What’s up cocktail errs? Hey, cocktails Hey, baby. Hi, Amanda. Welcome home, Amanda. Thank you. I feel like I was barely gone. Cuz you know, it’s Labor Day week. And I feel like everyone is just feeling like, they just got like, hit in the face with reality. Oh my gosh, it is. It’s hard to get back into the grind. And it just it’s not like there’s no easing you in. It’s like, okay, work speeds back up. Because whatever industry you’re in, I think is calmer in the summer, especially the last couple of weeks in the summer. Yeah. And then it’s like, Okay, back to school. Wait, here’s all your after school activities for your kids. Also, you need to come to 15 meetings in September. And every sports now has an extra practice. So and by the way, they’re gonna all be on the same nights. So you just be prepared to drive for three hours, which is
I think I was driving actually almost exactly three hours last night with multiple carpools. And I am not gonna lie. I’m not usually one to like, just, you know, open a bottle of wine if I’m by myself, but last night it was like I’m having a glass of wine while I’m making dinner. And my kids and my family sat down to dinner at like eight o’clock at night because we had been in the car since 420. Got home at 720 Oh my gosh, yeah, it’s a lot. That’s a lot. So anyway, welcome to September everybody. Welcome. We hope it’s calmer for you guys but something tells me September for everyone is just hectic. I think so because like regardless even if you don’t have kids, right you’re coming off of Labor Day weekend and everyone’s like kind of back to full steam with work and everything in some ways once it gets going. I do enjoy the schedule again because the end of summer you know everyone takes time you go away you kind of get into like this like no routine days lead into the days so it is nice to kind of have the structure and like actually look forward to a Friday and a weekend and I totally agree I am I mean I’m a Virgo I enjoy my structure so it doesn’t it’s just sometimes it feels a little like a slap in the face when you’re like oh my god I’m like running from like, as you like to say my seven jobs to then going to pick up my kids and driving for freakin three hours of carpool. So I’m like, oh geez. So anyway, when
wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m definitely not complaining. It just, it was definitely worthy of opening some wine last night. And tonight, yeah, let’s when it’s so hot in New York, I’m definitely probably going in my pool after this because I need to call off. I love it. Okay. So, you know, things have been pretty calm and quiet, at least on the gossip front. And then like all hell broke loose. Last week when you got that DM telling you that Carl called off his engagement to Lindsay we’re talking summerhouse, guys, to Lindsey on Tuesday night.
So yeah, so Wednesday afternoon, you know, me, I’m minding my business not and
I get a DM the person says they heard he called off the engagement Tuesday night. Now, at this point, nobody had reported this. And I was just sitting there like, I know the way this works, right? So if I post this, and it’s not true, it’s gonna be like, you post something that big. That’s not true, even though none of our stuff is verified. And you know how many times we’ve posted casts of ultimate girls trip that never come to fruition? Like the sloth and
seven deadly sins, right? posting something like this is a little bit different. Right? Right. Once you’re dealing with Lindsay, who’s liable to go off on you. Yeah. But I said, I also know, the only way for a puzzle to come together is to post it because for whatever reason, once sources know that, you know, they’re more willing to kind of spill it. Right sources being friends of cousins of, you know, those kinds of sources. And, you know, the way that summerhouse and Vanderpump Rules are similar is that you’re dealing with more like quote unquote, regular people, they’re more normies than say, like Beverly Hills, housewives or even some of the other housewives like, right. They’re at an age where they’re out of bars, they’re out at clubs, they’re socializing. So they have a lot of eyes on them. And they have a lot of social friends that are more willing to spill. It’s not the same as a woman who’s married with kids and splits with her husband is less likely that their people are going to spill because it’s a smaller, tighter, closer circle than people who are around large groups of people in bars in the Hamptons or Hollywood, right like Vanderpump and summer house. So that makes it a much looser. Listen, there’s more leaks in their circles than in other circles. So I had heard previous to this. We had heard they were fighting a lot this summer, which really doesn’t mean anything. You’re planning a wedding. We watched Kyle and Amanda fight before their wedding. We all need a storyline. I didn’t put any stock into that. So when we found this out, the next thing I found out was they had filmed the weekend in the Hamptons. This happened. Coral called it off on a Tuesday. The plan was the Tuesday before Labor Day. Yes. And at that point, they had filmed their last weekend in the Hamptons. Now, I don’t know how they edit it. I don’t know if they’ll say it was a Labor Day party. But reality is they were