Finally caught up on the season of Potomac and confused about Jason and Gizelle and also him kissing a blonde. I live in the same building as him in East Harlem, and everytime I see him he is with a different woman. Most of them are young and look in their early to late 20s. I can assure you where we live he would not have gizelle here and also he is not in any kind of exclusive relationship.

This is one of the reasons I hated the last couple of seasons of Potomac – the obviously fake storylines from Gizelle (Jason) and Ashley (“divorce” from Michael) – and Andy wasn’t really calling them out during the reunion. Like no one believes that Gizelle & Jason are actually a couple or ever really were. It’s insulting to the audience. I liked Gizelle in the beginning but she is so fake now, I don’t get the point of watching her. And now with the whole Karen dui and the firing of Candiace, what are they going to do next season? In my opinion, I was glad to see Robin go. She lost all trust from the audience when she pulled all that stuff with making people pay to hear about the Juan cheating rumors right after the reunion last year. Someone needs to remind these ladies that we are watching to see their real lives. That’s why we are invested in the show. You can only fool us with these make pretend lives for so long until we totally lose interest. If I wanted to be watching some totally fake storyline, I would be watching a scripted show
While Gizelle certainly has her faults, I don’t understand how poeple think Gizelle considered Jason to be her boyfriend or even took it that seriously. I never got that. She has said that they are free to do whatever they want. This has always seemed to be a situation where they get together periodically, enjoy each other’s company (take that for what you will), and then go about their merry ways. I didn’t think it is that serious.

I don’t get where Gizelle said they were a couple, though. I thought her comments at the reunion were pretty clear: it’s just some fun times but nothing serious, and she doesn’t want to hear details about other people he’s having fun with (and vice versa). I mean, go after them for things that happen, not for things that were clearly never said.
