What’s up cocktail party, so the first half of the pod is going to be just me. B so I get a text last night from Amanda, and our editor shared with us that the files seem to not be there. So Amanda’s on a flight, so she’s not really able to see what she can salvage. Long story short, we realized that our cocktail pod is fine, and half of this pod is fine. So when we were recording yesterday, about 30 minutes into the recording, I got kicked out, and I didn’t know why, and my Wi Fi was fine. We didn’t think much of it, but somehow that first half an hour didn’t get recorded, which isn’t the hugest deal in the world, but unfortunately, since Amanda is traveling, she wasn’t able to hop on. And I said, we decided, let me just hop on, because obviously we want to get the podcast out to you guys. So I will compare it to I never breastfed, although I did attempt to pump, and I’m gonna compare it to spilling pumped milk.
Is how it feels when you get a message saying, Oh, that pod you recorded isn’t there because it’s you can’t recreate it right, because you end up like going off on tangents and whatever your natural reactions are, and then you feel, oh, man, that was a good pod, and it’s gone. But it is what it is. So what Amanda and I were talking about the first half of the pod, and at when Amanda does come in, in about a half an hour into the pod, we are talking about the victims of the very disturbing Diddy puff, daddy Sean Combs case. So you guys know, for really over a year, we have been posting in cocktail party about we were referring to him as the Mogul. This week, he was arrested by the Sun Southern District of New York. Yes, the same agency that arrested and convicted Jen Shah. I was a big fan of the show billions with Damian. I can’t think of his last name, and Paul Giamatti, great show. I want to say HBO or Showtime if you haven’t seen it, highly recommend. It’s one of those show.
Shows that’s great for couples. I know my husband’s a sports guy and like action, and I’m like, you guys know, like trashy reality. So it’s often difficult for us to find something that suits both of us. And billions was one of those shows. So definitely recommend that. So we were posting a lot of Intel, and even as I was posting in it. And Amanda and I were like, going through the emails and the sources information, it just seemed wild to us, and some of it far fetched, but sadly, disappointingly, all of the stuff that’s happening is stuff that we posted about, some of the shocking things that I thought, No way this could be true is coming out in the news as charges. And again, the Southern District of New York has a 95% success rate, so while innocent until proven guilty, clearly they have a very strong case. When Diddy’s house was first raided, I want to say March, I got some intel from a follower, and this follower said, I will let you know that I was a prosecutor in New York City for 14 years focusing on child abuse, sex crimes, exploitation and human trafficking. I now work primarily on the other side in federal court. Most of my cases are in the Southern District of New York. This is what a follower said to me. So naturally, I said, Okay, his home was raided and everything. But why hasn’t he been arrested? And the follower said, I have so many different thoughts. I’m trying to catch up on all the news. My first question and thought on it is that something triggered the need for them to quickly go and execute search warrants on all these locations, for example, they had to move on someone, perhaps the drug dealer and whatever happened, they were concerned that evidence might get destroyed or lost, so they had to rush and do the search warrant before they were ready to make an arrest. Usually, when the Southern District of New York or any law enforcement does search warrants for large operations, it goes hand in hand with the takedown of the individuals, from my experience, the two times, the main two reasons why they would do searches before being ready to make an arrest are, number one, they have enough for an arrest, but not enough to support the greatest charges that they suspect the person is guilty of, and the Southern District of New York in particular will not charge someone on anything unless they can lay out exactly how they would completely convict them of any charge that they would bring. The second reason is what I’m alluding to, which is something triggered law enforcement and law enforcement action in response to whatever triggered them could cause evidence to be destroyed, so they have to move expeditiously to execute the searches so that they don’t have anything destroyed or moved. Southern District of New York won’t bring a case if they are not reasonably secured, a victory. So essentially, they had to get in there quick, because word was getting out. The person said, these are these were just her initial thoughts on it. So this all makes sense, because prior to the raid, he offered artists their rights back. Okay. Now there has been talk for years and shout out to our girl, Wendy Williams, who for many years, called him out and said it is coming out now that there were sexual charges against him going back as early as 1991 Okay, so when Wendy Williams would call him out and say all these things on her radio show back in the day, she knew stuff she was in that world, she was bold enough to call it out, and allegedly, She was threatened as a result of it, and so for all these years, got away with it. So when he suddenly made the surprising decision to give songwriters and artists their publishing rights, everybody was suspicious. There are no coincidences. The time people were saying, a lot’s gonna come out. And clearly they were right. Part of the caveat right when he offered back these rights to his artists were signed NDAs. A lot of artists we hear did not sign. And what we were told back in March is you can expect these people to speak up. And they also said, it’s about to get real. So they actually moved his actual arrest. So he was arrested this week. He was supposed to be arrested like Wednesday. He was arrested Monday. We hear they got wind of something. The suspicion is that he was going to be flying somewhere where there are extradition laws. So most countries have an agreement with America, if we have somebody who needs to be arrested, if they’re in Italy, our agents can go over there and arrest them. But there are countries that we don’t have that agreement with, and those countries, what do they uncover? Videos and videos years worth of freak offs were seized. Prosecutors denied him, not once, but twice, for bail based on the evidence that they have and the fact that.