wrapped in the Hamptons. Before the real Labor Day, you know, the first couple of days of September, right. So they were going to do pickups in the city. So the show was not wrapped. I saw some people saying oh, the show was the show was not wrapped, but the Hamptons house weekend filming was wrapped. Does that make sense? So they were still filming in the city? Yeah. Which I would imagine to a Hamptons house for Labor Day weekend, like the money that that that the rental of that would get, I can imagine why it would make sense to not go all the way through Labor Day, if you’re a production. Exactly. To make it look like you did but not right. Or to just celebrate in the city, whatever it is. Yeah. And we also don’t know how this season is going to look if there’s going to be more city filming, because a lot of them weren’t there every weekend. So we may see more weekday filming, that all remains to be seen. So he called it off and allegedly production knew about this before he called it off. I don’t mean weeks before but I mean, like a day or two or three before they got tipped off before she did. Yes. So we knew there was a lot of fighting this summer. Somebody wrote in and confirmed a lot of fighting. They said I think this may be a fight that went too far. But since cameras allegedly went back up, were in other words, we’re gonna see him calling it off. That was what you got on like Wednesday morning. Yes, yes. So I posted it on Wednesday. If it happened on Tuesday, I posted it like Wednesday early morning maybe like 11 or noon. We they confirmed that on Thursday like on Thursday, other outlets I believe Entertainment Tonight or whatever one of them. And there was the other
DM that you got that you also posted said, fighting all summer his parents intervened on camera, I think and told him not to get married friends told them to postpone. But they didn’t want to postpone. Honestly, once you see how the summer went, this won’t be surprising. So this is okay. So then at that point, it was like Wednesday night. And that was when you did wait, no. Was it Wednesday night that you did the emergency? Yes. You did the first emergency. Thursday night, Thursday night. Thursday. No, it was Wednesday. I was the third was right. It was because I had gotten to Mexico, left my phone in the room and came up from dinner to that your taxes. Like you’re like, can you get this up? Can you get this up? As like? Of course, of course. Yeah. Yes. So that was Wednesday nights. Because I know Thursday is crazy. Can you believe I figured out how to record by myself. Greg’s early. Put it up. But I’m proud of you. I really am. I told you that that night. I think that was great. I was I was adamant on that recording, because I was like, Oh, I don’t know. But this is what I’m hearing. And I know you guys want me to record something, you guys being the cocktail hours. Right? So then we get this email, which I knew the first part was bullshit. The recent reports of a certain couple calling it off or not true. At that point. I knew it was true.
It just there were too many people giving me details. And also, somebody would have spoke out. So this person said, there have been fights however, oh, god that scared me. And they said we assume the innocent party isn’t quite as innocent despite the other being known to get activated. So clearly, that was from Wendy’s friend or somebody. The there’s people working on a garage next door to me guys, which is why you might hear construction noise like we do our best. But at the end of the day, I am in my closet.
And I have a dog who is did we talk about the one about the calm conversation.
Okay, so then somebody follows up again, this is all Wednesday night, somebody follows up and says, it wasn’t a fight. It was a calm conversation, and he called it off. Now, this is where it gets interesting because I get a DM from somebody
who got something from somebody else. So this says, This is not me talking to Danielle, this is somebody else sending this Okay, so I talked to Danielle, this was very premeditated by Carl. He did this with production in full knowledge of the situation. They had finished wrapping in the Hamptons last week. And nobody knew he was planning on calling off the engagement.
Danielle is in Montauk. She’s going back to the city tomorrow to be with Lindsay for a while sidenote after this. I did hear that Lindsay may have gone to Southampton. That part’s a little confusing because it looks to me like Danielle was still out there. And I heard Lindsay was out there but then we heard she was in her apartment didn’t want to. Either way. They were together wherever they were her Lindsay and Danielle. She said to me, it’s not about being right in the moment. She just wants to be with her friend that needs her. Yeah, Danielle is the best. This is what this this person who’s saying this is telling somebody else not me. That person’s build to me. Carl legitimately had production pick up cameras and dumped her on camera. So then this person says a different person says okay, I talked to my production friend in Jersey, and they told me that their friend works on the Hamptons crew for summer house and that allegedly Carl was not happy with being reduced to a friend of in a recurring status that impacted their income greatly.
