Shannon Storms Beador was arrested for DUI and hit and run. With her dog. We discuss the fallout, videos, friends’ statements and rumors surrounding the event. Are we ready for this season of Real Housewives of Orange County to wrap up? One of us is, one isn’t. Is Tamra taking it too far by going after Jen’s relationship in every scene? Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was pure comedy gold this week. Okay, so I think we need to just start out by addressing as BS calls it the Shannon have it all this weekend, Shannon promosi was arrested for drunk driving. It’s been all the news. I would be shocked if you all hadn’t heard quite a bit about it. What’s been so crazy, I think is like as we’re starting to see some of the videos and some of the like pictures of of all of it. She hit a house and then drove off when the police were called, parked the car and what looks like the middle of the street and then I guess pretended to walk her dog Archie, who was for some reason dragged into this and in the car is reported that she also left her phone at the restaurant she had dinner at hearing that it might have been the quiet woman, because John at least had been seen. They’re not sure if they were there at the same time. But I guess she went from John Johnson’s house to go get her phone and then crashed around the block from him. Not clear if where she was in the whole journey. If she was going, they’re coming back. But I did hear on two T’s in a pod. Tamra said you know she hasn’t been in that great of a place and we’ll talk a little bit more about that. But she was like she just had to move and I was like, Oh, I wonder if she had to move because now all of her kids are in college. So there’s probably some sort of change in her you know, maintenance and her divorce settlement which might have meant that she was not able to live in that house anymore. I don’t know just to that was just a thought I had right before we hopped onto record I actually got some clarity on that she had to move because the homeowners association she was living in and renting a $20,000.07 bedroom house in told her she was no longer permitted to film Real Housewives. So she recently I guess after this after they see her house anymore.
I guess not. I guess you know, homeowners association can do what you know, I guess too if you think about when they’re filming, like all the trucks, all the traffic all the people all the tents, all that kind of stuff that they have to have setup outside those houses I can I guess
I could see, especially if she’s renting. I mean, not to mention the erratic behaviors that we’re learning about. Yeah, so she actually no longer lives. 15 minutes away she lives and I may say this wrong Balboa Island is where John Janssen lives, where I believe quiet woman is and where she now lives in an apartment. So what I’m also hearing interestingly enough, it was being reported that she was going back to get her cell phone. What I’m hearing from a follower is that John Jan, I don’t know where she was at dinner. But at 1030 at night, John Janssen was spotted with a male friend, scooping out the quiet woman. So speculation now and again, I don’t know this, but speculation now is that she went to John’s house, he wasn’t there. And she actually was headed to the quiet woman, to kind of be like, Hey, how’s it going? What’s going on?
So whatever the situation is, whether she left her phone, or whether she was going to hang with John at the quiet woman, by the way, I did hear and I didn’t really get a chance to look into this. But apparently, she’s sending cease and desist to people. I don’t know how I heard Heather McDonald may have taken down some of her videos because of it. I don’t know if the story is just expired, and people are making more of that than it is what I will say is that, you know, this has been in the news. And she It has been confirmed by her attorney. So people talking about something that’s public really isn’t
cause for a cease and desist. But I could see why a content creator or comedian would just stop talking about it, because there’s so much content that why bother dealing with it. But there is that law, right? That if something is filmed in public, that that you don’t have a reasonable here I go sounding like a lawyer again, from my closet, you don’t if if something is sold in public, you can claim privacy, invasion, that kind of thing, which is why paparazzi gets away with what they get away with, you know, when people are walking down the street, that kind of thing. So if it’s any of that stuff, right? If it’s any of the like, footage that we’ve seen of her car, and that kind of stuff, I would imagine that there’s really nothing that people could do. And I would imagine if people are taking stuff down, they’re doing it more of as a courtesy, then, because they’re being legally compelled to do so.
And the details don’t really matter. You just don’t drink and drive. Regardless. It’s the entitlement for me. To begin with. She’s rich. And that’s not it doesn’t even matter that she’s rich. But in the case, in this case, I say that to say, Uber, like it isn’t. And if you can afford to Ober then guess what? You’ll get your phone in the morning. Yeah. Yeah, most responsible adults, do not drink and drive. Right? There’s even I don’t know about if in where you live, but where I live. There’s even Uber pets where you can say I have my pet with me. And, you know, it’s Uber drivers who are okay with that. So like even having far followers told me that yes, yeah. And I mean, if it’s really a 10 minute walk, then walk like it’s just could not agree more. It is no matter what, never drink and drive. I will say My heart does go out to her, not because she made terrible decisions. But because I think she needs help. Sounds like she might be getting it. Thank God, nobody was hurt. Because I mean, and then like I said, just wonder, is this a route? Is this routine for her? It does, right? Like it’s you do have to wonder that? And yes, she needs help. But I mean, we watched her judge Gina this season, and Gina got a DUI years ago, and Gina is currently sober. Also, I sort of tick tock that a follower sent me and it was a clip of Shannon saying to Kelly died back when Gina got the DUI. It’s the stupidest thing you can do in today’s day and age, what person would drink and drive verbatim? And like I said, it’s somebody who’s going through a craziness like no, nobody should but like, I just think she’s clearly in a terrible space. Again, never an excuse ever an excused, terrible decision. But this is the kicker. So what I’m hearing is that, so Tamar went on to tease in a pod, although we do now know that she is off filming traders, which we speculated about. And she said, Oh, I’m on a social media break, because she obviously wasn’t supposed to announce she’s doing a reality show. But she hopped on before her flight to Scotland to address this and she said I just spoke to Shannon on Sunday. She made no mention of it. Yeah, so I’m hearing she didn’t tell Tamra. She didn’t know I’m hearing that she was hoping her lawyer could stop this from being public. So that’s why she didn’t tell Tamra. She was livid when TMZ posted. Apparently she did tell Jeff Lewis who spoke about it once it was public.
