This shop is never going to open, at least not with Ariana and Katie running it. Ariana clearly isn’t interested in it .
Since I just started watching this season, I can only speculate but to me it sounds like maybe Katie and Ariana are just the face of this place and it’s really owned by the chef and her husband. Could that be a thing? For publicity? It sounds like a pretty boring concept and not really that hard to pull off to me so I can’t believe it has taken them so long that they have done two menu tastings a year apart?

Katie said in an interview they’re no longer working with Penny & stopped at that. Couldn’t & wouldn’t elaborate.