The way it was explained to me was that he blamed Lindsey for what happened with that. And yeah, that was allegedly a big factor in things now another source told me that Lindsey was pissed off about their finances so obviously it sounds like the fighting was coming from the finances because apparently Lindsey was pissed off that he left love Loverboy before securing another job yeah well I mean I can see how they would have both also just been surprised and disappointed to be named friends of when Kyle and Amanda got to stay as main cast throughout their engagement and now their marriage and from all appearances because I follow them on social media the lifestyle that Lindsay and Carl live looks expensive and you know what Amanda This all brings me back to the suppose it Bethany clause which allegedly means that they get a cut of everyone’s business Guess who doesn’t really have a business the two of them so yeah, Amanda and Kyle are gonna stay because they have a successful Loverboy business they’re getting a cut of Paige has several successful Geek Squad and Amazon and all that, that they get paid from Danielle now has that app
She’s launching, right they’ll get paid from. Lindsay and Carl have nothing like that they have partnerships and things like that. But I don’t think that Bethany Claus effects, something like that. Well, and let me be devil’s advocate here because I mean, they could put Bill Gates on there. Take their percentage and then that would be boring right. So I don’t think that’s always the main decision maker. I bet it could be a tiebreaker in some cases. I also think Kyle and Amanda are way more interesting to watch than Carlin Lindsey. I don’t find Carl and Lindsay together on screen on a day to day to be that as interesting I think Kyle is a party animal and he you know, and then watching him and Amanda fight about him being a party animal is still entertaining. taining me, and I think maybe they will be more interesting this season and who knows? Okay, well, then here’s the next thing that a friend from Pittsburgh told me. Yeah, I’m from Pittsburgh, and I know Carl’s childhood best friends. We were told months ago, Carl was only with Lindsay because the producers pushed for this. They were also told to follow through with the wedding because they will make more money than a divorce will cost. I don’t how do you feel about that? Because I find it a common spirit health. I probably have like the unpopular opinion here because I was texting with some friends about this whole topic. And they’re like, how would I actually believed it was real, or at least I believe that either like Lindsey was truly in love with him. Or that she believed that she was truly in love with him. It’s harder to say with Carl just given the way that he’s now acted, but I believed I believed it. And I you know, I liked I liked the idea of friends becoming you know, a married couple like, I liked that whole idea. I just didn’t. And then seeing like Lindsay’s legitimate happiness in those pictures of from her bridal shower where he showed up, it just, I don’t know, I was bullied I, I was I was buying what they’re selling. I agree with you. I just I can’t wrap my head around this all being fake. You know, I was on Larry’s pod, which was the day it was confirmed. And we were sort of like coming up with all different theories. And I just always go back to the fact that I just it seemed authentic. At least you know, Carl’s a harder person to read. But Lindsey is a very like, honest person when she’s mad. You know, she’s mad when she’s happy. You know? She’s happy
to go all the way okay. Also, I hear she’s legitimately devastated and shocked. Fighting doesn’t mean ending an engagement. The other thing about it, Amanda, is that their friends and wedding guests are legitimately pissed because the hotel is non refundable. non refundable. But here’s the kicker.
They called it off on Tuesday, two days before so let’s say Sunday, it was still refundable.
So Carl called this off and if it’s true that production to a couple of days before he called this off,
after like knowing, I don’t know, maybe that wasn’t forefront in his mind. But
it’s selfish if it’s not forefront in your mind. Like, well, and here’s here’s another thought that I’ve had and I have not had a chance to listen to your unlearn.
This podcast so I can’t wait to but if this was a theory you guys came up with forgive me. But I also wonder if it you know, sometimes these couples have things that they are actually fighting about, but don’t fight about on camera, right, like we saw it with Ariana and Tom and
I always wondered was Lindsey you know, when Lindsay Lindsay stopped drinking for a long time right to be supportive of Carl and then she started it again. And then she kind of went seemingly to her old ways. And when we saw that happen, I was constantly wondering, is that a source of friction in the couple, you know, especially because here’s how that can look right? Like if one person is sober, and the other person is partying, it’s not just the like, I’m having a drink, and you can’t, it’s the I want to go out until you know, and then I want to stay out. And of course, you know, I had a vodka or Espresso Martini. So now I want to stay out until 230 In the morning, and the sober person doesn’t. And so does the sober person go home and then as a sober person mad because the person who’s not sober is still staying out. But the person who is not sober feels like well, I shouldn’t have to like go home early. Just you know, I write I’ve seen it happen with many couples before I could totally imagine. But that maybe that wasn’t something that they were publicly, aka on camera fighting about. I think that makes a lot of sense. And I think we saw last season. And we know, because we swords in yellow saying your relationship isn’t perfect. And you only show the cameras what’s perfect, right? Which no relationship is perfect. And every relationship has disagreements. So it sounds like we’re gonna see more fighting this year. But I think that the rest of the cast probably just thought that was them being more authentic, or even them kind of looking for a storyline? I don’t know, because my sources are not the cast. But they said nobody knew there was a cop. What I heard was there was a conversation with Carl and Kyle prior to him calling off the wedding. But he didn’t like say to Kyle, by the way tomorrow I’m calling it off. Like he just I think was talking about their fights which How many times have we seen Kyle go to him with similar
with Amanda like them fighting? You know, so
but apparently I don’t I think we’re gonna see on the season. I don’t know if it’s just his mother or if it’s cast members, or if it’s just friends because we you know that sometimes they do have friends at parties and they have combos and stuff, right? But people encouraging them like you there’s no rush, you guys can put the wedding off a few months. Wow. What about that theory from one of our cocktail colors that said, what if they are making money on hotel rooms with all of their recent travel partnerships, it would make sense that they get a cut of whoever books at the wedding resort and waiting till it’s non refundable. Make sure they get their money. I mean,
assuming this isn’t fake, which we don’t believe the relationship is fake. We believe it’s real.