At that time, he said that he didn’t think she was an alcoholic and that she was going to enter counseling. Now I’m hearing that due to the public backlash of people saying like counseling, how about some rehab? The word is her whoever her person that gives statements is is saying, be it her attorney, be it her PR, I don’t know, is saying she’s entering rehab. So yes, I listened to two T’s and Tamra. You could hear her voice quavering, and she was just like, I’m shook. I’m shook. She’s like, she I did talk to her. She was quiet, but she didn’t say anything anyway.
But I will tell you guys like I have always stood up for Shannon. But I have to tell you, my opinion about her has changed. Because we’ve gotten so many emails about her belligerent behavior, guessing probably drunken but belligerent behavior in public. Oh, yeah. I mean, we recently had and just to summarize a few of the emails her screaming at a pregnant woman in a suite at a Morgan Whelan concert, screaming at John’s daughter at a bar. Just write USC games. Yeah, at USC games. I mean, whether she’s a bad drunk and entitled wealthy woman who behaves badly, you know, she just operates like, the rules don’t apply to her. So it doesn’t, you know, you could be going through a hard time, but there’s no defense of this. That’s an excuse. You know, who’s really going through a tough time, the people and their loved ones who are killed by selfish drunk drivers. It’s not up for debate for me. I could be the biggest fan, it could be my best friend, I be honest, a little bit disgusted at those friends of hers who are speaking out and Oh, Shannon is going through a tough time, say less say nothing. Say No comment. You know, defending drunk driving is horrendous. And all that you can say is, I hope she gets help. And she made a really terrible despicable choice. And I really hope she seeks help and that this never happens again. I 100% couldn’t agree more. And I do want to say when I say that my heart goes out to her. That is not me saying I think there are any excuses. I think like it is 100% I just want to be very, very clear. 100% not okay, to drink and drive. I feel like she can do but I do feel badly that she is in such a bad place that she made such a bad decision, I think was more of what I was trying to say just No, totally clear. And I had no sympathy for Gina when she was drunk driving. And I commend her now on getting sober. Because I don’t, I’m not a doctor, I know this is going to shock you. I’m not a doctor. But
I know enough to know that if when you drink, your decision making process is so altered that you think it’s okay to operate a motor vehicle. You shouldn’t drink period. Yeah. Well, and building on that when you drink if you get angry, publicly multiple times, which for many eyewitnesses we have been hearing like, it just doesn’t sound like she’s a very nice person when she’s drinking, either. And I just feel like, probably a generalization, but whatever. I think people who turn me in when they drink usually have unresolved anger issues. So I’m glad she’s getting help. I agree. Yeah, I agree. But what about that episode? Okay. Yeah, let’s talk about it. So Heather was sort of ganged up on. We had been talking about this, we’ve been hearing about this, and then we see it come to light. I mean, so I’m looking at it. And we had all those emails. Heather did this and Heather did that. But it seems to me that Tamra is the one spinning this and Emily. And I don’t know if Gina and Shannon are a part of that spin or are believing the spin. But in tamaraws case, even with her friend Jen, listen, I don’t think Tamra is necessarily wrong about her judgment on Jen’s relationship with Ryan I think probably Ryan is somebody who’s cheated in the past and who isn’t the guy that you want your girlfriend dating
but why does Tamar need to bring it up every time they were at a group event or group dinner and make Jen cry? That’s her friend. Yeah, it’s it feels gross to me. It’s it reminds me of like,
middle school girl drama when somebody just keeps bringing up the same thing over and over and over again. Somebody else apologize for right like it’s like or something like it’s like why like what is the problem?
problem like, why do we can then like having Vicki bring it up? It’s like we can see through this. Like, I don’t care. I have actually really enjoyed having Tamra back on. But I’ve really not enjoyed this. Like I don’t I think you know, say what you want to say they did that back in Montana at the beginning of the season, and let it go. Like, I feel badly for Jen at this point. I feel badly for Jen. I think that Heather is who she is. And so it’s like they got together and we’re like, Oh, good. Let’s take her down. Let’s make her the condescending snob. And I think by doing that they’re twisting her words they’re exaggerating her words or perhaps she did say these things but I can’t really tell if because Gina at the start of the season was saying to Heather, I don’t trust Tamra and Heather was like, Well, you know, I have no reason not to like we are on good terms. But that’s the first person that gene is going to believe Tamra over Heather.