They feel he was, according to what we’re hearing, intimidating witnesses. They felt that it’s not safe for him to be on the outside. They are scared he will flee. A lot of people joking about the 1000 bottles of lubricant. It’s disturbing. So did he offered, before he was denied bail, he offered to her an ankle monitor, and part of his deal was $50 million which an attorney follower told me is laughable, because he wasn’t putting any actual money up. So this is a man worth, I don’t hundreds of million, if not a billion dollars. Well, he was worth, I’m sure it’s pummeling every day, but he didn’t offer, like, $30 million plus the value of his house. Now he offered the value of his house, which he said was valued at 48 million, and his mother’s house. He also surrendered his passport, his mother’s passport, and his children’s passports, his children’s passports, I guess, oh, I’m at a flight risk because now my kids can’t travel. The entire thing is truly mind blowing. People are now saying the jail he’s being held in is unsafe. It may be, but wouldn’t that be a problem for all the prisoners in there, and not just him? There are reports that his employees would help him, booking the hotels, stocking the rooms with supplies, drugs, baby oil, extra linens. I had a follower who worked at the Beverly Hills Hotel tell me that any time did he stay there, there was a $5,000 non refundable deposit, because when he was done, the room would be completely wrecked and they would need to buy new furniture Dawn from Danity Kane, amongst others, came out with lawsuits this week. We hear more civil lawsuits are coming, so it’s a lot we had posted a while back, and for those of you not in cocktail, you wouldn’t have read it, so I’m going to read it because it is a Bravo tie in in 2007

thought it was interesting because of the Bravo tie in a record exec at Warner Brothers step down. Last name is Lyles, and apparently his wife runs in the same circle as the Hugos and Giselle, during one of Potomac seasons, said that Karen does not like this woman, because Ray has the hots and always flirts with her. So there’s a second Bravo. Tie in. It’s no mistake that people are going to be stepping down from positions. A lot of people are speculating that other people will go down with him. That, of course, remains to be seen. It’s very troubling. His adult sons are very involved. I understand they’re adults and they’re responsible for their choices, but I wonder why he would involve them and in some ways groom them. They’re listed on his businesses and his homes, as is his mother. In court documents, one son is named. There are allegations, rumors that a son frequently move girls around from house to house, country to country, state to state. Court documents show that, as I said, one of them is listed. One of the sons is listed as a defendant, the other allegedly drugged and assaulted a woman. Two of his sons were cuffed during a raid. So he has an adopted son, Quincy, whose father is Alby Sure. Alby sure was previously with Kim Porter. And Alby sure are the parents of Quincy legally Puff Daddy adopted Quincy, which is odd because obviously, I’ll be sure is in the picture. I’m not sure of those details. Money talks after Kim Porter’s death. Now, Kim Porter died of pneumonia. Kim Porter was a healthy in shape woman in her 40s, the mother of four, three of those children. One is Quincy with Alby Sure. And then she has a son who is king. Combs, it is the son who looks the most like Sean Combs. His name’s Christian. And then she has twin daughters who are teenagers. She died out of nowhere, the COVID.
Cause was pneumonia. Originally the cause was homicide. That got changed to pneumonia. Kimora Simmons, who you will know is Russell Simmons, ex wife, was very outspoken, as was Alby Sure. When Alby sure was outspoken, I believe he was hit by a car and hospitalized for almost a year, okay, another coincidence, you say that you think the Mogul was involved in the woman’s death, and the next thing, you get hit by a car. Coincidence, Kimora Lee called for a second autopsy, and the coroner who was supposed to do the autopsy died. It was a celebrity coroner who had done a lot of celebrity autopsies, and that person turned up unalive, and then you have the freak offs. And the thing about it is, people are saying, Oh, the employees helped him. But to that, I say, is there free will when you’re a young person who’s employed by a celebrity, and at first, I’m sure it’s exciting, and then you’re asked to do things you’re not comfortable with, but you start to learn that this is a dangerous person, allegedly based on these allegations, based on the indictments, based on the stuff that is coming out regarding his arrest. And so you work for him, and he asks you to do things, and are you a willing participant, or are you scared? And I would imagine most of the assistants and the people he hires are in their 20s, and they’re young and they’re impressionable, and he’s rich and he’s powerful, and from what we hear from court reports, he can be quite mean. We sort for ourselves on making the band. but I just saw him as like a tough businessman. I certainly did not think that there were drugs and racketeering and sex trafficking, and it’s what it’s really mind blowing. And by Nick his iconic white parties in the Hamptons, yes, those happened, and those were legit parties, and they were glamorous, and there were real celebrities. I think the freak offs were separate, okay? Abuse was involved with the staff, with his kids, right? Because his boys are adults, there is grooming, there is fear in his kid’s sake, there’s not a clear understanding of right and wrong. Everyone has said from the beginning, it’s not going to be easy to take him down, but thus far, he has been denied bail twice, once by a magistrate judge and the second time by the judge who will be overseeing the case with him, people suspect that other very powerful people will go down. I don’t want to speculate on who that is, because, of course, we’ve all heard the names, but I certainly don’t have any proof that any of that is anything beyond people speculating. I think if he cares about his kid’s safety, he shouldn’t out anyone who’s powerful, but then you wonder, he involved his children in his illegal endeavors. His sons, he surrendered all of their passports. We’ve all seen the Cassie video, and that certainly is not going to help him, because it made us acutely aware of just what he’s capable of.
