And as expected, New Jersey is top of the list to discuss this week, and we untangle the hairdresser drama and talk about how charity events work. Amanda finds some interesting data about Jen Aydin’s charitable history. LVP is going to be back on our Bravo screens. With Kenya out on Real Housewives of Atlanta, who is going to take her place? Could the timing of Peter Thomas’s tax announcement be a coincidence? And a theory about Gina from RHOC that we put together with Cocktailers on our last Zoom. How are you feeling? Because I have a feeling we’re both feeling it about the same today.
I’m so tired. So here’s the problem, it’s not even you have a couple glasses of wine and it just interrupts your sleep. Yeah,
I’m too old.
I didn’t even have wine. I had high noons. Oh no, but I stayed up too late, and I just had a couple but I stayed up too late, it kept me up. You know, when you’re, like, stimulated, yeah, and that I had to get up early. I had a million things to do today. So yeah, yeah, here.
I know the feeling, yes. I we had some friends over for dinner last night and drank quite a bit of rose. And I love the rose, but yeah, what kind of
Rose? Because people love your bougie wine recommendation, I
go pretty basic B on my rose. I like the Miraval. I like the whispering angel. I like the Miraval a little bit better. Actually. Miraval has a studio, like a more like a little less expensive one. It’s called Miraval studio. That one is actually quite good. And then there’s one I like called trienn, because I’m not a big sweet. I don’t like a real sweet. Is
Miraval pricey? Is it more than whispering Angel?
They’re both about the same price. I think they’re both about 20 to $21
there’s one that’s good, that’s I like whispering angel. I like Miraval. There’s one that is good that I can’t, I want to say coat de roses, but I feel like that’s a
perfume, no coats or roses. It is. And it’s got like a little rose, kind of, yeah, bottles, really cute in the bottle, in the bottom of the bottle, it’s got like, a little rose that one, I think that one for me is little on the sweet side. I like, Yeah, I know what you mean. Cool Marka anymore, Prosecco, because it’s gotten too sweet to me. And so I think maybe my palette has changed. I don’t know that. Those are it
happens with wine. I go in and out like I was big on the Pinot Grigio, and then I got sick of it, and I went to Savion Blanc, and now I’m sick of it, and I’m back to Pinot. So I feel like you go back and forth, yeah, but I love this brand. It’s nine night, or it was 999 at my local place. It’s called Astoria Prosecco. It’s not too sweet, the one in the bottle with the really pretty facets, yeah, it’s gone. It doesn’t it’s not sold in my local place anymore. I need to figure it out, find
it either actually. I am, yeah, thoroughly. It’s
like the it’s got a pretty script, Crystal, no, oh, okay, no, it, but it is. The bottle has a Prosecco in this pretty script. It’s white. I’m looking for it now. I’m 988 Okay, and then I see it 1599, but my place used to have it for 999, and it was just so good. I like it better than lamarcka. Do you know I like 90 persecco? Is it like 90 degree or I
haven’t tried that 1am? I not one down? Yeah, because I that’s the other thing to I think we talked about the loan. Did we talk about the Lone Ranger, the drink that we’ve been making this summer? It’s got, you did tell me, yeah, yeah. So like, a little bit less of a sweet actually, you can go either way with that one, because you just put a little less simple syrup in there if you have a sweeter Prosecco. But anyway, okay, I feel like we probably all needed a glass of wine after watching Jersey this week. I Yeah, you know it’s, I love it when you do the like recap posts and remind everybody of the fact that we had so much information about this whole situation last year.
I can’t even take credit for that, because you guys, listeners and followers and cocktails are the ones who message me, and they’re like, B, can you repost? Because I feel like we read exactly what we’re watching. So I went back to around when it was filming, and sure enough, everything was there. Yeah, it was, I’m down to the fact that they were supposed to go out to dinner and they didn’t, because we later found out that Jen and Danielle were suspended. But when I got that email, because the person who worked at the restaurant was like, they’re filming here tonight or tomorrow night. Yeah, then that party happened, the altercation happened. She’s, I don’t know what went down, but apparently there was a fight and they’re not filming. And the person speculated, based on what she pieced together, that it was Jen and Danielle, and it turned out being Jen and Danielle. So we had it ahead of time. It was crazy. Looking back on them. I was like, Oh my God. And then somebody’s This isn’t new tea. I was like, No, it’s not new it’s just the intel that we’re seeing, and some of it is coming up. And
we like to remind everybody that they need this a year ago, because sometimes we have to remind ourselves.