Then it was Carl who called off the engagement. It was Carl who called it off two days after they were refundable. So again, that would be on Carl.
Yeah, I mean, here’s the thing I doubt it’s I doubt the timing was about making money specifically on the rooms I mean, you’ve you’ve gotten married you’ve been part of weddings I’ve gotten married I’ve been part of weddings when there’s a block of rooms you get a discount you don’t make money based on who books but we’re not influencers right and I was gonna say there could be some sort of influencer contract that they either couldn’t get out of or couldn’t cancel without being you know, penalized like having to give some money back however, with the resort I don’t think that backing out or I don’t think that all of this press is going to be bad publicity for them because the resource kind of the neutral party in this right I think that was just collateral damage. I don’t think there was anything I bet I mean, maybe but I doubt there was something that they’re like purposely making money on the people who are coming to the wedding. I think it’s more about some kind of contract with the resorts but you know, somebody threw this out there in our cocktail or discord and by the way guys, most of the stuff that goes on in there we don’t talk about but this one feels felt safe to me sending a lot of people have kind of wondered this is because all the rooms are not now not refundable. Will there be some kind of redemption
trip that comes out of this meet where Lindsey and and a lot of the girls go and maybe they film any event.
I would love that. I think you know what it okay, here’s the thing. So many fans of Bravo summerhouse have DM to me and said, Oh, come on already. Doesn’t this all feel so phony? And my answer to that is? No, because you’re dealing I understand it’s on the heels of scandal, right? But you’re dealing with people who are engaged people who are dating, people break up. Look, Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner just broke up, people break up. The difference is we’re invested in this couple we’re invested in their lives. There’s also a lot of pressure on, which is a whole other thing that we got, which I spoke about in one of the bonus pods. And I’ll share that for those of you guys who aren’t cocktail hours. I think I put that in here. But I’ll just sum it up very, very quickly, a couple in the spring, there was a Loverboy event. And at the Loverboy event, a couple of my followers were in the bathroom and some girl was crying and saying she was pregnant by Karl and upset because, you know, he wanted nothing to do with her some wild story. Now my followers were like nobody believed it. Pharrell wasn’t even at the event. It was just very bizarre. And so when I posted that and cocktail party, other cocktail, there’s messages and they were like, we were at that event and that bathroom like cameras were in there, like producers were in there getting the person out of the bathroom, like whatever it was. So let’s assume that that was just a made up person. People want to do that why people want to get on camera people want to get on the show. There’s all this is Manhattan, it’s like Hollywood people want to be famous. Okay.
That puts a lot of pressure on a relationship. There’s so much pressure. So I don’t think because they broke up it means their relationship was fake. I think it just shows you how hard it is. I mean, look at these couples. Look at Kyle and Amanda, how hard it was for them. Look at Paige and Craig Hanson, people are constantly under a microphone under a microscope. Like, you see all these rumors. Oh, Craig was out in Charleston and Paige wasn’t there. And he was next to a girl. I mean, if you’re in a relationship and you’re out without your significant other and you’re a reality star, you have to like basically or without Dorinda do. Yeah. Yeah.
Beautifully said you have to do the COVID protocol, if you’re around the opposite gender, I mean, so it just becomes this pressure cooker. I think. And we have said this, and most fans of the show have said many of whom, like Carl and are happy for his sobriety. This is not the environment for a person who is working on their sobriety and who’s in a fragile state, not the pressure on your relationship, not being around people. And we’re not talking about call going out to dinner in Manhattan, his friends having a couple glasses of wine and him going back to his apartment sober. You’re talking about living in a house every weekend with people getting blackout drunk, and people are cracking beers open at 1030 in the morning, which again, no judgments here, because I have been known to do that on vacation as well, but like to do that weekend after weekend and be around that that is less than optimal for sobriety. I think what people are a little put off by is that a lot of the information that we’ve been getting, seems to be making Carl the bad guy and what some people pointed outward, you know him ending engagement that he really determined after the summer and after all of this was not the right. Move for him for her. He couldn’t marry her. He didn’t see it lasting, right. Let’s assume that, let’s say my My thing is if what we’re hearing is true, that producers knew and if all of that is true, which we might never know, like who called production, if it’s in their contracts, even like if something big happens you have to call us within 24 hours where you don’t get paid like we don’t know. Right? But what we do know is that
you know, they were finished filming this week. He probably could have done this after. Yeah and given her time and then called production and been like listen, the wedding’s not happening in November. We can film a scene whatever like given her time to process it to come to terms with it unless she did something really horrendous to him because there is another thing that I got that I don’t know details on but apparently there was a big fight between the two of them this the last weekend in the Hamptons, which was the weekend before the Tuesday he called it off.