Of whereas without that video, I think I would have a hard time picturing it right. Because, yes, we see him as a strict businessman in situations that we’ve seen, like making the band, but we also see him jovial and dancing on stage and everyone loving Him, and the silence is so loud right now. Mary, J Blige, faith, Evans, Little Kim, all the men, all the shine, came out and said he ruined my life, which we all know, because shine is the one who took the fall for the drug charges back when he was dating JLo. People speculating that J Lo and Ben’s breakup has something to do with this. I I don’t really buy that.
Just to be honest, I don’t know. I’m eating frozen yogurt. By the way, it is so hard to do these things alone, because I lose my train of thought. I don’t know of anyone to keep me on track. Amanda, I miss you. Oh, another big thing. Weapons were found in the raid like the numbers rubbed off wild. And he’s saying, Oh, how to employ security. The legit security team you employ is not rubbing the numbers off of weapons. A charge like that, in and of itself, carries a significant amount of jail time. Amanda and I do talk in the next section about his victims, and we we we get into all of that. So the next piece of this will be, you’ll hear Amanda pop on, and I pop on, and we’re talking about the victims. But while I have you here, what we did, what we didn’t have when we recorded this was Salt Lake City, and now we do you guys. I first of all, the ratings were low, and I’m not exactly sure why that is. So I do think that a lot of people watch it on streamers, September’s crazy, back to school, nights, all that stuff. But if for whatever reason, you’re not watching Salt Lake City, I promise you, it’s so good. Some people ask me, do I think it’s because Monica’s not there, and I don’t know I’ll have to pull this, but maybe I’m in the minority. I would never consider not watching the show because of Monica. I thought she added value last season, because that was certainly an interesting plot line. But I enjoy the cast as a whole, and it’s one of those casts for me where I really like the ensemble of it, right? So there are cities that I watch where, like, I have a true favorite, and then there are other cities I watch where I can’t really name a true favorite, because I just like them all together. And for me, Salt Lake City’s like that. And guys, I know Mary’s bad, right? She’s inappropriate, she’s a classist, a racist. Here’s the thing. This is Reality TV, and when she
went on about the newbie Britney, I think her name is putting bread in her pocketbook, I couldn’t take it. It was hysterical. Angie with the scroll. I’m not even really clear. Are any of us really clear why Meredith and Angie dislike each other so much. It seems like Angie was pissed that Meredith disregarded her because she wasn’t really full time, and Meredith didn’t like stuff she said, and so became bigger than it is. But I don’t think there’s anything that’s truly deep, if that makes sense. And the scroll was great. I like Angie. I liked her a lot last season. I’m looking forward to her this season. I’m not a huge fan of Whitney. Listen, I agree with Whitney that Lisa Barlow makes everything about Lisa Barlow, but I kind of love it. I can’t help but love Lisa Barlow. She’s a character. She’s delusional in the best way. I enjoy her. Whitney’s always annoyed me when they were all going after her being a liar. I don’t really know. I’m thinking the real reason they’re all pissed is because maybe Whitney was the only one of them advocating a little bit for Monica to come back like she was more open to it than they were. That’s what makes sense to me, for all of them to be so mad there, there is something to the argument of like, the cash shouldn’t call the shots on who’s cast. But I personally believe that it was less that and more that production didn’t really see the value in her past the storyline, and they didn’t want the audience to feel that you could be an online troll and come out and become a real housewife. Do you know what I’m saying? So I think that had a big part in it. I don’t think it was only the cast, because they never that never stopped jersey from casting people that Teresa didn’t like, and I didn’t stop OC from not casting Alexis, who clearly shot and didn’t want on Oh, last night’s OC was so it was really interesting, because they’re talking about the equality piece. And you guys, if you’re in cocktail party, will remember an email we got without naming names, a couple who is now engaged, the fiance, the male counterpart of the couple. Is that like accepting.