All the time. We have to remind ourselves, okay, the same thing happened with summer house. We said a month ago that Danielle will not be back. Yeah, and she made her big, grand announcement, which, for everybody asking Bravo, allows their cast members to make the statement they choose to make meaning. If I wasn’t asked back to a show, I can say I decided not to come back, and they let me ride with that. So that is what happened there, guys. And her whole alluding to, I can’t be in it full time, yeah, she’s a long time cast member. We’re gonna see her pop up the same way we see Andrea pop up. Yeah, she’ll be there a weekend, and guess what, if she brings some crazy juice, it could it could be like, All right, come back next week. And again, those things do happen,
yeah, for sure. Okay, so back to Jersey. So Danielle and Jen have this crazy party, or a crazy fight ends in a physical altercation, Jen really started going in on Danielle, so I’m actually really interested for us to talk about this whole situation, my understanding of what happened is Danielle has a hair extension person who also works with Dolores. The hair extension person asked Jen Aidan if she would do a shoot promoting her hair stuff, and Danielle gave Jen a call to say, Hey, I just want you to know I’m glad you’re doing this, but I want you to know you’re not there’s not going to be pay for this. And just want to give you a heads up about that, just to make sure that you don’t accidentally ruffle any feathers of your own hair people by promoting somebody else,
right? And ultimately, Danielle also said, and you were like, oh, so Jem was under the impression she was going to go to a masterclass and be the model for it, and maybe get free hair extensions. And Danielle was like, bro, yes, you are getting free hair extensions, but you will be on her social media, on her website, so you will be promoting her. It is unpaid, so if that’s something you think would upset your hair girl, then I don’t want to mislead you. And Jen ultimately did not do the photo shoot because she was like, Oh, that’s not what I thought I was signing up for. Okay. Thanks for the heads up. And then flipped it
yes, because then she flips it to be like, Danielle, you called me, and that is not being a good friend to your hair person. This whole thing was about, it’s just like I was that was quite the flip.
And listen, Jen was looking for an argument, because, had she done it, the argument would have been and how dare you mislead me and lead me to believe it was. Just a free hair extension masterclass, when, in fact, now I’m all over her social and so she was gonna fight with her. Danielle is in a lose situation, because what we said last week remains true, that the real beef it’s not just Jen’s beef, it’s also Teresa’s beef, but Jen is the mouthpiece for this, as always, and the beef is they did her charity event with the unspoken understanding that she would rock with them, she would be a soldier, she would team up against FUDA. She is not doing that, and so now they have turned on her. It was a reach, regardless. The same way her trying to discredit her charity event, Jen trying to discredit Danielle’s charity event was a reach.
By the way, the look of boredom on Teresa’s face during this whole conversation, she looked like she was, like, maybe working on a grocery list in her head, she probably was, she probably was ingredients. So
I know a lot of people understand how charities and corporate events and all of these things work, but a follower broke it down in a DM that I thought was helpful. So they said, I do this as a live for a living. The event has a budget. You have to pay for the venue and vendors. The entire event is not free. There are in kind vendors, but you still have expenses. The expectation that she wouldn’t pay them is ludicrous. Additionally, the thought that the names would just be added to the step and repeat, simply for an appearance. Is also ridiculous. Businesses pay to have their name on the step and repeat, and it’s usually part of a sponsorship package. If aid in plastic surgery wanted that spotlight, they should have agreed to an in kind package or paid Jennifer’s assumptions are uneducated, unwarranted and, quite frankly, stupid. I’m not sure that she’s ever gotten something that valuable for simply showing up. It’s not standard practice.
Yeah, I agree. I’ve been involved with various charitable organizations and events, and it is standard practice to pay the hard costs of venues, caterers, that sort of thing, either out of the proceeds of the event or out of the organization’s existing funds. Go to look at any 501, c3, or any charities bookkeeping, because you can look that up, and then you will see, when they have a gala, they do this. So if a person pays for all of an event, including the venue, the caterers, the booze, the linens, the flowers, the band, the lighting, the sound, the DJ, auctioneer, generally, their name is on the charity. In my experience, from what I have seen. So I just, I agree. I think Jenna, going all
the way back to the Leah black Miami days, we watched her explain all of this, there are also a lot of tax benefits, which is why it’s not the entire reason that people do it, a lot of wealthy people, it’s a tax write off, let’s say, though. So
given Jenna is making such a big deal out of all this, the charity stuff and her involvement and whatever I did, I just wanted to look into what her charitable work is. So first, if you go to her website, she has her own website. She does have a list of things that she has done on the website, but it’s not looks like it may be. I’m guessing, it just hasn’t been updated in a few years. There’s a picture of her with the local staples store and Paramus donating school supplies the Boys and Girls Club. She donated some covid masks to a medical center in New Jersey. That’s pretty much what’s on the website. And then I did a little more digging. I found she did through a masquerade ball at a lounge called 46 lounge in I’m gonna butcher this name, Totowa New Jersey. Totowa New Jersey that benefited the Long Island musical theater festival. And then this was interesting. It looks like she created an earthquake relief fund for Turkey. She put a lot of stuff out about it in the press. And so I looked and tried to find the fund. And I’m hoping this isn’t the right one, because if the one that I found is the only one that she did. It doesn’t look like even she donated to this fund, because there were two donations. So like everybody knows, like a GoFundMe looks like, and you can see what the donations are. One was from a person named Rory for $400 and another one was from an anonymous person for 40 Her goal was $100,000 and it made $440 but I’m guessing maybe there was another fund that she created that I just didn’t find. I
do remember the earthquake relief fund, and if that’s all she raised, I find it wild, because I feel like even from her, even if she made no. Donation. Which one would assume she made? One her followers would have donated more than that. Cocktailers Get to work, find the fund. Somebody is going to hear this and let Danielle know, I’m sure. And again, no reunion. This is why I’m annoyed, because another thing that Danielle could bring up at the reunion is her charity work. If this is true, which we don’t know, as Amanda said, I would think that there’s a different Turkey Earthquake Relief Fund. If this is it, then she’s got some set of cojones to coal to yell out for raising 25,000 when she raised $440 yeah? 440, dot,
oh, oh yes, yes, exactly. Okay. I hear you. I agree with you on the no reunion thing. I was super salty about it. With the valley too. I’d be feeling like it’s time for a change on the show. In terms of Cass what’s the latest?