So he she could have said something to him that made him be like this is it and he could have been so angry that in that moment he felt spiteful and did this
When we’ve heard Lindsey, you know, in anger, say a lot of absolutes that she doesn’t mean, so I can see that being a possible. I mean, and I agree with you, right? Like,
if Carl made this decision, and he did it the way that you had just said, like, I think people would understand, right, they probably like some people might still take Lindsay side, but, you know, you can respect that. What is tough to me is an I feel it makes me just feel kind of gross is doing this breakup on camera, telling production talent, you know, doing all that. But then, I think, you know, from what we’ve been hearing, Carl’s family has been going on camera, and has talked to him about not going through the wedding, and then saying things about Lindsey behind her back, and like, that’s just
gross to me. Like if they had reservations, share them privately. It’s Carl’s mom and his stepdad or I don’t even you want to call them a stepdad and her new husband, right, there’s no rule that that needed to be done on camera. And so it just it just makes curl look like the thirstiest of them all. And it looks like he is trying to be the sympathetic character in this. And I don’t know if he’s the one who decided I can’t be with this person, which it sounds like he did. Then like, maybe take the heat, like publicly like because the reality is you make this decision after her bridal shower. I mean, once the bridal shower passes, that is really down to the wire dude. Yeah, I mean, he showed up to the
August 14, smiling, hugging her dancing. There’s videos all over. Now. They have not neither of them have made a statement. I don’t know why that is. I don’t know if the show told them to keep a lid on it. I don’t know if she’s really in denial. I don’t know if he’s holding off until they can make a joint statement. I do know that Gabby and Danielle, were two that I heard rallied around her. I’m sure the other girls are rallying around her. We also did hear that even Kyle and if this is true, even Kyle is kind of team Lindsey about the breakup. So,
you know, we rumor, she hadn’t left the apartment, but then you know, we heard she was in the Hamptons. So I don’t know. I do know, a broker in Manhattan told me that their apartment is already listed. I don’t know if that may have been a financial issue. Maybe they had listed it prior to the breakup. I don’t think so. But, you know, I don’t know. I it’s just I also heard that Kyle this summer offered him a job with Loverboy. But you know, I just said that, Kyle. I don’t know whether he accepted at that time. He was with a friend like a childhood friend, I think but if you if you guys saw those pictures, he looked quite morose and serious, which by the way, he really should because he would have been roasted like a pig on a spit if he was smiling in those pictures. Right. So okay, I want to talk about some theories. Do you think
that this all could have been planned? You know that that may
Maybe they, they both or he knew that they didn’t want to go through this wedding and went to the whole summer to film and decided to do this like scan of all ending pull up the cameras after they’d kind of halfway wrapped to make it as dramatic as possible for the ratings.
I think it’s all possible. The thing that gives me pause, is the fact that we’re being told that the resort was non refundable, and their friends are out the money. Could it be that if that’s part of the whole scam the friends are sending me that? It seems a little intricate? Yeah, it’s a little intricate. I mean, there’s a lot of moving parts here. That lead me to be like, Okay, here’s the thing.
You’re not gonna get away with that with a cast who even if things were copacetic this summer doesn’t really like you.
Like how you gonna pull that over on Ciara and page? Because they’re gonna find out and at the reunion, they’re gonna say, it’s all bullshit. This whole thing was set up, they never plan to get married. Yeah, yeah, I mean, Paige can smell a rat from all you know, she’s, she’s been and isn’t afraid to talk about it. So, okay. So do you think then, perhaps Carl made this decision and decided to make it as scannable? Ask, you know, because he made this decision, you know, within the last week or so? Well, there’s a third option, Amanda, the third option is do we think that the breakup is fake? And they’re actually going to get back together? And that’s why the friends have non refundable hotels and cry. Yeah. And they’re just gonna get back together. And that’s why they haven’t had a statement come out. And I mean, there’s definitely, you know, because I do believe they were legitimately friends before. And I think if you’re really friends before, I think it’s really hard to just end it and be done. And they’re probably still talking, and they’re probably still having, I would guess, like, I think that’s, I mean, I think it’s a possibility, especially if Lindsey is shocked. And she’s like, Well, wait, what?