tamaraws facial expressions even last night at the dinner where like she was looking at like Gina and and Emily and Shannon almost as if to say like, okay, we’re all on the same page now right? No one’s gonna flip on me. Because everything Tamar was saying Heather does Tamra is guilty of doing. I mean she’s the master of behind the back and throwing a bomb and watching it explode. Fair enough. Okay, so whatever. I just I’m gonna be honest, I was happy when the season first came out. I thought it was mostly entertaining. I think this whole Shannon debacle has cast a shadow on it. I’m definitely want to watch the next episode because it looks like both Heather and Tamra have had time to kind of like rally their troops and it looks like they’re kind of fighting out to see who’s going to win the season and who’s going to be the one that leaves crying with no friends and I think we know it’s going to be Heather that’s kind of the vibe I get but I don’t I don’t know if I need to see these women anymore. Jen the new one nice girl. Not super interesting. Yeah. Shannon needs a break. Yeah, Vicki seems to be doing really great. I’ve never been the biggest biggest Vicki fan she seems like a more level headed version of herself. I don’t think she needs to come back on Go live your life enjoy your grandkids enjoy your new relationship enjoy your you know by coastal whatever you call it living live your life. And Emily and Gina. Emily’s trying too hard this season. Gina? I’m just OC can go. It’s funny. You say that? Because when I was watching and then I was watching the end and they’re like on the season finale. I was like, No, it’s over. Like I wasn’t ready. I’m not ready for it to be done. Like I’m still. Yes, some of the stuff going on in Mexico has been annoying, but I have I don’t know I’ve been liking it. I actually know what I really also don’t like and I spoke about this before. I don’t like in both Shannon and Jen’s case. These successful, beautiful mother’s career women dealing with these half assed relations.
ships have committed men yeah and then like fighting with their girlfriends whilst while sleeping with the enemy it just the whole thing I’m just over the vibe I’m with you on that for sure I am with you on this like why are we accepting anything less than the very best especially in a Chapter Two for them both right like when they are both have resources and freedom and for them to be accepting anything less than the very best to me is not that is not aspirational to me and I agree and then like turning it on and pointing fingers at all the other women I don’t like that. I don’t know I just I don’t know I’ve I’ve enjoyed having OC kind of feel like it’s back and I really liked Emily a lot this season loved her on Watch What Happens Live
like a couple of weeks ago it’s I really liked seeing Tamra come back on so I don’t agree with you. I think I don’t I don’t want to see it totally go. I do feel like this next episode or last episode looks like it’s going to be a great one. It does. I am looking forward to that. I do I think you’re right. I think it would be nice for there to be a little bit of a break but I would like to see it. I’d like to see it come back. Alexis Bellino releases a statement to TMZ after it was reported Shannon Vador was bitching about her prior to DUI arrest. She said, when my girlfriends and I arrived for a fun night out together. It was soon brought to my attention that Shannon was also at the same restaurant. Shannon and I did not interact that night. But it greatly saddens me to learn that she may harbor negative feelings or resentment towards me, as I was not involved in Jimbo Leno’s lawsuit again, Shannon, from one single mother to another. I wish and nothing but the best as I know she is facing trying times ahead.

I think she’s a different person than she was when she was married to Jim and sort of suffocated by that situation. I think that we saw a different tailor. And I noticed I didn’t even really mentioned Taylor much. I don’t Taylor was good. I thought she was fine. I thought
she was fun. I thought she was pretty fair. So I certainly would keep her I don’t know that she needs to be full time. Yeah. Agreed. I think that her and Alexis and Heather and Tamra I think we can go somewhere with them. I think that people would like Emily back. I have I have very mixed feelings about Emily because I like her like I think she’s cool. I think I’d like her in real life. I think she pushes a little too hard for storylines and to make things happen. So it doesn’t always feel organic to me, and that annoys me. Yeah. Yeah, I share that sentiment about her but overall like her. I honestly don’t feel like I need to see Heather dobro anymore. She just got on my bad side this year with the just bleeding. Money snobbery bragging I’m I think I’m kind of done with her.

Want to talk quickly about traitors? Since there’s been so much chatter about it? God help us to call it when we were talking to MJ.