Andy told us, I forget where he was, but he was on a red carpet a couple weeks ago, and he said, anything you hear this season is speculation, but we know change is coming. I feel confident that Jen is out. I had heard Danielle as well, but everything is very much undecided, and it seems as though the fans are enjoying Danielle and Rachel, so I wonder if that helps them, because that was the original plan, right? Like they were the next, yeah, generation, and you have Rachel’s Watch What Happens Live, having the highest ratings of any Jersey star this season going on. We got an email which you guys know, emails aren’t verified, and very often they end up being entirely true, and sometimes parts are true. So this email said, Aiden is done. Jack Jackie, likely to everyone else, is still in play. There is some hope that the realization they could get let go will get some people closer to a common ground they can’t cast around Teresa. They either end up with fans or people she’s known for a hot minute that makes sense, Melissa and Margaret will likely take a break and be given something else under the umbrella. I think there’s a lot of different talks happening. I want your thoughts. I just don’t see how they keep some and not Teresa.
Yeah, I don’t know what that means about not being able to cast around Teresa either. I know Teresa has a lot of friends,
but wouldn’t they have already come on if they were so, I guess, right, it’s been or maybe she didn’t want them. And maybe now, looking at the prospect, or like, whatever she’s, you know what, come on. I don’t know. Then we got the real receipts email, which, again, not verified, but it says from the Arsenal the real receipts. This is a cocktail party exclusive email. We all know that the former friends are not in a good place. The friend of may be upset about a screenshot that was sent, but that’s not why she’s worried the real receipt in her former friends Arsenal are much. Bigger clearly Marge and Jackie no indication of what they’re talking about with real receipts. It could be anything from old rumors about the husband. It could be in regards to her relationship with her mom and or sister, which has been alluded to by Marge. I think it was interesting, though, you know what I thought of when I got this email. Remember when we saw Marge go to Rachel’s house? And remember when Rachel was like, Okay, that’s enough. Now, though, don’t, and Rachel doesn’t even like Jackie, but she was like, Do not send any other screenshots of other stuff you have. And Margaret was like, No, I absolutely won’t. I know. And it was ominous, and it made me at that moment, be like Margaret has shared with Rachel and probably others, something that she knows that would be a big deal, and Rachel thinks it’s crossing a line. Even though she’s not friends with Jackie, she feels like, do not do that. That’s too much. So I wonder what it is, but I don’t know what it is if anyone does and would like to tell me shoot an anonymous email. Yeah,

would hope that Marge wouldn’t pull that out either, just because I feel like Louie is 10 to go a little bit low too, with retaliation. Okay, so we got an email about Beverly Hills, and since we haven’t been talking as much about that, I thought it would be fun to share that the email is from Vanderpump. LVP has filmed a cameo for the upcoming season of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with Garcelle. She was invited to an upcoming event hosted by Garcelle, but It’s unknown if she will attend. Very unlikely.
I can totally see the CAMEO because didn’t she wasn’t it last season or the season before she maybe it was less that she filmed with Garcelle, or was that on Vanderpump?
I think that was on fear. Oh, because, like with Oliver, either way, there’s
no reason. Listen, Oliver is employed by Lisa, which has strengthened the friendship between LVP and Garcelle. So I can totally see LVP sitting down to have a shady conversation where Garcelle laughs and goes, Stop it. Oh, no, don’t say that, that kind of thing. Yeah, because Lisa is and I have to say, I don’t know if it’s looking at Lisa through a new scope or just whatever, but Lisa’s can be cruel and like, I get her and Kyle aren’t friends, but she’s been on, like, a real press run of relishing in Kyle’s breakup with Mauricio. Yeah, and it feels very icky to me. It really does.