Of trans and the LGBT community. I found it interesting that at the party, Alexis was so upset, and she talks about the lawsuit, but we got that email during filming, and I wonder if she was so upset because she was struggling with different issues in her life, such as people in her life not accepting her children for who they are. If that’s not true, and I hope it’s not true, I hope the email and the intel that we got about that person not accepting the LGBT community, I hope that is completely false. I feel that if it is false, there will be a statement made by the person who allegedly doesn’t accept of them. So let’s watch and see that space, because as a parent, that is obviously a priority for her. So I would hope that it is not true, right? People, anybody can email stuff, anybody can say somebody said something, and as that narrative goes around, and it will, because now we said it,
and now we said it in the words of Camille grammar, I would hope that there would be a retraction, or somebody saying that isn’t true. Or I did feel that way, but now I’ve educated myself kind of thing. So yeah, when Amanda and I are back together, we will discuss in great detail, Salt Lake City first episode, fantastic. We will, of course, discuss OC we have New York coming on October 6, and a lot of stuff to look forward to. So now we’re going to get into Amanda and I discussing the victims. We also get into some Vanderpump and valley scoop and all we do lighten the mood away from the Diddy thing, but it’s too big of a story, and we have covered it too much in cocktail party not to discuss it, as uncomfortable as it is and for us, and we talk about this later in the pod as women, and how triggering that the topic can be for all of us. we can talk about all of this stuff and all of these crazy details, but want to bring it back to the victims, which it does seem like there were many, unfortunately, and we’re thinking about you. We’re praying for you, and I just keep thinking, it must be such a mixed feeling to be seeing this happening, while it might feel good to see justice, hopefully getting served, it must be truly awful to have to relive a lot of this. Our hearts go out to the victims. It’s interestingly enough, I’m watching you that I had the Tell me lies, which I won’t go into any details, because I know only some episodes are out, but which, by the way, cocktails are asking us when we’re gonna cover that. So we will go, we just 100% well, and I won’t say who, and I won’t go into detail, but there is a portion of it, and not to upset anybody. And kind of trigger warning if sexual abuse is obviously triggering to all of us, but if it’s especially triggering to you. But I found myself watching it, and I have to say that, so they’re in college. I feel like this was like 2008
which is like after I was in college, still long enough ago where you would hope things are different. And I don’t think that there is a woman our age, Amanda, who doesn’t know someone or didn’t have an experience.
Experience at that age, I’m talking 16 to 20, early 20s, where them or their friend was in a position and didn’t say something. And so hearing this, so much of it becomes for victims. I went to the party a second time after I saw that. It was a little risky. There becomes so much blame for victims in these situations, because young people, and I want to say women and men, because I believe they were male victims, too. In his case, you are at a party and you are drinking and you are maybe smoking pot or doing drugs of your own free will. And so then when something happens, it becomes Wait, but I was not in my right mind, and am I remembering this correctly? And all of those things that play into it. And so it’s so complicated, and it’s decent people when they hear these things, just feel this, like how you felt when with like how we all felt with Harvey Weinstein, like this dread, this awful feeling of people being taken advantage of. And for those of you that are going to watch Tell me lies, you’re going to feel that feeling when you watch it, because there’s a storyline in there that’s disturbing and sadly familiar for college aged. I want to say women, because I’m a woman. Yeah, so it’s just all of these things need to be exposed, and we need to believe victims just and protect them. Yeah, because this is the level of, I think, courage it took for, really, for Cassie to be one of the big first few people. I think abri O’Day was constantly talking about what a bad guy was, but not in details. And then Cassie was also dating somebody, Kid Cudi, who is another performer, and his car blew up or something. Like, there was a lot of stuff that, like, there’s not proof, but when you say all of these things together, you’re like, oh my god, what is this person capable of? And those who are at these freak offs know what this person is capable of? Yeah, I agree. Enough of the dark. Yes. Sorry guys. Back to what I mean we it’s, I think it’s like we want to cover it, and then it just goes to this place of, and I’m sorry if it was triggering, serving, yeah, it’s disturbing for everybody, I’m sure. Okay, back to our usual, bravo. Bs deepens, this season, we’ve been super focused on Shannon and Johnny J and Alexis, because that’s been the main storyline. But we haven’t discussed Katie, Janella, the newbie, too much. I’m really enjoying Katie. I do think the situation with her and Gina, which we saw, play out, it’s been playing out to me. It seems like semantics. I think that Katie was coming on the show and Gina was pinned by production as get to know her, right? And so I think that Katie was, you know, running stuff by Gina. And I think Katie was like, Ooh, you know something I know I heard from my paparazzi friend, aka, who knows that could have been somebody in her DMs tipping her off. We don’t know who that quote, unquote friend is, but who would you think I should bring this up like I have proof that Heather debro does call paparazzi, and I’m willing to bet that Gina was like, Girl, I know you want to make a splash, but do not come on and do that because Heather’s gonna hate you, and people kiss the ring, and it’s just not good. That’s what I think. And I think that then Katie came on, and this is, I don’t know if you remember, but we got Intel while they were