Invaders or, yeah, like, you were like, she was like, I was like you would be good on that she was she’s like, what’s yours? She was so sweet about it. I was like, Oh, I mean trader. Well, what’s interesting is, so what I’m hearing is that okay, first of all, this whole casting has been totally chaotic. The announcement, we had only confirmed for Shell and Johnny bananas, both from MTV. We confirm them a long time ago. And then we had a bunch of rumored people. And both my sources kept going back and I was like, You know what, I’m not even posting this because it’s like, too much back and forth. Then we heard Lindsey Hubbard is going. So this is pretty interesting guys. She actually was approached a while back. She said no, because this weekend would be her bachelorette. I found out yesterday, she actually is in the Bahamas on what would have been her bachelorette. The reason people thought it is because maybe she was enroute to the airport, but she was going with her friends not from TV. And I just saw in Danielle’s story, she had a suitcase and the tag these followers are like you cocktail are the best spidered and it said NAS, like on the you know, the printed luggage tag. Yeah. So I which is Bahamas. And then somebody said that Gabby was flying over in her story is crystal blue waters. So I guess some of the girls are joining her. So Sex in the City. So Carrie Bradshaw, I hope that Lindsay and Danielle and Gabby and her friends do tic TOCs and pose videos. You know what I really hope. I hope there’s a freaking camera with them. And we get this could you imagine if unbeknownst to us, and I’ll be I’ll be pretty pissed. I didn’t Scoop it. But I could always do what Heather McDonald does and say I predicted it. If we freaking get like before summerhouse even airs, or after whatever between it the season and the reunion. If we get footage of them on the bachelorette party, do it and pay Lindsay guys like We’ll watch it, it will get watched. I’m a little surprised that we haven’t seen any like brand deals. Maybe they’re coming. I don’t know. I think she really was blindsided. But I was excited for traders because you know CTE is going to be there. Now. Did you ever watch the challenge Amanda, like a long time ago, but I do remember him. So I haven’t watched it in years either. But he was just so hot. That hot Boston accent the body, those beautiful blue eyes. And I just thought they would like be like beautiful chaos because he’s a wild guy. Somebody else said no, she’d be much better with Johnny bananas because he’s from Florida. And he’s also very into working out. I’m not a big bananas fan. So yeah, hoping for CT but we’re not going to see any of it because she’s not going. Well. We mentioned MJ we know MJ is there. We know Tamra is there. We also heard Larsa is there and that she also posted that she’s in Scotland. Well, so here’s the funny thing. I had heard Lars his name and for some reason, the same way when I heard candies name, which candy is not there? I didn’t believe it. It just didn’t seem like something Larsa would do because she’s so attached at the hip with the boyfriend. But he’s with her.
Okay, he refers to him as a traitor and the others not? Well, okay, so that’s gonna be really cool to see the dynamic of traders with a couple. But like, here’s the thing. So, on the one hand, I’m very excited to see what Marcus Jordan is like, because we don’t know him at all. We only know that he’s Michael Jordan’s son. I think I shared I forget if it was on cocktail, or here when I was in the Bahamas, there’s this private island and you know, I was on like a boat tour, actually was going to swim with the pigs, which is a whole other I’m not really one about swimming with animals. Nevermind pigs, but that’s another story.
To poop in the water. I’ve always wondered that. So full disclosure, I didn’t actually swim with them. What I did was I sat on the rocks and filmed my kids and my husband swim with them. But joke was on me because when they paraded the pigs out. They all like walked over to me first and like rubbed up against me and I’m a little bit I’m not like afraid of like, you know, dogs and cats and stuff. But like, I’m a city girl, Amanda pigs. I’ve never been around wild pigs like it’s a little much. I’m sure they’re lovely. I mean, my kids are animal lovers. God bless. I have a lizard. My son has a lizard, but like wild pigs, and this huge hog was standing next to me and I didn’t know and then he like, rubbed up against me and was just like, oh my God anyway, but when I was on this on the way to that swim with the pigs, there were this private island.
All famous people had houses. One was Scotty Pippins house. There was another house and then that house next to that so one house away was Michael Jordan’s house.
So like these families know each other come on. Yeah. I’m just interested to see what he’s like, like, his name on Instagram is the air or something like H e ir, like the heir to the Jordan fortune, which he certainly is. But like, clearly he doesn’t financially need the show. So is he just whipped on Larsa? And she told him to come? Is he just thirsty? I’m interested to see what his personality is like.
That is such a I got I mean, if you’re gonna be an air, like, at least call yourself a philanthropist. I mean, that’s what most people do, even if they’re just, it’s just sound so arrogant. I don’t know. We’ll see. Okay, I’m dying to talk to you about Salt Lake City because it was one of those words like watching it before bed and then like, I’m just laughing so hard. I couldn’t like I didn’t fall asleep for once watching any of the shows because it was so funny. Mary’s one liners were so onpoint she is the most unintentionally, I think, unintentionally funny person, I think ever seen on a housewives show. Here’s my thing. Is she trying or not? Because I have followers who are like she’s trying so hard and I honestly don’t get that vibe.
And I feel like I more often assume that someone is a trihard on these shows. isn’t like with Bryn on New York. Although I love her. There are moments where I’m like, trying too hard, but I feel like she’s probably like that in real life. Yeah, she acts like there’s a camera. Yeah, I think she commits like Sonia always tried hard in my opinion, but it worked. But Mary to me, she’s so rude. She’s so serene, like, Okay, I want to do I want to do a dramatic reading of some of my favorite Mary lines from this last episode. Okay, so in the confessional when asked about end showing up to Palm Springs uninvited. straight face she said who was Angie?
When asked to join the girls by the pool for lunch. I am not coming over there. Please stop talking to me like that. I don’t like it.

confronted, they just act like they look at each other. It’s like the one thing they can all agree on. It’s like, it’s like a toddler says, fuck yes. Like, don’t encourage them. Encourage them. What about when they’re like named something about? Tell us something about you that would shock us. Like, everybody thinks I’m always out that I’m a socialite, and then you know, production wins every time production flashes to her sitting by herself in every scene. And sitting in her house by herself and doing everything by herself. And they all just look at each other and laugh and she doesn’t even notice. I know. I know. It’s like, I’m really a loner, but everyone thinks I’m so no one thinks your social. I know, it was so funny. And then Meredith, who turns like, I swear to God, after she drinks cosplays a slurring British society, woman with that accent.