I agree with you. I didn’t like the way she came off in the last was it? Was she on watch? What Happens Live? When? What was that? Oh, she
was, like, really out of order, on watch, what happens live. But she was on a podcast. I honestly can’t remember which podcast it was, but it was, like, one of the big ones that a lot of people listen to. And she basically said that when she was on, she knew of a married couple where the husband cheated, but she won’t say who it was. Now, that could be Dory, that could be Kyle. It’s one of the two. Kyle was then on an Amazon live, and people were asking her, and Kyle was like, I’m very pissed off about what she’s insinuating, and she should be careful, because I, too, know a lot of things about her, and I can share them. Yeah, so she issued a warning, yeah, which I don’t think Lisa would adhere to a warning she never has. Yeah,
I don’t know. Or maybe she would. I’m not sure. I there’s this other since you brought up Mauricio and Kyle like there’s this other rumor going around. I don’t know if you want to chat about that really quick, okay, first,
I have never believed this. A while back there were whispers. Remember, they even addressed it at a reunion that Mauricio and Doreen had hooked up, right? If we remember, there was a situation where. Sure, so now both the couples split. So the new rumor is that Kyle’s giving it to dorit because she believes that Dorit, like had a thing with Mauricio. The only thing we’ve ever seen other than their close relationship, when both couples were intact, was that after the Kemsley robbery, when they were all like group hugging, and it was like a traumatic scene, she kissed Mauricio shoulder, and if you remember that scene, I always found it ridiculous, because you could see that dorit was clearly disoriented and very upset and didn’t like if you’re having an affair with your good friend’s husband, you’re not going to kiss his shoulder, you’re going to stay home.
You’re going to be like, super Yeah, you’re gonna be like, super on alert. I agree. I agree. I don’t know. I don’t believe it. I think I do want to know, like, what it is between Kyle and doreet that what it is that is causing them to go after each other, especially given they’re both going through really tough times. We talked about this way back when that we hoped that at least it could, they could support each other. But Kyle came out recently and said straight up, she’s like you would think we would be, but this is not that is not the case.
So I do believe there’s an it there, I don’t think it’s as simple as it could be, as simple as Kyle taking offense to to read, asking about her marriage on camera, but I just
think the email about her or her sharing the text right, but
about the right? Yeah, it could be that, plus asking about her marriage on camera, plus the comment she made in the confessionals about Morgan. And it could also just be that, at this moment, Kyle doesn’t need her Yeah, so yeah. It’s also a good storyline for Kyle right to be fighting with doret, because it distracts from, like some followers pointed out, that this, even this rumor about the Mauricio thing could be revived as a way to distract from her and Morgan, someone else said that, oh, this is the other thing that a couple of people said they always thought that they were swingers. Here’s the thing. First of all, Kyle does not strike me as a swinger in any way, shape or form. Yeah. And the other thing is, I not a swinger. I don’t play one on TV, but it just seems to me that if you are a swinger, you don’t swing with not only friend of yours, but people you film with. It would be way too risky. You know what I’m saying? Like that just Yeah, doesn’t add up. Yeah,
I don’t know. I too, am not a swinger. I don’t know what the rules are with all that kind of stuff, but, yeah, I don’t see that. I don’t see that either. Okay, so the other big thing that’s been going on behind the scenes is Kenya has, it’s been confirmed she is done, or at least on pause. She is not filming anymore for this season of Atlanta.