you asked, does, Carl, do you think Carl, one of his scannable effects, I think it’s certainly pop possible. Let’s remember something Carl came back to the show sober, single, not being partner with Liz Lindsay. It isn’t as if he is only on the show because of Lindsay because there was a full summer of him sober. And that would have been a great opportunity for him to duck out of the show. So clearly being on reality television is a priority for him. Yeah. So I think all things are possible. I also think that people are very quick to,
like, correlate Carl being sober now with him being a saint. I mean, I such a good point, right? Like, he was a good point. He was a dick when he was not sober. And I gotta tell you at this reunion, where he was sober, he was a dick. He’s quite feisty, he can get quite vicious. And I think it’s sort of
weird to be quite honest, that everyone acts like because he’s no longer drinking and partying. It made him a saint. I think he’s, I think he could be a big dick. And I think, if he’s really mad at Lindsey, if real if Lindsey really pissed him off, if he really wanted to call off the wedding, because he was like, I can’t marry her based on x, y, and z. I can see him being cruel to her. I don’t think that’s outside of the realm of possibilities. I’m not saying I know that that’s what happened. But people are like reacting to this like, oh, he would never Yeah, I mean, I think he might.
Yeah, I that is I think the such a great point. I love that point. Because you’re right, like, getting sober doesn’t take all aspects of your personality, the good and the bad, and, like, rearrange them and change them. Like, essentially, you’re still the same person. And if you have dig tendencies, you’ve got Dick tendencies, whether you’re sober, or you’re not. So do you think he has a future on the show after this? No. You know, what, assuming everything we’re hearing is true, right? That a lot of this stuff happened on camera and that, you know, he pulled production and all of that stuff. I really as a future, my knee jerk reaction was just to say now, but I’ll change that. If they’re both willing to sign on the dotted line to go there in whatever condition they’re in next summer. Sure, because we
love maths, right. So if these people are willing to go, they’re having cold off their wedding and not on the best terms, because I can’t imagine that from now, which is September, to the beginning of July, you could be on copacetic enough terms to want to get a sharehouse with your ex fiance who broke up with you and humiliated, like, you know what I’m saying? Oh, no, oh, hell no, I don’t care if you are frickin saying. No. So I think that the show would choose Lindsey, because activated single Lindsey or maybe Lindsey with a new boyfriend next summer is more fun than Carl. Yeah. But I think that if Lindsay said, yeah, let him come. I don’t care. I think he would go because he went, he went the first summer he was sober. I don’t think there’s financial issues. He doesn’t have a job. Yeah, even if he gets a job. How do I say this nicely? You know, he worked in sales before this, right. He has partnerships through reality, once he’s off reality, reality television that washes up. He’s been very open about the fact that his career was not in a place he wanted it to be. And that Kyle did him a favor by hiring him. So it isn’t like he has some career to turn to.
Once he’s off reality television, he’s going to have a modest sales job in New York City, which I can tell you, New York City is expensive. And he’s used to wearing designer clothes and living in a $14,000 a month apartment, and all of these things that won’t be affordable.
Do I think that?
Possibly he’s had it and he made a decision to change his life move back to Pittsburgh, get a sales job? live a more simple life? Not really. Because then why did you have the production come and throw cameras up? Why wouldn’t he have done it in a more decent way? Yeah. So I think this is just about as messy as it gets. Assuming this isn’t some scandal plan, which I don’t think it is. I think this is just about as messy as it gets. And I don’t even know where you go from here. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I just, I can’t see. And although, you know, I’ve been very surprised to see that Ariana and Tom can even be in the same room together. And, you know, filming in larger groups that that really shocked me, although apparently there was a blind item circulating that production tried to bamboozle her and make her have a conversation with him. And she had like one of their events. And she refused and was very pissed off. Yeah. So I mean, I guess but I mean, the living in the same house together. They also live in the same house, but it’s not a party house. So right, yeah. Like I stay in my room when he’s home and whatever. Yeah. And that’s also because they Oh, and this is the other thing that I posted to Instagram and my site. But that’s also a legal issue for everyone wondering why she still lives there. If she leaves, there’s a whole legal issue that could come into play about her abandoning the residence and not being entitled to the money