It sent me on this one, because she’s, you know, and then like, at one point, like, so, Merritt is going over and talking to security and saying, this lady, this woman was not invited. First of all, that was the waiter. It was. Yeah, it wasn’t security. It was a security. She’s like, I learned so heavily. I can’t do a British accent very well. But then Heather says, Meredith left within an English accent.
Like the who’s been those?
I was, oh, it was, and then you can leave, you can leave.
But wait, here’s what I want to say. Okay. And I thought of you when Meredith who was way over served, which was hysterical for thinking of me. Right had to beef with Angie, because sometimes when I say
there, you call it using a placeholder. Right? Right. So Meredith, use this placeholder, saying, I You said you never wanted to be my friend. And obviously that was from the reunion which we all saw what, okay, what did Angie do to Meredith? Why was she so angry and slurring and saying there are more important things? And and what the hell was she saying about there are children who will be disabled the rest of their lives? Uh huh. Why? Did something happen in her family did something I don’t mean with her own children? Like, is there something we’re missing? I mean, they all all the woman called her out. So like she always does. She always says, I’m going through something way worse than what’s going on here.
Which she does. And you know, so you think she could just have a simple beef with Angie like trying to be icing her like, in other words, she’s icing Angie out of the show or a bigger beat. I think there’s a bigger beef. I think you’re 100%. Right. This is a placeholder, even Meredith agreed on Watch What Happens Live. I was watching that. And Andy brought up the whole bathtub thing. And she’s like, Yeah, it’s about something else. Right? She even admitted it. There’s clearly something else happened, guys. So you know, those of you we know, we know we there’s a lot of you in Salt Lake City, if any of you want to share what really happened with Angie and Meredith, because something clearly did. Yes. And I think you know, what I find very interesting. So here’s something I find interesting, which I don’t. I’m gonna be honest. I don’t. I didn’t really like Angie that I didn’t. I don’t dislike Angie, she just doesn’t like, she doesn’t jump off the page for me, right. Yeah. But I thought it was very interesting that Heather, I know they went to high school together. But the fact that Heather and her were sort of friendly, and then kind of frenemies all these years and both owned businesses, that are beauty businesses right in Salt Lake City, and are both Salt Lake City natives. Obviously, their cultural differences when they were kids could preclude a close friendship because we know that Heather was so in the Mormon church. And it seems like Angie was so in the Greek Orthodox Church, that they that may have precluded a close friendship, but it was more than that. Because Heather does not trust her, which I liked. The other ladies pointed out, we have every reason not to trust you, because you also went hard for Jen. But it’s very interesting to me that that dynamic goes so far back. Well, Angie said we were not friends in high school. And then Heather said that they were right. And in my mind, I’m like, okay, but I could see where
somebody who is part of the Mormon community and doesn’t even realize because that is the majority there doesn’t even realize that there is an exclusion of people who are not in the Mormon community. And just thinks like, well, we’re all like looks back at revision as kind.
History is like, but we are all friends versus Angie, who is probably in the minority and is like, No, we were not friends, I was wild, and all this other stuff too. So I can see where that something like that would happen, but something else has happened to make them so mortally pissed off at each other, they clearly don’t like each other. Well, to that point, I will tell you that I don’t know what the Greek population is like in Salt Lake City I have obviously they’re minorities in comparison to the Mormon. But I can tell you based on what I know, from my own experience growing up, because I do have a Greek community in my neighborhood, the Greek community is a very tight knit community. There is a Greek Orthodox Church, right? So that in and of itself, your religion is also your nationality. Right? So your culture so and they I know from my friends that are Greek, and this isn’t to say that they don’t have of course they have non Greek friends. I don’t mean it like that. I just mean that there is a even in other words, I don’t believe and because she’s so attached to her Greek roots. I don’t believe she was the only Greek family there. So in other words, there must be a community of Greek people in Salt Lake City, I’ll be small. But there’s there’s more to it than just a Mormon. You’re a Greek because as I said, as adults, if you didn’t have some beef, well, gee, you own a bunch of salons. I own an injection, whatever spa let’s promote each other. Let’s do pop ups. Let’s do all of these things. And to that point, perhaps Angie’s beef with Heather is that her salons were much more popular. Heather got on the show, she opened a couple more locations, her business popped. And so Angie’s jealousy stems from Heather’s newer business becoming so popular, and her wanting her business which is locally obviously successful. Her wanting that her wanting the buzz that Heather got seemingly overnight, so it could be that piece of Heather. Heather has something against her. I think something else has happened. Behind the scenes. I think there’s some maybe maybe early on. Again, I’m just making this up. But maybe early on when Heather was starting out she called Angie her old high school buddy and was like Hey, what about if like I came over and we did like a drinks and whatever at your at Fringe, lunatic fringe? And Andrew was like, oh, no, I have an injector. Oh, no, I work with so and so on that and that’s sort of where it was. And then so when Heather got on the show, it was like haha, I’m on the show. My business is getting all this recognition. Good luck to you. Yeah, I can see that. Yeah. or have there been like, Hey, I you know, would you be willing to give me some advice? And if Andrew said no, like, I can see how other would be like, fuck you. I could also see Angie, blowing her off. And then once Heather got on the show calling Heather up to be like, Hey, why don’t you come on and have it been like don’t need you now. Huh? Yeah, I could tell. But what I will say is a follower of mine does go to one of Angie salons and she sent me like a text exchange between her and her stylist. And she was kind of like, which Angie issue because the woman I know from the salon is kind and generous and friendly and knows all of her customers names and she’s got a lot of customers and the stylist was like Angie is absolutely fantastic. I don’t know this to be the case. But I’m assuming that the network wants her to put on this drama and put this on but this is not who she is. Her and her husband are both lovely people. So yeah, for what it’s worth. Yeah. All right before we go off of Salt Lake City, I thought it’d be fun for us to play a quick game on would you do this or would you not do this? Okay, okay. Would you drink five espresso martinis in one night? Absolutely. I don’t even like espresso martinis, but I would drink five of anything in one night so if that’s what was being drank Yes. Oh my god, I would be on the floor if I had five martinis if I had two martinis I really Meredith or Heather, but I would be I would do five glasses of wine. I could do but five martinis. Well, I might not make it through all five but i would give it the good old college try.