we got all the emails. We were told we were we got the email last week. We shared that they said she was out. And I was like, we both were like, she’s so smart. How Why would she do this, and she’s maintaining that these are anonymous sources. This is not true, but the network investigated it. She was fired, so the TMZ article tried to say it was a mutual decision, but then said she’s considering legal action, so get. What? Who on earth leaves a show mutually and then sues? Yeah, it wasn’t her choice. I do think that. I don’t think a lawsuit is imminent, and the reason I don’t think it’s imminent is because I think she’s gonna wait and see if it’s more of a pause, if embassy NBC offers her something in place of it, like a traders or something like that. But if the well dries up, a la brandy Glanville, we will see a lawsuit. I’m not saying it’ll be a successful lawsuit, but I believe we’ll see one. I
think that just ends your career for good if you do that right, right? Kenya, and I think she, you know, I’m sure that is the reason that she is holding off on or that she maybe hasn’t filed anything yet. I, you know, I just, I would love it. I would love to know what really happened. Because, you know, the day of this event, it was either a producer or a camera person who tweeted something like, I’ve never seen something like this happen? Right? Clearly something did something clearly did happen. We originally thought maybe the issue was because of somebody threatening gun violence, but then it started to come out that there was this other issue with this possible, I don’t know, revenge porn is a word that’s being used. I don’t know if it’s really quite applicable in this in the case, but again, I just something ain’t adding up to me, because I do think Kenya is so smart. And then candy came out in a video publicly saying all housewives go too far and cross lines. And this isn’t fair, but I do just want to bring up, and obviously this was extreme, but Phaedra making up the lie that she and Todd had drugged Portia an attempt to take her to the sex dungeon, Pedro was let go, and candy rightly refused to film with her, rightly
but, and I understand candy is Kenya’s friend, but candy is not filming. She was not there, presumably. So how does candy know it’s not to a level where she should have been let go. She has to be taking Kenya’s word for it. I do think to some degree we know that Bravo is stricter now in light of recent events, absolutely. But the fact remains, she did something. Kenya has a decade long relationship with Bravo. They are rebooting Atlanta. They still kept Kenya. Yeah, they want this reboot to be successful, it makes Bravo production, the cast, everyone’s life more difficult now that she is cut. They have to edit around her. They have to find someone to fill that spot, because Kenya brings a lot. Yeah, they’re not firing her for no reason. Candy out of all people as smart as she is, knowing the way these things work, it does seem odd that she publicly spoke out like that. So I have always maintained Phaedra deserved to be cut, and as much as I would love her back, she is back on Bravo. So I just feel like, if you can have her on traders and married to medicine, if Candy’s not around, what’s the difference to have her on Atlanta? But yeah, I was really taken aback with candy speaking out like that.
So question for you, were they considering this season that was filming, is filming right now? Were they considering that
a reboot? The only people there, that’s not true, okay, so you have Portia, yeah, and Kenya, and then Cynthia as a friend of so it’s not a full reboot, but, yeah, oh, the like, but here’s the thing to me, Drew is I don’t even get drew because she’s from their bad years.
What I maintain that they kept her because she’s
cheap. Like, are you just gonna say, yeah, probably a money thing and a little bit of a more continuity thing and people, yeah, to know what’s going on in her life since she because of the worst thing happened at the very end of last Yeah. Okay, so we did hear, we did get an email, because with Kenya leaving a Kenya sized hole in the cast, they are looking to fill that role. So the subject in this email is Kenya and Real Housewives of Atlanta. With Kenya bowing out for season 16, producers are thinking of bringing in a new peach holder, similarly to what they did with Real Housewives of Beverly Hills last season with Anna Marie. Anna Marie came in halfway through the season in like episode six, with this new peach. We are not sure what side of the divided cast shall fall on, but this should be interesting.
Here’s the thing, if you’re not going to bring back somebody like Phaedra, another new person, we have to meet. Right? I’m telling you, I the fact that she was like, Oh, something really transpired. But after what happened to Kenya, would she be too cautious to bring good drama, another newbie and then, like I said, it’s somebody else we have to get. I don’t know, we were also hopeful for Atlanta, so this is like a total buzz kill. Yeah,

You don’t have to throw drinks at people or be physically get into physical alterations or do things like that to bring the dramas. Cherae can cut people down with her words. I wait. You know what I wanted to mention to you? I don’t know if you saw this. And I hope I get to dress so Cynthia’s ex, Peter Thomas, oh, he posted this video, and essentially we know that he’s had some legal trouble regarding tax evasion. Yeah, five
years of he’s facing five years of time for and he
came out and did a video on Instagram, and he said I made a lot of mistakes. I admit that I did this. I put myself in a position where I wasn’t making enough money to pay the bills, pay my staff, pay myself and pay taxes. I made a lot of stupid decisions. And I tried. I kept thinking I could get ahead of it, and I wasn’t able to, and in a really bad bind now, and I broke the law and I did a wrong thing, and this is going back 10 years, and when he said that 10 year thing, my brain went, ding. Clearly, this is part of the reason, if not the reason their marriage dissolved, yeah. And I just wonder, what if anything. Now that it’s public and they’re filming, she addresses, I do think it’s relevant, because when she was on, we watched her marry Peter. We all got to know Peter. Peter was always in the women’s business. As Nini pointed out, stay out of women’s business. What did she say then? Yeah, women’s business. And I also clearly remember when sienta Cynthia was a guest on 2t in a pod. She said that it was actually Peter who pushed her to pursue real housewives, that she was very iffy about it, like he loved the spotlight. I’m sure he loved the idea of the spotlight on his businesses. So I guess what I’m saying is there is the opportunity for Cynthia to be bumped up and have a bigger storyline. Yeah, and who’s to say that crafty Peter? Because we know that they’re still friends. Who’s to say that crafty Peter didn’t do that video and they aren’t currently sitting at a cafe in Atlanta talking about his legal issues and then discussing how it affected their marriage and etc, etc. I could see it. I would personally want to see it. I always Peter’s kind of a complicated character, but I like him in many ways. I thought he was, I don’t know. I enjoyed him. Obviously, in recent years, we didn’t know when he was on that he was a schemer. So, like, when we were what, I don’t even want to say, schemer, because when he had video, like, I honestly felt bad, because it’s not easy to have a business, especially a brick and mortar business where you have employees, and covid was such a bad time for restaurant tours and all of these real life things. And I don’t believe