like, the house is worth over a million dollars. She can’t abandon it. She’s not. Yes, she has a lot of partnership deals, but she’s not a multimillionaire. And even if she was who abandons a property and loses all that money, it’s not the same as renting a property and living together. Yeah. But the fact that their house is that their apartment is already on the market can only mean two things. One, everything’s legit. And they really got to get rid of the apartment, because financially, they can’t afford it. And they got to get out of that lease. Or if they make up and the breakup is all fake, they got to get out of that lease, because when they lower their salary on summer house and everything else they just legitimately can’t afford. Don’t forget he had his job at Loverboy when they got that too. Yeah, yeah, that’s it. That’s an expensive lease $14,000 A month each? And is it possible that they said to each other, you know what, we’re not making as much money because we’re friends of, if we pull this off, if we do a fake breakup, we could demand more money, we could go back next season, quote, unquote, made up and married and whatever, we could get a spin off, we could do all of these, all of these things become possible, where they backed into a wall financially, that they created this whole scenario. I guess it’s possible. And in that case, I don’t think the wedding guests or anybody was in on it. I think it’s I think it’s a pact between the two of them if that’s the case, because if they let anybody in on it that cash will spill on them. Oh, for sure. Like at the reunion I mean, I don’t mean to blog spill on them. I mean, at the reunion, you’ll see that oh, you fucking lied about this. Yeah, yeah. You were never broken up. This was all a ploy because you couldn’t afford your apartment, and you couldn’t afford whatever your wedding. And this was just a way to extend your reality television career. Yeah, I think the truth is somewhere in the middle. I think Carl decided somewhere after the bridal party. Bye
It’ll shower that he was done, perhaps one after one of these fights after, you know, in the last week in the Hamptons, and then decided, hey, just I’m gonna go as big, you know, go as big as I can. And, you know, make this as big as I can now that I’ve made this decision, I don’t I think it sounds like Lindsey was truly, truly blindsided, but I guess we’ll see. And we’ll be able to see like, the cocktail hours are smart. And you guys will all pick up and send screenshots of being like, No, I don’t believe this person’s expression right here. This looks fake. Like, all of us, you know, will will be on to you guys. If this really is something that you guys have put together and try to make try to feed to us over a whole summer like we’ll be on to you will smell the rat. Yeah, I agree.
Okay, let’s talk a little bit about Salt Lake City which just premiered so we are recording. say is I got to think about this Wednesday. We’re recording a little bit early just because of the craziness of this week. So Salt Lake City last night. What did you think overall?
I was blown away. First of all, first of all, I was very down on Salt Lake City Nessie, where I did not like the whole Genja aspects of it. I know some people found that very exciting. I didn’t glorifying her taking advantage of elderly people. I just was disgusted. I didn’t like Heather last season. I didn’t like any of it.
This new girl Monica is messy. I hear from my sources that she goes in. Yes. She’s after Elisa. I think maybe she teamed up with Meredith. Um, so here’s the thing, and I started posting them last night we got a lot of scoop on Salt Lake City, but I posted like while it’s filming and then I forget all about it. So I I do need to go back and look through it. But we did watch her. We watched her say she was in an entanglement, right?
And then you see them bleep adjectives. Yeah, I was banging and they bleeped it out. She was banging her husband’s brother Amanda. Oh my god.
No, I remember from the tea. Yeah. Oh my god. That’s how Wow street here it is. Word on the street is the new girl cheated on her hobby. Ex hobby Now, question mark with his brother. Also, she threw a shoe at a Greek Orthodox Easter party that Angie K hosted the Utah streets are talking. I also hear she doesn’t people are like how she How does she have so much money if she was Jen Chas assistant. I hear she doesn’t have so much money. But I hear that she made herself known to casting during the trial, but that she obviously could not be on the show when she was a federal witness in the case. So they weren’t able to film her last season. So she’s there. She’s raring to go. I don’t think she has a lot of money. I think she wants to have a lot of money. I think she’s willing to do anything to get that money. I also think it’s kind of funny because like whatever Jen shot told you, you gotta take with a grain of salt. Right? Right. She wasn’t exactly a truthful kind of gal. Yeah. I don’t know. I think she’s going to be I think she’s going to be fantastic.
Okay, what do we think do we think Heather gay is going to have a redemption season because everyone loved her in season one.