filming that production felt like she was a flop and she was really boring talking about Katie. So what I think happened was, I think production expressed that to Katie, and Katie was like, who I have a feather in my cap. I’ll bring up the paparazzi photos. I think that she didn’t run it by Gina. I think she popped off because we saw that time they were in the bar. She was like, oh my god, now that I know that she said this to everybody. Oh, I knew about this, but I told her not to say anything. But now, behind the scenes, when Gina explained it all to Heather’s position is still going to be like, you should have still told me that this was a possibility, right? Yeah, I think that’s why Heather isn’t like, super mad at Gina, because she believes that Gina told her, like, No, don’t go there. Don’t go there. So that’s what I think. I think it’s like semantics. I think I see why Katie did it. Do you see why Katie did it? It depends on how thirsty she is, and that’s me speaks of her level of thirst, because it does take bravery or and maybe a heavy dose of Navy to try to go up against Heather Dubrow. I just, I don’t think that’s not that anybody should be scared of her, but Heather Dubrow will out talk anybody, yeah, and she will, and she will win that argument eventually, because she won’t back down to me, it’s like the Sutton’s esophagus of the OC.
Katie and I’m just not into this whole story. I am definitely team Gina. I think that Katie is twisting Gina’s words. I think Gina actually is truly like a girl’s girl. I think she’s a good friend. I think she’s a normal person. I doubt she would ever be stupid enough to say out loud, I need Heather for my business. I think she might say something like, Heather has been great and sent some leads my way, but I don’t think she would say, I’m using her. I need her for my business. I’m with you. Gina has really grown on me this season, and to your point of her being a really nice, normal person, a follower, actually told me that her good friend, who’s lives in New York is Gina’s good friend from like, high school or whatever, when she was younger. And this person had the family situation and has an annual event. And every year, Gina comes from California to New York to this event, and is just a really supportive, nice person. I don’t believe Listen, do I think that in Gina’s head, she wants to be friends with Heather and stay on her good side, because she knows a lot of wealthy people, and it would be good for her business, yes, but who wouldn’t like any realtor would do that, right? Especially because I genuinely think Gina likes Heather to begin with. She always has before she was a real estate agent, she’s always admired her. Listen, if Heather was in my circle of friends, I think I’d feel the same way. I’d want to be her friend, like she’s fancy pants. She’s got a champagne bell in her house. Yeah, she’s, it’s, she’s like, a pretty shiny bowl, and you want to touch it and be near it. So I don’t think there’s anything. There’s nothing nefarious about that. Yeah, and I think that Katie thought that it would be like a cool I don’t really know what she thought, but she thought that maybe Heather would admit it, maybe people would. Maybe she thought, oh, I Oh, wait. I do think that she thought that Tamara might hop on it, because Tamara was like a dog with a bone last season, but Tamara’s moved on. Tamara buried the hatchet with Heather, so she’s not in a place where she wants to go there. So she didn’t take that bone at all. She was like, Yeah, have fun with that. Yeah. So Katie was left, and then she ended up Jen pedantry ended up being her bestie, which works because Emily and Gina have each other the team of three, especially on the OC, does not work at Trey’s amigas. I like Katie. I also want to say I really like Jen. I think Jen is probably one of the nicer, like in real life, nice, super sweet housewives, like across all franchises, she seems like such a pure, sweet soul, but her picker is off with that guy. I can’t he seems short on common sense to me, and that is just somebody in my life that I just I struggle with. It’s just not somebody that I think I would really vibe with. And we’ve talked about our rules for why housewives are good, and we have various ones, but there’s the housewife that you would love to go have drinks with, and then there’s the house right that you appreciate because of the way they are on their tell on television, even if you don’t necessarily like them. And Jen doesn’t really fit into either of those buckets for me, so I think she’s fine. I think it’s going to be really interesting to see all of the stuff that comes out, and guys, we have talked about it in detail about all the stuff that you know we’ll start to see on the show with Ryan and the whole Otani scandal, with the gambling Yes, you know what, though I will say about Tamara. You have to be a certain kind of person to know how, because Tamara knows Jen, and she knows how. Yes, I agree with the lack of common sense, obviously. But for Tamara to roll up, after being friendly with Jen all season and making up from last season, and put on the FBI hat like you have to be a certain special kind of asshole, because it’s just so mean. And I know that we need Tamara, obviously, it’s gonna make for great TV, but like, you just picture yourself doing that with somebody like Jen, who’s sitting there like a deer in headlights finding out that her now fiance, because they got engaged, like, a week before this all came out, and it’s just wow, like, and, yeah, do you notice this season how Emily’s trying to be a lot more like Tamara? Somebody called her out for that. I think Gina did on the show, and I don’t know if maybe because Emily, I don’t feel like Emily’s really changed that much. I think Emily’s kind of always called people out. But thanks to hire, I think she’s on the show a while, and she really enjoys being on the show, and she doesn’t want to lose her spot on the show, and so she feels like she’s securing her spot by being willing to go where Tamra goes. Tamara does it, and I just get the sense that she puts that FBI hat on, and Jen could be so upset, and so whatever. And she leaves and it doesn’t affect her, whereas I feel like with Emily, when she does it, she leaves and feels like a piece of shit.