like you and I both know, like a lot of business owners, you, it depends on how your business is formulated, but we have to pay taxes in advance. So we have to pay estimated taxes every quarter and write a check on based on when you haven’t yet made or might not make. Well, yeah, what we think our taxes are going to be? And that’s, you know, especially if you’re struggling, that’s That’s a harder check to write. So, yeah, I could see how it could happen, and where I for Peter, not for me, yeah, yeah. So, but what I would
like to give him the platform is that I think that it’s very easy to paint people with a brush and be to me, it’s very different to do mortgage for and to purchase a home that you know you can’t afford and lie about income and everything like that. Where what Peter did, I don’t believe and I could be wrong, but after listening to him explain it, and it’s on his if you guys are interested, you can go to his Peter Thomas’s Instagram page and watch it. I don’t believe that he got into business trying to scam. I think that the train left the station and he was trying to go back and get passengers, like, I just think that it got out of his hands. And, yeah, no, I think it would be interesting. And I think that it’s something that we because we’re, like, the thing about someone like Cynthia, we’re invested in her because we know her. So rather than, I guess I say all this to say, rather than bring on a new lady and. Watch her bullshit, whatever that I don’t know anything about, because there’s going to be enough of that. Yes, it’s nice to meet a couple new people, but I also the people who like, I’ve invested seasons watching. Yeah, I’d like to tie up the Cynthia Peter thing, because now we see this, and we know that this must have played into their relationship worse.
And I think they’ve even said so that money issues and right and a thing was a big part of their downfall.
And also, I like capturing, and it is a burden on the reality star, but we, this is what we like, capturing what’s really happening, and not a produced thing of Cynthia fighting with drew over a charity event. This is what’s really happening in her ex husband’s life, and in real life, if this is happening, she’s talking to her girlfriends, and she’s saying, oh my god, I can’t believe this all came to a head. Thank God I got out when I did. Thank God we had a rock solid prenup. Thank God I didn’t invest in his third restaurant, which is the one that did him in. These are real conversations, and that’s interesting, yeah, and it will be interesting when our new housewife says to her, I can’t believe you, you left him because he had bad business. And then that’s a real fight where Cynthia is really mad because this woman is judging her leaving her husband because this is real. This is not some nonsense that’s produced via Jim Leonard, real life stuff. These aren’t Twitter accounts. These are these women’s lives. These are their opinions on other people’s lives. And this is where the conflict happens between the wives, because you conduct your life, you leave your husband because of bad business deal he does, and then people judge you for it, and let’s hear about it.

think too just listening. I have listened to Cynthia some on two teas and A pod, and it sounds like girlfriend is booked and busy, like she’s filming a lot of stuff, and so, like, I’m really interested to see more of that and see more of her life, just in general. You
know what I wanted to say, too, that I’m enjoying seeing and I feel like they’re getting their due I remember a couple of years ago when Carlos King started his podcast. I was listening to one of his episodes, and he said something like, there’s no life after housewives if you get cut from the show. And I feel like for a long time that was true, and I think that landscape is changing. I think it’s a combination of reality stars, having the social media platform and having so like whether Cynthia’s on the show or not, she has people who enjoy her and who will buy a product she promotes, who will attend an event that she hosts, who will watch a show on a different network, one of these big brother or whatever, surreal live, whatever. So I do think what Carlos said was true at one time, and I think we’re seeing that change, which is cool,
absolutely. And I think some of the women are doing a good job of setting themselves up with careers that can endure. Yes, I know you and I never see, oh, we don’t really see eye to eye on Teddy, but Teddy did a great job with that, with and
Tamara too, because at the time Tamara, when Tamara started that podcast, she was not yet back on the show.
And I think they’ve done a job. Oh, by the way, Vicky and Christian
gray snow, yeah, shout out to Christian gray snow. Him and I have very opposite views on the housewives. He did have. Me when he had his own podcast, which I don’t believe he has anymore, because he moved and personal stuff. And now we see he’s going to be, I believe he’s going to be her co host, or he’s a guest on it. Yeah, it looks like they’re going to be co hosts. And Christian grace, know, is a great example of somebody who he loves Theresa, he loves Vicki, him and I have very different views, but at the same time, we respect each other, we share each other’s stuff. He had me on his pod because, as fun as it is to agree, it’s also fun to debate. And when I went on his pod, that’s what we did. And we were like, literally, we probably could have sat there for five hours because we were going back and forth, like, yelling at each not yelling at each other, proving on points and everything like that. I have to tell you, Vicky, I would tune in to listen. First of all, I would tune in to listen because I like Christian, and he had a good pod when he had a pod. But I would also tune in to listen because Vicky’s got some wild takes, and I probably won’t agree with any of it, but if I’m in the car this summer and I’m driving around doing camp, drop off, pickup, whatever, and it pops up, I will listen to it because it will be interesting.