Another thing if I were listen, you like me and like a lot of killers listening. I
have very few opportunities to be away with my girlfriends. Yeah. So when that happens, I’m all in. Yeah, you got to push the boat out a little. I totally agree. But five martinis I would be like in the hospital. That is so many martinis, like five glasses of wine. No big deal. I don’t know. It’s the Martini.
I think would you show Okay, I’m sorry, but I have to interrupt your espresso. So here’s the thing. I don’t really like espresso martinis. I don’t like mixing. I don’t like chocolate martinis. Like, if I’m drinking, I’m drinking. If I’m eating, I’m eating. If I’m having coffee, I’m having coffee. I can go for a hot toddy on a cold winter night. Yeah, but that’s like a rarity for me. Like, I don’t do espresso martinis. If I’m out having a martini. I then moved to my wine and there’s no coffee for me. I hear you. I don’t do I love I actually really love an Espresso Martini. It just has to be like, the perfect alignment of universes where I would have one because I don’t drink caffeine after like lunch because it will keep me up all night. And so if I’m gonna have one, it’s at the beginning of the night, and it’s going to be a night and that’s the only time I really have one or if they do if they do like a decaf like because I do I like I think I like the taste of them. So you let do it to get yourself started. Like if you’re fired from work and you’re doing a girls didn’t know your bar, you’ll have the Espresso Martini to pick yourself up and then you’ll move to wine. Then I moved to wine or that I would move to like, you know, constantly gin and gin and tonic or you know, like one of my normals and that because I love I do love a regular vodka martini extra. I always call it filthy like with
a favorite love question. Have you ever had slow gin? Yes. So a follower I was doing, like, a question box about drunken stories. And a follower was like, oh my god, I had a wild night I had slow gin and they’ll say S O S, l o w and all my followers are like, no, it’s S O E, and it’s a fermented fruit or something. Yeah, yeah. And that’s you usually make it in like a mixture. It’s usually in like a slow Gin Fizz or something like that. It’s like a moral old fashion kind of drink. But yeah, I love a gin and tonic. Okay. Another question. Would you show up on a girls trip uninvited?
Now, and I’ll tell you why. I am a person who has a lot of friends. And I would never need to show up anywhere uninvited.
And if for some reason there was a group of people and the person heading up the trip didn’t invite me. I would have no interest in going because I have enough friends that I’m not saying that to be like, I’m the most popular person but I’m a 40 year old woman. I know who I am. I know what I’m about. And if you don’t want me there, noted, I’m good. Yep. Same. Same. Same, same same. Okay. Would you wear the outfit that Meredith picked out for Lisa, would you wear that outfit in public?
I mean, if I was drunk on a girls trip, I wouldn’t be opposed to it. If I were in like Palm Desert. I wouldn’t love it, but I’d wear it. I would totally actually do that game where like the other person picks up out.
Girls trap like go get crazy hats or like, really, like find the fugly as T shirts? Like I mean, I’m not trolling for men. I’m married. I’m with my girlfriends. We’re just having fun. So if I look stupid in a town that nobody knows me, what difference does it make? What I do it on camera? No, but I wouldn’t do anything on camera. I’m anonymous. Remember? Exactly. Would you play the warm, fuzzy, cold prickly game on a girls trip? Or dinner? No, absolutely not. Yeah, again, I wouldn’t be on a trip with people I didn’t like to I would make a terrible housewife. Yeah. And like just that’s just asking for it. Which is exactly why wouldn’t you brought it up. Okay. Last Last before we move on. Would you wear a $60,000? Ring? 100%. Yeah. I mean, if I could afford it, and I mean, if I could afford it, it would be insured. And also, I mean, I have a very nice engagement ring and I am a jewelry person and my good jewelry is insured. I think Lisa Barlow is totally over the top. I think she’s a very self involved person. With that said if I lost my diamond, if I lost the diamond ring, I’d be upset about it and talking about it, too. Yeah, I would too. Perfect. So we have not seen tonight’s episode yet. I don’t know be where do you want to start? Where do I want to start? I thought it was fantastic. The chef Austin Craig thing, you know, well, first of all, I love Craig. I think Craig has grown up and he listen, he’s a great reality character. He has his faults, clearly we all do. But okay, first, I have to say, and you know, I have made up with Austin.