Yeah, seeing her last night. Very happy for her her new home looks beautiful. Seeing her last night there are qualities about her that I think are very relatable and I don’t know sweet and endearing. And then the producer is like, so like, are you Why don’t you know whether he is or not? And she’s like, I mean, I just haven’t had a chance to ask Him and who the producers like, doesn’t he live here? She’s like, Yeah, yeah. What about Meredith with the bathtub? I think Merritt is really mad about the drug accusations that she believes came from Whitney and the bathtub is like a

And I just like my favorite part of the show, is you know how each of the shows has their own flavor right in New Jersey is all about family in New York is so much about the city. And Beverly Hills is about the money in the glam and like the Mormon Church or the shadow of the Mormon church. And it like it. It just makes it so interesting to me, especially when like Lisa was talking on the show last night about how her son decided to do a mission, which is a very common thing for more men kids had been historically more men were the boys but the girls go down too. But for her to be talking about this and how her own son is like, but you and dad are different, I think implying like but you and dad drink and you and dad don’t follow the rules of the church. Right? You can tell like that caught Lisa to the core because I think Lisa in her own mind is like, I am a pious Mormon, and I also drink and party you know, I think that has got to be a big internal struggle for her that this conversation has brought to light on the camera and to see
her struggle with that. I just think I don’t know. That’s just that’s one of my, one of the things I really enjoy about the show I enjoy hearing. I think it’s very interesting hearing about what it’s like to be ex Mormon, and how there are so many Mormons who are, you know, looking to not necessarily follow all the rules, but then still stay within the community. And I think that’s a really interesting dynamic, I don’t know, I think love the show. And I know we’ve discussed this before, and with other housewives from other cities, I always enjoy and other shows like chars and family karma. And I always love to watch other cultures, other religions, religions, I love to see their traditions. And I think it’s especially interesting to watch these people, whether they be housewives, or in the case of family car karma, we have a gay couple and try to live, try to respect their culture and honor the traditions of their religion or their culture, while being their authentic selves and living in a modern world. Right. Right. So I think it’s always I think it’s an important thing for us to see, I think it’s an important conversation for us to have. And I think it’s very relatable. I think most of us feel that we’re different than maybe, I don’t know, how are like, yeah, you deviate from doesn’t mean you’re a deviant, right, like, but you do tend to deviate, or there are situations and I have a friend of mine, it was actually my mom’s friend. So my mom’s friend’s daughter is much more religious than she was raised. And so that has been interesting for my mom’s friend and her husband who passed. But it’s been an interesting thing to kind of observe and watch how her parents kind of became more observant. And, and as a parent, you relate to it, right? Because you never want to feel like you’re setting a bad example for your child. And I don’t think Jack means that. But I think as a parent, it’s hard not to take it that way. Well, especially that he was planning this for a year without their knowledge. That would not just make me feel bad as a parent, that my child didn’t feel like they can tell me something right, another recurrent theme we’ve seen just recently with Jessel on New York. But I would also just feel like really weirded out by I’m just going to go out there and say this, like if my child came back and said, I have been planning with, you know, a religious figure or figures to do this mission. I’ve been working on this for the last year. I would also be really weirded out by the religion like didn’t that they weren’t like, you know, you should really talk to your parents about this. That part to me, it was quite strange, and it felt it felt icky to be Wednesday. 4pm just got a DM from a follower just spotted Carl from summer house leaving his apartment. So I guess he’s back from Minnesota. I asked how to look. Mm hmm. Yeah, no, I think I’m happy about Salt Lake City. I wanted to a lot of you guys are asking me what is it at the end? At the beginning of the episode, it says May 10 2023, which is this day. So it’s nothing to do with Jan, when Heather has that whole flip out? Yeah. Couple things. Number one. It’s not about Jen. Number two, let’s remember the false black I have tried to make a moment I have asked my sources. They say that people are pretty tight lipped about it. My gut tells me it’ll be juicy. It’ll be something juicy, but it’s not. It’s not going to be nobody else’s getting arrested. Yeah. Although it’s called the press and hold the press something I have. Not that. Yeah, I have to repost a lot of the Salt Lake stuff we’ve had because we have received stuff that I think we’re going to hear about this season about businesses among these ladies not being on the up and up funneling money, washing money, all of these sorts of things. And it’s impossible for us to know what our accusations and what are real. I mean, we certainly watched Gen shag go to jail. One would think nobody else would continue to be on the show watching that if they weren’t on the up and up. But then again, we have learned over the years that housewives and the personalities on the shows don’t always think logically. Right. So I’m excited. I’m happy it’s back. It felt like an like nice little fresh breath of air to have like a whole new city and yeah, yes, cocktail hours. You guys are the best. And when I was planning my wedding I did as well. And it was just a fun sense of community and people like minded people like when I was getting married. And when I had an infant and now with Bravo. So we’re going to try it out. I so far, it’s been a lot of fun. And it’s also a place for the people that follow us to have a community because the reason we thought of it was everyone enjoys the zoom so much. But they’re live right? So you can only do it if it fits your schedule. This is like, if there’s people who want to chat, somebody’s always there. Yeah, there’s a lot of like shooting off a text, right? Like, everyone’s got two seconds to do it. And it’s super entertaining. Like my favorite thing without giving away. What it was is one of our cocktails posted a visual of the celebrities tattoo that I was talking about on the bonus pod because you know, we we go on some crazy tangents over there. And this person posted the visual, I don’t know if you’ve had a chance to look at it, but it it makes all the difference in the world when you actually see what I was talking about. So it just it’s a funny continuation of the conversation that we’re having on the pod into the discord and it’s a lot more real time than our previous kind of message board community was which is exactly what we had been hoping.