But does it anyway, because she’s, I want to keep my job, and with Emily, I think that whole, if you’re thinking, like that whole conversation where Gina was in her car and called her after the like coffee with Jen, and Emily said some really mean things about Jen and her fake Rolex and whatever. I wonder too, if that whole conversation, if, I’m sure she knew that it was being recorded. But I get the feeling too, just like a lot of people, you might say things to your best friend that you wouldn’t say on camera. And that’s where I was like, wondering if, if there was something like that. I don’t think she’s trying to be more like Tamara on purpose, because I do think she wants to keep her spot on the show. I don’t know that. I think it’s that much, but she is good friends with Tamara too, and Tamara could be rubbing off on you, yeah. And also, it’s like anything else. It’d be inter I’d be interesting to see if Jen sticks around for a couple seasons, if she becomes meaner, I don’t feel that Gina really ever did become more mean. Maybe she sticks up for herself more, but I wouldn’t say she’s become more cruel. Where like Emily has for sure. Yeah, yeah. I would agree with that. Speaking of people who, again, sometimes be cruel, we’ve been seeing a lot from Stasi, just on social media. She had, you know, she did that little video with Lisa Vanderpump when she was filming for Vanderpump villa. She has this reality show coming out, and she is doing her book tour for her third book, so I would say she’s definitely on the come up right now. So I saw a post circulating, and I found it really very Stasi, right? So it’s an excerpt from her book, and I think she put it in her book. And again, I haven’t read the book, so I could be wrong. She could go after Sheena, but I the way she worded it, it’s like she was positioning it to be like, Oh, I must not be as good of a mom because I let Hartford her daughter eat sugar, but Sheena doesn’t yet. When you read the excerpt, it makes it look like I’ll read the excerpt. Stassi wrote a while back, I took Hartford to a dinner celebrating lala’s Five years of sobriety, Brittany and Sheena were there with their kids, and after the cake came, I looked over to see Sheena scraping the icing off the cake before her daughter, Summer, ate it. This was happening while Hartford was busy shoving her second piece of cake with icing into her mouth. Again, it happened. Was I a bad mom allowing my kid to have so much sugar? Should I be scraping icing off for my daughter so she could live a long, healthy life. But my kid loves icing. You can’t undo that. The second that Hartford tried icing, it was game over. Then I saw Sheena feeding her daughter broccoli. WTF? I tried the whole baby. So it’s okay. You’re trying to be like, Oh, look, she is already training her.