When he was in that suit shop, and when he looks at the picture of that 1940s male actor, gorgeous Paul Newman looking guy and says, That guy looks like me. I about fell out of my bed. Like I about fell out of bed. I was like.
Now, I will tell you that every follower who has met Austin says he’s very good looking in person. He’s very tall. I don’t doubt it. I’m sure. He’s a guy that if you’re single, and you’re out and he’s flirting with you, he’s attractive. Yeah. With that said, he looked nothing like that guy.
A young Paul Newman, he is not or young, whoever that guy was. And it just, it’s like, it’s incredible. Like to look at him and just see the confidence, like good for him. But it would be like me looking at a picture of like Jennifer Lopez because she has dark hair and being like, Amanda, tell me the truth. Do you see it? Like,
what?
I don’t know. He’s just, you know,
there is something very endearing about that, too, is Yeah, it really is. And even when he was standing at Madison’s party, and he was going like, under his breath, like, like, what does he have that I don’t have? Like? Like, I don’t know, maybe he didn’t cheat on her that we know of? Maybe he didn’t have whatever all the things you’ve done like. Yeah, yeah. And maybe like he doesn’t like get belligerently drunk and you know, like that. There’s, there’s gotta be some appeal in somebody who has like, Forget Madison’s new Brett Brent. Brett bright, bright, but he seems to have a very calm, like aura and presence to which you know, you can’t have to like, big purse. I don’t believe you can have two big crazy personalities in one relationship. I don’t think it works. Yeah, Madison and Austin. Are that? Yes. And I do think I do think there’s a genuine affection between the two of them. I felt awkward for Madison’s husband. I felt like a lot of that was very awkward for him. But you marry the reality television person. You got to deal with it. And he did. Shep and Taylor was super awkward. I found it really odd that she was yelling at Craig when she was standing right there and she could have yelled at him. I get she was mad. About Craig supposedly laughing. I felt really embarrassed for her. When she said that thing about Paige. She even said it weekly. Like your girl cheated. Like, yeah, I mean, he walked away. I don’t believe Paige cheated on. I think she kind of laughed it off on social media.
I just I felt sorry for Taylor. Honestly, I felt embarrassed for her. But then I kind of remember that. Like, she hooked up with Austin who I get it. It’s not like him and Olivia were the most serious. But if that’s your best friend, your sister as she called her, don’t make out with him.
So I have I have a perspective on the whole Taylor thing. Because I agree with you. I think she acted totally inappropriately, and like I was embarrassed for her. But I think, you know, first of all, this is the first time she’s gonna see sharp. She was clearly very, very hurt and very saddened and upset by the breakup, right. And I think she was feeling like crag, I thought you were my friend too. And this is the first time she also saw Craig and was pissed that he knew he seemingly knew more about chips cheating than she realized. And she’s like, Wait, I thought you were my friend too. And you are not a good friend to me. And I get that because it’s also like,
if you’ve ever, you know, people who have ever been cheated on, they’re like, How can anybody be okay with this? This is such you know, it’s terrible, right? And so she’s like, How can anybody be on on Shep’s side? He cheated. And I get that because it’s like so black and white if you’re the one who has been cheated on like, right and she’s she’s a hurt person, right. So Craig was very audit
Just and he said, and she’s like you haven’t called and you haven’t, whatever. And listen, Craig, I’m not saying I’m not saying Craig is right. But what I’m saying is Craig was not confusing. He wasn’t calling Taylor up to see how she was doing and then going behind her back and laughing. What he said to her was, I didn’t call you. You’re a nice person. When you were with chef who is my friend, we had fun together, my loyalty lies with Chef. That’s why I didn’t reach out to you. Yeah, I am not laughing about the fact that he cheated on you. I gave him an earful about it. I’m the one who pushed him away from the girl. But at the end of the day, I know who Shep is. And not for anything. Taylor had a very good idea who she was to. And I’m sorry that you’re hurt. And I’m sorry that he did this to you. But I’m not the one who did it to you and find his friend, not your friend. And he was honest. And you know what, I think is hard. Because I think when you’re hanging out in a group, and you’re dating for a couple of years, as they were she probably truly considered Craig to be her friend. Yeah. Clearly when that relationship dissolved, credit and feel the same. And you know, What, did Austin really feel the same? Or was Austin out to get some because they ended up hooking up? So if Austin didn’t have any romantic or sexual interest in Taylor, would he have felt sorry for her? And would he have been there for her? I’m gonna go with no, I think Austin just has a harder time. Like, seeing boundaries and lines. Were you know what I mean? Like, I think we’re Craig. I think Craig actually can’t like I was gonna say I, I can see where Taylor’s coming from. But I also can see where Craig’s Craig’s like Shep was my friend. First, my loyalty lies with him, I think Craig actually handled it about as well as he could have. Because it would have been weird if he were like, calling Taylor and like getting involved. Like in situations like that you kind of have to go with the person where your loyalty lies. And like, it is sad, because I think they probably were legitimately friends when she and shepherd dating. But that’s when you have to cut bait and realize that you are not going to carry away all the friends from the relationship, even if the other party was clearly the one who fucked everything up by cheating. So I and I do think it’s different than Sandoval. I’m just saying this as an example, because a lot of those friends truly were mutual, because they all started the show together. And it’s