I’m definitely gonna check it out, because I do think she’s, she’s got a much more, I think interesting. I just, I like, I will be interested. I don’t know that I always am going to agree with her, but I think it’ll be fun. And I like it that she has somebody to play off of, and that it’s not just a It’s not just her podcast. Like, you know somebody, well, yeah, to podcast, yeah. But speaking of OC, the trailer was so good. We are getting forget what day it’s soon, though, in the next couple weeks, I want to say july 11. Yeah, the new season. So there was something that kind of stood out. And I think we, like, barely touched on on it, but not in any detail that Gina and Travis, who, if you guys remember they were, they’re engaged.
Well, no, they’re not engaged. I
thought I did. Only think so. Oh, okay, no, but say I live together with their kids. I believe they did that little like backyard wedding, but it was like a fake wedding. Remember, with the kids, don’t think they’re engaged, okay? So they’re not engaged, all right, but they’re not living together. And we see her say she doesn’t want to break up with him. She just wants to break up with his ex wife, so we have hosted that the ex hates Gina. She’s caused a lot of issues. But what is interesting is coming from a source, we got a confirmation that Gina and Travis are not living together, but that they are still together like they’re on a vacation. I think yes, they’re a virgin
crews or something. Yeah, right now, but this is where it gets interesting. And this actually shout out to our cocktailers who joined us for the zoom, because we as a cocktail community put this puzzle together, and now we’re sharing with the broader listeners. But so I said, I was like, Hey, did you guys see I posted in cocktail today that Gina and Travis aren’t living together, and they were like, B Amanda, you guys don’t remember the email you got. So we got an email while back that said, and again, this is a cocktail exclusive, so if you’re not a subscriber, you may not have read this. So I’m going to share it so that all the pieces that we’re putting make sense. It said no more booze is the subject. I’m not sure how this West Coast housewife kept the real reason for her recent ish sobriety private. A quick Google search shows that it wasn’t an awakening years after her DUI, because remember when Gina stopped drinking? It was like three or four seasons after her DUI, and she tried to say that she stopped, you stopped drinking three years later because of a DUI. So if you Google it, there’s an article that really never picked up that much steam. It’s from a few years ago, and word is that her ex got this, got this article out that she stopped drinking because apparently her and Travis had an argument, and something happened. Kids saw it, so on the Zoom, what I was saying was, okay, but his ex wife can’t tell them not to live together. And you and everybody was like, B, yes, the ex would be able legally to make him not live with her if something did transpire, and there was proof it transpired, such as the kids saying it, or what? Or a police officer record some if it’s legally like somebody said, there are reasons, like, if there’s six kids and there’s only two bedrooms that the other parent can say no, like for that, but if there’s a legally documented reason why the mother feels the children might not be safe, so that I’m like, because the other thing is, we know that they’re not wealthy people, so if they’re still together, why would anybody pay a mortgage and a rent or two rent or two mortgages, unless they had to. So obviously, this ex wife has something where she was able to make it so that, I guess, when he doesn’t have the kids, he stays with Gina, and when he does, he’s. To stay elsewhere. Pretty wild. Discovery via the cocktailers,
yeah, very unless
listen and do I think that they’re going to say that on this season? No, do I think that Gina is going to say, Oh, he can’t. I think that they’re going to have to present it differently, and I don’t know how they do that, and especially now that we have verbalized this theory, she’s going to have to face that at the reunion, because somebody’s bringing it up, because, if that’s the reason the cast knows it, yeah,
but it also could be like, We’re not touching this because we don’t go after kids. And that would be, my hope is, that would be a really low blow to me, if that, if there’s a theory is correct, which everything obviously always just a theory. If that theory is correct, and somebody brought it up, just to be an asshole to Gina like that, to me, feels really low. I don’t like I don’t like that. I don’t know. Let’s talk Dubai, the for we just watched the fourth episode. I do have a bone to pick. I’ll bring that up in a minute. So we start out by seeing Caroline and Sergio, so they’re living at her friend Michael’s house. So this was interesting. So they said, in order to buy a house and beyond any of the bills in Dubai, you have to show three years of employment history and credit. So Sergio hasn’t been in the country long enough. Everything is in Caroline’s name. And Caroline at the beginning, she’s fight there they start fighting because she’s, I’m trying to get all of the like, utilities and all of that kind of stuff set up, because we can’t. We literally cannot get the keys to the house until we show proof that we have all of this set up. And Sergio just keeps interrupting her. What about this person? Are you gonna do this? And blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, and he’s, I almost think it’s like a bit, because it’s, he was so annoying that I’m like, I don’t I must have been a bit, because it just for him to have that little self awareness. You know,
I have to say, from what I see, this is not a marriage built to last. Eva
Caroline says it in this episode. She’s, yeah, I told him, I give it about 10 or 15 years, and she’s i, and the reason is she’s because I am going to be older. There’s going to be a day where I’m 60 and he’s 40, and she’s so I have told him the door is open and that I don’t want him to feel like he has to stay. And I actually thought that was really interesting.