Daughter not to, quote, unquote, be fat. That’s what she’s that’s what she wants the reader to get. But she’s positioning it like, Oh, I’m the mom who should be stricter. I laugh a little bit about this because we know Sheena, we know Stasi, and I don’t know mom life. These things have gone through my head. I feel like being a mom, being a parent, is constantly questioning your own parenting decisions. Should we let them stay up so late? Should we let them have a second cake? Piece of cake? Because sometimes I don’t know I hear you, and I think you’re right above this implication, but I also have to say like sometimes when you’re parenting, you have to make decisions for what is the best, for the night or for the room or for the occasion. So sometimes that includes letting your kid have a second piece of cake, if it helps keep the peace, and means you can stay a little longer and finish the conversation that you’re having with your girlfriend. Like I remember when my son was six, and so my daughter would have been like three, that I let him have a coke and let both kids have all the sugar they wanted at their uncle’s wedding so that they could hang because the it was a night reception, I want to say we didn’t even sit down for dinner until seven o’clock. Do I let them have cokes every day? Now, even though one is a teenager, do you know, do we even say it’s okay to have a second piece of cake on the daily Absolutely not. I just have to say yes. Knowing sassy, I think the implication is there. However, I also see some parents making other decisions, so that makes me question my own and so I thought that was actually a normal thing. And it doesn’t surprise me one bit that Sheena would have that kind of black and white thinking when it comes to parenting. Yes, she’s a person who is pretty obtuse. Yeah, I don’t know. I just thought it was like classic Stasi shade disguised as not. She also talks about, in the book, she talks about how what really went down with Jax and Brittany and the wedding, and how, apparently, Jax was side, texting mutual friends, yeah, I’m not going to that wedding, yeah? Telling her and beau, yeah. And she was like, listen, our wedding was in Italy. We completely understood Lala couldn’t go because she had a previous whatever she was doing. And I understood it’s Italy. Not everybody’s gonna fly to Italy, but right people with decency who valued our friendship let us know ahead of time. They didn’t say yes up until a couple days before, and yet, whatever. And she says that she holds less resentment towards Britney because it was Jax doing that behind the back texting, and that she’s cordial when she sees Britney, but she wasn’t happy because Sheena and Brittany kind of ripped her to shreds. I don’t think Sheena was invited to Stasi wedding, right? I don’t think so. I think there’s no love lost there. They’re like frenemies always have been. Yeah, that is rude. I’m sorry if you’re saying you’re coming. Just never even mind the like, the side texting friends, which totally did get back them, but like to cancel last minute, essentially knowing that you’re not gonna that’s so it is so rude. I don’t blame her. And like, I think what she’s saying about that too, is like, Jax might make good TV, but like, we’ve all gotten Jax, and she’s like, we’re done, and I they don’t have a need to stay friends anymore because they’re not on the same shows. So I get it, and that’s what she said. She’s like, I know who this person is. And like, I’m over it. Yeah, I’m moving on. I don’t blame her for that at all. Yeah. I just thought it was Yeah. Is the thing, with all of this stuff like this is gonna give Sheena a whole bunch of podcasts episodes. She is totally gonna victim out. She’s gonna be talking about how her fourth cousin was a childhood diabetic, which is why she doesn’t want her daughter having icing. And it’s just gonna be a whole thing. Yeah, I guess I won’t be listening years. I’ll have to tell us about it.
I don’t think I’ve ever listened. I listened to clips, and I do love that the talk of shame Kiki is on her podcast sometimes. Now, oh my God, by the way, we never discussed this, right? So Kiki was on Sheena’s podcast. I watched the clip, and I actually did listen to a little bit of it. Anyway, Kiki, so I’m trying to remember what something happened with Tamara. Okay? And Tamara DM to Kiki and said something like, I don’t know what you’re so Kiki said she Okay. Tamara heard that Kiki said something on because Kiki does the podcast on under the serious umbrella, right? The reality checked. So I don’t know if it’s always, I think it’s mostly her now, but sometimes other people. So Tamara heard that something was said on this pod.
Asked, and she DMed, Kiki. Kiki, I did not say that I was actually at the Girardi trial, because she was covering the Girardi trial. So Tamara, are you sure? Because I heard this, and I called Andy, and I told Andy, why is she saying this? So Kiki said on Sheena’s pod that she said to Tamara, whoa, like you called Andy complaining about me. Are you trying to get me fired? And Kiki was rightfully like, Oh, my God, I can’t believe, like, Tamara is calling Andy about something. I didn’t even say it. But even if she did say it, Tamara is okay. So this is where it’s really troublesome. Tamara is somebody who her herself, has a podcast. When you’re on a podcast, as we are, as Kiki is, you get on a topic, and sometimes you just spout off at the mouth, and you say things that probably the person isn’t gonna love, but to call your boss and complain about that person is really messed up. Kiki is a content creator. She’s worked for years to establish her career, and now she has this wonderful opportunity on Andy’s network and for a housewife to call and complain about her is so messed up. And then Tamara, of course, posted something. She was like, I was not trying to get her fired. Okay, guess what? Andy probably doesn’t want to get a ton of complaints about, I hate to say it, it’s there’s a lot of content creators like Kiki doesn’t need that. Yeah, sounds exactly talk about birds of a feather. Vicky did the same thing and called whoever at a Heart Radio to complain that Teddy should not be on the podcast with Tara right back in the day. It’s the exact same thing. I can’t believe Tamara would do that, just even from that perspective, also just a shitty thing to do, but there’s just so many indications to me that Tamara is very much I can’t shake the feeling that Tamara is self producing, that Tamara is holding on to the orange like with the grip of she is now that she’s back, she will do anything to stay on, and she is so nervous for anyone to really call her out. She’s had a lot of backlash this season. She’s trying to please everybody, production, the fans. It’s not working. And I just think that she’s got to take a beat or something. Yeah, I agree with you. Okay? Before we hop off, I did want to talk quickly about Dubai, because we have not really talked about it much. I know we both talked about how we’re enjoying it. Love the new housewife. Taleen. I think she’s super fun, beautiful, spicy. She’s not afraid to stand up against others. I think she fit right in. I liked that we had to get to know some of the women in a better way, especially for me. I on because I did not love her the first season. But one thing I wanted to bring up that we saw in the reunion and really in the highlighted in the finale, was about Lisa and I on relationship, because they say we’re best friends. We’re closer than God and Jesus. And the finale showed all these scenes of Lisa being really controlling to ion, and I thought it was just a really interesting theme, just in women’s friendships in general.
