that you can be one religion, and also being the Church of Scientology. And it is a church, I don’t Rebecca, we got questions, but that’s the thing. It’s we just want to understand more about you and you. It’s almost she’s taking the all of the negativity of this, this Church of Scientology, when she actually had on for herself when she actually has an opportunity to say, This is my viewpoint on it. This is how it’s shaped me. I would be interested to know that, and I think all of us would. So Why so quiet about it? Why are we brushing it off 100%
okay, guys, we love you. We did not get to Salt Lake City, but we will. There’s just so many shows on. It’s so exciting. I also started last night watching villains, which we’ll touch on. I didn’t finish it, though, because it was on at 10. And I’m an old lady coming out once a week. Do you know? I believe so it actually came on last night. If you were watching Salt Lake City live, it came on right after I started watching it, and it was funny. The first few minutes were funny. Teresa was great. It just reminded you of why you love Teresa, because she says funny things, and she was really cute. One of the one of the girls comes in from 90 day fiance, and she’s got these enormous fake breasts, and she’s wearing this dress, and Theresa keeps and not in a snarky or a mean way, very motherly, being like me, her dress and she’s just, they’re just so big. She’s just, they’re coming out. I think she needs a different dress. I was happy to see it because I think Theresa really needs that. She’s had a heavy couple of seasons, so I think it’ll be good for her, a nice reminder that there’s a reason why we’ve all watched her and enjoyed her for so many years. Yes, I’ll watch it. And that reminds me, I should open up House of Villains, Battle of one, all on Discord. Always a bottle of wine, but no The House of Villains on Discord so everybody can be chatting about it.