I think it’s really interesting. And I listen. We can all chat about it, we can pass our judgments, we can whatever. And at the end of the day, it’s up to the two people in the relationship. Well, he’s pushing for this baby, but I think in her head, she’s, you know what, I’m not having another baby I got 10 years. When he’s 37 he’ll still be plenty young enough as a man to have a or a woman, whatever, to have a baby at 37 And so maybe that’s how she sleeps at night, because she is wasting his time if he wants a baby and she has no intention, and she is that a bit, is it like, I’m not having a baby? And is he like, that’s fine. I don’t necessarily need one, or we can adopt down the road, or whatever. Yeah. I also find it weird how, like, clearly, at the party they had, when the daughter, like, completely punked him, and he looked upset by it. I

All right, I might get yelled at by some cocktails, but I don’t think so, because I think it’s different if you’re a 47 year old woman and you’re in a relationship with a 27 year old or a 30 year old and you either have young children, right? So if her children were young, if they were like five and seven or something, or 10 or whatever, versus or no children, right? So you’re a 47 year old with no children. Carol radsouel, right? When you’re a 47 year old woman and you have college age children, and your boyfriend is only 10 years older than them, or, I think it goes for a man or a woman, right, where your girlfriend is only so like you’re going to look at colleges with your 18 year old you have a 28 year old husband. I just think it makes for too much of a disconnect, because how can he relate to do you know what I’m saying? Like he wants kids. So if Carolyn had a Caroline, I always do that with the name Carolyn, by the way, Carolyn’s or Caroline’s. I always mix it up. But yeah, me too. So if she’s 47 and she’s got a kid in first grade and a kid in fourth grade, I feel like it’s easier to become a blended family. Yes, I say because the kids, because eight year old is gonna still view a 28 year old as an adult, and maybe, maybe take them seriously, or even if Caroline’s daughter gave him the utmost respect, it’s still if my father, or your father, had a wife who was 10 years older than us, it would be weird. Yeah, I could not take that seriously, as opposed to if, as opposed to if, when my father? Okay, if my father was 45 I was five years old and his my stepmom was 25 I’m a five year old. Yeah, she’s 20 years younger than my dad, but I’m a five year old and she’s 20 years older than me, so she’s in a right doesn’t that make so it’s like the age of her children, I think, is what throws off the dynamic. and it is a non conventional situation. I think she knows that she’s definitely opened the door to there being some looks, some disconnects, like you said, however, I don’t think it is at all appropriate for an 18 or 19 year old to say, I think you’re too clingy. Like, they’re, they’re doing, like, forensic dentistry to to figure out how old she is, but then we don’t get to find out whole chi it is this gonna be in the, like, season finale? Line aside and tells her, and she’s like, how are you guys doing? Is, Are things okay? And this is when Caroline’s like, I told him the doors open, if right, Eve and all of that. And I gotta say, like I thought that the way she did it was the way a friend would do it. You pull him aside. Now it caused some drama, because instead of bringing it up at the table in front of everybody, she pulled her aside, and everybody else is what’s going on. And Lisa flips out because she’s, I want to know, and it’s rude and blah, blah, blah. So it’s funny to me that it’s still caused some so cause, like it’s, I’m
loving to lean and on Watch What Happens Live. Taleen really goes in on Brooks, who remember she brought her on the show? Yeah, yeah. They were good friends. And Brooks then took to social media and was texting saying that taleen and her husband bring women into their bedroom, which is quite the accusation. So another reunion that shall not be missed if you guys are not watching Dubai. And because I just Amanda did a poll, like, I asked a question about the episode, and then I was like, loving it, meh, not watching. 35% of cocktails are not watching. Just, I implore you, we don’t have a lot on right now, so give it a shot. If you’ve tried it last season and you didn’t like it as a man, not that you didn’t like it, you were just men aboard. Yeah, last season, but this season, I really like I do too.
I really good dynamic. I like that. There’s the friendships and this last episode, especially when we talk about the city being a character Dubai. It is a glittery jewel of a character this, especially this last episode this, it makes me really want to go, Oh, me too, me too. I just need to make a lot more money so you can go shopping there.