Like this idea of being controlling to a friend, or trying to control who your friends are friends with. And it’s something I have definitely seen have is this something that you’ve ever either experienced or seen it happen with other friends I have? I think the stakes are so different in housewives, because I think that it’s more of alliance based, I will say that I remember it in high school. I remember it in college. To some degree. I’m a person who has, like, a ton of I just always have had a lot of women friends, and I really gravitate away from people like that. I’m just not a person who’s going to be under one person’s thumb. And I do know women that I feel like in those situations, oftentimes it’s both parties right where, like they both like having It’s okay. I think that it’s okay if you’re a person who likes to have like your person. I’m just not a person who believes outside of marriage, because obviously, I’m not a polygamist. I just don’t believe like I have, I love having women friends. I have always had a lot of women friends. And I really believe like I have such, like, varied friends, and,
yeah, all my relationships are so different that it just, I don’t know, with the exception of my sister in laws, obviously, yeah, which is like a family relationship. So it’s different. I just don’t have, and I never did like, I would always like, Oh, my best friends. And it would be like, my group of friends, like, I just have, it’s not another perspective, though. Have you ever been told certain things about a person from a friend or whatever, and then gotten to know that person separately and been like, Whoa, I see this person in a completely different light, 100% yes, I have. So this is weird, because this is where I’m a little weird. I am a person where, like, the enemy of my friend is my enemy, but in everyday life, that can work, right? So if I told the story about my best friend whose boyfriend cheated on her and like, I threw a drink on the girl, yeah, like, I have seen that woman as an adult, and I still will not acknowledge her like I
but the thing is, let’s say that my daughter was in her daughter’s class, and they became best friends. Now I’m at a birthday party with her, whatever it is, obviously I would get to know that person, but I’m not going to go out of my way to get to know that person. And the difference with housewives is you’re often put in positions like, let’s say, Taleem was never on the show. She would have never went out of her way to become friends with Stanberry, but once they were on a cast together, she couldn’t just sit there and hate her. And I think that’s where it becomes, like, taleen is looking at Brooks like, Girl, come on. You know that I have to be a part of this group now, and I have to move past this situation like, you know what I’m saying? Yeah, and like, ion and Caroline Stanbury. It turns out that they, they’re really funny together, and it took Caroline reaching out off camera to to for them to find that common ground. But right? I think ion had been listening to Lisa and let Lisa be in her ear and realize that. But where housewives have concerned, I think my point is it’s not so much. There’s no way to know, but in my opinion, it’s more. Oh, so now ions on stronger footing, because she’s got friends on both sides, and I only I don’t have that. Do you see what I mean? Yeah, so it’s not the same as if you and I are in a group of friends and you become close with a mom. Yeah, I agree. Like, I don’t necessarily think, as an adult woman, that’s the most normal thing in the world. Now, there are exceptions, right? If we’re coworkers, and a co worker did something really terrible to me and went to HR about some something I didn’t do and got me into trouble. And you and I have worked together, and we’ve always been friends, and you go out of your way to befriend the person, and you guys are buddy, but in that case, I would just distance myself from you, like, I wouldn’t fight with you about it. It would just be like, Oh, really, you’re going to be friends with that woman who told HR I did something I didn’t do Deuces 100%
like, it looks like, yeah, yeah, exactly. I guess that’s my point. Like, in in housewives, it’s more about their standing in the cast and screen time and all of those things, yeah. So just Dubai is coming back. I’m really nervous, so I got an email, and I actually trashed it, because I got a threatening message from a housewife.
Talk about that in cocktail? Oh, okay, about that in cocktail? Yeah. Honestly, I don’t know. I can tell you that the ratings were like 200,000
it’s not looking good. Hold on.
I have to go to trash. Sounds too bad. It really this. But this is the problem, too. Amanda, it’s like, I really liked it, but I did find myself like being like. It’s so long ago.
Bro, do you know what I mean? Yeah, I you know? I do think Bravo. Really did give it a chance to breathe too. They really did. They put it on at a time where there weren’t like three other housewife shows on, at least for the second season. So the persons that sent this was an anonymous email, but it said there’s nothing going on locally regarding Dubai season three, no production planning or meetings upcoming. The industry here is small. But again, that could be that they just haven’t picked it back up yet and they will, or that, yeah, they’re doing what we think they’re doing now, with all the shows, it’s just they’re letting more time elapse in okay, but they let too much time elapse, yeah.