been a decade, whereas these guys have been friends for a decade. And Taylor has been around a couple years now. It does not make anything right. And she has every right to be upset with Craig not reaching out to her, and to not want to see him or hanging out with him because of that. But Craig also has a right to say my loyalty lies with my friend. Listen, I have friends from when I’m a young kid, right? There have been situations where my friends were dating a guy for a couple years and they broke up. I didn’t stay friends with their boyfriend. It’s not that I dislike him. Could have been a great guy. But my loyalty lies with my friends. And that it is what it is. Now. We’ve all been married for years. And there are children and it’s like family units. I think that changes dynamics. But when it was just people dating, and then breaking up, my loyalty lies with my friend. Sorry. Yeah. Yeah. I mean, I think everyone probably listening has been through a similar situation. Okay, so All right. When we’re watching, I was watching. I was trying to figure out this in like when this after wedding party took place, because in my head, I’m thinking like, okay, it’s clearly cold. Somebody said, how was your Christmas? So it’s got to be, you know, after Christmas, probably January, because we know that’s when they started filming. Because in my head, I’m also like, I remember when we were getting all that tea about is Shep coming back. He’s still traveling. So I wanted to kind of go back and try to trace footsteps because what we still don’t have is when exactly this, Austin and Taylor hookup happened, we do have info that Taylor and Shab even though they were supposedly broken up, we’re still hanging out, both before he left for his trip. So both before like in October. We had somebody write in say I saw them because saying a concert. We also had some from after. So I’m still trying to figure out like when this whole Austin and Taylor thing happened. So back in January of 2023. So this year, on the January 18 pod, we shared a theory on the show saying that we were thinking the show and the producers are probably going to make this Austin and Taylor friendship more of a storyline. Yes, once again, our prediction came true. And let me just say that I do think it’s possible for production to push something and then for it to actually happen. Oh, yeah. Because clearly they’re both friends attractive. Single. It happened. Totally
Hey, let’s see where it looks like looking back at old posts, it wasn’t until March 11 that we shared on cocktail party, that Taylor and Austin hooked up. That doesn’t mean it was like, right immediately, but that’s when we heard about it. And also we posted should I share that or not since we had this on cocktail party? Yeah. Okay, that she also hooked up with Whitney. So when people see it, they know that we said it. And we got it because it hasn’t been shown in previews yet, but I’m sure we’ll see that. Yes. And then we know that production really went in on the whole Taylor drama and they kind of went after her is what I’m hearing Olivia and her are basically fighting a lot of the season once Olivia finds out. And you know, the feedback from fans of the show is mixed, because many fans feel like well, it’s not like Austin and Olivia were so serious. I disagree. Because I think that when you’re very good friends, like it’d be different if Austin and Taylor fell in love, and they were still together and they were engaged. And like, I don’t know, it’s almost like
it really meant something. It just seems like it was a convenient Right Place Right Time and they were thoughtless about it. And I think that’s what hurt would hurt if you’re in Olivia shoes, right? Yeah, it was thoughtless and like thoughtless. I think Taylor did it to make shet mad. Hmm. Which you can sympathize with her in that and like, sadly, Olivia was collateral damage. Yeah, but not caring about Olivia being the collateral damage selfish. Yeah. Like, it’s kind of ironic. She expected her platonic friend Craig to back her but she’s not even backing her best girlfriend. Right. So
you know, Southern charm is so messy. And they all hook up. I also thought it was funny that Craig’s like trying to somehow work Paige into this and they’re all like, she doesn’t even like us.
Last night, he was like, well, she’s open to hanging out and they were kind of like, that’s fine. Whatever. Set it up. Tell production. We’ll meet her at halls. Chophouse. We’ll have a martini, whatever. Yeah, exactly. I really like Olivia. You know, we just met her last season. And I think I didn’t know what to think of her. But like, she’s really grown on me. I think she’s got a very spunky, funny way about her. I think it’s incredibly sad. We’re gonna see her lose her brother this season. Yeah. And very sadly, I don’t know if this was still during filming. But Taylor also lost her brother this year, which is just extremely tragic and sad that they both lost their young brothers. I mean, they were in their, I don’t know, their ages, I guess, early 30s or late 20s or whatever. Young people obviously not elderly people. And I think they’ve mended tolerant. And Olivia, I’m sure there’s always going to be a little bit of a rift there. I mean, I would imagine after going through what they both gone through that it’s water under the bridge and that they are there for each other I would think because I mean, I cannot imagine going through something so horrific, so horrific. So that’s got to be a trauma bond, you know, but I’m excited for southern charm I and it’s so many cocktails and followers. They write me they’re like, should I start from the beginning? I think we said like It’s so chaotic. It’s a great show. It isn’t. You don’t it’s easy to follow. It’s it’s just good.
Yeah, and then like, Charlson is the background, guys, if you’re ever looking for just a fun, like non beach trip, or you can do beach too, you can go to IOP I love homes, which is where Shetlands you but like just to do a cute little weekend trip there the food there is so good. There’s like very interesting history. It’s it’s an amazing city. So like seeing that as the background it is it really is like such an amazing it’s just gorgeous. They’re gorgeous.
